개시록 22장 같이 보겠습니다.

Let's take a look at Revelation chapter 22.

이제 새하늘 새 땅 그리고 그 찬란한 황금성 예루살렘

Now the new heaven, new earth, and the glorious golden city Jerusalem.

열두 진주문 열두 지파 또 열두 사도들의 이름이 기록되어 있는

The twelve gates of pearls, the names of the twelve tribes, and the names of the twelve apostles are recorded.

열두 기초석이 있는 열두 문이 있고 열두 기초석이 있는 성 예루살렘

There are twelve gates with twelve foundations, and the holy Jerusalem with twelve foundations.

신부가 신랑을 위하여 탐정한 것처럼 그렇게 아름답고 그렇게 영광스럽고

Just like the bride investigated for the groom, so beautiful and so glorious.

그렇게 정말 기막힌 세계가 전개되고 있습니다.

A truly astonishing world is unfolding like that.

여러분 신앙이라고 하는 것은 날마다 이러한 환상 가운데 사는 거예요.

Everyone, faith is living in this kind of illusion every day.

순교자들이 어떻게 순교했을까요? 이것이 있기 때문에 순교한 거예요.

How did the martyrs die? They died because of this.

초대교인들이 로마의 내로의 핏박에 끌려서 사자 이빨 속에서

The early Christians were caught in the teeth of lions due to the persecution of Nero in Rome.

짐승들 앞에서 잡혀주고 가고

Captured and taken away before the beasts.

십자가에서

On the cross

짐나무로 화형식을 당한 불꽃이 그 사람의 몸을 손속 익혀갈 때

As the flames from the pyre made of the wooden cart lick at the person's body, they begin to grow accustomed to the heat.

그리고 머리와 온몸을 다 그슬리고 태워갈 때 그들이 찬성을 불렀습니다.

And as they burned and scorched their heads and entire bodies, they sang hymns.

무서운 이리떼 사자떼들이 집어삼키려고 할 때도 그들은 예수 그리스도를 부인하지 아니하고

Even when the terrifying wolf packs and lion herds try to swallow them, they do not deny Jesus Christ.

그 온몸이 찢기는 잔인한 소염 가운데도 그들은 찬성을 불렀어요.

Amid the brutal agony of their bodies being torn apart, they sang in approval.

왜 어떻게 이런 게 가능할까요?

How is this even possible?

스테반은 돌에 맞아서 죽으면서 얼굴이 천사의 얼굴처럼 핏투성이가 되어야 해요.

Stephan must be hit by stones and die with his face covered in blood, like an angel's face.

머리가 깨지고 얼굴이 깨지고 온몸이 핏투성이가 되어야 해요.

You need to have your head broken, your face broken, and your whole body covered in blood.

왜 그런 게 가능할까요? 어떻게 포기할 수 있을까요?

Why is that possible? How can one give up?

어떻게 그 무서운 박해를 다 이겨낼 수가 있었을까요?

How could we possibly overcome such terrifying persecution?

아무것도 없는 허업을 판에서 그들은 어떻게 농사를 다시 지을 수 있었을까요?

How were they able to farm again on the barren land where nothing existed?

그들은 어떻게 다시 집을 지을 수가 있었을까요?

How were they able to rebuild their home?

하나님 그 한 분.

God, the one and only.

이 이러한 환상.

This such fantasy.

그래서 이 게시록의 말씀을 읽는 자와 듣는 자와 이 말씀을 지키는 자는 복이 또다 이렇게 말했어요.

Therefore, it is said that those who read, hear, and keep the words of this prophecy are blessed.

우리의 신앙생활에 왜 절망이 있을까요? 왜 낙심이 있을까요?

Why is there despair in our faith life? Why is there discouragement?

이런 환상이 약할 때 고난이 커보입니다.

When such illusions are weak, hardships appear greater.

이 환상과 고난이 있는데 믿음이 커지면 고난이 작아져요.

There is this fantasy and suffering, but as faith grows, suffering decreases.

고통이 작아지면. 믿음이 작아지면 자꾸 고통이 커보입니다.

When the pain diminishes, and faith diminishes, the pain seems to grow larger.

환상이 커보입니다. 위기가 커보입니다.

The illusion seems big. The crisis seems big.

