네 형제들아 너희가 스스로 손함이 가득하고 모든 지식이 차서

"Brothers, you are filled with yourselves and your knowledge."

능히 서로 권하는 자임을 나도 확신하노라

I am also convinced that you are indeed able to encourage one another.

그러나 내가 너희로 다시 생각나게 하려고

However, I want to remind you again.

하나님께서 내게 주신 은혜로 말미암아 더욱 담대히 대략 너희에게 썬노니

I boldly proclaim to you, thanks to the grace that God has given me.

이 은혜는 곧 나로 이방인을 위하여 그리스도 예수의 일꾼이 되어

This grace allows me to become a servant of Christ Jesus for the sake of the Gentiles.

하나님의 보금에 제사장 직분을 하게 하사

To be appointed as a priest in the gospel of God.

이 이방인을 제물로 드리는 것이 성령 안에서 거룩하게 되어 받으실만하게 하려 하십니다

He intends to make this foreigner holy in the Holy Spirit so that he may be acceptable as an offering.

그러므로 내가 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 일에 대하여

Therefore, regarding the work of God in Christ Jesus,

자랑하는 것이 있거니와 그리스도께서 이방인들을 순종하게 하기 위하여

I have something to brag about, that Christ became a servant to the Gentiles to make them obedient.

나를 통하여 역사하신 것 외에는 내가 감히 말하지 아니하노라

I dare not speak of anything except what has been accomplished through me.

그 일은 말과 행위로 표적과 기사의 능력으로 성령의 능력으로 이루어졌으며

That work was accomplished through the power of the Holy Spirit, with signs and wonders manifested in words and actions.

그리하여 내가 예루살렘으로부터 두루 행하여

And so, I went from Jerusalem to Tyre.

일룰리곤까지 그리스도의 보금을 편만하게 전하였노라

I have thoroughly preached the gospel of Christ to Illyricum.

또 내가 그리스도의 이름을 부르는 곳에는 보금을 전하지 않기를 힘썼노니

And I have worked hard not to preach the gospel where the name of Christ is called.

나는 남의 터 위에 건축하지 아니하려 합니다

I will not build on someone else's land.

기록된 바 주의 소식을 받지 못한 자들이 볼 것이요

Those who have not received news from the authorities will see it recorded.

듣지 못한 자들이 깨달으리라 함과 같으니라

The ones who could not hear will come to understand.

아멘

사람이 세상에 살면서 자기가 누구인지 분명히 알고

A person, while living in the world, should clearly know who they are.

또 자기가 하는 일에 대해서 자부심을 갖고

Also take pride in the work you do.

또 나름대로 결실을 맺으며 살 수 있다 그러면

Then I can also live in a way that bears fruit in my own way.

아마 그 인생은 가장 복된 아름다운 인생이 될 것입니다

That life will probably be the most blessed and beautiful life.

내가 누구인 줄 알며 내가 하는 일에 대해서 자부심을 갖고

I know who I am and take pride in what I do.

더욱더 나가서 많은 업적을 남기면서

Going further, leaving behind many achievements.

살다가 우리 주님 앞에 서서 칭찬을 받을 수 있다 그러면

If we can stand before our Lord and receive praise while living, then...

그것보다 더 훌륭한 아름다운 삶은 없다고 생각이 됩니다

I believe there is no more wonderful and beautiful life than that.

오늘 본문 말씀 보면 사도 바울이 조금 개인적인 이야기를 하기 시작합니다

Today, in the scripture, the Apostle Paul begins to share a bit of personal story.

그러면서 오늘 본문의 핵심 구절이 되는 17절을 보겠습니다

Now, let’s take a look at verse 17, which is the key verse of today's passage.

17절을 보겠습니다

Let's look at verse 17.

17절을 보시면 이렇게 말했는데요

If you look at verse 17, it says this:

그러므로 내가 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 일에 대하여 자랑하는 것이 있거니와

Therefore, I have something to boast about regarding the work of God in Christ Jesus.

굉장히 개인적인 얘기를 합니다

I'm going to talk about something very personal.

내가 그리스도 안에서 하나님의 일에 대하여

About God's work in Christ.

다시 말해서 내가 하나님의 일을 하고 있는데

In other words, I am doing God's work.

이것은 참 자랑스러운 것이다

This is truly something to be proud of.

자기가 하는 일이 자랑스럽다

He/she is proud of what he/she does.

물론 우리가 오늘 제가 말씀드리겠지만

Of course, I will talk about it today.

궁극적으로는 하나님의 영광을 드러내는

Ultimately revealing the glory of God.

복음을 전하는 일입니다

It is the work of spreading the Gospel.

그런데도 불구하고

Nevertheless,

그는 자신있게 말하기를

He confidently says

자랑스러운 일을 내가 하고 있다

I am doing something to be proud of.

여러분이 하신 일에 대해서 자랑스러운 자부심을 가지고 사십니까?

Do you have a sense of pride in the work you have done?

NIV는 이것을 이렇게 번역했는데요

The NIV translated this like this.

내가 하나님을 섬기는 그 서비스가 있는데

I have a service in which I serve God.

I glory in that work

나는 그 일에 자부심을 느낀다.

내가 그 일을 하면서 진짜 영광 가운데 있고

I am truly honored to be doing that work.

