초서 4장 25절에서 32절 말씀으로

Ephesians 4:25-32.

세 사람의 사는 방식이라는 제목으로

Titled "The Way Three People Live"

은혜를 나누도록 하겠습니다

I will share the grace.

우리 교독해서 읽죠 제가 먼저 읽습니다

Let's read it alternately. I'll read first.

그런즉 거짓을 버리고

Therefore, put away falsehood.

각각 그 이웃과 더불어 참된 것을 말하라

Speak truthfully to each other and to your neighbors.

이는 우리가 서로 지체가 됩니다

This makes us delay each other.

분을 내어도 죄를 짓지 말며

Do not commit a sin even when you are angry.

해가 지도록 분을 품지 말고

Do not hold onto anger until the sun sets.

도둑질하는 자는 다시 도둑질하지 말고

Let the thief no longer steal.

돌이켜 가난한 자에게 구제할 수 있도록

So that we can turn back and help the poor.

자기 손으로 수고하여 선한 일을 하라

Do good works with your own hands.

무릎 더러운 말은 너희 입 밖에도 내지 말고

Don't even let dirty words about the knees come out of your mouth.

오직 덕을 세우는데 소용되는 대로

Only as it is useful for establishing virtue.

선한 말을 하여 듣는 자들에게 은혜를 끼치게 하라

Speak good words to impart grace to those who hear.

하나님의 성령을 근심하게 하지 말라

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God.

그 안에서 너희가 구원의 날이니

It is the day of salvation for you inside it.

그 날까지 인치심을 받았느니라

I was given a sense of pride until that day.

너희는 모든 악독과 노함과 분념과 떠드는 것과 비방하는 것을

You must put away all malice, anger, bitterness, clamor, and slander.

모든 악의와 함께 버리고

Abandon everything with malice.

다같이 서로 친절하게 하며

Let's all be kind to each other.

불쌍히 여기며 서로 용서하기를

To have compassion and forgive one another.

하나님이 그리스도 안에서 너희를 용서하신과 같이 하라

Forgive as God has forgiven you in Christ.

오늘은 마더스데이입니다

Today is Mother's Day.

그래서 사실 오늘 같은 날

부모 공경에 관한 말씀을 전하는 것이 적합할 것입니다

적용되지 않도록

적용되지 않는 설교는 유산이다

A sermon that is not applied is a legacy.

이런 말이 있습니다

There is a saying.

아무리 은혜로운 설교도

No matter how gracious the sermon is,

성도들의 삶을 구체적으로 변화시킬 수 없다면

If it cannot specifically change the lives of the believers,

그것은 의미 없는 것이라는 거죠

That means it's meaningless.

우리는 이 에베소서 앞부분에서

In the earlier part of this Ephesians,

우리의 옛사람은 이미 그리스도와 함께

Our old self is already with Christ.

십자가에서 죽었으며

He died on the cross.

대신에 우리는 성령으로 거듭난

Instead, we are born again by the Holy Spirit.

새사람이 되었다는 것을 배웠습니다

I learned that I have become a new person.

그런데 안타깝게도요

However, unfortunately...

새사람이 되었으면서도 우리는 여전히

Even though we have become new people, we are still...

옛 습관을 버리지 못하고

Unable to let go of old habits.

그대로 사는 경향이 있다는 거예요

It means that there is a tendency to live just as you are.

그래서 사도 바울도

So the apostle Paul also

이제 그 옛 습관을 벗어버리고

Now, shed that old habit.

예수 안 믿을 때 살았던 그런 삶의 모습을 던져버리고

Throwing away the image of the life lived before believing in Jesus.

새로운 신분에 맞는 삶을 살라

Live a life that matches your new identity.

이렇게 권합니다

I recommend this.

특별히 너희가 새사람으로 살아야 한다는 것을

You must specifically live as new people.

이제 알았으면 됐다

Now that you know, it's enough.

하고 말로 끝내는 것이 아니라요

It's not just about finishing with words.

그것이 우리의 삶 속에서 실제적으로

That it is practically in our lives.

실천되어지고 또 연습되어져서

Practiced and implemented.

우리의 삶이 실제적으로

Our lives are practically

우리의 삶을 살아야 한다는 것을

We must live our lives.

새사람의 모습으로 바뀌어져야 된다는 것을 말하는 겁니다

It means that one must be changed into a new person.

따라서 바울도 그런 새사람의 삶을 위해서

Therefore, Paul also for the life of that new person.

구체적인 적용을 쓰고 있는데

I am writing about specific applications.

오늘 본문 25절부터 32절까지의 말씀이 그것입니다

Today's passage is from verse 25 to verse 32.

다시 말하면 오늘 본문은요

In other words, today's text is...