나는 여러분의 마음의 세상을 이길 수 있는 믿음이 있기를 추구합니다.

I hope you have the faith to overcome the world of your hearts.

하나님이 크고 믿음이 크면

If God is great and faith is great.

예루살렘에 대한 환상.

A vision of Jerusalem.

새하늘과 새 땅에 대한 이 환상이 커지면

As this vision of the new heaven and new earth grows.

어떤 위기도

Any crisis.

어떤 어려움도

Any difficulty

어떤 낙심도

Any disappointment

다 이겨낼 수 있어요.

You can overcome it all.

이겨내야 돼요.

We have to overcome it.

그래서 이기고 이기리라.

So I will win and continue to win.

이기는 자는 이런 축복이 있으리라.

The victor shall receive such blessings.

게시록에 계속해서 주제곡처럼 반복되는 자는 견디고 이기라.

Those who continue to repeat like a theme song in the Revelation, endure and overcome.

이 시간을 보내라.

Spend this time.

밤을 보내라.

Spend the night.

이 캄캄한 밤이 오면 그 시간은 밤하고 싸울 순 없어요.

When this dark night comes, that time cannot fight against the night.

밤은 지나가야 돼요.

The night has to pass.

새벽이 오는 거예요.

The dawn is coming.

이걸 견뎌야 돼요.

You have to endure this.

기다려야 돼요. 이겨야 돼요.

You have to wait. You have to win.

이 처녀가 등불을 들고 밤을 새도록 기다렸단 말이죠.

This maiden stood with a lantern and waited through the night.

이게 게시록입니다.

This is Revelation.

여러분 앞으로 이 환란시대를 이길 수 있는 비결은 성령이에요.

The secret to overcoming this era of tribulation is the Holy Spirit.

환란시대를 이길 수 있는 비결은 바로 이러한 믿음입니다.

The secret to overcoming the times of adversity is precisely this kind of faith.

여러분 앞으로 이 환란시대를 이길 수 있는 비결은 성령이에요.

The secret to overcoming this age of tribulation in the future is the Holy Spirit.

환란시대를 이길 수 있는 비결은 바로 이러한 믿음입니다.

The key to overcoming the era of calamity is precisely this kind of faith.

이런 믿음, 이런 환상, 이런 영적인 충만함.

Such faith, such illusion, such spiritual fullness.

이 영적인 충만, 충만이라는 것은 비움에서부터 시작돼요.

This spiritual fullness, the fullness, begins from emptiness.

비우지 않는 사람은 충만해지지 않아요.

A person who doesn't empty themselves cannot be filled.

그리스도는 자기를 비우셨어요. 비움.

Christ emptied Himself. Emptiness.

정말 그리스도 안에서 모든 것을 포기하고 비울 때 하나님의 충만으로 가득 차게 되는 것입니다.

It is when we truly give up and empty ourselves within Christ that we become filled with God's fullness.

하나님의 충만으로 가득 차게 되는 것입니다.

It will be filled with the fullness of God.

이제 오늘 우리는 이 게시록 22장

Now today we are in Revelation chapter 22.

마지막 성경의 완성, 클라이막스가 어떻게 이루어지는가를 보겠습니다.

We will see how the final completion of the Bible and the climax are achieved.

혼인잔치가 있어야 이 클라이막스가 있는 거예요.

There needs to be a wedding feast for this climax to happen.

혼인잔치에는 혼인잔치의 주인공이 있어요.

The wedding feast has its main characters.

백말타고 오신 예수 그리스도.

Jesus Christ who comes riding on a white horse.

혼인잔치에는 신부가 있어요.

There is a bride at the wedding banquet.

혼인잔치에는 언젠가 결혼하지 이건 아니에요.

A wedding feast doesn't mean that one will get married someday.

어떤 사람들이 연애하는데 언제 결혼해요? 언제? 언젠가 하지 뭐.

Some people date, but when do they get married? When? Someday, I guess.

이런 남자들이 있어요.

There are men like this.

여자가 결혼하자고 날짜 잡으라고 하면 그냥 언젠가 하지 뭐.

If a woman asks to set a date for the wedding, I’ll just say let’s do it someday.

그냥 사는 거지 뭐 이러고 사는.

