Places where women can thrive.

"Such as past prime ministers who have aimed to increase their activities."

As the world keeps saying...

In fact, the site management, job execution officers, etc.

It's about the opportunities and ratios for women to thrive.

I wonder if it's really going up.

It's gradually rising, but it's still very low compared to the global standard.

There was some kind of ranking that came out recently, though.

I think the reality is that I'm in a position that makes me want to wake up.

I was in last place.

It's a team that's close to being in last place.

Second from the bottom or something.

Which number from the bottom will you do?

はい

Yes

It's the last-place team, isn't it?

I think what's there is a result of neglecting things like employment benefits.

From now on, we have no choice but to increase this ratio.

I think it should rise, and it will probably rise.

That is the proportion of men in the male working population in Japan.

The ratio in the world is around 6% or something like that.

It might have been lower than 6%.

It's truly a minority, isn't it?

はい

Yes

The percentage of men among the working population in the world is around 6% or something like that.

With such a decrease in the working population domestically,

In order to maintain employment, we have no choice but to leverage diversity.

Without diversity, innovation cannot arise.

Finally, in that form, now.

I believe many executives from various companies in Japan are becoming aware of this now.

I believe that from now on, we have no choice but to rise.

Regarding affirmative action

I used to wonder what it would be like back in the day.

"For so many years, we've been saying this and that about diversity."

Nothing has changed at all.

I still believe that affirmative action is necessary now.

Increasing the number of female outside directors is...

This is a superficial story, so...

As expected, the decision-making process at the scene of execution.

If women don't get involved properly, there's nothing that can be done.

I think we really have no choice but to focus on that.

It will feel like we are inviting an outside director from outside the company.

If it's true, then the business...

The proper people in charge of business operations are coming up properly.

That's right.

I hope that's the case.

The original pie.

As Ms. Asumi said

With women originally being scarce...

Many people quit along the way.

It's quite difficult to be promoted to an executive position through performance in the business, isn't it?

This is why the way we've been doing it until now.

I think we need to completely change our way of thinking and reassess it.

I just mentioned that I think affirmative action is necessary.

When discussing this kind of topic in a corporate setting,

The magic words will definitely come up.

Magic word

It's unfair.

It's unfair.

It's unfair just because she's a woman.

When the motivation of male employees decreases,

Actually, there was a program like that on NHK the other day.

It's nice that my son, a university student, is a woman.

It's a conversation about how it's nice that only women are being focused on.

It’s the opposite in this immediate situation, isn’t it?

I believe that is indeed a very significant inhibiting factor.

Often, women who have been promoted...

I am being made to wear wooden sandals.

I sometimes receive consultations that mention it's difficult.

I always say this at that time, but...

Got it. Please close your eyes and imagine the faces of your past bosses.

There were a lot of people wearing geta, right?

Masumi is nodding deeply a little bit.

I think everyone listening in their cars is nodding along.

You're deliberately mentioning inequality and unfairness right now, but...

So is it equal now and not unfair?

Then, suddenly, when a woman said something like "Thank you,"

It's like saying that we cannot do anything unfair.

I think it's strange.

So, do you intend to continue this very distorted structure?

For example, it's often said that...

Well, I did properly deal with women before too.

I tried, but it was difficult to continue, and the person ended up feeling worse and quit.

So there are people who say things like, "That's why Japanese society is indeed difficult," and they just neatly wrap it up.

There are a fair number of them, but...

At that time, I always ask.

Well, when that woman was promoted to an executive position...

Who took that person to greet the customers?

It is the previous person.

Who was the person before?

It’s really not good, especially if this person is being put in this position as a woman for the first time.

Taking that person around the customers should be done by the president or, for example, the branch manager if it is at a branch.

It's not the previous person.

If the person before me took them normally, it definitely depends on the industry and the customer.

It's a very individualized topic, so discussing it all at once can be risky, but it certainly seems to be that way.

"Certainly, it seems like that."

There may be various difficulties as things may go awry, but I believe it is extremely important for someone who is truly responsible to accompany us, so I would appreciate your support. If there is anything, please feel free to contact me directly.

So, you can't just keep promoting without follow-up. Once you promote, you have to take responsibility and check in with the person one-on-one every few months.

