오늘이 여행가고싶다 마지막 방송이네요.

I want to travel today; it's the last broadcast.

지난 1년간 여행가고싶다를 통해서 비교적 덜 알려진 한국의 아름다운 여행지 51곳을 소개해드렸습니다.

Over the past year, I have introduced 51 relatively lesser-known beautiful travel destinations in Korea through Travel Want.

어디를 가든 높고 낮은 능선이 끝없이 펼쳐지는 한국의 산하.

Wherever you go, the high and low ridges of Korea's mountains stretch endlessly.

깊고 푸른 바다 위로 떠오르는 태양의 황홀해 했던 동해.

The East Sea, where the sun rises over the deep blue sea, was enchanting.

온 세상을 붉게 물들이며 갯벌 너머로 사라지는 일몰이 장관이었던 서해.

The sunset that painted the entire world red and disappeared beyond the tidal flats was a magnificent sight on the West Sea.

부산 앞바다 위에 놓인 해상산책로에서 만난 남해.

Namhae, encountered on the coastal promenade over the sea in Busan.

호젓한 산속 숲길을 걸으며 피톤치드를 마음껏 호흡하기도 했고 소록도 성모도 영도 등 개성 넘치는 섬들도 둘러봤습니다.

I walked along a quiet forest path in the mountains, breathing in the phytoncides as much as I wanted, and also explored unique islands such as Sorokdo, Seongmodo, and Yeongdo.

수원 화성 남한산성 같은 세계가 인정한 한국의 문화유산도 가보고 남해 발해길 순례길 선재길 등 테마길도 많이 걸었습니다.

I visited Korean cultural heritages recognized by the world, such as Suwon Hwaseong and Namhansanseong, and also walked many themed trails like the Namhae Balhae Trail and the Seonjae Trail.

평창 동계올림픽을 앞두고는 강원도 여러 지역을 소개해드리기도 했죠.

Before the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, I also introduced several regions of Gangwon-do.

그리고 여행 때마다 그 지역의 대표 먹거리도 빼놓지 않았습니다.

And every time I traveled, I made sure not to miss the representative foods of the region.

오늘은 그 중에서 여행가고 싶다를 함께 제작한 6명의 피디들이 추천하는 내가 꼽은 최고의 여행지를 준비했습니다.

온 세상이 연초록으로 물들고 파스텔톤 꽃들로 화사해지는 봄날.

A spring day when the whole world is dyed in light green and adorned with pastel flowers.

장지선 피디는 전라남도 곡성을 찾았습니다.

Director Jang Ji-sun visited Gokseong, Jeollanam-do.

한반도 서남쪽 끝자락에서 멀지 않은 곳 곡성.

Gokseong, located not far from the southwestern tip of the Korean Peninsula.

강물 따라 하얀 매화꽃구름이 가득했던 그곳 섬진강.

The place where white plum blossom clouds filled along the river was the Seomjin River.

장지선 피디는 봄기운을 만끽할 수 있었던 곡성 여정을 최고의 여행지로 꼽았습니다.

Producer Jang Ji-seon named her trip to Gokseong, where she could fully enjoy the spring vibes, as the best travel destination.

개절마다 꼭 한번쯤은 가봐야 할 여행지가 있잖아요.

There is a travel destination that you must visit at least once every season.

봄날의 여행지 하면 저는 섬진강이 먼저 떠오르더라고요.

When I think of a travel destination in spring, the first thing that comes to mind is the Seomjin River.

요즘은 보기 힘든 모래톱의 정취도 느낄 수 있고요.

These days, you can also feel the atmosphere of a sandbank that is hard to see.

강을 따라서 매화나 벚꽃, 개나리 같은 봄꽃들이 정말 흐드러지게 됩니다.

Along the river, spring flowers like plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, and forsythias really bloom beautifully.

그래서 저는 그 섬진강 자락을 따라서 레일바이크를 탔던 그 순간이 제일 기억에 남습니다.

So, the moment I rode the rail bike along the banks of the Seomjin River is the one that I remember the most.

저절로 봄노래가 나오던 그 순간이 아직도 생생히 기억나요.

I still vividly remember the moment when the spring song came out on its own.

레일바이크는 일명 궤도 자전거라고 하는데요.

The rail bike is also called a track bicycle.

2명 또는 4명이 짝을 이루어 직접 페달을 밟아 철길을 달립니다.

Two or four people pair up and pedal directly to run along the railroad tracks.

출발하시랍니다.

