10화를 맞이한 만큼 특집 방송으로 찾아왔는데요

사실 입추가 지났고요 지금 시점에서는

진짜 가을은 제가 볼 땐 처서에 온다

I think true autumn arrives at the Chuseok festival.

그리고 사실은 추석에 온다라고 믿기 때문에

공포를 약간 포함한 책 이야기로 돌아왔습니다

I have returned with a story about a book that includes a bit of horror.

이름하여 공포특집 플러스 턴 시리즈 얘기를 할 텐데요

We will talk about the special horror feature plus the Turn series.

난이도 조절을 하니까 공포의 난이도

Adjusting the difficulty makes it a horror level.

그래서 오늘은 대체로 좀 순한 맛 위주입니다

그래서 이것 때문에 아 이거 무서운 거 한번 얘기하고 싶다

턴 시리즈가 딱 나왔더라고요 한겨레에서

The turn series just came out in Hankyoreh.

너무 매력적이고 이야기 자체가 재밌고

Very attractive, and the story itself is fun.

그리고 읽어보니까 약간 공포스러움이 곳곳에 숨어있더라고요

And after reading it, I found that there were bits of horror hidden throughout.

이 정도면 순한 맛으로 소개하기 좋다 해가지고 모시게 됐습니다

This is mild enough to be a good introduction, so I decided to bring it.

그럼 우선 책 소개 이 시리즈 소개하기 전에

네 저는 아까 말씀드렸다시피 마케팅팀에 소속되어 있고요

Yes, as I mentioned earlier, I belong to the marketing team.

이제 갓 2년차 정도 됐어요 별로 얼마 되지는 않았습니다

It's only been about two years, so it hasn't been that long.

마케팅팀 내에서는 사실 저희는 뭔가 특별하게 업무를 나눠서 하고 있지는 않고

Within the marketing team, we actually don't have a special way of dividing up the work.

근데 저희는 다 하고 있고요

여전히 좀 아직도 모르는 게 좀 많고 새롭게 느껴지는 게 참 많습니다

조금 더 프리한 마음으로 매년 이맘때쯤이면 떠오르는 책이 한 권 있어서

There is a book that comes to mind every year around this time with a slightly freer mindset.

여기서 한번 소개를 해드리고자 들고 왔습니다

I brought this to introduce it to you.

부유령 작가님의 무정 에세이고요

This is an essay titled "No Love" by the author Bu-yu-ryeong.

제가 재작년 여름에 동해쪽으로 한번 잠시 도망치듯 여행을 갔다가

I went on a brief escape trip to the East Sea area in the summer of the year before last.

지역 서점에서 이 책을 우연히 발견했어요

I偶然 발견한这本书是在当地的书店。

근데 그 무정이라는 키워드가 갑자기 딱 꽂히는 거예요

But suddenly, that keyword "Mojeong" really struck me.

그래가지고 그때 그렇게 사서 읽었었는데

So back then, I bought it and read it like that.

몰랐던 작가님이고

I didn't know the author.

저 또한 이제 뭔가 sns 이런 데서 한 번도 보지 못했던 책이었는데

I also had never seen a book like this on social media before.

나중에 찾아보니까 작가님의 글을 좋아하시는 분들이 이미 많으시더라고요

Later, I found that there are already many people who like the writer's work.

그리고 철학자 부유령 작가님 이렇게 곧잘 불리신다고 하시던데

And I heard that the philosopher author Bu-yu-ryeong is often called this way.

그만큼 남다른 시선으로 담아낸 문장 하나하나의 깊이감

The depth of each sentence captured with such a unique perspective.

그리고 또 이런 유정한 세상을 껴안는 방법은 차라리 무정한 마음이다

And the way to embrace such a sentimental world is rather with an unfriendly heart.

라고 나직히 읊는 작가님만의 뭔가 사과가

Something like an apology uniquely recited by the writer.

사소한 언어들이 그 되게 힘있게 다가왔던 책이었던 것 같습니다

I think it was a book where the trivial languages came to me very strongly.

에세이인 거죠 그러니까

So it's an essay, right?

그렇죠 네

근데 약간 사변적인

But it's somewhat speculative.

네 좀 사색이 많이 담겨 있어요

추천사에 보면은 뭔가 읽으면 서늘하게 쓸쓸해지고

In the recommendation, there's something that makes you feel chilly and lonely after reading it.

덮으면 다시 따뜻해지는 기묘한 책이다라는 추천사가 담겨져 있는데

It contains a recommendation that it is a strange book that becomes warm again when covered.

