今日はアプリ紹介2弾ということでやっていきたいと思います

今日紹介するのはDuoRingoというアプリです

私はこのアプリを使い始めて早3年ですかね

It has been almost 3 years since I started using this app, hasn't it?

非常に優秀なアプリなのでお勧めしたいと思います

DuoRingoというのは先ほど言った通り言語を勉強するアプリなんですけど

DuoRingo, as I mentioned earlier, is an app for studying languages.

どっちかというと

日本語からでも勉強できるのは結構限られて

英語から世界中の言語を

From English to languages around the world.

30、40カ国ぐらいの言語を学ぶことができる言語なんですね

一番スタンダードで人気なのはスペイン語、フランス語

1日5分やるだけで全然変わってくるってことを言いたくて

I wanted to say that just doing it for 5 minutes a day makes a big difference.

僕の場合は今休暇中でコロナで別に学校もないので

I'm currently on vacation and there are no classes due to COVID.

1日2時間くらいやってるんですけども

I do it for about 2 hours a day.

1日5分から始められるっていうのがすごいところで

The amazing thing is that you can start with just five minutes a day.

毎日その1時間ってガツンとやるというよりも

Rather than doing that hour intensely every day,

毎日継続してやるっていうことがすごい大事っていうのを

It's very important to keep doing something consistently every day.

教えてくれるアプリなんですよね

毎日何日間やってるのか

何日連続でやってますよってのを教えてくれて

Please tell me how many consecutive days you've been doing it.

今はこういうのを始めてるんですけども

I'm starting something like this now.

今は89日ストリークでやってるんですけども

I'm currently on an 89-day streak.

本当だったら200日くらいいってるはずなんですけど

If it were true, I should have gone for about 200 days.

コスタリカから日本に帰ってくる途中の飛行機の中で

On the plane coming back to Japan from Costa Rica.

飛行機の中でやらなかったんですよ

I didn't do it on the plane.

そしたら時差が10時間以上あるので

Then, since there is a time difference of more than 10 hours,

ストリークは保てなかったんですけど

I couldn't maintain the streak, though.

本当だったら本来であれば200日くらいいってるはずだったんですけど

If it were true, it would have been around 200 days.

今は89日ですかね

これはそのチップスっていうのを見ると

When I see those chips,

単語の文法とかも教えてくれたりとか

They also teach me about the grammar of words and things like that.

あとはそうですね

毎日2分でどのくらい問題答えられるかっていう

It's about how many questions you can answer in 2 minutes every day.

ものであったりとか

あとはストーリーズって言って

Just say it's a story.

そのやってる言語

The language you are using.

これはフランス語とスペイン語限定なんですけども

This is limited to French and Spanish.

ストーリーズって言って

その言語でストーリーを聞くことができたりとか

"Being able to hear the story in that language or something."

そういうのを教えてくれたりとか

そういう言語に慣れていくにはすごいおすすめですね

あとこのアプリと併用で

Facebookとかでそのデュオリンゴグループっていうのがあって

There’s a group called Duolingo on Facebook and such.

同じスペイン語を勉強してる人たちと仲間になったりすると

When I become friends with people who are studying the same Spanish language...

いろんな情報を共有できたりとかするので

Because we can share various kinds of information.

Facebookとデュオリンゴを併用で使うと

Using Facebook in conjunction with Duolingo.

すごいいいのかなっていうふうに思います

I think it's really great.

あとはすごいところというか

It's also an amazing place, or rather...

一人だとやっぱり結構モチベーションも上がらないんですけど

When I'm alone, my motivation doesn't really rise that much.

デュオリンゴは友達と一緒に

Duolingo is with friends.

フォローし合える環境があって

An environment where we can follow each other.

自分の一緒に誘って一緒にやろうよって言って

Let's invite ourselves together and do it together.

友達とこのアプリやると

When I use this app with my friends,

友達がどんぐらい今やってるか

How much is my friend doing it now?

どんぐらい勉強してるかっていうのを把握できたりするので

You can get a grasp of how much you are studying.

こいつこんな今日やってんじゃん

This guy is doing this today, huh?

俺も負けてられないなみたいな感じで

I can't be outdone either.

モチベーションをキープすることができると思います

I believe I can keep my motivation up.

なので英語だけじゃなくて

So it's not just about English.

他のいろんな言語を勉強したい人とやったりとかは
