오늘의 패턴부터 볼까요?

Shall we take a look at today's pattern?

오늘의 패턴은 I swear, 맹세코입니다.

Today's pattern is "I swear."

오늘의 문장은 I swear I didn't know. 맹세코 난 몰랐어 이고요.

Today's sentence is "I swear I didn't know."

그럼 오늘의 패턴 I swear부터 먼저 볼게요.

Then, let's first take a look at today's pattern "I swear."

swear이라는 단어가 욕하다 라는 뜻도 있는데

The word "swear" also means to curse.

오늘의 패턴에서는 맹세하다 라는 뜻이에요.

발음은 swear이고요.

그럼 I swear 하면 나는 맹세한다 라는 뜻이 되겠죠?

우선은 제일 기본 문장부터 만들어 볼게요.

앞에다가 뭘 붙일까요?

라는 표현이 있어요.

tell the truth라고 합니다.

It's called telling the truth.

tell이 말하다이고 truth가 진실이란 뜻이거든요.

"Tell means to say, and truth means reality."

그래서 tell the truth하면 진실을 말하다 라는 뜻인데

So if you say "tell the truth," it means to speak the truth.

나는 사실을 말하는 거야.

I am stating the facts.

다시 말해서 나는 사실을 말하는 중이야 이렇게 말해야 해요.

In other words, I am speaking the truth; I should say it like this.

자 그러면 우리 앞에서 배웠던 패턴을 또 복습을 해야겠네요.

Well then, we need to review the pattern we learned earlier.

나 뭐 하는 중이야 라고 하는 현재 진행형 형태.

What am I doing?

I'm 뒤에 동사 ing형 이걸 이용해 주시면 되겠습니다.

You can use the verb in the -ing form after "I'm".

자 그럼 나는 사실을 말하는 거야.

Well, then I am telling the truth.

나는 사실을 말하는 중이야.

I am speaking the truth.

뭐라고 할까요?

What should I say?

I'm 뒤에 동사 ing형 붙어야 되니까 tell the truth가 아니라 telling the truth 붙여주시면 되겠죠.

Since it needs to have the verb in the ing form behind I'm, it should be "telling the truth" instead of "tell the truth."

나는 사실을 말하는 중이야.

I am speaking the truth.

I'm telling the truth라고 합니다.

They say, "I'm telling the truth."

그러면 오늘의 패턴 I swear을 붙여볼까요?

맹세코 난 사실을 말하는 거야.

그러면 나는 맹세한다는 오늘의 패턴 I swear 쓰면 되고요.

Then I swear I can use today's pattern, "I swear."

이제 나는 뭐든지 할 것이다 이걸 뒤에 붙이는 거죠.

Now I will do anything, putting this behind.

나는 할 것이다 하려면 할 것이다 단어 will 쓸게요.

I will do it, I will use the word "will" if I want to do it.

근데 will만 달랑 쓸 수는 없어요.

But you can't just use "will" by itself.

will 뒤에는 꼭 동사 원형이 붙어야 됩니다.

After "will," a base form of a verb must be used.

뭘 붙일까요? 하다라는 의미의 do를 붙여주세요.

What should I attach? Please add the meaning of "do."

그래서 나는 할 것이다 하면 I will do.

So I will do it.

근데 이제 뭐든지라는 단어를 붙여야겠네요.

But now I guess I have to attach the word "anything."

뭐든지는 anything이라고 하시면 되겠습니다.

You can simply say "anything" for whatever it is.

그래서 난 뭐든지 할게 하면 I will do anything 이걸 붙여주시면 돼요.

So, just add "I will do anything" to whatever I say I'll do.

자 그럼 이제 다 됐네요.

So it means something like "like that."

그러면 it's nothing 그것은 아무것도 아니야.

Then it's nothing.

like that 그런 것이.

좀 복잡하죠?

다시 말하면 네가 생각하는 그런 거 아니라고 it's nothing like that 이렇게 말해요.

In other words, it's not what you think at all.

너무 하나하나 단어를 일대일로 대응시켜서 생각하지 마시고요.

그런 거 아니야 하면 it's nothing like that.