실제 새사람들이 여러분들이 살아내야 하는

The real new people that you have to live with.

삶의 방식이라는 거예요

It's a way of life.

새사람이 되었다는 것은

Becoming a new person means.

새사람이 되는 훈련 중에

During the training to become a new person.

살아내야 되는 삶의 방식 중에

Among the ways of life that we must live through.

가장 먼저 바울은요

First of all, Paul...

말의 습관에 대해서 언급을 해요

It mentions the habits of speaking.

여러분 입은요

What about your mouth?

우리 사람한테만 주는 게 아니라

It's not just for people.

모든 피조물들에게 다 있습니다

It exists in all creatures.

물고기도 입이 있고요

Fish also have mouths.

원숭이도 입이 있어요

Even monkeys have mouths.

그런데 유일하게 인간들에게만

However, only to humans.

주신 것이 바로

What you have given is 바로

이것이 있는데

I have this.

그게 입에서 나오는 언어

That's the language that comes out of the mouth.

말을 통해서

Through words.

대화하게 하셨다는 거예요

You mean you made me have a conversation.

과연 말은

Indeed, words are...

사람이 하나님의 형상대로 지음받은

Man is created in the image of God.

아주 특별한 존재라는

A very special existence.

증거인 것이죠

It's evidence.

그런데 문제는

But the problem is

이 말에는요

This means...

생산적인 말만 있는 것이 아니라

It's not just about productive words.

파괴적인 말이 있다는 거예요

There are destructive words.

더 정확하게 말하면요

To be more precise,

다락한 인간들은

The fallen humans

생산적인 말보다는

Rather than productive words

파괴적인 말을

Destructive words

더 잘하게 돼 있다는 거예요

It means that you are bound to do better.

그래서 야고보 3장 2절에도

So in James 3:2 also

우리가 다 실수가 많은데

We all make a lot of mistakes.

만약에 말에 실수가 없는 사람이라면

If a person has no mistakes in their speech

그 사람이 온전한 사람이다

That person is a complete person.

이렇게 말해요

It says this.

사실 우리의 삶에

In fact, in our lives

옛 사람의 습관이

The habit of the ancients.

가장 많이 나타나는 것

The most frequently occurring thing.

또 내 삶 속에서

Again in my life

옛 사람의 모습이

The appearance of an ancient person.

가장 쉽게 나타나는 곳이

The place where it appears most easily.

바로 입입니다

It's right here, the mouth.

말의 습관이라는 거죠

It's a habit of speech.

한국에서

In Korea

관객 모독이라는 연극을

The play called "Audience Disrespect."

한 적이 있었어요

I have done it before.

이 연극은요

This play is...

한 시간 내내 관객을 향해서

For the whole hour facing the audience.

배우들이 욕을 퍼붓는 거예요

The actors are cursing.

아니 어디 욕 들을 데가 없어서

No, I have nowhere to hear insults.

돈을 들을 때가 없어서

I don't have money to spend.

돈까지 들어가면서

Even with the money involved.

욕을 듣는 것인지

Am I being insulted?

참 이해가 안 되잖아요

I just don't understand.

그런데 여러분 이게

By the way, everyone, this is...

바로 인간의

Human's 바로.

타락한 본성을

fallen nature

보여주는 거라는 거예요

It means that it is something you are showing.

욕을 하는 배우들은 물론이고요

Of course, even actors who curse.

관객들도

The audience also.

욕을 들으면서

Hearing insults.

스트레스가 해소가 된대요

It is said that stress is relieved.

그래서 간다는 거예요

So that's why I'm going.

이게 말이 됩니까?

그래서 바울도

So Paul also

오늘 이런 타락한 본성을 가진

Today, with such a corrupted nature.

우리들에게 25절의

To us, verse 25's

말씀을 통해서

Through words

새 사람으로 살아가려면

To live as a new person

가장 먼저 말의

First of all, the horse's

습관을 고쳐야 된다는 거예요

It means you have to change your habits.

거짓을 버리고

Abandon the lies.

이웃과 더불어 참된 것을 말하라

Speak the truth with your neighbors.

또 말의

Again, the horse's.

내용뿐만 아니라요

Not just the content.

말을 하는 방식도

The way of speaking too

29절의 말씀처럼 고쳐야 돼요

We need to correct it like the words in verse 29 say.

어떻게 해요?

How do I do it?

더러운 말은 입 밖에도

Dirty words shouldn't even leave your mouth.

내지 말고 오직 덕을 세우는데

Don't just speak, focus solely on building virtue.

소용되는

Used.

선한 말을 해서

Speak kindly.

듣는 사람들한테 늘

Always to the listeners

은혜 끼치는 말을

Words that bring grace.

하라는 거죠

You should do it.

