오늘은 뒤죽박죽 꿈틀꿈틀 글자벌레에 대한 동화를 가지고 왔습니다

Today, I brought a fairy tale about a jumbled and wiggly letter bug.

이 동화 언어에 대한 동화겠구나라고 이제 짐작을 아마 하실 수 있으실 것 같아요

You might now be able to guess that this is probably a fairy tale about the language of fairy tales.

당연히 그 짐작이 맞고요

Of course, that assumption is correct.

언어 발달에 관련되어 있는 동화책입니다

It is a fairy tale book related to language development.

사실 보통 이제 동화책이 언어에 관련된 동화도 많고

In fact, there are many fairytales in children's books that are related to language.

언어와 연계된 교육과 관련된 동화도 상당히 많이 있습니다

There are quite a few fairy tales related to education linked to language.

자 근데 이 책은 책을 읽기가 좀 힘든 아이들

Well, this book is for children who find it a bit difficult to read.

그리고 책을 읽었지만 이 책에 대한 내용을 좀 파악하기도 좀 어렵고

And I read the book, but it's a bit difficult to grasp the content of this book.

언어에 대한 문제가 결국은 발생이 돼서

The problem regarding the language eventually arises.

학습에 좀 어려움이 생기는 아이들에게 좀 좋지 않을까라는 생각이 좀 듭니다

I think it might not be good for children who struggle a bit with learning.

보통 제가 강연 중에 코로나 이야기를 상당히 많이들 하고는 있긴 한데

Usually, I talk a lot about COVID during my lectures.

이것도 마찬가지인 것 같아요

I think this is the same as well.

코로나 시기에 아이들이 사실은 언어적인 행동이라든지

During the COVID period, children actually exhibited linguistic behaviors.

언어적인 어떤 교육이 사실은 표정 언어에서도

Some linguistic education is, in fact, also in facial expressions.

언어로서의 어떤 전달 얘기 분명히 있거든요

There is definitely a conversation about communication as a language.

자 그런데 마스크를 끼면서 아이들이 얼굴에 대한 표정이 사라지고

However, wearing masks causes children's facial expressions to disappear.

그리고 또 대인관계에 대한 문제가 생기고

And then issues related to interpersonal relationships arise.

그리고 소통에 대한 문제가 생겨서

And then there was a problem with communication.

결국은 언어적인 문제가 왔다라고도 하기는 합니다

In the end, it can be said that there was a linguistic problem.

자 그러나 그러한 부분들은 하나의 팬데믹이라고 하는 정말 사회적으로

Yes, but those aspects are truly socially related to what is called a pandemic.

그리고 또 어떻게 보면 질환적으로 재난이었기 때문에

And in another sense, it was a disaster due to the disease.

그렇다라고 우리가 이야기를 할 수는 있지만

사실 그런 경우가 아니더라도

우리 아이들이 언어에 대한 발달이 늦어지거나

언어에 대한 문제가 생기는 경우들이 상당히 많이 있습니다

There are quite a few cases where problems arise regarding language.

여기 보면 오늘은

풀이가 오늘 주인공인 것 같아요

It seems like 풀이 is the main character today.

그리고 풀이가 글자를 보면 이렇게 힘들어하고

And when the grass looks at the letters, it seems to be struggling like this.

그리고 뒤죽박죽으로 보이기도 하고

And it can also look all mixed up.

뭐 이런 상황들이 이제 나타나는 것 같은데

It seems like these kinds of situations are starting to arise now.

뭐 요즘 어린이들 보면 홈페이지 웹이라든지

These days, when I see children, they seem to be all about websites and the web.

아니면 온라인이라든지 문자도 마찬가지고

Otherwise, it's the same for online or text messages.

길게 된 단어 중심보다는 야구 중심으로 이렇게 짧게 짧게

Rather than focusing on long words, let's keep it short and centered on baseball.

아니면 이제 복합 단어식으로 해서

Or now by using compound words.

뭔가 이렇게 글씨들을 아이들이 많이 보는데

It seems like the children are seeing a lot of these writings.

자 이러한 문제들이 계속 생기다 보니까

As these problems keep arising...

결국은 문장력이라든지 문외력이

In the end, it's about one's writing ability or comprehension skills.

떨어지는 이러한 문제들도 생기기도 합니다

Such problems may also arise.

자 우리 아이가 너무 어리기 때문에

Well, our child is too young.

뭐 문외력 문장력 뭐 이런 것들은 크게

Well, things like linguistic skills and sentence structure are largely...

지금은 필요하지 않다라고 이야기를 하실 수는 있지만

You might say that it's not necessary right now, but...

사실 이 동화에서도 마찬가지인 것처럼

우리가 지금 동화책을 읽는 과정에서

이렇게 이제 우리 풀이의 이야기들을 보면

요즘 이제 엄마들이 이제 언어에 대해서

These days, moms are starting to talk about language.

국어에 대해서 많이 좀 학습을 시키고

I would like to provide a lot of learning about the Korean language.

보내는 경우들이 많아요

There are many cases where I send it.