I'm just living like this, that's all.

우리 주님은 절대 그러지 않으니까 안심하시기를 바라.

I hope you feel reassured because our Lord would never do that.

혼인 날짜가 있어요. 혼인 장소가 있어요.

There is a wedding date. There is a wedding venue.

그리고 신랑이 있고 신부가 있어요.

And there is a groom and a bride.

그리고 천년왕국이 있습니다.

And there is the thousand-year kingdom.

천년왕국이라고 하는 것은 심판을 떠올매요.

The term "Millennium Kingdom" brings to mind judgment.

택한 백성에게는 천년왕국이요.

It is the thousand-year kingdom for the chosen people.

그리고 택한 받지 못한 사람에게는 그날이 무슨 날이에요?

And what day is it for those who are not chosen?

심판이에요.

It's a referee.

심판이라는 건 나쁜 거 아니에요. 그렇죠?

Being a judge isn't a bad thing, right?

심판이라는 건 좋은 겁니다.

Judgment is a good thing.

누구에게? 우리에겐 좋은 거예요.

To whom? It's a good thing for us.

하나님의 승리의 날이니까.

Because it is the day of God's victory.

어둠의 세력이 심판받는 날이에요.

It is the day when the forces of darkness are judged.

그래서 우리는 심판받는 날을 사모하는 거예요. 그렇죠?

So we long for the day of judgment, right?

무서워하는 게 아니라 사모하는 거예요.

It's not fear; it's admiration.

정말을 우리는 뭐예요? 기다리는 것이죠.

What are we really? We are waiting, right?

정말을 기다리는 거예요. 심판을 기다리는 거예요.

I'm really waiting. I'm waiting for the judgment.

심판날이 곧 우리의 혼인 날이고

The day of judgment is soon our wedding day, and

그게 천년왕국이 시작되는 거예요.

That's when the Millennial Kingdom begins.

따라서 성도들은 우리의 죽음도 마찬가지예요.

Therefore, for the faithful, our death is the same.

삶과 죽음이라는 것이 있는데

There is something called life and death.

그러면 우리를 위하여 결혼하면 말이죠.

Then we should get married for our sake.

신랑이 물론 요즘은 신부가 준비하는 사람도 가끔 있긴 합니다만

These days, there are sometimes brides who prepare things as well, of course.

어쨌든 그래도 원칙은 신랑이 준비하는 거예요.

Anyway, still, the principle is that the groom prepares it.

그래서 이제 집을 하나 장만해놔요.

So now let's get a house ready.

결혼하고 가서 살 집.

A house to live in after getting married.

이것이 예루살렘.

This is Jerusalem.

성이에요.

It's a surname.

그리고 요즘 보면 단지들에게 아파트 같은 것이 있지 않습니까?

These days, don’t you see things like apartments in complexes?

우리 옛날에 살던 집이 있어요.

We have a house where we used to live a long time ago.

그 집에서 이제 이사와서 새 집으로 가는 거예요.

We're moving out of that house and going to a new one.

그리고 새 땅으로 가는 거예요.

And we're going to a new land.

위에 새 하늘이 있어요.

There is a new sky above.

우리는 거기에 신부의 자격으로 가요.

We go there in the capacity of a bride.

신부는 신랑의 모든 영광을 다 갖는 거예요.

The bride receives all the glory of the groom.

여자는 별 벌레인데 남자 잘라두면 그 남자 위치로 올라가잖아요.

Women are like insects; if you cut off a man, she will rise to his position.

대통령 부리로.

Through the president’s whim.

부인을 영부인이라고 그러잖아요.

They say the First Lady is the wife.

별일이 아닌데 그냥 대통령 옆에 있다 이거예요.

It's nothing special, just being next to the president.

장관 옆에 있다 이거예요.

I am next to the minister.

그러니까 같은 격으로 올라가는 거예요.

So it's about rising to the same level.

우리가 누구의 격으로 올라가요?

Whose rank are we rising to?

예수의 격으로.

In the manner of Jesus.

예수님이 내 신랑 되신 예수님이니까.

Because Jesus is my bridegroom, Jesus.

우리는 그 예수의 영광을 신부가 다 갖는 것이고

We possess all of the glory of Jesus as the bride.