"So it's not good to just keep promoting without follow-up. Once you've promoted someone, you have to take responsibility and meet with them one-on-one every few months. Goldman Sachs was very diligent about that, but it seems like not many others do."

Goldman Sachs was very reliable in that regard, but it doesn't seem like that kind of thing is very...

Because I don't see it in Japanese companies.

Since we have promoted it,

"I also feel the responsibility of my appointment."

So that that person can settle in properly.

To be able to do it well.

Without providing maximum support.

"I administered it, but it didn’t work."

I really think that is nothing.

It might be something that commonly happens in Japanese companies, but...

Rather, it is more like...

It seems like I am trying to make things more difficult for you.

Cute girls attract others.

There is a proverb that says so.

I think you tend to go that way quite a bit, after all.

But I'm not really like that.

After all, in providing a place for this kind of activity...

After all, we have to provide maximum support.

After all, people who have the potential to grow don't really grow.

Rather, it is more about placing them in a harsh working environment.

Thinking that the machine loss is higher.

I guess that's the way to feel more confident.

In order to stand in front of the customer.

As you mentioned earlier.

Someone in a high position like the president.

I think there is someone.

After all, I've been working in foreign companies for a long time too.

I don't think Japanese companies understand it at all.

Rather, I would say that I understand the least.

I don't think it's strange, though.

But when working for a foreign company...

So-called internal sponsor.

It's like saying you'll lift me up.

There are always sponsors involved.

Such support is

I really think it's very important.

Rather than just being thrown into an open battlefield.

"Providing proper support at key points."

I truly feel it is important.

I think the presence of a mentor is really significant.

What I was really grateful for about JS is...

Things like mentor and mentee.

The company is very conscious of it.

Make it for me.

Because there is such an environment, I also...

I want this person to become my mentor.

To ask for it myself.

I had them become my mentor by doing my own lamping.

By consulting with those kinds of people about my career...

There are parts that are very comforting.

For example, during the 22 years, there was certainly...

I've never thought about quitting because work is hard, though.

After all, it's about balancing childcare.

There was a time when I felt very辛く.

At that time, to the senior woman who came from America,

Like becoming a mentor or something like that.

I give myself a score of 60 as a mother to the person I received from.

As a working adult, I also score 60 points.

As a businessman, I rate myself a 60 out of 100.

While tears are streaming down, saying it's extremely painful.

If I told that person

The American woman who was my mentor

No, 60 plus 60 is 120.

Thank you for saying that.

I was saved by that one word.

That's really good!

I’m glad to be saved, so 60 plus 60 is 120.

Also, what you mentioned as a plus is...

You raise a full-course child too.

I want to work too.

Since you chose it, a full course is better than à la carte.

The price is high.

I was really told.

You were incredibly saved, weren't you?

So that's why, after all, like that...

It's like a mentor-mentee relationship.

"Also, if you really promoted it..."

Become a sponsor responsibly.

It's often called a kickstart.

I will say it, but especially...

I think of work as a battlefield.

It's inevitable, but if you're going to send them into battle...

Proper way of fighting.

to impart or teach

I'll pair you up with a mentor.

That's the kind of thing.

If you go there,

It's because guys like this are firing cannons from the right.

そこで

So, there.

Are you saying to go north?

Isn't there a way to fight?

Doing that strategically and...

"You're appointed, now do your best."

I'll just go ahead and put it out there.

Well, it can't be helped if you die in about three seconds.

Sometimes it hits.

So let's approach that a bit more strategically.

I would like you to do it.

I think it's amazing.

We need to not let them carry weapons.

You can't fight, can you?

If you send them to a place like that unarmed, they'll just get shot down.

That’s already...

I think it's unconceivable in every way.

If you get caught in concentrated fire

Being under concentrated fire, especially as a newcomer, stands out.

I might really be killed.

そこを

There.

So that's where human capital comes in.

Is it really okay to kill this person?

Please make sure to think about that properly too.

Once appointed,

A few people should properly provide guidance.

Especially to protect.

The timing for the kickstart is...

I have to do it for you.

Well, that's impossible.

I have that kind of feeling.

Well, it's outside my area of expertise, but...

I thought there was quite a lot of sekahara (sexual harassment).