안타깝게도 우리 인간들의

Unfortunately, our humans'

이 죄악된 본성

This sinful nature.

예수 믿어도 여전히 여러분 안에 남아있는

Even if you believe in Jesus, it still remains within you.

이 본성은요

This nature is...

수시로 거짓을 말하게 만듭니다

It makes you lie frequently.

또요

Again.

특별히 축복의 말보다는

Rather than words of special blessing,

주로

mainly

비판하고 남을

Criticizing others.

깎아내리는 말을

Derogatory remarks.

많이 하게 만들어요

It makes you do a lot.

그래서 하나님은요

So God...

열이고성 전투를 할 때

During the Battle of Yeonigo.

이스라엘 백성들에게

To the people of Israel

희한한 명령을 하시죠

Give me a strange command.

뭐죠?

What is it?

성을 하루에 한 바퀴씩

One round of the castle every day.

돌다가 마지막 날

On the last day of going around.

일곱 바퀴를 돌라는 거예요

It means you should go around seven times.

참 희한한 작전 명령입니다

It's a quite strange operation order.

어떻게

How?

열이고성을 무너뜨리는데

To bring down the walls of Jericho.

성 주위를 돌라고 하시는지 말이죠

Are you saying to circle around the castle?

그런데요

By the way.

우리가 성경을

We are the Bible.

이 부분을 읽으면은

If you read this part,

주목하지 못하고 넘어가는

Overlooked and passed by.

또 하나의

Another one

아니 어쩌면 더 희한한

No, perhaps it's even stranger.

하나님의 명령이 하나 더 있습니다

There is one more command from God.

여호수하 6장 10절입니다

This is Joshua 6:10.

여호수하가 백성에게 명령에 이르되

Joshua commanded the people, saying,

너희 입에서 아무 말도 내지 말라

Do not utter a word from your mouths.

혹시 열이고성 위에 있는

Are you talking about the one above Jericho?

군사들이

The soldiers

이스라엘 백성들이

The people of Israel

성 주위를 돌고 있다는 것을

The fact that it is orbiting around the star.

눈치챌까봐

I'm afraid they'll notice.

입을 열지 말라가

Don't open your mouth.

말씀하셨을까요?

Did you say something?

아닐 것입니다

It will not be.

아무리 입을 다물고

No matter how much I keep my mouth shut

성 주위를 돌아도

Even if I circle around the castle.

그렇게 많은 사람들이

So many people

돌고 있는데

It's spinning.

그 사실을

That fact.

군사들이 눈치를 못 챌 리가 없죠

The soldiers can't possibly not notice.

그것은 무엇보다도

Above all, it is.

성을 돌고 있는 이스라엘 백성들을

The people of Israel who are circling the fortress.

위해서 하신

For the sake of.

명령이었어요

It was an order.

왜요? 그들은

Why? They are

입을 열었다 하면

When I open my mouth,

틀림없이

불평하는 말

Complaining words

원망하는 말

Words of resentment

비판하는 말

Critical remarks.

이런 말을 할 것이 뻔했기 때문인 겁니다

It's because it was obvious you would say something like that.

그래서 하나님은

So God is

이스라엘 백성들에게

To the people of Israel

입을 닫으라고 말하신 거예요

You told me to shut my mouth.

우리가 작년 초에

At the beginning of last year

선교적 교회에 대한 말씀을 들으면서

Listening to the words about the missional church

선교적 교회란

What is a missional church?

결국

In the end.

선교사를 많이 파송하는 교회가 아니라

It's not a church that sends out many missionaries.

모든 성도들이

All the saints

선교적인 삶을

A missional life

살아내는 교회라는 것을 배웠죠

I learned that it is a living church.

그리고요

And?

그 선교적인 삶이 뭐냐

What is that missionary life?

그 여러가지 모습 중에

Among those various forms.

침묵에 대어서 배웠습니다

I learned about silence.

기억나시죠?

Do you remember?

웬만하면

If possible

선교적 삶을 살려면

To live a missional life.

말하지 말라는 거예요

Don't say anything.

하는 것보다 안 하는 게

Not doing is better than doing.

더 좋답니다

It's better.

혹시 말을 하려면

If you want to speak,

오늘 본문의 말씀처럼

As mentioned in today's scripture,

덕을 끼치고

Doing good or being virtuous.

은혜를

grace

흘려주는 말을 해야 되는데

I need to say something casually.

그렇지 않게 되는 경우가

There are cases where it doesn't happen that way.

많은 것을 알기 때문이죠

Because you know a lot.

그러니 차라리

So rather...

침묵하라는 거예요

It means "I'm telling you to be silent."

웬만하면

If possible

입 다물고

Shut your mouth.

