Hello to all the Mind Golf listeners across the country and around the world. It's been a long time, hasn't it? Almost seven months. I hope you've all been doing well during this time.

정말 바쁜 한 해를 보내고 있다고는 하지만 그래도 이러한 핑계를 대고 있습니다.

I am indeed having a very busy year, but I am still making such excuses.

마인드골프가 그동안 좀 이래저래 좀 많이 바빴는데요.

MindGolf has been quite busy with various things lately.

올해는 마인드골프가 진행했던 카카오 골프 예약 서비스도 시작을 했고 서비스 오픈을 했고요.

This year, MindGolf has also launched the Kakao Golf reservation service and opened the service.

의미 있는 성과도 냈습니다.

Meaningful results were also achieved.

지난 4월에 서비스 오픈을 했는데요.

We opened the service last April.

지난번 팟캐스트 녹음했던 게 3월 달이었거든요.

The last podcast recording was in March.

그래서 그 다음 달에 서비스 오픈을 했고요.

So we launched the service the following month.

또 8월 달에는 스코틀랜드도 다녀왔습니다.

I also visited Scotland in August.

지난해에 이어서 두 번째 또 2년 연속 다녀왔는데요.

This is the second time I've gone again after last year, visiting for two years in a row.

올해는 지난해보다 조금 더 길게 다녀왔고요.

This year, I traveled a bit longer than last year.

지난해 디오픈했던, 지난해 또 방문을 했었던 카누스티.

The Kanusty, which opened last year and was visited again last year.

킹스반스, 킹스반스는 김인경 선수가 2년 전에 리코 브리티시 오픈을 우승했던 그 대회를 열었던 골프장이었고요.

Kingsbans, Kingsbans is the golf course where player Kim In-kyung won the RICO British Open two years ago.

글랜 이글스, 지난달에 소라임컵이라고 미국 대표와 유럽 대표, 여자들 대표들이 2년에 한 번씩 하는, 남자들이 하는 걸 라이더컵이라고 하죠.

Glen Eagles, last month there was the Solheim Cup, which is held every two years with representatives from the US, Europe, and women's teams; the men's equivalent is called the Ryder Cup.

그 소라임컵 대회를 했던 그 골프장을 글랜 이글스도 다녀왔습니다.

I also visited Glen Eagles, the golf course where that Soraime Cup tournament was held.

또 그리고 골프의 역사에.

And also the history of golf.

그 골프장 중에 하나인 뮤어필드.

Muirfield, one of those golf courses.

예전에 골프 지금의 규정들을 처음에 논의하고 만들었던 그 골프장이라고 하는데요.

It is said to be the golf course where the initial discussions and establishment of the current golf regulations took place in the past.

이 뮤어필드의 골프장도 다녀왔습니다.

I also visited the golf course at Muirfield.

이 뮤어필드 같은 경우는 한 번 라운드를 하려면 아주 제한적으로 티타임을 매주 화요일하고 목요일 오전에만 외국 사람들에게 오픈을 하고

In the case of Muirfield, to play a round, tee times are very limited and are only open to foreign visitors on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

저희도 예약을 거의 1년 반 정도 전에 예약을 했습니다.

We also made our reservation about a year and a half ago.

거의 2년 전에 예약을 해야 라운드를 할 수 있는.

You need to make a reservation almost 2 years in advance to play a round.

그런 유명한 골프장이기도 합니다.

It is also a famous golf course.

그래서 이런 골프장들 또 다른 유명한 골프장들도 해서 100대 골프장에 많이 들었던 그런 골프장으로 주로 라운드를 다녀왔고요.

So we have mostly played rounds at these golf courses, including other famous golf courses that have frequently made it into the top 100 golf courses.

이러한 다양한 이야기는 마인드골프가 블로그에 하루 단위로 하루하루 이렇게 올리고 있는데요.

또 최근에는 그 올댓골프라고 예전에 마이골프스파이의 한국지사인 그 회사인데요.

Also, recently there is All That Golf, which is the company that used to be the Korean branch of MyGolfSpy.

올댓골프라는 골프 전문 리뷰하는 그 회사와 마인드골프가 토크쇼를 진행하기로 했어요.

All That Golf, a company that specializes in golf reviews, has decided to hold a talk show with Mind Golf.