영광을 위해서 영광이 충만한 삶을 살고 있다

I am living a life filled with glory for the sake of glory.

저는 오늘 이 말씀을 통해서 여러분들의 생애를 다시 한번 회고해보고

Today, through this message, I would like to reflect on your lives once again.

현주소를 다시 한번 재확인하고 미래에 대한 아름다운 계획을 세우면서

Reconfirming the present address once again and making beautiful plans for the future.

진짜 한 번 사는 인생 멋지고 특별히 하나님께 영광이 되는

Life is truly beautiful and special, and it brings glory to God.

영광 가운데 사는 그 축복이 임하기를 주의 이름으로 추건합니다

I pray that the blessing of living in glory will come upon you in the name of the Lord.

오늘 본능 말씀 잠깐 배경을 말씀드리면

Let me briefly explain the background of the instinct I talked about today.

이제 여러분과 제가 지난 얼마나 됐는지 모르겠어요

I don't know how long it has been since you and I last met.

오늘 이제 45번째니까 오랫동안 로마서를 공부했는데

Today is the 45th time, so I have been studying Romans for a long time.

로마서 1장부터 11장까지 구원의 교리에 대해서

About the doctrine of salvation from Romans chapters 1 to 11.

바울이 포괄적으로 진짜 잘 설명을 했습니다

Paul explained it very well in a comprehensive manner.

그리고 나서 12장부터는 이제 생활면으로 들어와서

And then from chapter 12, it comes into the aspect of daily life.

그러면 하나님의 모든 자비의 하심을 받은 사람들이

Then the people who have received all of God's mercy.

이 세상에서 어떻게 살아야 되느냐

How should I live in this world?

마음의 변화를 받아 세상을 본받지 말고 마음의 변화를 받아

Do not follow the world by accepting changes in the heart, but accept changes in the heart.

하나님의 뜻을 헤아리며 살아라

Live by understanding God's will.

그 하나님의 뜻을 쉽게 말씀드리면 서로 사랑하는 것이다 라고 얘기했습니다

To put it simply, the will of God is to love one another.

교회 안에서 사랑하고 원수까지 사랑하고

To love within the church and even to love one's enemies.

2주 전에는 우리가 아직 하나님을 못는 이방인들

Two weeks ago, we were still Gentiles who did not know God.

겉모습이 우리와는 다르고 풍습이 다르고 모든 면에서 다른 이방인들이지만

They are strangers who differ from us in appearance, customs, and every aspect.

그 이방인들을 사랑하면서 사는 것이 곧 하나님의 뜻이라고

Loving those outsiders is indeed the will of God.

사도 바울이 강조했습니다

The Apostle Paul emphasized.

그러면서 사실 로마서 전체의 주제는

In doing so, the main theme of the entire book of Romans is...

15장 13절로 마친다고 많은 학자들이 얘기합니다

Many scholars say that it ends at chapter 15, verse 13.

그래서 전체 메인 바디는 로마서 15장 13절에서 끝이 나고

So the entire main body ends with Romans 15:13.

오늘부터 이제 우리가 16장까지는 끝냈는 이야기입니다

From today, we have finished the story up to chapter 16.

그래서 우리가 오늘 보는 말씀은

So the message we are looking at today is

이제 전체적인 어떤 큰 주제의 이야기를 다 끝내고 나서

After finishing the story about the overall big theme,

사도 바울이 굉장히 이제는 개인적으로 이야기를 해요

The Apostle Paul is now speaking very personally.

무슨 뭐 교회를 전체적으로 얘기하기보다는 굉장히 퍼스널하게

Rather than talking about the church as a whole, let's discuss it in a very personal way.

개인적으로 이렇게 칭찬을 하고

Personally, I give compliments like this.

개인적인 어떠한 미래 계획을 함께 나누고

Share any personal future plans together.

16장에 가서는 그가 그렇게 사랑하고 아끼던

In chapter 16, he loved and cherished it so much.

그 많은 동력자들을 또 소개하고 인사를 나누면서

While introducing and greeting all those many stakeholders.

이 거대한 로마서가 장을 내리게 됩니다

This gigantic Romans will come to an end.

저는 이 말씀에서 바울이 상당히 개인적인 이야기를 하는 것에 대해서

I find it quite personal that Paul is talking in this statement.

이게 또 은혜가 되는 거예요

This becomes a grace again.

왜 그러냐면 우리 신앙생활이라는 것은요

The reason is that our faith life is...

그냥 종교적인 이렇게 한번 모였다가 형식적으로 우리가

Let's just gather like this in a religious way and formally...

we go through the motions 순서에 따라서 절차에 따라서 끝나는 것이 아니라

We don't just go through the motions or follow the procedures to the end.

그야말로 영적이지만 개인적인 어떤 성도의 교제를 통해서

It is truly a spiritual yet personal communion through some saint.

우리가 하다님의 사랑을 만끽하게 될 줄은 믿습니다

We believe that we will be able to enjoy God's love.

조금 전에 연민아 집사님 감정하셨지만

A little while ago, you felt compassion, right, Deacon Yeonmin?

개인적으로 일대일로 만나서 멘토와 멘티가 그리스도 안에서

Personally, meeting one-on-one where mentor and mentee are in Christ.