한번 기다려보라는 겁니다

It means to try waiting for a moment.

정하고 싶으면

If you want to decide.

더러운 말 입 밖에 내지 말고

Don't let dirty words come out of your mouth.

덕 끼치고 은혜 끼치는 말만

Words that bring good fortune and grace.

하라는 거죠

You're telling me to do it.

사람들의 영혼이

The souls of people

위로받고 살려지는 말

Words that bring comfort and save life.

이런 말을

Such words

많이 하라는 거예요

Do it a lot.

이사야 50장 4절에도

Isaiah 50:4 also

이렇게 말합니다

It says this.

여호와께서 학자의 혀를 내게 주사

The Lord has given me the tongue of the learned.

나로 곰피판자를

I am a bear enthusiast.

말로 어떻게 도와줄 줄을

How can I help you with words?

알게 하소서

Let it be known.

실제로 우리 주변에

In reality, around us

얼마나 많은 사람들이

How many people are there?

마음 상하고 마음이 찢겨져 있는지

Whether the heart is hurt and torn.

몰라요

I don't know.

그렇다면 성령을 모시고 사는

Then living with the Holy Spirit

우리 그리스도인들은

We Christians

우리의 혀를 사용해서

Using our tongue

그 찢겨진 마음

That torn heart.

힘든 마음을 위로하고

Comforting a heavy heart

격려해주고 축복해주는 말을 해서

Speak words of encouragement and blessing.

그들을 도와줘야 된다는 거예요

We need to help them.

이게 새 사람의 삶의 방식이라는 거예요

This is the way of life for a new person.

그렇다면 어떻게

Then how?

구체적으로 그들을

Specifically them.

도울 수 있을까요

Can I help you?

말할 것도 없이

Needless to say

주로 칭찬해주고

Mainly praise.

엔커러지 해주고

Encourage me.

격려해주는 말을

Words of encouragement.

많이 할 때

When there are many things to do

사람이

A person.

많이 할 때

When doing a lot.

그냥 살아난다는 겁니다

It simply means to survive.

그런데 안타깝게도요

Unfortunately,

이 칭찬의 말

This compliment.

격려의 말 하는 거가요

Are you talking about words of encouragement?

의외로 쉽지가 않아요

It’s surprisingly not easy.

평소

usual

남의 마음이나

Other people's hearts or feelings.

형편을 잘 헤아려 볼 줄

Be able to understand the circumstances well.

아는 사람은

Someone you know.

잘 하는데

You're doing well.

그런 마음이 별로 없는 사람들은요

People who don't have that kind of heart.

칭찬의 말 격려의 말

Words of praise and words of encouragement.

안 하는 게 아니라

It's not that I'm not doing it.

못해요

I can't do it.

할 수 있어요

You can do it.

할 수가 없는 거예요

It's something I can't do.

인색해져요

I become stingy.

왜요

Why?

다른 사람들의 마음을

The hearts of other people.

잘 이해를 못하기 때문에 그래요

It's because I don't understand well.

공감 능력이 없는 거죠

You lack empathy.

엠파티가 없는 거예요

There's no empathy.

그러니 늘 입을 열면

So whenever you open your mouth,

자신의 기준에 의해서 판단하고

Judge based on one's own standards.

비판하는 말은

Criticism.

많이 해요

I do a lot.

그런데 남의 마음을

But someone's feelings

위로해주고

Comfort me.

격려해주고 축복해주는 말은

Words that encourage and bless.

별로 못하는 것이죠

It's not something I'm very good at.

사랑하는 성도 여러분

Beloved members of the congregation.

솔루션을

solution

솔직히 여러분 자신을

To be honest, yourself.

한번 가만히 돌아보십시오

Take a moment to look back.

여러분은

You all

주위에 있는 지체들에게

To those around me.

얼마나 관심을 가지고 사시나요

How much interest do you have in living?

그들이 지금 이 상황에서

In this situation, they are now.

어떤 마음을 갖고 있을지

What kind of feelings they might have.

또 어떤

What else?

마음의 아픔을

The pain of the heart.

갖고 사는지 헤아리고 사시나요

Do you count what you have and live with it?

그저

Just

내 기분 나쁘고

I'm in a bad mood.

나 힘든 것만 생각하지

I only think about the difficult things.

저 사람이 지금

That person right now.

얼마나 힘들고 어려울지

How hard and difficult it must be.

별로 생각하지 않습니다

I don't think much about it.

그러니까 말을 해도요

So even if I say something...

격려의 말이나

Words of encouragement or

위로의 말 축복의 말 대신에

Instead of words of comfort and words of blessing.

사람 마음을 아프게 하는

Hurting people's feelings.

비판의 말을

Words of criticism

함부로 툭툭

Carelessly poking.