정말 이 책을 말한다 이러면 딱 이 한 문장을 소개할 수 있을 것 같아요

If I really have to talk about this book, I think I can introduce just this one sentence.

슬며시 우리들의 이야기로 한번 시작해 보겠습니다

Let's quietly start with our story.

제가 질문을 그냥 큰 걸 잡았어요

I just took a big question.

왜냐면 이 질문을 물어보면

Because if you ask this question...

사실 어떻게 답하냐에 따라서 그 사람이 생각하는

In fact, depending on how you answer, it reflects what that person thinks.

느끼는 공포감이 다르거든요

The feeling of fear is different.

그러니까 마치 못 먹는 음식이

So it's like food that can't be eaten.

물어보냐가 뭘 좋아하냐보다

"Is it asking what someone likes rather than what they want?"

그 사람을 더 잘 알게 될 수도 있거든요

You might get to know that person better.

그래서 제 질문은 내가 무서워하는 공포는

So my question is about the fear that I am scared of.

또는 내가 생각할 때 가장 무서운 공포

Or the scariest fear I can think of.

나에게 그게 뭔지 알려주시면 재밌을 것 같습니다

I think it would be interesting if you could tell me what that is.

공포라고 떠올렸을 때 딱 하나가 생각나는 게 있었는데

When I thought of fear, there was one thing that came to mind.

저는 꿈이요

I am a dream.

제가 뭔가 상상에 의한 것에서 뭔가 공포감을 많이 느꼈던 것 같은 게

I think I felt a lot ofFear from something that was based on my imagination.

저는 사실 매일 꿈을 꾸거든요

Actually, I dream every day.

꿈을 안 꾸는 날이 없어요

I never have a day without dreaming.

그리고

And

이게 신기한 게

This is what's amazing.

예전에 꿨던 꿈 같은데

It seems like a dream I had before.

그걸 또 반복해서 꾼단 말이죠

That means you keep dreaming about it repeatedly.

근데 이제 그 꿈들이 사실 어릴 때는

But now those dreams, in fact, when I was young,

굉장히 좀 무서웠던 꿈들이 많아가지고

I had a lot of dreams that were quite scary.

제가 꿈꾸는 거를 굉장히 무서워했던 것 같아요

I think I've been very scared of what I dream about.

그게 제일 큰 공포였고

That was the biggest fear.

내가 또 여기서 그 꿈을 똑같이 만났는데

I met that dream here the same way again.

항상 같은 공포를 느끼는 거잖아요

You always feel the same fear.

그게 너무 싫었어요

I hated that so much.

똑같은 꿈을 꿔요 근데?

I have the same dream, but?

네 전개도 똑같고 결마도 똑같아요

Yes, the development is the same and the conclusion is the same too.

근데 이제 다만

But now, just...

제가 최근에 만났던 인물로만 바뀌는 거예요

It's just changing to the people I've recently met.

플롯 자체는 그대로고

The plot itself remains the same.

네 그래서 결말도 알고 있어요

Yes, I know the ending too.

알아서 더 무서워요

It's scarier when I think about it myself.

신기한데요?

It's fascinating, isn't it?

그럼 제가 아는 안 좋은 꿈이 있어요

Well, I know of a bad dream.

그건 뭐냐면 꿈이 발전되는 거

What it means is that dreams evolve.

그러니까 예를 들면 내가 어렸을 때 꿨던 꿈은

So for example, the dream I had when I was young is...

뭐 산책을 하다가 개를 만났어요

I met a dog while walking.

2, 3년 뒤에 다시 꿨는데

I dreamt about it again after 2 or 3 years.

산책을 하다가 개를 만났는데 날 물었어요

I met a dog while taking a walk, and it bit me.

그리고 몇 년 뒤에 꿨는데 산책을 하다가 개를 만나서 물었는데

And a few years later, I had a dream where I met a dog while walking and asked it.

내 다리가 떨어졌어요

My leg fell off.

아 이거 너무 무서운데 갑자기

Ah, this is really scary all of a sudden.

그래서 산책

So, a walk.

근데 그리고 또 몇 년 뒤에 꿨는데

But then, I had another one a few years later.

산책을 하다가 개를 만나서 물려서 다리가 뜯겼는데

I was walking when I encountered a dog, and I got bitten, resulting in my leg getting torn.

앞에 여자가 서 있다

The woman is standing in front.

이런 식의 발전되는 꿈이

A dream that develops in this way.

진짜 안 좋은 꿈이에요

It's really a bad dream.

