가정에서 살던 생활과는 되게 다르죠

하지만 대신동은 되게 가정집 같은

거리가 있었거든요

거기에 사는 걸 선호를 했던 게 있었죠

그래서 거기에 살았다

So I lived there.

이제 금화터널 봉고가차로 그쪽이

그 근처에는 지하철이 있고

신촌역은 좀 멀고

신촌 기차역은 갈 수가 없는 거죠

You can't go to Sinchon Station.

근데 저는 지하철파였거든요

But I was part of the subway faction.

지하철파였는데

It was a subway party.

거기는 이제 가려면은

버스밖에 탈 수가 없었어요

I could only take the bus.

밖으로 나가려면요?

들어오든 나가든

그러니까 신촌에서 여기로 오려면은

뭐 7024 같은 버스를 타가지고 와야 되는데

그래서 이제 지하철 나는 지하철파인데

지하철을 타기 위해서라도 버스를 타고 나가야 되는 거예요

나는 그러고 싶지는 않았다

걸어가기에도 멀고

어쩔 수 없이 그냥 버스를 주로 탔던 시기였던 것 같아요

그래서 되게 그게 있었거든요

물론 제가 영촌에 있을 때는 버스를 많이 탔었지만

버스를 어느샌가부터 잘 안 타버릇하게 되고

지하철을 되게 선호하게 됐어요

예측 가능하기도 하고

공철 타가지고 홍대 입구에 와가지고 이렇게 이동하는

I came to Hongdae Entrance with a public transport and moved like this.

그런 루트를 선호했을 정도로

To the extent that I preferred that route.

여기 이사 오면서부터는

이제 버스를 타고 다녀야만 하는 사람이 되어버린 거죠

그래서 여기의 순간들이 뭔가 나의 교통생활

So the moments here are somehow my traffic life.

교통생활에 대한 어떤 의식을 되게 많이 바꿔준

한 3년 정도 살았던 것 같아요

그런 아 버스를 사람이 탈 수 있는

라는 거를 다시금 깨달았던

아 탈만 하다가 아니고 사람이 탈 수가 있구나

아 사람이 버스를 주로 타고 다니는 게

영촌에 있을 때도 대구를 가면은

When I was in Yeongchon, whenever I went to Daegu,

그러니까 버스는 뭔가 문명화된 생활하고 있지 않은 것 같이 느껴지는 거지

하지만 나는 걸어서 간다

But I walk there.

걸어가면은 거리가 사실 꽤 되거든요

If you walk, the distance is actually quite far.

한 15분 20분은 걸려요 나가면은

It takes about 15 to 20 minutes once I go out.

그래도 아 걸어간다

Still, ah, I walk.

와 이거는 버스 지독한 버스 혐오

Wow, this is a terrible hatred for buses.

지독한 버스 혐오 때문에 모든 곳을 걸어가는

심지어 그런 것도 있죠

학교까지 가려고 해도 동문에 원래 셔틀이 서거든요

그런 다르게 저는 걸음을 그냥 어? 그냥 걸으면 되는 거 아닌가 약간

야생의 사람처럼 걸어다녔다

심지어 제가 그 이글루님 아시겠지만 운동화를 안 신잖아요

시위를 해도 그치 그러니까 사람이 서대문구에서 종로구까지 걸어간다는 생각을 잘 안 하게 돼요

하지만 어떤 날에 친구가 한 약속시간 40분쯤 전에

근데 시간이 약간 애매하잖아요

근데 제가 그때 시간이 애매하게 뜰 때 그거를 죽여두는 거를