보금으로 하나 되며 사랑을 함께 나눈 그런 개인적인 관계

A personal relationship that becomes one through the gospel and shares love together.

그 사랑의 어떤 교제가 있을 때 우리는 믿음으로 자라게 된다는

When there is some fellowship in that love, we grow in faith.

혹 잘못하게 되면

If you make a mistake.

영적인 사람들이 굉장히 임펄스널 개인적이지 못하게

Spiritual people are very impersonal.

사람들을 접근하지 못하도록 자기를 방어하면서

Defending yourself while preventing people from approaching.

굉장히 힘들고 외롭게 살아갈 수 있어요

You can live very hard and lonely.

그런데 바울을 보시면요

However, if you look at Paul...

바울이 얼마나 영적인 사도였습니까?

How spiritual of an apostle was Paul?

얼마나 거의 완벽주의자였습니까?

How much of a perfectionist were you?

그런데도 불구하고 교인들과 성도들과

Nevertheless, despite that, with the congregation and the faithful.

굉장히 개인적으로 친밀감 속에서 하나님의 사랑을 나누었던

Very personally shared God's love in intimacy.

그야말로 사랑이 충만한

Truly full of love.

사도였던 것을 우리가 보게 된다는 것입니다

It means that we see that it was the apostles.

혹시 저는 이제 오늘 설교를 하면서

By any chance, I am now going to give a sermon today.

혹시 여러분들 가운데 여러 가지 이유로

Perhaps among you all, for various reasons,

이렇게 좀 사람들을 멀리하시고

Please keep people at a distance like this.

또 개인적으로 교제하는 것을 좀 두려워하시는 분들

There are also those who are a bit afraid of dating personally.

오늘 이 말씀을 통해서 우리 하나님과의 깊은 교제뿐만 아니라

Through today's message, not only a deep communion with our God, but also...

우리 수평적으로도 이웃과의 아름다운 성도의 교제가 이루어지기를

May we have beautiful fellowship with our neighbors horizontally as well.

주님의 이름으로 추원합니다

자 14절을 보시면 이제 개인적인 이야기를 시작하면서 이렇게 시작하죠

Now, if you look at verse 14, it begins with a personal story like this.

내 형제들아 내 형제들아

My brothers, my brothers.

내 형제들아

My brothers.

참 이것이 놀라운 것이 사전적 일장을 보게 되면

Indeed, what is surprising is that when you look at the dictionary definition...

바울이 로마서를 시작을 쓰게 되면서

As Paul began to write the Book of Romans,

사실 로마 교회는 바울이 개척한 교회는 아니었습니다

In fact, the Roman Church was not one that Paul established.

그런데도 불구하고 사랑을 닮아서

Still resembling love despite everything.

아주 진실하게 귀한 말씀을 써서 로마 교인들에게 보냈는데

He wrote very sincerely precious words and sent them to the Roman believers.

로마서 1장에 우리가 서론을 보게 되면 이렇게 얘기를 했습니다

In Romans chapter 1, we see that the introduction says this.

로마에서 하나님의 사랑하심을 받고

Receiving God's love in Rome.

성도로 부르심을 받은 모든 자에게는

To all who are called to be saints

성도로 부르심을 받은 모든 자에게

To all who are called to be saints.

편지를 써

Write a letter.

거기는 타이틀이 성도였습니다

The title there was "Holy City."

근데 이제는 여기서 형제라고 얘기를 합니다

But now we call each other brothers here.

성도라는 것은 예수 그룹시대 십자가의 보혈로

Being a saint means through the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross.

의롭게 된 사람들을 성도 세인트라고 얘기합니다

Righteous people are referred to as saints.

보통 우리가 세인트라는 단어를 쓸 때

Usually, when we use the word "saint,"

성자라는 단어를 쓸 때

When using the word "saint."

과거에 하나님을 잘 섬겼던 본이 될 만한 큰 인물들을

Great figures who were exemplary in serving God in the past.

우리가 그 앞에 세인트라는 타이틀을 붙이죠

We attach the title of saint before him.

세인트 존, 세인트 메리, 세인트 루터

Saint John, Saint Mary, Saint Luther

세인트라는 단어를 쓰게 됩니다

The word "saint" is used.

근데 성경을 보게 되면

But when you look at the Bible,

예수 그룹시대 십자가의 보혈로 정결케 되고

Cleansed by the blood of the cross in the age of the Jesus group.

의롭게 된 사람들을 성도 세인트라고 얘기합니다

Those who are made righteous are called saints.

여러분들은 세인트입니다

You are all saints.

세인트라는 거예요

It's called a saint.

그게 여러분의 신분입니다

That is your identity.

놀란 것을 하나님 주셨다는 거예요

It means that God has given what is surprising.

그런데 여기 14제를 봐서는

But looking at verse 14 here,

성도라는 단어를 사용하지 않냐고

Aren't you using the word "saint"?

형제라는 단어를 썼어요 형제

I used the word brother. Brother.

성도라는 것은 성도라는 단어를 사용하지 않냐고

Doesn't the term "Saint" not use the word "saint"?

이것은 하나님 앞에서 내가 의롭게 된 호칭이고

This is the title by which I have been made righteous before God.

여기 형제라는 것은 수평적으로

Here, "brother" means horizontally.

내가 옆에 있는 사람들과 내가 어떤 관계인가

What is my relationship with the people next to me?