꿈이라는 얘기를 들었는데

I heard a story about a dream.

그렇게 똑같이 반복되는 꿈은 모르겠네요

I don't know about dreams that repeat exactly like that.

그것도 나름대로 보셨습니다

You saw it in your own way too.

근데 저도 딱 한 번 발전된 적이 있는 게

But there was one time I did improve.

맨날 같은 플롯을 꾼다 했잖아요

You said you keep dreaming the same plot every day.

근데 제가 마을을 방문하는 꿈이 하나 있는데

But I have a dream of visiting the village.

어떨 때는 그 마을에 있던 꿈 속의 인물이

Sometimes, the character from my dreams that was in that town...

저한테 너무 오랜만에 왔다

It's been such a long time since I've seen you.

라고 말을 건 거예요 먼저

I first spoke up by saying that.

그래가지고

So, then.

에어컨 바람 때문일 수도 있습니다 여러분

It could be because of the air conditioning wind, everyone.

계속 똑같은 꿈을 꾸고

I keep having the same dream.

한 번도 그 인물이 저한테 그 얘기를 한 적이 없는데

That person has never told me that story.

오랜만에 왔다 라고 말한 적이 없는데

I never said that I came after a long time.

돌아가니까 그때 좀 소름이 돋더라고요

Going back gave me chills.

딱 한 번 그렇게 발전된 적이 있습니다

There was only one time it developed like that.

오 좋습니다 약간 서늘해졌어요

Oh, that's great! It's gotten a bit cool.

여러분 혹시 악몽을 꿨었어요

Have you ever had a nightmare?

가위 말고요 악몽을 꿨어요

Not scissors, I had a nightmare.

앞에 막 귀신

There's a ghost right in front.

범죄자가 나타나서 날 괴롭혀요

A criminal has appeared and is bothering me.

도망가고 싶은데 꿈에서 잘 못 달리기도 하고

I want to run away, but I can't run properly in my dreams.

힘들잖아요 그때 깨는 제일 쉬운 방법이 하나 있습니다

It's hard, isn't it? There's one easy way to wake up then.

뭔가요?

What is it?

먼저 혹시 아시나요?

Do you know first, by any chance?

아주 단순하게 하시면 돼요 기도한다 이러지 마시고요

Just keep it very simple; instead of saying "I'm praying," don't do that.

박수를 치려고 해보세요

Try to clap your hands.

박수를요?

Applause?

어 박수

Oh, applause!

그래서 실제로 박수를 치려고 엄청

So I actually clapped a lot.

단순하게 노력을 하면 꿈에서 거의 박수가 잘 안 쳐져요

Simply putting in effort does not often lead to applause in dreams.

큰 소리를 내면서 박수를 계속 치는

Clapping loudly while making a lot of noise.

이 약간 액션을 취하려고 꿈에서 하다 보면

If you try to take some action in a dream...

진짜로 잠결에 박수를 칠 수도 있고

You might actually clap your hands in your sleep.

그러면서 꿈에서 깨는 경우도 있고요

Sometimes, I also wake up from a dream.

보통 그 정도로 손까지 컨트롤을 하면

If you can control your hands to that extent, normally...

그 꿈에 보통 악몽이 금방 없어져요

In that dream, ordinary nightmares disappear quickly.

마치 가위에서 빠져나오는 방법도

It's like a way to escape from scissors.

발가락에 힘줘가지고 하나에

딱 빠져나오는 방법이 있듯이

Just as there is a way to escape.

꿈에서도 악몽을 꾸셨다 하면

If you had a nightmare even in your dreams,

박수를 치거나 큰 소리를 내는 거구나

It's about clapping or making loud noises.

이런 걸 하시면 좋은데

It would be good if you did something like this.

근데 만약에 박수를 쳤는데

But what if I clapped?

계속 꿈에서 반복적으로 하시면

보통 멈추죠

하지만 안 떠오르시죠 보통

But you usually don't remember, right?

막상 또 같은 플러스로 또 흘러가게 돼 있다

In the end, it tends to flow into the same plus again.

갑자기 너 오랜만에 왔다

You suddenly came back after a long time.

진짜 무서웠어요 그때

It was really scary back then.

예전에 어릴 때 살던 그 집에 살 때가

When I lived in that house when I was younger.

정말 가위를 정말 많이 눌렸는데

I really pressed the scissors a lot.

그 꿈 속에서 제가

In that dream, I

외할머니 집에 놀러 갔어요

I went to visit my grandmother's house.

되게 구체적이네요

That's very specific.

