에베소서 1:7-12"속량 곧 죄사함을 받았느니라"

오늘 우리에게 주시는 하나님 말씀은 에베소서 1장 7절에서 12절입니다.

Today's word from God for us is Ephesians 1:7-12.

우리는 그리스도 안에서 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 피로 말미암아, 속량, 곧 죄사함을 받았느니라.

In Christ, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the richness of His grace.

이는 그가 모든 지혜와 청명을 우리에게 넘치게 하사, 그 뜻의 비밀을 우리에게 알리신 것이요.

This is that He has abundantly granted us all wisdom and insight to make known to us the mystery of His will.

그의 기뻐하심을 따라 그리스도 안에서 때가 찬 격린을 위하여 예정하신 것이니,

It is according to His pleasure that He has predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, at the right time.

하늘에 있는 것이나 땅에 있는 것이 다 그리스도 안에서 통일되게 하려 하심이라.

He has intended to unite all things in heaven and on earth in Christ.

모든 일을 그의 뜻의 결정대로 일하시는 이의 계획을 따라 우리가 예정을 입어 그 안에서 기업이 되었으니,

"According to the plan of Him who works all things after the counsel of His will, we have been destined to be His inheritance."

이는 우리가 그리스도 안에서 전부터 바라던 그의 영광의 찬송이 되게 하려 하심이라.

This is in order that we may be the praise of his glory, who hoped in Christ before.

사도 바울이 비록 몸은 옥에 갇혀 있지만 그곳에서 삼위일체 하나님의 역사심에 대해서 단숨에 써내려가는 벅찬 감격이 고스란히 느껴집니다

Although the Apostle Paul is imprisoned in body, the overwhelming emotion of fervently writing about the work of the Triune God there is felt vividly.

우리가 어떻게 하나님의 자녀가 되었을까요?

How did we become children of God?

하나님의 자녀가 될 수 있었는지 우리의 구원의 과정은 어떻게 이루어졌는지

How we were able to become children of God and how our process of salvation came about.

또 우리가 얻은 구원을 어떻게 보증해 주시는지에 대해서 증거합니다

And we bear witness to how you guarantee the salvation we have received.

3절에서 6절은 우리를 하나님의 자녀로 삼아 주시기 위해서 성부 하나님께서 행하신 일에 대해서 증거하는데

Verses 3 to 6 testify to the work that God the Father has done to make us His children.

하나님께서는 우리에게 그리스도 안에 있는 모든 복과

God has given us all blessings in Christ.

하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복을 주셨고 세상이 지어지기도 전에 우리를 택해 주셨으며

He has given us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms and chose us before the foundation of the world.

우리를 예정하셔서 하나님의 자녀가 되게 하셨을 뿐만 아니라 이 모든 것을 거져 주셨다고 하십니다

He not only predestined us to be children of God, but also says that He has freely given us all these things.

그리고 본문 7절에서 12절은 우리의 구원을 위해 성자 하나님께서 행하신 일에 대해 증거합니다

And verses 7 to 12 of the text bear witness to the work that the Son of God has done for our salvation.

오늘 본문 7절이 이렇게 증거합니다

Today's text testifies in verse 7 like this.

우리는 그리스도 안에서 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 피로 말미암아 속량 곧 죄사함을 받았느니라

In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

사도 바울은 우리에게 하나님의 은혜의 풍성함이 베풀어졌다고 말합니다

The Apostle Paul tells us that the abundance of God's grace has been bestowed upon us.

바울이 이렇게 자신있게 말할 수 있는 근거는

The reason Paul can speak so confidently is

자기 자신이 그 누구보다도 하나님의 은혜가 되었다고 말합니다

He says that he has become God's grace more than anyone else.

하나님의 풍성한 은혜를 경험했기 때문입니다

Because I have experienced God's abundant grace.

예수 그리스도와 그분의 가르침 그리고 그분을 따르는 사람들에 대해서 그렇게 적대적이었던 자신이

How I have been so hostile towards Jesus Christ, His teachings, and those who follow Him.