형제, 자매라는 것입니다 형제라는 것

It means being a brother or sister, being a sibling.

교회에는요 사실 다른 것들이 필요한 것이 아닙니다

What the church really needs is not other things.

우리는 그리스도 안에서 한 형제여 한 자매가 된 줄을 믿습니다

We believe that we have become one brother and one sister in Christ.

여러분 진짜 교회와 같은 아름다운 집단이

A beautiful group that is truly like a church.

세상에 또 어디 있겠습니까?

Where else would there be in the world?

교회 오면 어떻게 됩니까?

What happens when you go to church?

높은 사람이건 낮은 사람이건

Whether they are tall or short.

부유한 자금은 가난한 사람

The rich have funds, the poor do not.

권력이 있는 자건 없는 자건

Whether one has power or not.

집이 있는 자건 집이 없는 자건

Whether one has a home or not.

모든 사람들이 십자가 앞에서

Everyone is in front of the cross.

한 형제 자매가 된 줄을 믿습니다

I believe we have become like siblings.

그래서 우리 영어권 예배에

So in our English-speaking worship

그야말로 다민족들이 모여오고 있습니다

Indeed, diverse ethnic groups are coming together.

또 그야말로 사회적인 어떤 지위를 봤을 때도

Also, when looking at it from the perspective of social status...

높은 사람 낮은 사람

Tall person, short person.

그 노숙자들도 몰려오고 있어요

The homeless people are gathering too.

오늘도 일부 예배 끝나고

After some of the service today as well

우리 두 분이 이렇게 오셨는데

You both have come here like this.

소문이 그렇게 나고 있다는 거

I heard that rumors are going around like that.

이 올해의 예배가

This year's worship is

펜데이션스 교회에 가면

If you go to the Foundations Church.

따뜻하게 환영을 받는다

Receive a warm welcome.

할렐루야

Hallelujah

여러분 교회가 오늘날 욕을 많이 먹고 있는데

The church is being criticized a lot these days.

우리가 사실 그동안 별로 한 것도 많이 없어요

Actually, we haven't done much during that time.

그러나 토요일날 이렇게 아침에 나가서

However, going out like this on Saturday morning...

노숙자들을 위해서 음식을 나누고 사랑을 나누고

Sharing food and spreading love for the homeless.

또 한시 반에 예배에 오게 되면

If you come to the worship at one-thirty,

따뜻하게 환영을 하면서

Welcoming warmly.

진짜 아무 차별 없이

Really without any discrimination.

성경 말씀 그대로 차별 없이

Just as the Bible says, without discrimination.

우리를 환영하게 예수의 이름으로 친절하게 대하고 나니까

"Welcome us kindly in the name of Jesus."

소문이 퍼지고 있다는 것이요

The rumors are spreading.

교회가 이것이 하나님 앞에 나올 때에

When the church comes before God with this

우리는 아무것도 필요 없고

We need nothing.

아무 조건도 필요 없고

No conditions are necessary.

예수 앞에 나오게 되면

When you come before Jesus

그리스도 안에서 십자가 앞에서

Before the cross in Christ.

한 형제여 한 자매가 된 줄을 믿습니다

I believe we have become one brother and one sister.

바울이 얘기하기를

Paul said that

내 형제들아

My brothers.

그러면서 여기 14절을 보게 되면

Then we see here in verse 14.

로마 교인들을 칭찬을 좀 합니다

I’d like to give some praise to the Romans.

보십시오

Look.

너희가 스스로 선함이 가득하고

You are filled with goodness on your own.

이거 벌써 부럽지 않습니까?

Aren't you already envious of this?

선함이 가득하다는 것이에요

It means being full of goodness.

그들이 이 교회에 가고 있는 것과는 다르게

Unlike how they are going to this church.

예수 그리스도를 믿으며

Believing in Jesus Christ

선행으로 구원 받는 것이 아니라

It is not by good deeds that one is saved.

구원 받았기 때문에 삶이 변해서

Because I was saved, my life has changed.

선함이 충만했다는 것이죠

That means it was filled with goodness.

뿐만 아니라 모든 지식이 차서

Moreover, all knowledge is filled.

하나님에 대한 성적 말씀에 대한 지식이

Knowledge about sexual teachings regarding God

충만했다는 것입니다

It means that it was full.

그래서

So

능히 서로 권하는 자임을

Able to encourage one another.

나도 확신하노라

I am also sure.

능히

capable

영어성경에서는

In the English Bible,

컴피텐트라는 단어를 썼습니다

I used the word competent.

실력이 있다는 것이에요

It means that you have skills.

자신감이 있다는 것

Having confidence.

모든 것을 갖추었다는 것입니다

It means that everything is in place.

바울이 로마서를 쓰면서

While Paul was writing the Book of Romans

혹시 로마에 있는 교인들이 오해를 할까봐

I'm worried that the believers in Rome might misunderstand.

우리가 아는 대로 로마서 전체를 통해서

As we know, throughout the entire Book of Romans

아주 기본적인 구원의 교리부터 해서

Starting from the very basic doctrine of salvation

이스라엘과 이방인들의 연합에 대해서

About the union of Israel and the Gentiles.

교회론에 대해서 여러 가지 말씀 나누지 않습니까?