뱉어내는 것이죠

It's about spitting it out.

제가 좋아하는 말씀 중에 하나가

One of my favorite sayings is

고린두연설 15장 45절의 말씀이에요

It is the word from 1 Corinthians 15:45.

기록된 바 첫사람 아담은

According to records, the first man Adam is...

생명이 되었다함과 같이

As it is said to have become life

마지막 아담은

The Last Adam

살려주는 영이 되었나요

Have you become a spirit that saves?

여기서 말하는

What is being said here

마지막 아담이라는 것은

The concept of the last Adam.

예수님을 말하죠

I'm talking about Jesus.

그런데 예수님은요

But what about Jesus?

자기만 사는 게 아니라

It's not just living for oneself.

자기만 부활하는 게 아니라

It's not just you who is being resurrected.

모든 사람을 살려주시는

You save everyone.

영이라는 거예요

It's called 영.

마찬가지로요

Likewise.

그리스로 말미암아 새사람 된 사람들도

People who have become a new person through Christ.

살려주는 영으로

As a saving spirit.

사셔야 돼요

You have to buy it.

항상 긍정적인 생각 가운데

Always in a positive mindset.

좀 부정적인 생각 가운데에

Among somewhat negative thoughts.

부족해 보이고

It looks lacking.

연약해 보여도요

Even if I seem weak.

칭찬 많이 해주고

Give a lot of compliments.

격려해주는 말을 많이 해서

By saying many encouraging words.

사람들이 살아나게 하는

Bringing people back to life.

살려주는 영으로

As a saving spirit.

사셔야 한다는 거예요

You have to buy it.

저는 이것을 경험적으로 잘 알고 있습니다

I know this experientially well.

그 말이 아무리 맞는 말이어도요

Even if that statement is absolutely true.

격려하는 말 대신

Instead of words of encouragement

비판하는 말

Critical remark

책망하는 말을 많이 하면요

If you say a lot of scolding words,

절대로 사람이

Never a person

살아나지 않습니다

It does not come back to life.

오히려 죽어요

I'd rather die.

실제로 제가 강단에서 맨날

In reality, I stand on the podium every day.

여러분들 잘못이나

It's your fault, everyone.

지적하면서

Pointing out.

이것도 문제고

This is also a problem.

저것도 문제입니다

That's a problem too.

이렇게 맨날 야단만

Always just scolding like this.

강단에서 친다면

If you play from the podium.

여러분 배겨내시겠습니까?

Will you all endure?

여러분이 여러분의 잘못을 몰라서

Because you do not realize your mistakes.

안 고치고 계신가요?

Aren't you fixing it?

아마 1년은 고사하고

Probably not even a year.

한 달도 못 버티실 거예요

You won't be able to last a month.

그래서 저도 비교적

So I am relatively

젊었을 때는요

When I was young.

설교가 야단치는 설교가 많았어요

There were many sermons where the preacher was scolding.

이것도 거쳐라

Go through this too.

저것도 거쳐라

Go through that as well.

그런데 해봐도

But even if I try it...

안되더라고요

It didn't work out.

나이가 들어가면서 설교가 바뀝니다

As we grow older, sermons change.

그래서 오히려 이렇게 연약하고

So rather, it's weak like this.

부족한 우리들을 위해서

For those of us who are lacking.

하나님은 어떤 은혜를

What grace does God give?

베풀어 주셨는지

Did you bestow upon me?

또 이렇게 연약한

Again, so weak like this.

여러분들을 하나님은

God is with you all.

어떻게 끝까지 보게되는지

How do you end up watching it all the way to the end?

어떻게 하지 않고

What should I do without doing anything?

붙들어 가시는지

Are you holding on?

그런 말씀을 전할 때

When conveying such words

성도들은 은혜를 받고요

The believers receive grace.

자기 스스로가 변화의 의지를 갖는 거예요

It is about having the will to change oneself.

맨날 옳은 소리를 하면

If you always speak the truth.

사람들이 바뀔 것 같지만

I think people will change.

절대로 그렇지 않습니다

Absolutely not.

실제로 그렇게 사는 분들은요

Actually, those who live like that...

주변의 사람들을 변화시키기는커녕

Rather than changing the people around me

주변에 사람들이 잘 모이지를 않아요

There aren't many people gathered around.

왜요?

Why?

만나면 맨날 옳고

Every time we meet, you're always right.

옳은 소리만 하고

Only speak the right words.

따지는 말만 하니까

Because you only speak in a questioning tone.

그래 너 잘났구나 하면서

"Yeah, you think you're so great."

가까이 하지를 않는 거예요

I don't get close.

혹시 여러분 주변에는

Is there anyone around you?

사람들이 잘 모이지 않는다는 것을

That people don't gather well.