그분과 그분의 말씀을 전하는 사도가 되었다는 것보다

Rather than being the one who became an apostle conveying Him and His words

하나님의 은혜의 풍성함을 보여주는 더 나은 샘플이 없기 때문입니다

Because there is no better example that shows the abundance of God's grace.

또한 히브리스 시인은

Additionally, the author of Hebrews

11장은 구약 성경에 나오는 믿음의 사람들을 기록한 믿음의 전당이라 불립니다

Chapter 11 is called the Hall of Faith, which records the faithful people found in the Old Testament.

거기에 모세에 대해 기록하기를

It is written there about Moses.

그는 바로의 궁주의 아들이라 칭함받는 것을 거절했고

사실 우리가 출애국기를 통해서 아는 바와 같이

As we know through the book of Exodus,

모세는 어떤 애국사람이 동족 히브리 사람을 때리는 것을 보고

Moses saw an Egyptian beating a fellow Hebrew.

그 애국사람을 죽여서 모래 속에 감추었고

I killed that patriot and buried him in the sand.

후에 그 사실이 발각되어서 바로왕이 모세를 죽이려고 하였고

Later, when that fact was discovered, King Pharaoh tried to kill Moses.

하자 몰래 미대안으로 도망을 갔습니다

I secretly ran away to the art university.

그럼에도 히브리스 기자가 모세에 대해서 이렇게 쓴 것은

Nevertheless, the author of Hebrews wrote about Moses like this because...

모세가 80세에 하나님의 부름을 받아서 120세가 될 때까지 순종했기 때문에

Because Moses obeyed the call of God at the age of 80 and continued to do so until he was 120 years old.

하나님께서 모세가 이러하였다고 받아주셨기 때문일 것이라고 말씀드렸습니다

I said that it is likely because God accepted what Moses had said.

이처럼 하나님은 진실로 은혜를 풍성하게 베푸시는 데에

In this way, God truly bestows an abundance of grace.

모세와 관련하여 하나님의 은혜의 풍성함을 확인할 수 있는

You can confirm the abundance of God's grace in relation to Moses.

또 다른 장면이 있습니다

There is another scene.

애국에서 400년 동안 노예살이를 했던 이스라엘 자손이

The descendants of Israel who were enslaved in Egypt for 400 years.

모세의 인도로 마침내 출애국을 하게 됩니다

With Moses' guidance, they finally make their exodus.

그 사건은 이스라엘 자손이 결코 잊을 수 없고

That incident is something the children of Israel can never forget.

또한 결코 잊힐 수도 없는

Moreover, it can never be forgotten.

최고, 최대, 최상의 사건입니다

It is the best, maximum, and highest event.

그래서 구약성경 곳곳에 출애국 사건을 말할 때

So, whenever the Exodus event is mentioned throughout the Old Testament,

하나님께서 강한 손과 편팔로 너를

God will strengthen you with His mighty hand and outstretched arm.

즉 이스라엘을 거기서 인도하셨다고 말합니다

In other words, it says that He led Israel out from there.

하나님의 손과 팔은 천지만물을 지으시고 운행하시는

The hand and arm of God create and govern all things.

창조주의 손과 팔입니다

It is the hand and arm of the creator.

이스라엘 자손이 홍해를 걷는 후에

After the Israelites walked through the Red Sea

한 목소리로 하나님을 향해서 들인 노래가

A song offered to God with one voice.

출애국기 15장 1절에서 18절에 나옵니다

It appears in Exodus 15:1-18.

그 중에서 1절이 이를 합니다

Among them, the first verse does this.

이때에 모세와 이스라엘 자손이 이 노래로 요아께 노래하니

At that time, Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord.

일러서 돼 내가 요호와를 찬송하리니

I will praise the Lord.

이때에는 두말할 필요도 없이 하나님의 은혜와 역사로

이스라엘 자손은 홍해를 건너고

애국의 군대는 수장된 그때를 가리킵니다

The army of patriotism points to the time of its demise.

이스라엘 자손은 홍해를 건너며 장음한 하나님의 역사를 목격했습니다

The children of Israel witnessed the great work of God as they crossed the Red Sea.