이렇게 옛날에 기차가 다니던 길을 레일바이크라도 타고 다닐 수 있는 게 너무 좋은 것 같아요.

I think it's really nice that we can ride a rail bike on the old train tracks like this.

On the right, there is a mountain that has just begun to be adorned with spring flowers.

왼쪽엔 아름다운 섬진강이 흐르고

이런 봄날 오후에 이런 자연에 있는데 어떻게 노래가 나오지 않겠어요?

On a spring afternoon like this, surrounded by nature, how could a song not come out?

누가 먼저랄 것도 없이 봄노래를 합창하기 시작했어요.

Without anyone going first, we began to sing spring songs in unison.

봄봄봄 봄이 왔네요

Spring, spring, spring, spring has come.

우리가 처음 만났던 그때의 향기 그대로

Just like the scent from when we first met.

그때가 앉아 있었던 그 벤치 옆에 나무도 아직도 남아있네요

The tree next to the bench where I was sitting back then is still there.

살아가다 보면 잊혀질 거라

As time goes by, you'll forget.

여행 가고 싶다에서 소개한 여행지 중에는 특별한 사연을 담은 것도 있습니다.

Among the travel destinations introduced in "I Want to Go Travel," there are some that hold special stories.

전라남도 고흥에 위치한 소록도가 그렇습니다.

Sorokdo, located in Goheung, Jeollanam-do, is like that.

김지연 PD가 이곳을 다녀왔는데요.

Producer Kim Ji-yeon has been here.

김지연 PD는 소록도에 머물렀던 시간이 아주 특별했다는군요.

PD Kim Ji-yeon's time spent on Sorokdo was very special.

소록도는 아기 사슴 모양을 닮았다 해서 붙여진 이름인데요.

Sorokdo is named because it resembles the shape of a baby deer.

그만큼 자연경관이 아름다웠습니다.

The natural scenery was that beautiful.

하지만 일제강점기였던 1916년 한세님들이 이곳으로 강제 이주하면서 소록도 100년의 아픈 역사가 시작됐는데요.

However, in 1916, during the Japanese colonial period, the painful history of Sorokdo began when the Hanse people were forcibly relocated here.

소록도 여행에서 가장 인상 깊었던 거 두 가지를 꼽자면

If I had to pick the two most impressive things from my trip to Sorokdo.

소록도 성당에 계신 김현준 신부님과의 만남과

The meeting with Father Kim Hyun-jun, who is at the Sorokdo Cathedral, and

그리고 신부님과 함께 걸었던 치유의 길입니다.

And it is the path of healing that I walked with the priest.

신부님의 말씀, 작은 상처는 큰 상처를 만나면 치유된다는

The priest's words, that small wounds are healed when they encounter big wounds.

제 삶을 돌아보는 큰 계기가 됐습니다.

It has become a significant turning point in reflecting on my life.

김현준 신부님은 특별한 길이 있다고 꼭 한번 가봐야 한다며 제 손을 이끄셨는데요.

Father Kim Hyun-jun said that there is a special path we must definitely visit, and he took my hand to lead me there.

바로 치유의 길입니다.

It is the path of healing.

이곳은 일반인 통제구역으로 인솔자가 없으면 들어갈 수가 없습니다.

This area is a restricted zone for the general public and cannot be entered without an escort.

치유의 길은 소록도 섬 깊숙한 곳, 가장 외진 곳에 있는데요.

The path to healing is deep within Sorokdo Island, in the most remote place.

해안가를 따라 연결된 울창한 소나무 숲길입니다.

It is a dense pine forest path connected along the coastline.

약 4km로 1시간 정도 걸을 수 있는 길입니다.

It is a path that can be walked in about one hour, covering a distance of approximately 4km.

이 예쁜 산책길에도 슬픈 사연이 있습니다.

This beautiful walking path has a sad story.

치유의 길이 품고 있는 사연은 1938년으로 거슬러 올라갑니다.

The story that the path of healing holds goes back to 1938.

당시 일본인 병원장이 이들을 감시하기 위해 소록도 섬 둘레에 걸쳐 길을 조성했다고 합니다.

It is said that the Japanese hospital director at the time built roads around the island of Sorokdo to monitor them.

이 길을 뚫어요. 중장비 없이 삽과 갱이 이런 곳으로 이 길을 4km 뚫습니다.

We will clear this path. Without heavy equipment, we will dig this road for 4 kilometers with shovels and pickaxes.

추운 겨울에 1월달에 원당인 상태입니다.