예수에 갖는 그 축복 자리를 다 갖는 거예요.

It means having all the blessings that come with Jesus.

이게 신부라는 위치예요.

This is the position of a bride.

결혼 전에는 나무꾼이었어요.

I was a woodcutter before getting married.

뭐 뭐 그랬잖아요.

You said something like that, right?

그런데 이제는.

But now.

결혼하고 나서 왕비가 된 거예요.

She became a queen after getting married.

할렐루야.

Hallelujah.

우리가 혼인생활을 할 수 있는 집이 새 성 예루살렘이에요.

The new holy Jerusalem is the house where we can live a married life.

예루살렘의 특징을 인마 누 엘이라고 했어요.

They referred to the characteristics of Jerusalem as Immanuel.

할렐루야라는 말.

The word "Hallelujah."

하나님의 장막이 인간의 장막과 하나가 되었다.

God's tent has become one with man's tent.

하나님이 우리와 함께 되었다.

God has been with us.

이제 하나님이 나고 살려고.

Now God wants me to live.

내 안방으로 들어오셨다.

You have entered my bedroom.

결혼하면 보면 딴 집에 둘 살다가 한 집에 살더라고요.

When you get married, you live in separate houses for a while before living in the same house.

남자가 들어오든 여자가 들어오든 아무튼 신웅방을 꾸며가지고

Whether a man comes in or a woman comes in, anyway, I will decorate the new room.

그래서 한 침대에 들어가더라고요.

So they got into one bed.

이게 아가서예요.

This is the Song of Songs.

그래서 우리는 하나님이 이제 안방에서 같이 산다는 거예요.

So we are saying that God now lives together with us in the living room.

쉬운 표현을 하면.

To put it simply.

그리고 이제 밥도 따로 먹어요.

And now we eat rice separately.

같이 먹어요.

Let's eat together.

한 상에 둘러 앉아서.

Sitting around a table.

이제는 옛날에는 다 따로 먹었는데.

In the past, we used to eat separately.

이제는 한 밥을 먹어요.

Now we eat the same meal.

부인은 남편을 위해서 뭘 지어요?

What does the wife cook for her husband?

밥을 지어요.

I am cooking rice.

반찬을 만들어요.

I make side dishes.

여러분 남의 밥 지어주고 남의 반찬 만들어주면 그거 아주 두려워감이 있을 거예요.

If you cook someone else's rice and make someone else's side dishes, there might be a feeling of fear in that.

그런데 사랑하는 사람을 위해서 밥을 지어주면 빨래를 하면 그거는 침묵 아니에요.

However, if you cook for the person you love and do the laundry, that’s not silence, is it?

그건 기가 막힌 거예요.

That's amazing.

너무 좋은 거예요.

It's really good.

제가 사랑하는 사람을 위해서 빨래해주고 사랑하는 아이를 위해서 기저귀를 갈아주는 것은.

Washing clothes for the person I love and changing diapers for the child I love is.

그거는 엄마의 특권이요.

That's a mother's privilege.

아내의 축복이에요.

It's a blessing from my wife.

나는 여러분 모든 아내가 그런 축복이 여러분 남편한테 봉사할 때 있게 되기를 바랍니다.

I hope that all of your wives will have the blessing to serve your husbands.

그러면 발을 씻어줄까요? 안 씻어줄까요?

Should I wash your feet or not?

발 씻어주는 아내가 되기를 바랍니다.

I hope to become a wife who washes your feet.

나는 너무 좋으니까.

I feel so good.

발도 씻어주고 음식도 갖다 만들어주고 잠자리도 깔아주고 다 하는 거예요.

I wash your feet, prepare your meals, and even make your bed; I do everything.

이게 기쁨인 거예요.

This is joy.

이게 성도의 기쁨이에요.

This is the joy of the saints.

성도의 기쁨.

The joy of the saints.

성도의 보람이에요.

It is the worth of a believer.

성도의 찬양이에요.

It's the praise of the saints.

사랑이에요.

It's love.

교회 와서 청소하고 교회 와서 밥 짓고 교회 와서 나무 만들어주고 교회 와서 데코레이션하고 이게 다 신부가 신랑을 위하여 일하는 이 기쁨과 축복인 것이죠.