From man to woman

When I go to America

When there are actions or words like that,

"Quickly to personnel matters, etc."

行って

Go.

Maybe it's something that could be subject to a lawsuit.

It's a country with many lawsuits, after all.

あと首

Also, the neck.

I'll be fired immediately, but...

Japan is relatively that.

I would say the tolerance range is wide.

In the past, quite a bit.

I thought it was larger.

It's become quite tough now, but...

If you say it normally,

If you were to say it in America.

A level that could get you fired.

Quite a few Japanese women are...

While laughing

It's like saying "someone shouldn't do that."

I think there is a culture.

あれも

That too.

I'm sorry, but this is completely outside of my expertise.

You can say whatever you like, but...

I'm wondering what they're talking about.

That seems a bit off as well.

No more sexual harassment or power harassment.

Before talking about diversity

Things that should not be done as a human.

So I’m actually making quite a few suggestions.

It's quite something, isn't it?

It might be difficult to incorporate.

As expected, within the performance evaluation.

That's what sexual harassment and power harassment are, of course.

Including things like "you haven't done it, have you?"

What is more important is indeed

From the perspective of something like "Sexual Harassment City DI"

Does this person really understand?

Are you doing that kind of thing?

You have to put it in properly.

If I do this...

The situation where I can't get promoted.

As you create it.

I think it's okay.

I am making some suggestions, though.

It's quite difficult to understand the personnel evaluation system.

It seems that changing it is difficult.

But still, if I don't do that...

Perhaps.

I think we're in a transitional period right now, especially.

I want to meet during this transitional period, this situation.

It won't change.

I think it won't change.

What I have left is quite a bit.

The term "self-funded discrimination."

I heard this for the first time the other day.

I thought the difference in out-of-pocket expenses was really remarkable.

I also had it, you know.

In what is known as a "synchronous earth school."

Men are often good at it.

For example, that person.

When a woman becomes pregnant.

It must be tough because you have kids, right?

A little overtime-free.

It feels like it's okay to take a break.

"Trying to move it."

ですね

That's right.

I had it too.

When it comes to whether or not to promote.

If it gets any more difficult for my boss...

You are too much.

I think you might quit your job.

I was told that you are worried.

But at that time, really...

Thank you for your concern for me.

I appreciate it, but...

That's something I decide.

It's not something that the department head should decide, is it?

When I mentioned that話をしたら,

That person was really quite wise after all.

Thank you for understanding instantly.

I'm sorry.

There are people who want to take a break for health reasons.

それでも

Even so

Because there are people who want to do their best.

Please take care of that properly.

I need to do some hearing (listening).

The situation regarding support for child-rearing as well.

There are now quite a few nurseries.

I’m starting to feel okay.

I think there is.

Compared to the past, you know.

But it really differs from person to person.

I can only do what I think.

It's said to be called self-funded discrimination.

Things like that are really amazing, after all.

Even though I keep thinking about it.

There is also the possibility that they are just putting on a facade.

About that part.

深いです

It's deep.

It's deep, isn't it?

I won't specifically mention it, but...

Sunday morning might not be enough.

It would be better to use a different program.

It might be good.

I have to extend it until nighttime.

That's why there are things like that.

As I thought, this is it.

But this too.

It's about being under peer pressure, isn't it?

Because it's tough, right?

My wife has it tough too.

Thank you very much.

I can only think of doing my best.

It's like that, you know?

I had the opportunity to give a presentation the other day.

My subordinate that I am using.

It's really tough.

There's an incredibly talented woman.

Because the child is small.

Because I often have a fever.

Please take a break.

People around are being complained about.

I'm having a hard time being caught in the middle.

You said it like that, so...

When I asked how old that child is…

You said you're 5 years old.

Just two more years, huh?

In another two years.

When children start entering elementary school,

It becomes harder to get a fever.

It's just a few more years.

To those around you

It's just a few more years.

Let's all work hard together and support each other.

The president asked me to say it.

Then.

That president.

You asked if children don't get fevers once they turn 7 years old.

When I asked if you have children...

I have two sons.

Please make sure to thank your wife when you get home today.

When a child turns 7, they no longer get fevers.

Not knowing that you stop getting fevers when you turn 18.

Since you've come this far,

That is truly for your wife.