매번 똑같은 꿈을 꾸다 보니까 이제 플러스를 외웠어요

Since I keep having the same dream every time, I've now memorized the plus.

외할머니 집에 갔다가 행사를 다 마치고

After going to my grandmother's house and finishing the event.

이제 집에 돌아간다고 밤길에 이제

I'm going home now on a night road.

막 그 주차장 골목으로 빠져나와서 걷고 있는데

I just turned out of that parking lot alley and was walking.

어떤 여자가 항상 똑같은 곳에 서 있거든요

There is a woman who always stands in the same place.

근데 저한테 갑자기 말도 안 해요

But suddenly, they don't talk to me at all.

그냥 선물 상자를 딱 들고 있다가

Just holding the gift box tightly.

제가 지나갈 때쯤에 건네줘요

Give it to me around the time I pass by.

근데 건네주는데 그 선물 상자가 되게 알록달록하거든요

But the gift box is very colorful when they hand it over.

옆에 숫자 9가 적혀있고

There is a number 9 written next to it.

제가 그거 받자마자

As soon as I receive that.

항상 눈을 딱 뜨는데 꿈에서 깨는 거죠

I'm always wide awake, but it's as if I'm waking up from a dream.

눈을 딱 뜨는데

I suddenly opened my eyes.

구석에 제 시선이 항상 그 벽 구석에 가있단 말이죠

My gaze always goes to that corner of the wall.

실제로 눈을 뜬 거죠?

네 눈을 뜬 거고 항상 그 눈을 뜨고 나면

You have opened your eyes, and whenever you open those eyes...

시선이 항상 그 벽 구석쯤 가있어요

My gaze is always around that corner of the wall.

근데 거기에 이제 뭔가 그런 선물 상자가

But then there's this gift box there.

얼핏얼핏 보인다 싶으면 가위를 눌려요

If it seems like I can see it, I press the scissors.

아 그러니까 꿈에서 연결돼서 가위까지 눌려버리는

Oh, so it means being connected in a dream and even getting sleep paralysis?

최악의 종합세트네요

It's the worst combo set.

그쵸 근데 이게 어느 정도까지 됐냐면

Right, but to what extent has this gone?

같은 꿈을 반복해서 꾼다고 했잖아요

You said you keep having the same dream.

그러다 보니까 제가 굳이 그 꿈을

So it turns out that I didn't necessarily pursue that dream.

꿈이 먼저 저한테 오지 않아도

Even if the dream doesn't come to me first

제가 그 꿈을 꾸려고 생각하고

I'm thinking about dreaming that dream.

숫자 9가 적혀 선물 상자를 그 한 곳에 응시하면서

Staring at the gift box with the number 9 written on it.

생각만 해도 가위가 슬슬 오더라고요

Just thinking about it makes my anxiety slowly creep in.

아 지금도 그러세요?

지금은 안 그래요

Not right now.

근데 뭔가 그 자리가 안 좋았나 봐요

But it seems that the seat wasn't good.

또 다른 해결 방법이 있습니다

There is another solution.

풍수 이런 건 아니고

It's not about feng shui.

저도 오컬트 관련된 책을 좋아해서 한동안 봤는데

I also like books related to the occult, so I read them for a while.

생각보다 인간은 물리적이다

Humans are more physical than expected.

단순하다는 거예요

It's simple.

자꾸 그 구석에서 귀신이 보여요

I keep seeing a ghost in that corner.

그 구석을 메꿔버려요

Let's fill that corner up.

책으로 덮든지 꽃 화병을 두든지

Whether to cover it with a book or place a flower vase.

거울 빼고는 다 괜찮거든요 인형하고

Everything is fine except for the mirror and the doll.

거울은 너무 무섭는데

The mirror is really scary.

그건 더 무서운 짓이니까

That's scarier.

그러지 말고 거기를 바꾼다든지

Don't do that and change that instead.

침대 방향을 바꾸다든지

Change the direction of the bed.

라고 하면 생각보다 많이 해결된다

If you say that, it gets resolved more than you think.

더 쉬운 해결 방법이 있습니다

There is an easier solution.

불을 켜고 주무세요

Sleep with the light on.

그럼 대체로 웬만한 공포가 없어져요

Then, in general, most fears disappear.

대신 피로도가 올라가기 때문에

Instead, the level of fatigue increases.

그것도 그 나름대로의 공포인데요

That's a fear in its own right.

생각보다

More than I thought.

꿈 좋네요

That's a nice dream.

근데 좀 무섭네요 그 숫자 9는