눈치채고 계십니까?

Are you aware?

저는 당신만 보면

Whenever I see you

왠지 마음이 편해지고

For some reason, I feel at ease.

의지하고 싶어져요 하면서

"I want to lean on you."

여러분에게 가까이 다가오는 사람이

Someone who is getting closer to you.

별로 없으십니까?

Is there not much?

그렇다면 여러분

Then, everyone.

반드시

必ず (Without fail)

여러분 자신의 삶을

Your own life

돌아보셔야 돼요

You need to look back.

여러분 자신의 말의 습관을

Your own speech habits.

잘 점검해보면

If you check it carefully.

틀림없이 여러분은

Surely you are

주변 사람들에게

to the people around you

가족들에게

To the family

덕을 끼치고

To bring virtue.

은혜 끼치는 말보다는

Rather than words that are gracious.

남을 비판하고

Criticizing others

깎아내리는 말

Cutting remarks.

옳은 말만 하고 계셨을 가능성이 높습니다

There is a high possibility that you were only saying the right things.

사실 아무리 고상한 척

In fact, no matter how sophisticated I pretend to be.

그럴듯하게 치장해도요

Even if you dress it up nicely.

그 입술에서 나오는 말이

Words that come from those lips.

항상

Always

남을 비판하는 말을 많이 한다는 것은

To frequently speak critically of others means that...

자신의 인격이

one's character

무엇보다 오늘 본문의 말씀은

Above all, today's scripture passage is

그저 소중한

Just precious.

소극적인 차원에서

On a passive level

도둑질하는 것만을 말하는 것이 아니라

It's not just about stealing.

보다 적극적인 의미에서

In a more active sense

하나님께 주신

Given by God

재물 혹은 재능도

Wealth or talent too

선하신 뜻대로 사용

Use according to your holy will.

해야 된다는 것을 포함해요

It includes what needs to be done.

여러분

Everyone

하나님께서 우리에게 주신 재산은

The wealth that God has given us

원칙적으로 하나님의 것입니다

In principle, it belongs to God.

그러므로

Therefore

우리가 가진 소유들을

The possessions we have.

우리 마음대로 사용해서는 안 돼요

We shouldn't use it however we want.

오늘 본문 말씀처럼

Just like today's scripture.

돌이켜서 가난한 자에게

Looking back at the poor

자기 손으로

With your own hands

수고해서 선한 일을

Work hard to do good things.

해야 된다는 거예요

It means "It must be done."

선교사를 수십가장

Dozens of missionaries.

파송하는 교회가 아니라

Not a sending church.

모든 성도들이

All the saints

그리스도의 사랑을 세상에

The love of Christ to the world.

나타내고자 하는

to express

선교적 삶을 사는

Living a missional life

교회라는 것을

The concept of a church.

자주 말합니다

I say it often.

왜요?

Why?

교회 존재의 목적은

The purpose of the existence of the church is

그리스도의 사랑을 세상에 나타내는 것이기 때문에 그래요

Because it is to reveal the love of Christ to the world.

그러므로 성도, 개인도

Therefore, the saints, individuals too

우리 펠로시 교회도

Our Pelosi Church too.

경제적으로 여유가 있든지 없든지

Whether one is financially comfortable or not.

여건 환경이 되든지 안되든지

Whether the conditions are favorable or not.

그리스도의 사랑을

The love of Christ.

실천하고자 애써야 돼요

You have to make an effort to put it into practice.

그리고 놀라운 것은

And what is amazing is

그렇게 살려고 하는

I want to live like that.

개인이나 교회를

Individuals or churches

선교사의 삶을

The life of a missionary.

하나님은 사용하시고

God uses.

축복하시더라는 거예요

It means "He/She is blessing."

오늘날 이민자들의 삶은

The lives of immigrants today are

어떻게 하든지요

Whatever it takes.

이 땅에서 살아남기 위해서 사는

Living to survive in this land.

서바이버와 같은 것 같아요

It seems like it's similar to Survivor.

그냥 하루하루를

Just day by day.

서바이브라고

It's called "Survive."

영어에도 그런 표현이 있더구만요

There is a similar expression in English, too.

How are you doing?

I'm just surviving

나는 그저 살아남고 있어.

그냥 하루하루

Just day by day.

하루하루

Day by day.

살아가는 거예요

I'm just living.

여러분 이렇게 살려고

I'm living like this to be like you all.

여러분을 미국 땅으로 오게 하신 걸까요?

Did you come to the land of America?

절대로 아닙니다

Absolutely not.

여러분은 서바이버의 삶이 아니라

You are not living the life of a survivor.

드리머의 삶을 사셔야 돼요

You need to live the life of a dreamer.