I am in a state of 원당 in January during the cold winter.

이 길을 하다 보니까 굉장히 많은 사람이 동상에 걸리게 돼요.

As I continue down this road, many people end up getting frostbite.

그러니까 손가락이 썩어가지고 떨어져 나가거든요.

So, the finger rots and falls off.

그러니까 이 4km의 길은 한세린들의 피고름과 피눈물로 만들어진 길이라는 거예요.

So this 4km road is a path made of the pus and tears of Han Serin.

치유의 길

The path of healing.

여행가고 싶다를 계속 청취한 분들이라면 어디를 가도 감탄과 환호가 끊이질 않았던 오아름 피디를 기억하실 겁니다.

If you have been listening to "I Want to Travel," you will remember producer Oh Areum, where admiration and cheers were never-ending no matter where she went.

그만큼 최고의 여행지를 고르기가 무척 어려웠다고 하는군요.

It seems that it was very difficult to choose the best travel destination.

오아름 피디, 오랜 고민 끝에 강릉 여정길에 들렀던 에디슨 과학박물관, 참소리 추궁기 박물관을 최고의 투어로 꼽았습니다.

Producer Oh Areum has chosen the Edison Science Museum and the Cham Sori Investigation Museum, which she visited during her journey to Gangneung after much contemplation, as the best tour.

강릉 하면 오죽헌, 경포대, 선교장 등을 떠올리실 텐데요.

When you think of Gangneung, you might think of Ojukheon, Gyeongpodae, and Seonkyojang.

제가 거기서 만난 에디슨 과학박물관, 참소리 추궁기 박물관은 뭐랄까 정말 생각지 못한 선물 같은 곳이었어요.

The Edison Science Museum and the Chamsoori Cultural Heritage Museum that I visited there were truly like unexpected gifts.

미국의 에디슨 박물관보다 에디슨 발명품이 더 많고 거기다가 한 개인의 노력으로 이런 박물관이 운영되고 있어요.

There are more Edison inventions than at the Edison Museum in the United States, and this museum is operated by the efforts of a single individual.

경포대는 한국적인 아름다움이 녹아든 곳이잖아요.

Gyeongpodae is a place where Korean beauty is immersed.

그런 경포대를 마주하고 서양 문물이 모인 박물관으로 여행을 떠난다.

I’m going on a trip to a museum where Western culture gathers, facing Gyeongpo Pavilion.

생각만 해도 이색적이지 않나요?

두 번째로 간 곳은 에디슨 과학박물관입니다.

The second place I went to was the Edison Science Museum.

전 시간에 들어서자 처음 만났어요.

I met you for the first time when I entered last time.

처음 만난 건 에디슨이 1879년에 만든 최초의 필라멘트 전구, 퍼스트 램프였는데요.

The first time we met was with the first filament light bulb made by Edison in 1879, the First Lamp.

유리로 만든 피라미드 모양의 전시모형 안에는 윗부분이 뾰족하게 올라온 동그란 전구들이 노란 불빛을 내뿜고 있어 트리를 연상케 해요.

Inside the pyramid-shaped exhibition model made of glass, there are round light bulbs with pointed tops emitting a yellow light, reminiscent of a Christmas tree.

전시모형 맞은편에는 퍼스트 램프 이후 1909년에 만들어진 텅스텐 필라멘트 전구 500여개가 벽을 가득 채웠어요.

On the opposite side of the exhibition model, over 500 tungsten filament bulbs made after the first lamp in 1909 filled the wall.

1909년입니다. 100년 전에 만들어진 필라멘트에요.

It's 1909. It's a filament made 100 years ago.

스위치를 켜자 꽃, 악기, 크리스마스 트리, 하트 등 다양한 모양의 필라멘트가 색색으로 빛나는데요.

When the switch is turned on, filaments in various shapes such as flowers, instruments, Christmas trees, and hearts light up in different colors.

절로 탄성이 나오네요.

It naturally evokes awe.

불교로 초기 경전인 수타니파타에는 이런 말이 나옵니다

소리에 놀라지 않는 사자처럼

그물에 걸리지 않는 바람처럼

Like the wind that doesn't get caught in a net.

지늘 VA 아니지 않는 연꽃처럼

Like a lotus that does not bend.

무소의 풀처럼 혼자서 가라

Go alone like the grass of a rhinoceros.

지늘 이 뚫고 아름다운 꽃을 피여 올리는 연꽃

The lotus flower that blooms beautifully, breaking through the mud.