그 올댓골프라는 곳에서 마인드골프와 마인드골프와 어떤 컨텐츠 동영상 컨텐츠를 만들어 보고 싶다고 했는데 마인드골프가 해보고 싶었던 것 중에 하나가 토크쇼였거든요.

They mentioned that they wanted to create some content videos with Mind Golf at a place called All That Golf, and one of the things Mind Golf wanted to try was a talk show.

그래서.

저번에 파일럿 방송을 올댓골프와 마인드골프의 진행자 두 분이서 한 몇 명 방청객들 초대를 해서 파일럿 방송을 녹음했고요.

Last time, the hosts of All That Golf and Mind Golf recorded a pilot broadcast by inviting a few audience members.

아직 그거는 정식으로 내보내지는 않았고요.

That hasn't been officially released yet.

아마도 11월 초 10월 말 정도에 첫 번째 공개 토크쇼를 진행하기로 했습니다.

We have decided to hold the first public talk show around the beginning of November, at the end of October.

그리고 이제 마인드골프가 오늘 녹음하고 있는 게 3라운드 70샷인데요.

And now Mind Golf is recording the third round with 70 shots today.

팟캐스트는 이제 3라운드 72샷까지 녹음을 마무리를 조만간 할 예정이고요.

The podcast is planning to wrap up recording soon, with up to 72 shots in the 3rd round.

이제는 진짜로 자주 녹음을 할 예정입니다.

I plan to record often now.

조금 가볍게 가볍게 녹음을 해서 자주 올리도록 하고요.

I'll record a bit more lightly and upload it often.

요즘은 대세가 옆에 있는 패드에서 소리가 났네요.

These days, the trend is that there was a sound coming from the pad next to me.

요즘은 대세가 팟캐스트보다는 유튜브니까 4라운드에는 유튜브로 한번 제작을 좀 해보려고 하고요.

These days, the trend is more towards YouTube than podcasts, so I’m planning to create the 4th round on YouTube.

제작을 하고 나서 음성 파일만 좀 음성 부분만 추출을 해서 팟캐스트에 올려볼까도 생각하고 있습니다.

After the production, I am also considering extracting just the audio part and uploading it to a podcast.

왜냐하면 팟캐스트는 4라운드까지 마무리를 꼭 하겠다고 예전부터 약속을 했던 터라 그렇게 이제 팟캐스트를 하고

Because the podcast had promised to wrap up by the fourth round, we are now doing the podcast like this.

유튜브를 한번 동영상으로 마인드골프가 녹음하고 있는 것을 한번 많이 움직이지 않겠죠.

Mind Golf will probably not move around much while recording a video on YouTube.

그리고 내일 곧바로 그 일본에서 더 챌린지 제펜 스킨스라고 하는 그 타이거우즈 로리 맥길로의 제이슨 데이 그리고 마츠야마 히데키 4명이서 스킨스 대회하는 이벤트성 대회가 바로 내일 일본에서 열리게 됩니다.

And tomorrow, an exhibition event called the Challenge Japan Skins will take place in Japan, featuring Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jason Day, and Hideki Matsuyama competing in a skins game.

그리고 곧바로 일본에서도 처음 열리는 PGA 대회인 조조 챔피언십도 열리는.

And soon, the Zozo Championship, the first PGA tournament to be held in Japan, will take place.

타이거우즈가 이 조조 챔피언십에 참가하겠다고 했네요.

Tiger Woods has announced that he will participate in the Zozo Championship.

어느덧 올해는 두 번째 팟캐스트를 녹음하고 있는데 굉장히 시간이 길어서.

그 사이에 있었던 이야기들을 간단하게 좀 정리를 해 봤고요.

이 기사 내용에 대해서 한번 이야기들을 해 보고 싶어서 공유했던 그런 기사이기도 합니다.

I shared this article because I wanted to discuss its content.

골프장에서 있는 일인데 보통 골프가 다른 운동 대비 그렇게 위험한 운동은 아니잖아요.

It's something that happened at the golf course, but usually, golf isn't considered that dangerous compared to other sports.

실제 서 있는 공을 치는 거고 특별하게 이렇게 과격하게 누구랑 이렇게 몸을 부대끼면서 하는 운동도 아니라서 그렇게 위험한 운동은 아닌데.

It's actually hitting a stationary ball, and it's not a sport that involves such intense physical contact with others, so it's not a particularly dangerous sport.