I would like you to apologize and express your gratitude.

You looked taken aback, didn't you?

Those who have such children

It seems that taking a break is not allowed.

This is also peer pressure, isn't it?

That's the kind of thing.

It's pre-bailing.

If it's spreading.

I think it's quite difficult.

子供は

The child is.

Children under 5 years old should have a fever.

It's my job to put it out.

Before going to work.

As much as reading a newspaper.

It's just when my parents are busy with work.

They say they will produce a fever.

Especially on important presentation days.

It feels like a fever.

I will go on a business trip too.

Three days ago, my child was admitted to the hospital.

I canceled the business trip.

It was tough, but...

It's a complete mess, isn't it?

I'm in a tizzy.

But when you overcome things like that...

It feels like it's gradually getting stronger.

In the future, you see.

Diversity is...

I want to move forward.

We on the investor side also...

After all, without diversity...

After all, a company can't take risks.

I think of it that way.

So, after all, without diversity...

It's not good.

For the growth of the company.

It might become negative.

There is such a thing.

Diversity in the workplace is

In the course of various conversations

To give one example,

What is the most important thing, I wonder?

Management.

The executives are responsible for the company's decision-making.

する方が

It is better to do.

I think it includes the Masiko executives as well.

We need to properly implement diversity.

The company is going to sink.

I think it is important to recognize from that time.

That is a fact.

それに

Moreover,

If you don't do it...

If you've come this far.

It's just that up until now, it's been lucky.

だけど

But

In the global context

Including the overwhelming decline.

The result of failure.

The essence of so-called failure.

The essence of failure.

In the form of a diversity edition.

The company has lost its competitiveness.

The fact that it exists there.

Thank you for recognizing it from the heart.

I suppose it's what you call human capital management.

As the population continues to decline.

How to do it?

How each person can increase their productivity.

そこには

There is/are.

I believe there is only D&I.

Recognize that.

It's not a matter for the HR department, is it?

It's a matter of management.

To recognize from the heart.

All the executives.

To make everything understood.

I think it might run out.

I'm recording here now.

On InterFM as well.

Next to us, there is a company called Wacoal.

What is Wacoal?

I shouldn't be the one to say this, but...

It's a brand of women's underwear.

Everyone in management.

It's a man, isn't it?

Why?

I also found it strange.

Like a female outside director.

It's a little strange to imagine, isn't it?

I wonder how they're dealing with that hassle.

I don’t know, though.

What kind of things are you imagining?

Is it about products?

I wonder if a discussion is taking place.

This month’s new products are kind of like that.

Of course, the voice from the field is...

A woman will suck it up.

That's something I judged based on that.

It might exist, but...

I think so.

This kind of thing is a bit...

From an investor's perspective, I would like to say that...

I always think it's interesting.

Investors are not necessarily

You don't have to invest in Japanese companies.

You don't have to invest in your company.

From the perspective of the capital markets.

How it looks.

It would also mean being more aware.

More than now.

It's a very important point.

That perspective definitely comes into play there.

The perspective regarding trading designation is

So the topic might change again, but...

After all, the significance of being listed, you know.

It's about listed companies.

Please think about that very carefully.

You don't have to hold this stock, you know.

From the perspective of an investor...

I would really like you to think about it.

I know you're considering it, but...

I think there's one more thing recently.

Before we invest as well

On job review sites, etc.

I am participating.

OpenWorks and so on.

There are times when that happens, but...

There it is after all.

Negative evaluations of people who are leaving.

I think it's quite common, but...

Even after removing that filter.

As expected.

There are various items.

Ease of working

Reason for quitting.

Suggestions for corporate management.

Information that has never existed before.

There are quite a lot of them.

Among them, after all...

Regarding the ease of working for women, etc.

It also mentions the career.

Incredibly interesting.

A company that is easy for women to work in.

For men as well

I think it's a company that is easy to work for.

I think there is no doubt about it.

Recently, after all.

While properly engaging with the family

I think you want to go ahead with it.

It's not just women after all.

A company that is easy for women to work at.

A company that is easy for everyone to work at.

I think there may be such a point.

I am definitely listening to this radio.

To management as well.

I would like to have diversity.

DNA

DNA

You need to be conscious about it.