그래서 불가에서 차상의 꽃이라 불립니다.

It is called the "flower of the chariot" in Buddhism.

그 이 제목은 toute n reconnaissance à celle lune de nous.

The title is a tribute to that moon of ours.

저에게 최고의 여행지는 수만 송의 연꽃이 피어있던 경기도 양평 세미원이었습니다.

My favorite travel destination was Semiwon in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, where thousands of lotus flowers were in bloom.

한여름 뜨거운 태양 아래 당당히 꽃잎을 피워낸 연꽃과의 만남.

A meeting with the lotus that proudly blooms its petals under the scorching summer sun.

그리고 새벽에 이슬을 머금은 연꽃 봉우리를 따서 연꽃차를 만들어 마셨는데요.

And in the early morning, I picked a lotus bud covered in dew and made lotus tea to drink.

시원하면서 쌉싸름한 연향이 아직도 입가에 맴도는 듯합니다.

The cool yet bittersweet taste of the good fragrance still seems to linger on my lips.

연잎밥이 쪄지는 동안 연화차를 주시겠다며 냉동실에서 뭔가를 가져오셨는데요.

While the lotus leaf rice is steaming, you said you would bring something from the freezer for the lotus tea.

한지로 곱게 싼 백년 꽃봉우리입니다.

This is a hundred-year flower bud delicately wrapped in hanji (Korean paper).

새벽에 이슬 맞은 연꽃을 따서 미리 준비해 두신 거랍니다.

The lotus flowers, covered in dew, were picked early in the morning and prepared in advance.

커다란 도자기에 얼음을 동동 띄운 물을 담고 그 위에 꽃봉우리를 살포시 올려넣습니다.

Fill a large ceramic vessel with water, floating ice on top, and gently place flower buds on it.

물을 조금씩 부어가며 꽃잎을 하나하나 펼칩니다.

I pour a little water and unfold each petal one by one.

평소에도 걷는 걸 워낙 좋아해서 많이 걷는 편이고 여행을 가면 특히 많이 걷는데요.

I usually love to walk, so I tend to walk a lot, especially when I go on trips.

오대산 선재길은 천년이네요.

Odaesan Seonjaegil has been around for a thousand years.

1년이 넘는 긴 시간 동안 스님과 불자들이 사색을 하며 걸어온 길이라

It is a long path that the monk and the Buddhists have walked together in contemplation for over a year.

천년의 시간이 흐르는 길이라는 점이 가기 전부터 설레게 하더라고요.

The fact that it's a path that has flowed for a thousand years makes me excited even before I go.

작년 12월이었는데 길을 걷는 동안에 한방눈이 내려가지고

It was last December when it started to snow lightly while I was walking down the street.

더 기억에 남는 풍경을 눈과 마음에 담아올 수 있었던 것 같아요.

I think I was able to capture more memorable scenery in my eyes and heart.

선재길은 스님들과 불자들이 걸었던 사색의 길이자 부처를 만나러 가는 구도의 길이었습니다.

Seonje-gil was a path of contemplation walked by monks and Buddhists, as well as a pilgrimage route to meet the Buddha.

많은 이들이 이곳을 찾아와 옛 선재길을 걷는 이유 중에 하나입니다.

One of the reasons many people come here is to walk the old Seonje-gil path.

오덕만 천년에 걸쳐서 많은 손님들이 이 오광길이 아닙니까?

Isn't this the Oguang-gil where many guests have come over a thousand years?

그분들의 고뇌라든지 해탈이라든지 모든 게 다 담겨져 있는 거니까

Because everything, including their suffering and enlightenment, is contained within.

By walking that way, you can attain emotions. It's different from other paths.

선재끼를 걷기 시작할 때쯤 내리기 시작한 눈송이가 이내 펑펑 한방눈으로 변했습니다.

As I began to walk on the trail, the snowflakes that started to fall soon turned into a heavy snowfall.

지금 눈이 내리기 시작을 해서 눈이 점점 많이 와서 한방눈이 되어버렸어요.

It has started to snow now, and it's gradually snowing more, turning into a heavy snowfall.

근데 워낙에 눈이 기존에 와있던 와서 쌓여있던 그 위에 눈이 또 내려서 길은 좀 조심조심해서 걸어야겠어요.

But since there was already a lot of snow that had accumulated, more snow has fallen on top of it, so I'll have to walk carefully on the road.

눈 내리니까 온 세상이 막 하얗게 변하네요.

The snowfall is making the whole world turn completely white.