실제 뭐 위험하다고 할 수 있는 것도 아니고요.

It's not really something that can be said to be dangerous.

위험하다고 할 수 있는 것들은 날아오는 공에 맞는다든지 아니면 휘두른 클럽에 몸이 맞는다든지 하는 경우 빼고는 그렇게 위험하지는 않은데.

Aside from situations where one might get hit by a flying ball or a swinging club, it's not that dangerous.

대부분의 사고는 그 공에 맞는 실제 클럽을 휘두른 클럽에 맞는 경우보다는 날아온 공에 맞는 경우들이 좀 있죠.

Most accidents happen when the ball hits the player rather than when the player swings the actual club that made contact with the ball.

쉔크가 난다든지 아니면 어디 공을 친 게 다른 홀로 넘어가서 다른 홀에서 플레이하고 있는 사람이 맞는다든지.

Whether it's a shank or hitting the ball to another hole where someone is playing, it’s all part of the game.

뭐 그런 면에서는 마인드골프도.

In that sense, mind golf too.

다른 홀에서 친 공이 날아와서 맞아본 경험이 있습니다.

I have experienced getting hit by a ball that flew in from another hole.

그리고 요즘은 뭐 간혹 있기도 한 사고이기도 한데 카트가 어떻게 어디 부딪혔다든지 전복이 됐다든지 물에 빠졌다든지 하는 그런 사고도 있는데요.

These days, there are occasionally some accidents where a cart might collide with something, tip over, or fall into the water.

오늘 이 이야기는 공에 맞은 사고고 실제 그것이 어떻게 판결이 났는지에 대한 최종 판결은 아닌데요.

Today's story is about an incident involving being hit by a ball, and it is not the final ruling on how it was judged in reality.

시사하는 바가 있어서 소개를 해볼까 합니다.

I would like to introduce something that is worth considering.

이 내용은 한국일보에 올라온 기사고요.

This content is an article published in the Korea Herald.

제목이 바위 넘기려 친 골프공 튕겨 실명.

Title: A golf ball hit to move a rock leads to blindness.

바위를 넘겨 치려고 했던 골프공에 그 공이 튕겨 나와서 실명했다는 내용이고 고개가 안 말린 캐디에도 배상 책임이라고 헤드라인 제목이 잡혀 있습니다.

The article discusses a golf ball that bounced off a rock, resulting in the loss of vision, and it is headlined that there is liability for the caddy who did not turn their head.

바위 앞에서 공을 쳤다가 튕겨 나온 공에 실명했다면 이를 말리지 않은 캐디 경기보조원에게도 책임이 있다는 법원 판단이 나왔다.

A court ruling has stated that if a player was blinded by a ball that bounced back after hitting a rock, the caddy who did not warn them also holds responsibility.

서울중앙지법 민사합의 48부 부장 최형표는 아마추어 골퍼 A씨가 골프장 캐디 B씨를 등을 상대로 3억 6천만 원을 배상하라고 낸 소송에서

Chief Judge Choi Hyung-pyo of the 48th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court ruled in a lawsuit filed by amateur golfer A against golf course caddy B, demanding compensation of 360 million won.

1억 3천 4백여만 원을 지급하라며 원고 일부 승소 판결했다고 15일 밝혔다.

On the 15th, it was announced that the court ruled in favor of the plaintiff in part, ordering the payment of over 134 million won.

A씨는 지난해 6월 경기의 한 골프장에서 골프 경기를 하던 중 자신이 친 골프공이 바위에 맞고 튕겨 나와 왼쪽 눈에 맞는 사고를 당했다.

Mr. A was involved in an incident last June at a golf course in Gyeonggi, where a golf ball he hit struck a rock and ricocheted, hitting him in the left eye.

아 참 섭섭하네요. 어떻게 또 친 게 다른데도 아니고 또 눈에 맞았습니까.

Oh, I'm really disappointed. How is it that I got hit in the eye again by something that's not even different?

왼쪽 안구가 파열된 A씨는 위험한 암석 해저들에 불과했다.

Mr. A, whose left eye was ruptured, was merely a dangerous rocky seabed.

아 참 섭섭하네요. 어떻게 또 친 게 다른데도 아니고 또 눈에 맞았습니까.

Oh, I'm really disappointed. How could it happen again, not just with anyone else but with someone I see?

