오늘이 벌써 세월호 참사 5주기가 됐어요.

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry disaster.

언제 이렇게 시간이 흘렀나 싶기도 하면서도 5년이나 흘렀는데 아직까지도 우리가 5년 전과 똑같이 진상규명과 책임자 처벌을 똑같은 얘기를 하고 있어야만 하는 것이 참 답답하기도 하고요.

Sometimes I wonder how time has flown by like this, and even though five years have passed, it is truly frustrating that we still have to talk about the same issues of uncovering the truth and holding those responsible accountable, just as we did five years ago.

그동안 왜 이렇게까지 이뤄지지 못했을까.

Why has it taken so long to achieve this?

이런 안타까움을 거듭 더 느끼게 되는 그런 날입니다.

Today is a day that makes me feel this disappointment even more.

지금 세월호 참사 5주기를 맞아서 곳곳에서 추모의 목소리들이 전해져 오고 있어요.

As we mark the 5th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry tragedy, voices of remembrance are being heard from various places.

국내에서는 물론이고 당연하고요.

It's of course true not only in the country but everywhere.

세계적으로도 수백 명의 그야말로 생태같은 목숨을 앗아간 끔찍한 참사에 대해서 안타까움과 추모의 뜻을 전하고 있습니다.

We express our condolences and mourning for the horrific tragedy that has claimed the lives of hundreds, truly like an ecosystem, around the world.

정말 갑작스런 참사로

한 날 한 시에 그렇게 처참하게 목숨을 잃었다는데

정말로 그런데 참 우리 국민들이 저부터도 그렇지만

그때 그 뉴스를 보면서 생방송으로 생중계가 됐잖아요.

그런데도 구조하지도 못하고 거기서 그냥 뱅뱅 돌기만 하던

아직도 기억이 나고 그때 그 공포와 충격 분노 이런 것들이

그때 한 며칠을 거의 한 달 내내 그 공포를 이겨내기가 너무나도 어려웠던

어제 보고서 아마 많은 분들이 분노를 감추지 못하셨을 것 같아요.

여기서 세월호 유가족들을 향해서 자식의 죽음에 대한 세간의 동병상련을

They spouted off harsh words.

이 말뿐만이 아니고요.

긴 말에 긴 글에 정말 조목조목 막말을 어떻게 인간이 이런 어떤 입이길래 이런 얘기를 할 수 있을까 싶을 정도로

It's hard to believe how a person could make such harsh statements in such a long discourse and lengthy writing.

정말 막말을 한 글자도 빼먹지 않고 다 막말을 쏟아냈습니다.

They really spilled out all the harsh words without leaving out a single letter.

뭐라고 했냐면요.

개인당 10억의 보상금을 받아 이걸로 이 나라 학생들 안전사고 대비용 기부를 했다는 얘기는 못 들었다.

I haven't heard that they received 1 billion won in compensation per person and donated it to ensure the safety of students in this country.

귀하디 귀한 사회적 눈물비용을 개인용으로 다 쌈 싸먹었다.

You have selfishly consumed the precious social resources of tears for personal use.

이러면 죽은 자식 아파할까 겁나서라도 그 돈 못 쪼개겠다.

I can't bring myself to divide that money, even if I'm afraid that my deceased child will be hurt by it.

이자들의 욕망이 여기서 멈추지 않는다.

The desire of the borrowers does not stop here.

세월호 사건과 아무 연관 없는 박근혜 황교안에게 자식들 죽음에 대한 자기들 책임과 죄의식을 전가하려 하고 있다.

They are trying to shift the responsibility and guilt for their children's deaths onto Park Geun-hye and Hwang Kyo-ahn, who have no connection to the Sewol Ferry incident.

보통 상식인이라면 내 탓이요 내 탓이요 할 텐데 이자들은 원래 그런 건지 아니면 좌빨한테 세뇌당해서인지 전혀 상관없는 남 탓으로 돌려 자기 죄의식을 털어버리려는 마녀사냥 기법을 발휘하고 있다.

Normally, a person with common sense would take the blame, but these individuals either inherently behave this way or have been brainwashed by leftist ideologies, as they completely shift the blame to others to rid themselves of guilt, employing a witch-hunt tactic.

애멀 사람에게 죄 뒤집어 씌우는 마녀사냥은 사회를 병들게 하고 해당자를 죽이는 인격살인이다.

Witch hunts that falsely accuse individuals poison society and constitute character assassination that kills the person involved.

책임자를 처벌해 달라 이런건요 굳이 세월호가 아니어도 다른 모든 참사들 무슨 사건들 누가 사람 한명만 죽어도

그만큼 이분들이 막말로라도 가리고 싶어하는게 있는 것 아니냐 이런 의심을 할 수 밖에 없는 겁니다

That’s why we can’t help but doubt that there’s something they want to hide, even if it’s just through blunt speech.

실제로 우리가 차전의원 아까 막말 얘기를 잘 한번 살펴보세요

In fact, take a good look at the remarks made by the members of the National Assembly earlier regarding the car tax.

세월호 사건과 아무 연관없는 박근혜 황교안에게 자식들 죽음에 대한 자기들 책임과 죄의식을 전가하려고 하고 있다

They are trying to shift their responsibility and guilt about the deaths of their children onto Park Geun-hye and Hwang Kyo-ahn, who have nothing to do with the Sewol ferry incident.

이러잖아요 아니 세월호 참사를 두고 부모들에게 구조하지 않은 정부 탓을 하지 말고

"Don't blame the government for not rescuing the parents regarding the Sewol Ferry disaster."

거기 거기를 보낸 자기들 탓을 하라고 이런 생각을 어떻게 할 수 있는 걸까요

How can one think like this, to blame themselves for sending it there?

어떤 사고방식 뇌구조가 어떻게 됐으면 이런 생각을 할 수 있죠

What kind of mindset or brain structure would allow someone to have such thoughts?

세월호 참사로 아이를 잃은 부모에게 니 탓해라 니 잘못이다 이런 얘기를 하는 이런 아니 본인도 자식이 있으실텐데

To the parents who lost their children in the Sewol ferry disaster, saying things like "It's your fault" or "It's your mistake" is unacceptable, especially since they themselves must have children too.

어떻게 이런 얘기를 하실 수가 있는지 이런 정말 가히 상상을 초월하는 훈수가 대체 무슨 뜻이겠냐

How can you say something like this? What on earth could such an utterly unimaginable piece of advice possibly mean?

어떤 진위를 담고 있겠냐 다시는 다 앞뒤 떼놓고 보면 어떻게든 박근혜 황교안만은 지켜야 한다

What truth could it possibly contain? When you look at it all again, somehow, Park Geun-hye and Hwang Kyo-ahn must be protected.