하나님 나라에 대한 꿈을 꾸셔야 돼요

You must dream of the kingdom of God.

여러분이 지금

What you are currently

꿈을 잃어버리고 계시다면

If you have lost your dream.

아니

No.

꿈이 없으시다면

If you don't have a dream

그것이 여러분에게 문제입니다

That is your problem.

여러분이 건강하지 않은 게 문제가 아니에요

The problem is not that you are unhealthy.

저도 지금 심각한 질병을 갖고 살아요

I am also living with a serious illness right now.

여러분에게 돈이 없는 게 문제가 아니에요

The problem isn't that you don't have money.

저 집 통장에 만물도 없어요

That house doesn't have anything in the bank account.

집도 없어요

I don't have a house.

절도 없어요

There's no theft.

저 아무것도 없습니다

I have nothing.

제 소유

My possession.

문제는 뭔지 아세요?

Do you know what the problem is?

꿈꾸지 않는다는 거예요

It means "I don't dream."

I'm just surviving

그냥 살아가고 있어요.

왜 서바이브 하려고 사십니까?

Why do you want to survive?

그러면 빨리 돌아가세요

Then hurry back.

그럼 빨리 돌아가세요

Then please go back quickly.

전국이 훨씬 행복합니다

The whole country is much happier.

하나님이 여러분을 부르신 목적은

The purpose for which God has called you is

서바이브 하라고 부르신 게 아니라

You didn't call me to survive.

하나님 나라를 꿈꾸라는 거예요

It means to dream of the Kingdom of God.

그리고 하나님은요

And God...

그런 사람을 사용하십니다

You hire such a person.

그런 사람들에게 물질이 없으면

If those people don't have material things,

기가 막힌 방법으로 물질을 채워주십니다

They fill material in an amazing way.

그런 사람에게 신분 문제가 해결되어야 되면

If such a person needs to resolve their identity issue,

여러분이 생각지도 못한 방법으로

In a way that you have never thought of.

그 신분 문제를 해결해 주십니다

Please help me resolve that identity issue.

건강하셔야 한다면

If you need to be healthy

기적 같은 방법으로 여러분을 치유하십니다

He heals you in a miraculous way.

꿈을 꾸셔야 돼요

You have to dream.

어제 아침에 레바논의 반준화 선교사님이

Yesterday morning, missionary Ban Jun-hwa from Lebanon

좋은 말씀을 주셨어요

You have given me good words.

스스로 세상의 빛으로 오셨다고 말씀하신 예수님이

Jesus, who said He came as the light of the world.

마태복음에 가서는

In the book of Matthew...

이제는 너희가 세상의 빛이라고 하셨습니다

Now you are called the light of the world.

정말 인사이트가 있는 말씀 아닙니까?

Isn't that truly insightful?

예수님은 자기가 빛으로 오셨는데

Jesus came as the light.

이제는 여러분들이 예수님을 대신해서

Now, instead of Jesus, you all.

빛으로 살라고 말씀하신 거라는 거예요

It means to live by the light.

서바이브 해가는 게 여러분이 삶의 목적이 아니라 이 말이에요

Surviving is not the purpose of your life, that's what I'm saying.

빛으로 살고자 하는 꿈을 가지시라는 거예요

It means to have a dream of living with light.

이 말씀을 이스리안 난민들에게 전했더니

When I conveyed this message to the Israeli refugees,

그날 저녁에 어떤 자매한테 전화가 왔더랍니다

That evening, a call came in from a sister.

이 자매는 자기가 래퓨지 난민이기 때문에

The sister is a refugee because she is a refugee.

자기는 살아도 사는 게 아니라는 거예요

They say that even if they live, it's not really living.

너무 사는 게 힘들고 행복하지 않고

Life is so hard and I'm not happy.

나 같은 사람은 아무것도 못할 거라 생각했다는 거예요

I thought that a person like me would be able to do nothing.

그런데 이 선교사님의 메시지

However, the message from this missionary

세상의 빛으로 살라는 메시지를 듣고

Hearing the message to live as the light of the world

도전을 받고 나도 드리머가 되겠습니다

After accepting the challenge, I will also become a dreamer.

세상의 빛으로 살겠습니다 결단하고

I will live as the light of the world, making a commitment.

없는 돈에

With no money.

자기가 빛으로 살라는 메시지를 듣고

Hearing the message to live as light.

자기도 먹고 살기 힘든 돈을 가지고

With money that is hard to earn for oneself.

자기보다 더 힘든 사람들을 찾아가서

Finding people who are having a harder time than yourself.

또 친구들을 찾아가서 섬기겠다고 결단하더라는 거예요

He decided to go visit his friends and serve them.

여러분 제가 아는 한 하나님은 그런 사람을 사용하세요

The God I know uses such people.