Your company is in danger.

I think that's probably what it is.

Especially, it's hard to gather talent, isn't it?

It's not gathering, is it?

Especially, people really aren't gathering anymore.

I would like to ask Mr. Murayama something.

In the so-called 1980s.

At that time, in general office administrative positions

From there to the foreign-affiliated company.

Even becoming an MD.

I think you have really diverse experiences.

At that time, it was indeed from what is called a male-dominated society.

はい

Yes

How do we overcome this?

"Have you managed to survive?"

Well, after all, I have to say...

Aside from ability

Physical strength differs between men and women, right?

Hey.

Even if I want to work more, after all...

I wonder if there were any limits.

But you know, it's said that I don't have as much physical strength compared to men.

It is often said, but generally speaking, that's how it is.

There are plenty of boys with less stamina than me.

Well, it's not that I have a lot of stamina or anything.

That's amazing!

You are very delicate.

Thank you.

There is an amazing Goldman there.

I'm wondering how Goldman Sachs will perform in 2022.

I knew it, but Goldman...

Everyone is amazing.

It may be thought of as a very strict company.

I don't know about Goldman right now.

I quit nearly 10 years ago too.

But very

I knew it, I should change jobs and go to Goldman.

What surprised me was that it was a company that really helped each other.

After all, it is a very tough company.

Because it is a demanding company.

It seems like everyone understands that you can't fight alone.

Get help.

"When I sought it, the surroundings truly..."

They help me in a give-and-take manner.

When you go to a tough place on the battlefield, everyone helps each other, right?

There was definitely that kind of feeling.

Also, I guess it's in the form of survival skills.

If I understand it as a question, then...

Especially when you are still young.

"This is something I won't lose in."

If you have one, then...

If you aim to be someone who stands out to the people around you...

Sexual harassment will also decrease.

Something that this person cannot achieve.

That's right, even just one thing is fine.

I’m not saying you have to become the top salesperson there.

I think that would be very nice.

This is in a way that makes this person seem amazing.

First, we'll solidify our footing.

It becomes relatively easier to go.

To become a presence that is respected at first glance.

Mizami is nodding a lot.

There are places where (this is the case).

Well, after all...

This is something I say including my own reflection.

I knew it, it was all crunchy.

In my thirties,

Mr. Murayama.

I haven't really been hard on my subordinates.

I was using harsh words towards my colleagues.

After all, what I've learned through various experiences is

It's not a give-and-take, but...

Especially, being friendly with the neighbors.

People who sit nearby in the office.

Especially since we're getting along well.

Since I've become a bit more important.

Since becoming an MD

We regularly hold a neighborhood gathering.

Just simply with the people sitting close by.

Sometimes we can have lunch together.

Doing things like that.

We definitely have to help each other out.

The more difficult the place.

The more difficult the place is,

I think I won't be able to live.

"I will help myself too."

I'll ask for help if something happens.

That's why everyday communication is really important.

The fact that the child has a fever.

There were various things that happened, but...

Everyone around us knows our child's name.

Like knowing or something.

I heard that there was an entrance ceremony for the nursery school.

When I happily talk during the neighborhood association meeting,

It seems that Murayama has small children right now.

There are some areas where you recognize it to some extent.

It may be sweet, but...

By helping each other and communicating regularly...

When you become friendly like that,

I think it will become harder to engage in things like sexual harassment or power harassment.

She's an amazing career woman.

When I think about whether I have lived strongly myself.

It's not that; rather, properly consider your surroundings.

I couldn't live without relying on the strength of those around me.

It is there.

So when I was in America and in New York,

I also work for an American brokerage firm.

If the performance is not good every year,

There is a risk of getting fired, you know.

Of course, that stress will also come from getting fired.

There are concerns that I might not be able to make a living.

When I was in New York, the level of those around me was...

Already outrageous.

I went from the Tokyo office in Japan to the New York office.

I'm really amazed at that level of excellence.

At that time, I took some actions.

I have started putting photos of my child on my desk.

If you fire me, these kids will...

視点が

Perspective is

If you get rid of me, it won't just be me.

"My family feels lost like I'm on the streets."

はい

Yes.

If not, quite a few securities companies...

I worked at a securities company for 13 years.