Don't we discuss various things about ecclesiology?

혹시 로마에 있는 교인들이 오해를 할까봐

I was worried that the believers in Rome might misunderstand.

아니 사도 바울이

No, the Apostle Paul.

우리를 그렇게 몰라도 너무 모르지

You don't know us at all, do you?

그래도 우리가 어느 정도 믿음이 있는 사람들인데

Still, we are a group of people who have some degree of faith.

하면서 혹시 오해를 할까봐

In case there might be a misunderstanding while doing this.

이 편지를 쭉 쓰고 나서는

After writing this letter all the way through,

그들을 칭찬하면서

While praising them

I know

I know.

당신들이 얼마나

How much you all...

그야말로 선한 일을 많이 하고

Indeed, doing a lot of good deeds.

하나님에 대한 지식이 있고

Having knowledge of God and

너무나 컴피텐

So comfy.

너무나 실력 있는 사람들에서

From very skilled people

서로 건면까지 할 수 있는

Able to exchange greetings with each other.

성숙한 그리시덤을 내가 확신합니다

I am confident in mature Christianity.

저는 우리 교회 교인들이

I am the members of our church.

이런 교인들이 되기를

I hope these church members become like this.

제 이름으로 추가합니다

I will add it under my name.

선한 일을 많이 하시고

Do a lot of good deeds.

하나님에 대한 지식이 높아져가며

As knowledge of God increases.

서로 건면할 수 있는

able to mutually encourage each other

서로 가르쳐주시는

Teaching each other.

서로 양육할 수 있는

Able to nurture each other.

성숙한 그리시덤이 되기를

May you become a mature Christian.

어떤 열매를 과실을 이미 맺었는가

물론 자기 자랑은 아니에요

하나님 자랑

God's pride.

구체적으로 어떤 사역에 열매를 맺고 있는가

What specific ministry is bearing fruit?

그 다음 네 번째로

미래의 계획이 무엇인가

What are your plans for the future?

오늘은 첫 세 번째

세 가지만 먼저 살피도록 하겠는데요

신분에 대해서

About identity

사역에 대해서

About ministry.

그 다음에 열매에 대해서

Next, about the fruit.

그리고 미래에 대해서

And about the future.

미래의 계획은 아마 2주 후에

말씀을 우리가 계속

이어갈 것 같습니다

여러분 오늘 말씀을 들으시면서

As you listen to today's message,

바울이라는 사람의 삶을 내가 왜 배워야 돼

Why should I learn about the life of a person named Paul?

그렇게 생각하지 마시고요

Don’t think like that.

하나님께서

God

성경에 나오는 인물들은

The characters mentioned in the Bible are

그들을 보고 배우라고

Learn by watching them.

성경에 기록한 줄을 믿습니다

I believe in the words recorded in the Bible.

Let's follow the life of Apostle Paul a bit.

우리도 그리스도 안에서

나의 사명이 무엇이며

What is my mission?

또 내가 어떤 열매를 맺어야 되며

And what kind of fruit should I bear?

또 미래에 어떤 계획을 가지고 살아야 되는지를

I need to think about what plans I should make for the future.

우리가 한번 살펴볼 수 있기를

I hope we can take a look at it once.

첫 번째

First

사도 바울은 자기의 신분을 이렇게 소개합니다

Apostle Paul introduces his identity like this.

16절에 보면

In verse 16,

그리스도 예수의 일꾼이 돼요

Be a servant of Christ Jesus.

그리스도 예수의 일꾼이다

I am a servant of Christ Jesus.

이력서를 쓸 때

When writing a resume

사도 바울은 그리스도의 종이라는 단어를 썼었고요

Apostle Paul used the term "servant of Christ."

여기서는 그리스도의 일꾼이다

Here, we are servants of Christ.

여러분

Everyone

바울이 자기를 소개할 내용이 없어서

Since Paul has nothing to introduce about himself.

이런 단어를 써서는

Using such words...

Would you have used such a word?

절대로 아닙니다

Absolutely not.

바울은 그 당시에 엘리트 중에 엘리트입니다

Paul was an elite among elites at that time.

지성인 중에 지성인이었습니다

오늘날 얘기하면

최고의 학문을 닦았던

예수 그리스도의 일꾼이 나의 신분입니다

여기 나오는 일꾼이라는 단어는

The word "worker" mentioned here is

Public officials are public servants.

When talking about public agents

여기 일꾼이라는 단어를 썼습니다

The word "worker" has been used here.

우리는 보통 일꾼하면

When we usually think of workers,

노동일을 하고 이런 사람들 생각하는데

I'm thinking about people who do labor work.

그런 것보다는 굉장히 좀

Rather than that, it's quite a bit...

수준이 있고

It is of a high standard.

중요한 직책을 맡은 사람들

People in important positions.

특별히 나라를 위해서 중요한 직책을 맡은 사람들을

Those who hold important positions for the country specifically.

일꾼이라고 불렀다고 합니다

They say they were called a worker.

그러나 이 단어가

However, this word is

성경에 와서는 좀 다르게

It is a bit different when it comes to the Bible.

사용이 됐는데요

It was used.

두 가지 면에서는

In two ways

첫째는

제사장들을 얘기할 때

When talking about the priests

하나님의 일꾼이다

I am a servant of God.