Coming to the church to clean, coming to the church to cook, coming to the church to make furniture, coming to the church to decorate—this is all the joy and blessing of the bride working for the groom.

찬양하고 얼마나 좋아요.

How wonderful it is to praise!

이런 것이 없다면 이런 신앙생활은 아니죠.

If there isn't something like this, then it isn't a life of faith.

그냥 교회 와서 맹숭맹숭 그냥 연극표 하나 내듯이 헌금 하나 내고 앉아서 그냥 가자님 미안하니까 그냥 하나 내고.

I just come to church, blandly put in a donation like handing over a theater ticket, sit down, and give something just because I'm sorry to God.

티켓 사듯이 그다음에 예배 한 번 예배 잘 받았다.

I received worship well after buying the ticket, just like that.

오늘 멋있는데 찬양 멋있다.

Today is cool, and the praise is amazing.

오늘 설기 한 번 끝내주는데 그리고 그렇게 하는 거예요.

Today, I'm going to finish the rice cake, and that's how it's done.

그건 손님이에요.

That's a guest.

손님.

Guest.

여러분 집에 더러우면 손님이 청소해요?

If your house is dirty, do guests clean it up?

주인이 청소해요?

Does the owner clean?

주인이에요.

I am the owner.

우리는 주인이에요.

We are the owners.

주인.

Master.

여러분 교회 주인이에요.

You are the owners of the church.

여러분 손님이 아니라고요.

You are not guests.

손님은 불평해요.

The customer is complaining.

주인은 절대 불평 안 해요.

The owner never complains.

불평을 받는 사람이에요.

I am the one who receives complaints.

내가 주인이니까.

Because I am the owner.

이 집은 안 주인이니까.

This house doesn't belong to me.

우리 신랑 되신 예수님.

Our bridegroom, Jesus.

주님의 내가 신부니까 청소도 내가 하는 거고 집이 고장 나면 내가 고치는 거고.

Since I am the bride of the Lord, I do the cleaning, and if the house is broken, I fix it.

그러니까 내가 고치고 내가 돈 받아요?

So I fix it and I get paid?

내가 청소해 놓고 내가 돈 받아요?

Am I supposed to clean and then get paid?

아니에요.

No.

내가 해 놓고 누구한테 칭찬받아요?

Who do I get praised by after I do it?

아니죠.

No.

우린 칭찬 안 받는 거예요.

We don't receive compliments.

받는 분한테 하나 있어요.

There is one for the recipient.

신랑한테.

To the groom.

그러나 다른 사람한테는 칭찬 안 받는 거예요.

However, you don't get praise from others.

신랑이 와서 몰래 너 참 수고했다.

The groom came and secretly said you worked hard.

이렇게 말해주는 거예요.

This is how you say it.

이게 신랑 생활이에요.

This is the life of a groom.

근데 칭찬받을 일도 없어.

But there's nothing to be praised for.

왜 청소한 게 없으니까.

Because there is nothing to clean.

고생한 게 하나도 없으니까.

Because I haven't struggled at all.

우리가 이런 얘기가 오늘 22장에 나오는 느낌이에요.

I feel like this kind of conversation appears in today's chapter 22.

이런 영적 필링이에요.

It's a spiritual feeling.

22장.

Chapter 22.

새 하늘 새 땅 새 예루살렘 새 성전.

New heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem, new temple.

어마어마하게 크다고 제가 말씀드렸습니다.

I said it's incredibly big.

장방형의 새 성 예루살렘 밑에서 뭐가 나오냐면

What comes out from the rectangular new city Jerusalem is...

물이 나와요, 물.

Water is coming out, water.

에스겔 47장 배웠죠?

Did you learn about Ezekiel chapter 47?

물이 나와요.

Water is coming out.

땅이 적셨죠?

The ground is wet, right?

발목까지 찼죠?

It was filled up to the ankles, right?

무릎까지 찼죠?

Did it reach your knees?

허리까지 찼죠?

It was up to my waist, right?

어깨까지 찼죠?

Did it reach your shoulders?

그리고 물 속에?

And in the water?

빠졌죠.

I fell for it.

물 속에서 헤엄치고 다니죠?

Do you swim around in the water?

그 물이 흘러가죠?