그런 아이를 사용하십니다

You use a child like that.

기가 막히게 높이시고 기가 막히게 축복하셔서

You have raised me astonishingly high and blessed me remarkably.

그런 아이들이 정말 세상의 빛으로 살게 하신단 말이에요

Such children are truly allowed to live as a light in the world.

여러분 제가 아는 한 하나님은

The God I know, as far as I know, is

그리고 그 꿈을 이루어가는 과정에서

And in the process of realizing that dream

분명히 기억해야 될 것은

What you must clearly remember is

또한 우리 모두가 다섯 달란트 받은 사람이 될 필요는 없다는 거예요

It means that not all of us need to be the ones who received five talents.

제가 보면 우리 주변에는요

From what I see, there are people around us.

다섯 달란트 사람은 별로 없는 것 같아요

It seems that there aren't many five-talent people.

대부분이 한 두 달란트 받은 사람이 대부분인 것 같아요

It seems that most people have received one or two talents.

그런데 사람들은요

But people...

다 자기가 다섯 달란트 받은 사람인 줄 알아요

Everyone thinks they are the one who received five talents.

죽으라고 열심히 살아가고

Live desperately as if you were to die.

여러분 다섯 달란트 받는 게 별로 좋은 거 아니에요

Receiving five talents isn't really a good thing, everyone.

왜요?

Why?

많이 맡긴 자에게는 많이 찾는다고 하셨거든요

He said that those who entrust a lot will receive a lot.

그냥 두 달란트 갖고 열심히 일해서 두 달란트 남기면

If you just work hard with the two talents and leave with two talents.

나중에는 칭찬이 똑같단 말이에요

Later, the compliments are all the same.

그런 의미에서

In that sense

여러분들에게 정말 필요한 말씀이 뭔지 아세요?

Do you know what words are truly needed for you?

빌리포서 4장 11절에서 13절의 말씀이에요

This is the message from Philippians 4:11-13.

어떠한 형편이든지

Under any circumstances.

자족하기를 배웠느니

I have learned to be content.

내가 비천에 처할 줄도 알고 풍부에 처할 줄도 알아

"I know how to be in a lowly position and also how to be in abundance."

모든 일에 배부르며 풍부와 공피배도 일체의 비결을 배웠노라

I have learned the secrets of abundance and prosperity in all matters.

내가 능력 주시는 자 안에서 모든 것을 할 수 있느니라

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

말씀을 맺겠습니다

I will conclude my statement.

우리는 부자건 가난한 자건

Whether we are rich or poor.

마음의 중심이 하나님께로부터 멀어지게 되는 현상을 배격해야 돼요

We must reject the phenomenon of our hearts becoming distant from God.

부함이 그것을 막는다면

If the deputy prevents it

이 부를 막는다면

If you block this wealth

부함을 가져가도록 청하셔야 합니다

You need to request to take the package.

가난이 하나님의 이름을 욕되게 한다면

If poverty disgraces the name of God

먹고 살 문제를 해결해 주십사 기도하셔야 됩니다

You should pray for the resolution of the problem of making a living.

그러나 성경 어느 곳에도

However, nowhere in the Bible

주의 백성이 세상의 빛으로 살고자 할 때

When the people of God desire to live as the light of the world.

굶어 죽는 법이 없다고 말씀합니다

They say there is no way to die from starvation.

마태범 6장 33절은 우리에게 이렇게 분명하게 말씀합니다

Matthew 6:33 clearly tells us this.

먼저 그의 나라와 의의를 구하라

First, seek His kingdom and righteousness.

그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라

Then all these things will be added to you.

기도하겠습니다

하나님 오늘 또

God, today again

세 사람의 사는 방식에 대해서

About the way the three people live.

또 귀한 말씀 주셔서 감사합니다

Thank you for giving me your precious words again.

우리의 삶이 혹여

Our lives, perhaps

세상의 것을 탐하다가

Desiring the things of the world

그저 어떻게 서바이브해서 살아가는지

Just how to survive and live.

거기에 만족하고

Be satisfied with that.

거기에 분주하게 살아가고 있는지 돌아보게 하시고

It makes me reflect on whether I am living busily there.

정말로

Really.

하나님의 나라를 향한 꿈을 꾸게 하시고

He makes us dream of the kingdom of God.

세상의 빛으로 살고자 하는 꿈을 꾸게 하시고

Help me dream of living as a light in the world.

그래서 오히려 그런 자들을 하나님이 높이시고 사용하시고

Therefore, it is those kinds of people that God raises up and uses instead.

그들의 삶의 문제를 해결하신다는 것을

That you solve the problems of their lives.

경험하게 도와주시옵소서

Please help me to experience it.