우리 영원한 대제사장이 되시는

Our eternal high priest.

예수님을 소개할 때

When introducing Jesus.

일꾼이라는 단어를 썼습니다

I used the word "worker."

특별히 히브리서 8장 1, 2절에 보면

Specifically, in Hebrews 8:1-2, it says

지금 우리가 하는 말의 요점은

The point of what we're saying right now is

이러한 대제사장이 우리에게 있다는 것이라

This means that we have such a high priest.

예수님이죠

It's Jesus.

그는 하늘에서 지극히 크신 이에

He is the Most High in heaven.

보호자 우편에 앉으셨으니

Since you are sitting at the guardian's mail,

성서와 참장막에서

In the Bible and the true tabernacle

섬기는 이시라

I am a servant.

일꾼이라는 것

Being a worker.

제사장이 있었습니다

There was a priest.

그런데 예수님은 여기서

However, Jesus here

우리의 영원한

Our eternity

일꾼이라는 것입니다

그러니까 신약에 와서는

대충 교회에서 일하면서

While working at the church roughly.

그게 아니라

제사장직의 사명을

The mission of the priesthood.

그래서 16절도 보게 되면

하나님의 복음에 제사장 직분을 하게 하사

To serve as a priest in the gospel of God.

그렇죠?

That's right?

제사장, 우리의 신약입니다

The priest, our new covenant.

그런데도 불구하고

Nevertheless

바울이 이야기하기를

Paul said that

나는 그리스도 일꾼이 되어

I have become a servant of Christ.

하나님의 복음에 제사장 직분을 하게 하신다

He has appointed us to the priesthood of God's gospel.

그렇게 여기서 이야기를 하고 있다

So we are talking here like that.

바울은 그리스도 일꾼으로서

Paul, as a servant of Christ

복음에 제사장의 직분을 가지고 살던 사람이었다

He was a person who lived with the priestly office of the Gospel.

그것이 자기의 신분이라는 거예요

That is their identity.

그런데 바울이 그 이야기를 하게 되면서

However, as Paul began to tell that story,

이것은 우연히 이루어지는 것도 아니고

This does not happen by chance.

내가 원해서 된 것도 아니고

It wasn't because I wanted it to be this way.

16절에 이 은혜는

In verse 16, this grace is

하나님의 은혜로서 내가

By God's grace, I am

감히 복음에 제사장의 직분을 감당하는

Dare to bear the priestly duty of the gospel.

예수 그리스도의 일꾼이 되었다는 거예요

I have become a servant of Jesus Christ.

여러분 아시는 대로

As you all know,

바울은 원래 이름이 사울이죠

Paul's original name is Saul.

예수님을 만나기 전에는

Before meeting Jesus

예수님을 핍박하던 자십니다

He is the one who persecuted Jesus.

온갖 노력을 다했던 사람입니다

I am someone who made every effort.

예수와는 거리가 먼 사람입니다

He is a person far from Jesus.

예수를 핍박하던 사람입니다

I am someone who persecuted Jesus.

죄인 중에 괴수라고 본인이 얘기를 했습니다

He said that he is a monster among sinners.

그런데도 불구하고

Despite that

예수님을 만나서

Meeting Jesus

이제는 예수님의 일꾼이 되다 보니까

Now that I have become a worker for Jesus.

What can I say?

What can I say?

이것은 오직 하나님의 은혜로다

This is solely by the grace of God.

그러면서 은혜 가운데 이루어졌다고

And it was accomplished by grace.

고백을 하고 있습니다

I am making a confession.

그래서 바울은

So Paul

이 은혜를 다 기억하면서

"Remembering all this grace."

하나님 앞에 감사하며 충성을 다해

Giving thanks before God and fulfilling my loyalty.

잘 아는 디모드의 전서 1장 12절을 보시면

If you look at 1 Timothy 1:12, which you know well.

나를 능하게 하신 그리스도 예수 우리 주께

To Christ Jesus our Lord who empowered me.

내가 감사함은

What I am grateful for is

나를 충성때에 여겨

Consider me in times of loyalty.

내게 직분을 맡기시미니

You have entrusted me with a position.

내가 전에는 비방자여

I used to be a slanderer.

박해자여

Persecutor.

폭행자였으나

Although he was an assailant

도리어 극류를 입은 것은

On the contrary, it is the one who wears the extreme robes.

내가 믿지 아니할 때

When I do not believe.

알지 못하고 행하였습니다

I acted without knowing.

우리 주의 은혜가

The grace of our Lord

그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음과

The faith that is in Christ Jesus

사람과 함께 넘치도록 풍성하였도다

It overflowed abundantly with people.

믿보다 모든 사람이 받을 만한 이 말이여

This is a saying that everyone deserves to accept.

그리스도 예수께서 죄인을 구원하시려고

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.

세상에 임하셨다 하였도다

He has come into the world.

죄인 중에 내가 괴순이라

"I am the greatest sinner among the sinners."

아멘

은혜 가운데

In grace.

예수 그리스도의 일꾼이 되었다니

I have become a servant of Jesus Christ.

자 그런데 여러분

But, everyone...

예수님의 은혜가

The grace of Jesus.

바울만 이 은혜를 받았습니까

Did only Paul receive this grace?