When I first joined, it was during the Lehman era.

It was during the Lehman Brothers crisis.

For example, the person who was next to me suddenly disappeared.

When I asked my boss at that time, "Where did this person go?"

"Well, I was told that they're never coming back for the rest of their life."

I thought it might be tough, so I definitely think it was a challenging workplace.

It's a certain kind of survival technique.

I thought that not isolating oneself might be a possibility precisely because it's a tough workplace.

There’s a ranking of analysts when it comes to analysts.

It will be released at the beginning of the year.

Before that ranking was announced, I was really anxious for about a month and it was truly nerve-wracking.

There was a mention of being in a bad mood, but...

It seems like things will only get worse gradually.

But there was a time when I was still feeling impatient.

I truly feel sorry for the people around me at that time.

After that, I learned about myself and organized a neighborhood association.

I have also treated the people around me to lunch.

While doing such things.

Before I knew it, it's been 22 years.

At the place where I was.

I think it's amazing.

I will survive in the securities company for 20 years.

But they really aren't here.

Really not here.

It's really about the engagement between companies.

The company is very supportive of child-rearing.

To working mothers.

They really helped me in various ways.

Because you helped me.

That's one reason why I didn't quit.

Now, as an analyst.

Well, I was a somewhat decent ranking analyst.

I have also received invitations from other companies.

Going to another company now is too late.

Rather than starting over from scratch.

While receiving support from everyone here.

It's better to work.

Whether they will really support me in the same way or not.

I don't understand, so...

In that regard, the company is indeed...

Properly addressing working mothers like that.

Various allowances

Please don't make any distinctions based on personal expense.

You took care of me.

For the support you have provided.

I have a strong loyalty to the company.

I felt something like that.

I did not respond to any invitations from competing companies.

There is also that.

This is the last question.

I would like to ask a question.

You are currently serving as an outside director.

今後も

From now on

Various companies'

From outside the board of directors.

As a participating outside director,

I want to achieve this in the future.

Your own appearance, etc.

Is there?

When I first started job hunting

second time

During the study abroad meeting as well.

That's how it was, but...

It's really about women's careers, too.

In a way that seems impossible.

I felt really sad.

At that time

But still, I have to really put in the effort myself.

My daughter

I don't want to feel the same way.

I didn't give birth to a daughter, but...

The next generation.

I guess I have to do it properly.

I'm thinking that this country is also difficult.

I can't exactly become the president of the company myself starting now.

I'm not going.

In some way, something like that.

Next-generation women

Women, etc.

Not just women.

Working people

If I were to have my own experience

If it is helpful.

In various forms.

As soon as you send it out.

As soon as we start talking.

As an outside director, don't bark.

Including that.

To change the situation even just a little.

I hope I can be of help.

I think in that way.

Definitely at the board of directors meeting.

Please bark.

I would like to ask you to say something.

思っています

I think so.

I am against it.

I'll go ahead and say it.

But such a thing...

For example, the barking side properly.

The company that hires you needs to continue to exist, right?

Influnia Holdings

Rice curry

True Data

But the activist is...

You have to keep saying it more and more, don't you?

Not just in form, and not just in numbers.

Someone who can express their opinions properly.

I have to put it in.

These companies and so on.

The company I am involved with.

It's not just about increasing external contacts.

There really isn't any.

On the executive side

Minority

Minorities, including women,

As the ratio increases.

So then,

Like now

There are no women on the board of directors.

It's tough.

Can we add another company to the concurrent positions?

Things like that are happening all over the place.

I don't think this is a good thing.

I

I have so many candidates that I'm wondering which one to choose.

It is an ideal figure.

But it hasn't grown that much yet.

But they're growing up really well now.

After all, even among large companies.

Women are properly rising to the top.

I do see people like that.

Such as female CEOs of ventures.

There are really many outstanding people.

There are still people who are recruiting now.

Really excellent.

While thinking it's amazing.

I am here, but...

People like this are gradually increasing.

As the world progresses.

I guess a lot of things will change.

"I think so."

I think the level of happiness will also increase.

The children have finally become high school students.

Finally appreciated as a university student.

That day will surely come.

If you can't make character bento without giving up...

That has nothing to do with it at all.

I want you to hang in there and do your best.