그래서 지금 이 노래를 부르며

내가 요호와를 찬송하리니 라며 1인칭으로 표현합니다

이 노래는 모세가 선창을 하고

지금 경험한 하나님의 역사는 이스라엘 자손 각자가 경험한 것이고

The work of God that I am experiencing now is something that each of the children of Israel has experienced.

그래서 각 사람이 부르는 것과 같다는 것입니다

So it means that it's the same as what each person sings.

그런데 그렇게 온 이스라엘 자손이

But all the children of Israel who came like that

감격적으로 하나님을 향해 노래를 불렀음에도

Despite singing passionately towards God,

뒤이어서 미리암과 여인들이 또 노래를 불렀습니다

Then Miriam and the women sang again.

추레국기 15장 19절에서 21절입니다

Exodus 15:19-21.

바로의 말과 병거와 마병이 함께 바다에 들어가며

As soon as the word was given, the chariots and horsemen entered the sea together.

요호와께서 바닷물을 그들 위에 되돌려 흐르게 하셨으나

The Lord caused the sea to flow back over them.

이스라엘 자손은 바다 가운데서 마른 땅으로 지나갔고

The children of Israel passed through the dry land in the midst of the sea.

아론의 누이 선지자 미리암이 손에 소고를 잡으며

Aaron's sister, the prophet Miriam, took a tambourine in her hand.

모든 여인도 그를 따라 나오며 소고를 잡고 춤추니

All the women followed him, holding small drums and dancing.

Miriam answered them, saying, "Sing to the LORD."

혹 앞에 부른 하나님께 드리는 노래 중에 빠진 것이 있었기 때문일까를 생각해 보지만

I wonder if it's because there was something missing from the song dedicated to God that was sung earlier.

두 노래가 같은 내용입니다

The two songs have the same content.

이 노래를 부른 이유는 출애굽의 사건이

The reason for singing this song is the event of the Exodus.

미리암에게 더욱 감격적이었을 것입니다

구원의 역사는 언제나 개인적인 사건입니다

The history of salvation is always a personal event.

내게 임하지 않은 다른 사람의 구원사건은 내게는 아무런 의미가 없습니다

모세에게는 세 살 터울의 형 아론이 있고

Moses had an older brother, Aaron, who was three years his senior.

그 위가 미리암이었습니다

모세가 태어났을 때는 바로왕의 명령으로

When Moses was born, it was by the command of Pharaoh.

이스라엘 자손의 남한은 무조건 나일강에 던져 죽여야 했습니다

The male children of the Israelites had to be thrown into the Nile River and killed without exception.

모세는 3개월 동안은 집에서 몰래 양육되었다가

Moses was secretly raised at home for three months before.

갈대상자에 담겨 나일강 강가 갈대 사이에 놓였습니다

It was placed among the reeds by the Nile River in a basket made of reeds.

그 갈대상자 속에 젖먹이 모세를 바로왕의 딸이 양육하게 되었는데

The baby Moses was raised by the daughter of Pharaoh from inside the reed basket.

미리암은 동생 모세의 일생에 대해서 잘 알고 있습니다

Moses could not live outside of his house for more than three months after he was born.

그리고 자라기는 엄마의 젖을 먹고

And growing up, I drank my mother's milk.

엄마의 품에

In mom's embrace.

그래서 자랐지만 사람들 앞에서는 엄마를 엄마라고 부르지 못하고

So I grew up, but I couldn't call my mom 'mom' in front of others.

유모라고 불러야 했습니다

I had to call you a nanny.

사실 자신과 아무런 상관이 없는 바로왕의 딸을 엄마라고 불러야 했습니다

His eldest son's name is Gershom, which means "foreigner."

이방 땅에서 정창민이 아니라 나그네로 사는 모습을 단적으로 보여줍니다

모든 사람이 모세를 잊고

Everyone forgets Moses.

하나님께서 그 동생을 불러주셨습니다

God has called that brother.

그리고 이스라엘 자손을 출애굽하게 하는 엄청난 역사의 통로로 사용해 주셨습니다

And You used it as an amazing means to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt.

그것을 바라보는 누나의 마음이 어떠했겠습니까

What do you think the older sister's feelings were while looking at that?

미리암의 노래에는 그 마음이 진하게 느껴집니다

Miriam's song deeply conveys that feeling.

