오늘은 기후동행카드에 대해서 이야기를 해보려고 하는데요.

Today, I would like to talk about the Climate Companion Card.

이게 최근에 나온 교통카드 중에 하나예요.

This is one of the recently released transportation cards.

수연쌤, 기후동행카드 들어보셨어요?

Have you heard of the Climate Companion Card, Teacher Soo-yeon?

아니요. 저는 처음 들어봐요.

No, I haven't heard of it before.

이게 이름이 기후동행카드로 되게 환경을 생각하는 카드인 것 같아요.

This card is called the Climate Companion Card, and it seems to be a card that considers the environment.

그래서 대중교통을 조금 많이 이용했으면 좋겠다는 그런 바람으로 만들어진 카드 같은데요.

So it's a card created with the hope that people would use public transportation a bit more.

이 카드를 구매를 하시면 매달 6만 원대로 서울에서 지하철, 버스, 따릉이를

If you purchase this card, you can use the subway, bus, and bike sharing in Seoul for around 60,000 won each month.

무제한으로 사용할 수 있는 카드인데요.

It's a card that can be used without limits.

진짜 싸네요.

그렇죠. 정말 저렴한 것 같아요.

저는 인천에 살고 있는데요.

I live in Incheon.

인천이 경기도지만 또 인천광역시의 이름이 따로 있는 도시여서

Incheon is part of Gyeonggi Province, but it is also a city that has a separate name, Incheon Metropolitan City.

서울 바로 옆에 있는?

Right next to Seoul?

그래서 아쉽지만 저는 아마 해당이 되지 않을 것 같긴 하네요.

제 생각에는 여러 나라에서 이런 카드가 있는 것 같아요.

많이는 아니지만 전기권으로 해가지고

그런데 이거는 보통은 학생들을 위한 경우가 많았던 것 같은데

이렇게 전기권은 저는 없는 걸로 알고 있거든요.

As far as I know, I don't have any electrical rights like this.

근데 오이스터 카드의 경우에는 전기권이 있기는 해요.

However, the Oyster card does have an electric pass.

근데 그 전기권 가격이 꽤나 높은 걸로 알고 있어요.

But I know that the price of that electric ticket is quite high.

약간 120파운드라든지

About 120 pounds or so.

그러면 정말 비싸네요.

예를 들어서 1존에서 1존사는 사람들은

이게 너무 비싸다 할 수 있지만

6존에서 1존으로 이동한다든지 할 때는

저렴하다라고 느낄 수 있을 것 같아요.

I think it could be perceived as affordable.

그래서 저는 진짜 이 기후동행 카드가

서울에 살고 계신다면

If you live in Seoul

정말 한번 사용하시는 것도 정말 좋을 것 같아요.

I think it would be really nice for you to try using it just once.

지하철을 자주 타시고

많이 이동하시고

정말 좋은 카드라고 생각합니다.

I think it's a really good card.

환경에도 당연히 자동차를 사용하는 것보다는

이제 탄소 중립 정책을 지키기 위해서

뭐 예를 들어서 제품을 생산할 때

For example, when producing a product

탄소가 많이 이산화탄소가 많이 만들어진다라고 하면은

If a lot of carbon is produced, a lot of carbon dioxide is generated.

그 공정을 조금 더 약간 에코 프렌들리하게 바꿔가지고

Change that process to be a little more eco-friendly.

약간 좀 돈이 더 들더라도 개발을 진행을 해서

뭔가 탄소를 조금 줄이고

Reducing carbon a little.

환경을 생각하는 방향으로

혹은 정책들이 많이 만들어지면은 좋을 것 같아요.