여러분과 저도 예수를 믿는 모든 사람들은

All of you and I, along with all who believe in Jesus, are...

이 은혜를 받은 줄을 믿습니다

I believe that I have received this grace.

물론 여러분이 바울과 같이

Of course, like you and Paul.

예수 믿는 사람을 직접 가서 핍박하고

Persecute those who believe in Jesus directly.

감옥에 집어넣고

Put in jail.

뭐 그렇지 아니었다 할지라도

Well, even if it weren't so.

여러분 마음속에 성경은 뭐라고 얘기합니까

What does the Bible say in your hearts?

우리가 예수를 믿기 전에는

Before we believed in Jesus

하나님과 원수되었다고 얘기합니다

They say they have become enemies with God.

하나님과 원수된 사람들이

People who are enemies with God.

예수 그리스도를 통해서 하나님의 친구가 되었다는 것

Becoming a friend of God through Jesus Christ.

예수께서 우리를 일꾼으로 불러주신 것에 대해서

About Jesus calling us as workers

감사하는 우리가 되기를

May we be those who are grateful.

주의 이름으로 추구합니다

I seek in the name of the Lord.

여러분과 저의 신문도 뭡니까

What is the newspaper for you and me?

예수의 일꾼이라는 것

Being a servant of Jesus.

왜 그렇습니까

Why is that?

우리도 복음의 제사장으로 부르심을 받았다는 것입니다

It means that we have been called as priests of the gospel.

여러분 제사장이 했던 일은 뭡니까

What did the priest do?

백성들을 대표해서

On behalf of the people.

구약에 오게 되면

When it comes to the Old Testament

백성들이 하나님의 성전에 들어가서

The people entered God's temple.

지성소에 들어가서 예배 드릴 수가 없고

I cannot enter the Holy of Holies to worship.

용서를 받을 수가 없기 때문에

Because I cannot be forgiven.

하나님께서는 제사장이라는

God is a priest.

그런 intermediate person

That kind of intermediate person.

중간 역할을 할 수 있는 사람을 보내셔서

Please send someone who can play a mediating role.

제사장이 되게 하셨습니다

He has made me a priest.

그리고 제사장에 가서 양을 드리고

And go to the priest and offer the lamb.

그럼 제사장이 그 양을 잡아가지고서

Then the priest will take the lamb and kill it.

피를 가지고 지성소에 들어가서 뿌리면서

Entering the Holy of Holies with blood and sprinkling it.

하나님이 저 죄인들을 용서해 주옵소서

God, please forgive these sinners.

그 역할을 감당하던 것이 뭐예요

What was it that you were taking on that role?

제사장이에요

I am a priest.

중간 역할을 하던 사람은 제사장입니다

The person playing the intermediary role is the priest.

그러나 제사장들을 잠시 있다가 다 죽게 됩니다

However, the priests will die shortly.

제사장 자신도 죄가 있었습니다

The priest himself also had sins.

그렇기 때문에 영원한 완전한 대제사장이 되시는

That is why He becomes the eternal and perfect High Priest.

예수 그리스도스 이 땅에 오셔서

Jesus Christ came to this earth.

우리를 대신하여 십자가에 달려 죽으심으로

By dying on the cross in our place.

이제는 더 이상 어린 양의 피가 아니라

It is no longer the blood of a lamb.

예수 그리스도의 십자가의 보일로

By the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross.

우리가 용서하고

We forgive and

마음을 받게 된 줄 믿으시길 바랍니다

그런데 우리가 이제 보금의 제사장이 되었다는 거예요

However, we have now become the priests of the gospel.

내가 믿지 않는 자들에게 가서

Go to those who do not believe.

예수 그리스도의 보금을 전해서

Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

오늘 말씀 보게 되면 이방인들을 저들에게 보금을 전해서

When we look at today's message, it is about delivering the gospel to the Gentiles.

저들로 알고는 하나님의 제물이 되게 할 때

When they become the offering of God.

여러분과 저는 보통 사람들이 아니라

You and I are not ordinary people.

예수 그리스도의 일꾼이 되게 된다는 것입니다

It means becoming a servant of Jesus Christ.

여러분 우리에게 중요한 직구는 타이틀은 다른 것이 아닙니다

Everyone, the important direct purchase for us is not something different from the title.

세상의 CEO가 부러운 것이 아닙니다

I am not envious of the CEOs of the world.

어떤 교수가 부러운 것이 아닙니다

It's not that I'm envious of any professor.

무슨 의사가 부러운 것이 아닙니다

It's not that I'm envious of any doctor.

그런 것들이 세상에서 우리가 필요에 따라서 다 가지고 있는 것이지만

Those are things that we all have in the world according to our needs, but...

진짜 중요한 것은

What really matters is

예수 그리스도 안에서 보금의 일꾼이 된 것이

Being a worker of the gospel in Jesus Christ.

가장 중요한 줄을 믿습니다

I believe in the most important line.

사실 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 모든 직업과 타이틀은요

In fact, all the jobs and titles that God has given us...

이것을 감당하기 위해서 우리에게 주신 줄을 믿습니다

I believe that it has been given to us to handle this.

여러분 자부심을 가십시오

Have pride, everyone.

여러분이 그리스도의 보금을 직접 간접적으로

You are directly or indirectly sharing the gospel of Christ.

