1955年にTBSで放送された

Broadcast on TBS in 1955

寺山修司が構成を務めた

日の丸というドキュメンタリー作品があるんですけども

これが当時の郵政省にすごく苦情を言われまして

すごくジャイルズの気持ちは分かるんですけど

音域もすごく狭くなった気がするし

I feel like my vocal range has become really narrow.

すっきり綺麗になってるっていう

だけどそこはもう本人のセンスなので

いいか悪いかっていうのはもう本人で

それに対してジャッジできる人が多分

あの辺はもうドラッグソングなんで

やっぱりその

かなり聞き終えやすくなってるっていう

なんかすごいその

That’s kind of amazing, isn’t it?

打楽器がないアコギと弦だけって言うけど

They say it's just an acoustic guitar without percussion and only strings.

一応ロックバンドの曲だよってことを

It's just a rock band's song, you know.

なんかこうジャイルズなりに

In some way, like Giles.

なんかそのパーカッショナブルな

Somehow that percussive thing.