여러분 여호와 하나님을 찬송하십시오

Praise the Lord God, everyone.

그는 높고 영화로우신 분이십니다

He is a tall and noble person.

말과 그 탄자를 바다에 던지셨습니다

He threw the words and their riders into the sea.

내 동생을 다시 부르신 하나님은 금휼이 풍성하신 분이십니다

God, who called my brother again, is someone filled with great mercy.

하나님은 당신들에게도 충분히 풍성하십니다

God is abundantly sufficient for you as well.

하나님의 은혜에 풍성함을 잘 보여주는 또 다른 예는

Another example that beautifully showcases the abundance of God's grace is

누가복음 15장에 나오는 집을 나간 둘째 아들을 되찾은 아버지의 비유입니다

This is the parable of the father who regained his younger son who left home, as mentioned in Luke chapter 15.

둘째 아들은 아버지가 살아있을 때는 결코 요구할 수 없는

The second son is something that could never be demanded while the father is alive.

자신에게 돌아올 분깃 즉 유산을 미리 받아서

Receiving one's share, that is, inheritance, in advance.

먼 나라로 가서 거기서 하십시오

Go to a faraway country and do it there.

허랑방탕하여 그 재산을 모두 낭비하고 말았습니다

He lived a wild and extravagant lifestyle and ended up wasting all his wealth.

우리가 하나님을 떠나서 자기 왕국에서 사는 삶은

The life of living in one's own kingdom after departing from God is

모두 먼 나라에서 사는 것과 같습니다

It's like everyone lives in a faraway country.

거기서는 하나님의 인도하심과 하나님의 은총 베푸심에 따라서 사는 것이 아니라

It is not about living according to God's guidance and God's grace there.

자기가 모든 것을 다 책임져야 하기 때문입니다

Because one has to take responsibility for everything.

또한 하나님은

Furthermore, God

하나님 아버지를 떠난 삶은 모두 다 허랑방탕입니다

A life that has left God the Father is all frivolous and wasteful.

하나님 아버지를 떠나서 살아 설령 아무리 많은 것을 가지게 되어 그것을 누려도

Even if I live apart from God the Father and possess many things to enjoy,

또 엄청난 업적을 이루어 사람들의 부러움을 받을지라도

Even if they achieve tremendous accomplishments and become the envy of others.

그 삶은 허랑방탕입니다

That life is reckless and dissipated.

혹 그런 삶을 사는 사람이 나는 누구보다도 성실하게 살았다

집을 나간 둘째 아들이

The second son who left home

허랑방탕하게 살다가

Living a reckless and indulgent life

빈틀터리로 신발도

Shoes made from an empty bottle.

신지 않고 집으로 돌아왔을 때

When I returned home without realizing it.

아버지가 그 아들을

The father is that son.

본래의 상태로

To its original state.

회복시켜 주었듯이

As you restored it.

하나님 아버지는 우리에게

God the Father gives us

그와 같은 분이심을

He is such a person.

잊지 않게 하여 주시옵소서

Please help me not to forget.

무엇보다도

Above all.

우리의 영원한 고엘이 되시는

Our eternal Goel.

주님을 향해

Towards the Lord

우리의 창문을 열게 하시고

Let us open our windows.

우리가 주님의 풍성한 은혜를 받은

We have received the abundant grace of the Lord.

사람답게 살아가게 하여 주시옵소서

Please grant us the ability to live like human beings.

누군가가 우리를 섬겨 주므로

Because someone serves us.

우리가 주님의 성량을 받은 사람인 것을

That we are people who have received the grace of the Lord.

믿게 되었다면

If you have come to believe.

이제는

Now

그 통로의 역할을

The role of that passage.

우리가 감당하게 하여 주시옵소서

Please allow us to bear it.

한순간이라도

Even for a moment.

우리가 하나님의 풍성한 은혜의

The abundant grace of God.

종착역이 되려고 하지 않게 하여 주시옵소서

Please do not let it become the final destination.

우리가 진정으로

We are truly

주님의 은혜의 통로

The channel of the Lord's grace.

은혜의 정거장이 되게 하여 주시옵소서

May it become a station of grace.