그 이유는 초등학교 들어가면

The reason is that when you enter elementary school.

이제 학습이 국어만 이루어지는 게 아니고

Now learning is not only limited to the Korean language.

수학이라든지 영어라든지 사회라든지

Whether it's math, English, or social studies.

다양한 교과 과목을 배우는데

To learn various subjects.

그 교과 과목이 다

That subject is all.

국어라고 하는 언어로 만들어져 있고

It is made in a language called Korean.

그 언어가 좀 정확하게 이해가 되고

I can understand that language quite accurately.

뭔가 인지가 좀 돼 줘야

You need to be a bit more aware of something.

이런 것들은 학습으로 연계가 될 텐데

These things will be linked to learning.

그런 것들이 좀 잘 안 되는 거 같아요

I think those things aren't going very well.

그래서 사실은 모든 지식이라든지 감정

So, in fact, all knowledge and emotions

뭐 이런 것들은 상당히 중요하죠

Well, things like this are quite important.

자 그러나 국어라고 하는

However, what is called the national language

어떤 그 문자에 대한 상징 체계를 좀 잘 모르면

If you are not very familiar with the symbolic system of that character...

결국은 학습은 이루어지지 않습니다

In the end, no learning takes place.

그렇기 때문에 상당히 중요한 부분이다

That is why it is a quite important part.

라고 보시면 될 거 같습니다

자 그렇다고 해서

강제로 막 글을 읽히게 하고

Forcing someone to read something against their will.

그리고 공부를 하고 학습을 시켜 가지고

결국은 그렇지는 않을 겁니다

아이가 이제 흥미를

About expressive language

어떤 다양한 재미를 좀 느껴야

I need to feel some different kinds of fun.

국어가 좀 쉬워질 텐데

Korean will become a bit easier.

그렇지 않다면 사실은 자칫 잘못해 버리면

If not, then the truth is that if you make a mistake...

학습에 대한 거부반응

Resistance to learning

그리고 또 국어에 대해서

And also about the Korean language.

뭔가 트라우마가 생긴다면

If something traumatic happens...

결국은 더 안 좋은 역할을 또 가지게 됩니다

In the end, it will end up taking on an even worse role.

그렇기 때문에 사실 학습이라고 하는 것들이

That's why what we call learning...

상당히 좀 어려운데

It's quite difficult.

특히나 이제 우리가 언어라고 한다면

그리고 아이들이 한국말들을 하는 거기 때문에

별로 어렵지 않다라고 생각을 할 수는 있습니다

그러나 아이들 입장에서는 언어라고 해서

우리가 다 하는 말이라고 해서

Just because it's something we all say.

문자까지 쉽다

Even text is easy.

이렇게 우리가 생각할 필요는 없습니다

We don't need to think this way.

뭐든지 학습은 좀 어려운 부분들이 있으니까

Learning anything has its challenges.

아이들에게 하나하나 좀 명확하게 읽어 주시면서

Please read each one to the children clearly.

좀 재밌게 학습을 시키면 좋지 않을까 생각을 합니다

I think it would be good to make learning a bit more fun.

보통 우리 아이들의 발달 과정을 보면

이러한 부분들은 아이의 눈높이에 맞게끔

문자와 감성을 좀 정확하게 의미를 전달해서

To convey the meaning of text and emotions accurately.

의미적인 어떤 모습을 학습으로

Learning some meaningful form.

우리가 연결시켜 주신다면

아마 의미론적 발달에 대한

It is probably about semantic development.

또 하나의 기초가 되지 않을까

라는 생각이 들고요

그리고 또 아이들 같은 경우에는

다양하게 언어를 사용을 하지만

위급할 때 사용하는 언어

Language used in emergencies.

그리고 또 이렇게 뭔가 대화를 할 때 사용하는 언어

And also a language used when having a conversation like this.

그리고 친한 사이와 사용하는 언어

And the language used among close friends.

이러한 것들이 그렇게 크게 구별이 돼 있지는 않습니다

These things are not so distinctly differentiated.

나이가 들고 성장할수록

As I grow older and mature

그런 분류와 어떤 분석이 명확하게 되기 때문에

Because such classification and analysis become clear.

언어에 대해서 나는 이 사람에게 이런 말을 써야 되고

Regarding language, I have to say this to this person:

이런 위급한 상황에 이런 말을 써야 되고

In such an urgent situation, I have to use such words.

이러한 것들이 구분이 되어 있는 것들이 사실이거든요

These things are actually separated.

근데 아이들 같은 경우에는

But in the case of children...

연결이 잘 돼 있지는 않습니다

The connection is not very good.

이러한 문제들 때문에 사실은

Because of these issues, in fact,

좀 뭔가 이렇게 오해를 불러일으킬 수도 있고

It could cause some misunderstandings like this.

그리고 또 아니면 아이들에 대한 언어적인 문제로 인해서

And if not, then because of linguistic issues regarding children.

결국은 우리 아이가 위축이 되거나 불안해 할 수도 있다

In the end, our child might feel overwhelmed or anxious.