That water flows away, right?

가는 데마다 기적이 일어나요.

Miracles happen everywhere I go.

죽은 고기가 살아나고 죽은 땅이 살아나고.

Dead fish come back to life, and dead land comes back to life.

황무지가 변하여 장미꽃이 되고.

The wasteland has transformed into a rose.

그리고 거기에 이 강물이 가는 데마다 나무들이 살아나요.

And wherever this river flows, the trees come to life.

시내가에 심은 나무가 나무들이 살아나요.

The trees planted on the street are coming to life.

나무들이 살아나요.

The trees come to life.

시내가에 심은 나무가 시절을 쫓아 열매를 맺듯이 날아가죠.

Just like the trees planted by the riverside bear fruit in their season, I fly away.

Please read the first verse.

또 제가 수전같이 맑은 생명수의 강을 내게 보이니 하나님과 어린 양의

"And I saw a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb."

자, 하나님과 어린 양의 보호자가 뭐냐면 성전이 하나님과 어린 양의

Well, the protector of God and the Lamb is the temple of God and the Lamb.

보호자가 있는 데가 성전이고 우리가 거기에 있어요.

The place with a guardian is the sanctuary, and we are there.

거기에서부터 이 생명수의 강이 흘러 넘쳐요.

From there, the river of this living water flows abundantly.

Verse 2.

길 가운데.

In the middle of the road.

자, 이 생명수의 강이 어디에 흘러요?

So, where does the river of this life-giving water flow?

길 가운데.

In the middle of the road.

예수님은 나는 길이여 진리여 생명이라고 말했죠.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life."

길 가운데 흐른다.

It flows in the middle of the street.

강 좌우에 뭐가 있어요?

What is on either side of the river?

생명나무가 있어요.

There is a tree of life.

몇 개 있어요?

How many are there?

12개가 있어요.

There are 12.

12달을 의미하는 거예요.

It means twelve months.

1년 내내.

All year round.

1평생.

A lifetime.

12달.

12 months.

12가지 나무가 있고 12나무에는 12개가 있어요.

There are 12 trees, and each of the 12 trees has 12.

12개가 있어요.

There are 12.

나무에는 12가지 뭐가 있어요?

What are the 12 things in the tree?

실과?

Thread?

가지 실과가 있어요.

There are various branches.

열매가 있어요.

There are fruits.

잎사귀가 무성한 나무를 하나님은 저주, 예수님은 저주했어요.

God cursed the tree with abundant leaves, and Jesus cursed it as well.

심는 대로 거두어요.

You reap what you sow.

팥 심은 데 팥나무고 콩 심은 데 콩 나는 것처럼 당신이 심는 대로

Just as planting red beans yields red bean plants and planting soybeans yields soybeans, you will reap what you sow.

거두리라.

I will gather.

잎만 무성한 나무는 가지를 쳐버리라.

A tree that is only leafy should be pruned.

성령이 뭐라 그래요?

What does the Holy Spirit say?

열매라고 그래요.

They say it's a fruit.

열매.

Fruit.

성령 받은 사람은 열매가 있어요.

A person who has received the Holy Spirit bears fruit.

열매 없는 사람은 성령 받는 게 아니잖아요.

A person without fruits is not receiving the Holy Spirit.

받은 사람이 아니에요.

I'm not the person who received it.

입만 무성하지. 말만 많이 하고

You only talk a lot without any substance.

시끄럽기만 하고 떠들기만 하고

Just noisy and blabbering.

돌아다기만 하고 뭐가 복잡해.

It's just going around, what's so complicated about it?

아무것도 없어. 어떤 사람은.

There is nothing. Some people.

어떤 사람은 조용한데

Some people are quiet, but...

그 사람을 열어보면

If you open that person up

탐스러운 과일들이

Luscious fruits

그냥 쏟아지는 거예요.

It just spills out.

풍요한 과일들이. 그 인생에 있어서.

Abundant fruits. In that life.

이 열두 나무에

To these twelve trees

왜? 열두 실과가 있다고 말했어요.

Why? I said there are twelve threads.

그리고 그 나무

And that tree.

잎사귀들이란 말이 있는데

There is a saying about leaves.

이슬께서는 이 잎사귀는

Dew, this leaf is