왼쪽 안구가 파열된 A씨는 위험한 암석 해저들에 불과했다.

Mr. A, whose left eye was ruptured, was merely among the dangerous rocky seabeds.

웬만 암석 해저들 앞에서 공을 치는 것을 말리지 않고 오히려 바위를 넘겨서 치라고 말했다며.

They say you told them not to stop hitting the ball in front of the usual rocky seabeds, but rather to hit it over the rocks.

당시 경기에 동반했던 캐디 B씨와 골프장 운영회사 등을 상대로 소송을 했다.

He filed a lawsuit against caddy B, who accompanied him at the time of the match, and the golf course operating company.

이에 대해 골프장 측은 공을 빼서 치거나 띄워서 치세요라고 안내했는데도 A씨가 무시하고 스스로 골프공을 친 것이라며 해당 장소에서 유사한 사고가 발생한 적이 한 번도 없다고 맞섰다.

In response, the golf course stated that they had advised to either remove the ball or hit it in the air, but Mr. A ignored this and struck the golf ball himself, asserting that there had never been a similar incident at that location before.

A씨가 무시하고 스스로 골프공을 친 것이라며 해당 장소에서 유사한 사고가 발생한 적이 한 번도 없다고 맞섰다.

Person A argued that they ignored it and hit the golf ball themselves, stating that a similar accident had never happened at that location before.

재판부는 사고가 발생한 골프장을 직접 방문해 현장검증을 한 결과 골프공이 암석에 맞고

The court visited the golf course where the incident occurred and, as a result of the on-site verification, found that the golf ball hit the rock.

튕겨나와 골퍼나 동반자를 다치게 할 위험성이 충분했다는 결론을 내린 뒤

After concluding that there was a significant risk of injuring either the golfer or their companion by bouncing out.

B씨가 암석 해저드와 관련한 위험성을 충분히 주지시키지 않아 사고를 당한 만큼 안전배려 의무를 위반한 B씨와

Since Mr. B did not sufficiently inform about the risks related to rock hazards, he violated his duty of care, which led to the accident.

B씨 사용자인 골프장 운영회사의 배상 책임이 있다고 밝혔다.

재판부는 또 경기보조원은 아마추어 골퍼의 경기를 보조할 경우

The court also stated that a 경기보조원 (competition assistant) may assist amateur golfers during their matches.

더욱 적극적으로 경기 도중 발생할 수 있는 위험성을 알리거나 안전을 배려할 의무를 부담한다.

They have an obligation to actively inform about the potential risks that may arise during the game or to consider safety.

골프공을 다른 장소로 옮겨서 치게끔 유도하거나 더욱 주의해서 칠 수 있도록 충분한 주의를 줬어야 한다고 설명했다.

It was explained that the golf ball should have been moved to a different location to encourage hitting it there or that sufficient attention should have been given to hit it more carefully.

재판부는 다만 골퍼는 주위에 돌이나 나무가 있는 경우 공이 맞고 날아갈 방향을 고려할 의무가 있는데

The court stated that a golfer has an obligation to consider the direction the ball will fly if it hits a stone or tree nearby.

동반자가 위험하지 않겠냐고 주의를 줬음에도 스스로의 판단으로 공을 친 A씨도

Even though they warned that the companion might be in danger, Mr. A still made the judgment to hit the ball on his own.

주의 의무를 다하지 않았다며 배상 책임은 40%로 제한한다.

The liability for damages is limited to 40% for not fulfilling the duty of care.

First of all, thank you. While lying down with emotional wounds from a blind date on Sunday afternoon, I thought I should drink some alcohol when I received a message from Mind Golf about the October monthly gathering location.

엔돌핀이 돌아 글을 쓰게 되었습니다. 10월 월레일 장소는 동촌시시였습니다. 이때 마인드골프가 두 팀 예약을 했었구요. 주유팔씨비님이 한 팀 예약을 도와주셨습니다.

Endorphins kicked in and I started writing. The location for the October monthly meeting was Dongchon City. At that time, Mind Golf had reserved two teams, and JuyupalssiBi helped to reserve one team.

그때 소개팅을 하고서 별로 결과가 안 좋았나보네요.

그렇게 생각했습니다.

During this round, Narana gave a lot of detailed advice, so I think I should practice a bit and try to update my record next month as well.