이러한 부분들도 알고 계시면 좋으실 것 같습니다

뒷단에 보면 검사가 들어가 있습니다

There is a test at the back.

자 이게 무슨 검사냐고 보시면

So what kind of test is this, you might ask?

난독증 검사라고 있습니다

There is a dyslexia test.

난독증 검사 부모님이나 뭐 선생님들 잘 알고 계시겠지만

Parents and teachers are likely well aware of dyslexia tests, but...

사실은 난독증이 있는지 없는지를 사실 판단하기가 상당히 많이 좀 어렵습니다

The truth is, it's quite difficult to determine whether someone has dyslexia or not.

그리고 또 이제 병원이라든지 센터에 가서 난독증 검사를 하게 되면

And now, if you go to a hospital or center for a dyslexia test...

또 뭐 비용도 당연히 많이 들겠지만

Of course, it will cost a lot as well.

사실 우리 아이가 뭔가 증상이 있는 게 아닐까

Isn't it possible that our child has some symptoms?

병적인 문제가 있는 게 아닐까라고 하는

I wonder if it might be a pathological issue.

오해를 하시는 분들도 많이 계십니다

There are many people who misunderstand.

자 이 난독증이라는 건 뭐 다양하게 있는 부분들이 있지만

Well, there are various aspects to this thing called dyslexia, but...

실제로 유전학적으로 난독에 대한 어떤 증상이 있는 아이들도 있고요

In fact, there are children who have genetic symptoms related to dyslexia.

그리고 또 어떤 스트레스라든가

And also, what kind of stress or something like that.

불안, 불만 때문에 사실 글씨를 거부하면서

Rejecting writing due to anxiety and dissatisfaction.

사실 난독에 대한 증상들이 보이는 아이들도 있습니다

In fact, there are children who show symptoms of dyslexia.

그렇다고 해서 모든 아이가 증상이 있거나 문제가 있다라고

That doesn't mean that every child has symptoms or problems.

우리가 이야기하기는 분명히 어려울 순 있습니다

It may certainly be difficult for us to talk.

그래서 이 난독에 대한 것들을 좀 체크를 해 보면

우리 아이가 글자에 대한 변빌력이 좀 있는지

I wonder if my child has a bit of flexibility with letters.

그리고 또 어떤 타인과 의사소통에서 언어에 대한 문제는 없는지

이러한 것들을 좀 체크해 볼 수가 있고요

그리고 책을 읽을 때 제대로 이해를 하고 있는지

뭐 이러한 부분들도 우리가 체크를 해 볼 순 있습니다

스스로 글을 읽고 독서활동을 좀 자유롭게 할 수 있는지

Whether one can read on their own and engage in reading activities more freely.

뭐 이제 이런 것들을 체크를 해 보는 건데

사실은 어렸을 때는 그렇게 표시는 나지는 않습니다

자 그런데 이제 중학년, 고학년, 초등학교 얘기를 합니다마는

중학년, 고학년으로 올라가다 보면

아이들이 이해를 하고 문외력이 있어야만 문제를 풀거나

사실은 이런 것들이 좀 잘 안 됩니다

뭐 여러 가지 의견이 있습니다마는

사실은 우리가 경쟁체제에 돌입되어 있는 상황이고

아이들 역시 그런 또래 문화에서 뭔가를 같이 해나가면서

우월심이라든지 예를 든다면 자괴감

If I were to give an example of superiority complex, it would be feelings of self-contempt.

이런 여러 가지의 감정적인 부분들이 있기 때문에

그렇게 떨어지지 않고 충분히 아이들이랑 어울 수 있는

So that they can mix well with the children without being too distant.

그런 평균적인 역할을 하기 위해서는

뭐 이러한 것들도 중요하지 않을까 라고 한번 생각을 해봅니다

I think to myself that these things might also be important.

책의 뒤에 보면 마음 처방이라 그래서

If you look at the back of the book, it says "mind prescription."

이러한 이제 언어적인 자신감이 없는 아이들에게

To these children who now lack confidence in their language skills.

알맞은 맞춤 처방을 좀 제시를 해줍니다

I will suggest a suitable tailored prescription.

그래서 맞춤 처방에 대해서 뭐 또박또박 대화해 보기

So let's have a clear conversation about personalized prescriptions.

그리고 또 노력하는 아이들에게

And to the children who are trying hard.

뭐 마음과 행동으로 칭찬해 보기

Try to compliment with your heart and actions.

뭐 이런 것처럼 엄마의 마음 처방이 같이 포함이 돼있고요

It's like this, where a mother's heartfelt prescription is included as well.

아이의 처방 역시 책 속의 내용에 대한 호기심을 좀 유발할 수 있는

The child's prescription can also provoke some curiosity about the content in the book.

그런 것들을 우리가 제안을 함으로 인해서

By making such suggestions, we...

아이들이 좀 재밌게 책을 읽을 수 있고

So that the children can read books a bit more fun.

그리고 또 이 책을 통해서

And through this book as well

아까 방금 얘기 드렸는데

I just mentioned it a moment ago.

예를 든 것처럼 검사 베이직 검사를 통해서