기도로 여러분의 삶으로서

As a prayer in your life.

여러 가지 방법으로 직접 나가서 보금을 전하시는

Going out in various ways to directly share the gospel.

그러한 삶을 살면

If you live such a life

여러분은 예수 그리스도의 일꾼이 될 것입니다

You will be servants of Jesus Christ.

예수 그리스도의 일꾼 보금의 제사장인 줄을 믿습니다

I believe I am a servant of Jesus Christ and a priest of the Gospel.

두 번째 바울은 이러한 신분을 가지고

The second Paul has this identity.

어떤 일 어떤 사명을 감당하며 살았는가

What kind of work and mission did you live for?

쉽게 말씀드리면 그리스도의 보금을 이방인에게 전하는 것을 했다는 것이죠

To put it simply, it means that I preached the gospel of Christ to the Gentiles.

16절부터 18절을 보십시오

Please look at verses 16 to 18.

이 은혜는 곧 나로 이방인을 위하여

This grace is for me to serve the Gentiles.

대상이 분명했습니다

The target was clear.

이방인을 위하여 그리스도 예수의 일꾼이 되어

Becoming a servant of Christ Jesus for the Gentiles.

하나님의 보금의 제사장 직분을 하게 하십시오

Please let me serve in the priesthood of God's Gospel.

이방인을 제물로 드리는 것

Offering a stranger as a sacrifice.

그 밑에도 보면 그리스도께서

You can see below that Christ...

이방인들을 순종하게 하기 위하여

To make the foreigners obey.

나를 통하여 역사하셨다

He worked through me.

사역의 대상이 분명했어요

The target of the ministry was clear.

사도행전을 보면 바울이 선교지를 갈 때마다

In the book of Acts, whenever Paul went to a mission field,

가장 먼저 찾은 곳 사실은 유대인의 집단과 회당이었습니다

The first place I found was actually a gathering of Jews and a synagogue.

자기 동족들을 사랑하면서 그들을 찾아가서 보금을 전했어요

He loved his own people and went to them to preach the gospel.

그러나 그의 우선권은 뭡니까?

But what is his priority?

이방인들

The outsiders.

유대인이 아는 다른 사람

A Jew knows another person.

아직도 보금이 전파되지 않느냐는

Is the Gospel still not being preached?

그 이방인들을 향해서 사역을 감당했다는 것입니다

It means that he served the ministry towards those foreigners.

여러분 하나님께서는 우리를 보금의 역사를 부르실 때

When God calls us to the history of the gospel,

분명한 대상을 우리 마음속에 붙여주신 줄 믿습니다

I believe that a clear object has been affixed in our hearts.

제가 우리 교회도 보면요

If I look at our church...

특별히 나가서 전도하더라도

Even if you go out to evangelize specifically,

어떤 분들은 젊은 대학생들에 대한 열정이 많아요

Some people have a lot of passion for young college students.

어떤 분들을 보게 되면 노인들에 대한 관심이 있습니다

Some people show an interest in the elderly.

어떤 분들을 보면 진짜 노숙자들에 대해서

Some people really have a view about homeless people.

특별히 관심이 있습니다

I have a special interest.

특별한 관심들이 많아요

There are many special interests.

이게 뭐냐면 하나님께서 사역할 수 있는 대상을 붙여주신 줄 믿습니다

I believe that this is God providing me with someone to serve.

아멘

Amen

그러니까 여러분께서 아무렇게나 사역하는 것이 아니라

So, you are not serving in just any way.

하나님께서 붙여주신 사역의 대상이 있다는 것이에요

It means that there is a target for the ministry that God has appointed.

특별히 남달리 어떤 불유의 사람들에 대한 관심을 갖게 하시고

Especially instill a special interest in people who have unique hardships.

기도하게 하시고

Let us pray.

그 열정을 다해서 그들을 섬길 수 있는 대상을 하나님께서 붙여주신다는 것입니다

It means that God will provide us with those whom we can serve with all our passion.

바울에게는 그것이 이방인들이었습니다

For Paul, they were the Gentiles.

그들에게 가서 복음을 전하는 것입니다

It is to go to them and preach the gospel.

그런데 여러분이 아시는 대로

But as you all know

바울이 이방인들에게 가서 복음을 전할 때

When Paul went to the Gentiles to preach the gospel.

얼마나 많은 시련과 고통과 어려움을 당했습니다

How much ordeal, pain, and difficulty have I endured?

왜?

Why?

그 당시에 유대인들이 이방인들을 가서 만나는 것 자체가

At that time, the very act of Jews going to meet Gentiles was

유대인들의 허락이 안 되는 것입니다

It is not allowed by the Jews.

그들과 함께 한자리에서 식사를 하는 것은 큰 죄였습니다

It was a great sin to share a meal with them at the same table.

집 안으로 들여들이고 이방인 집에 들어간다는 것은 상상도 못할 일입니다

Bringing someone into the house and entering a stranger's home is something unimaginable.

그런데 바울은 유대인으로서

However, Paul, as a Jew,

아니 유대인 중에 바리세인 최고 갖는 유대인으로서

No, as a Pharisee, I am among the highest of the Jews.

이방인들을 찾아가서 만나고 같이 식사하고 같이 잠을 자고

Meeting and having meals together with the strangers, and sleeping together.

함께 교제를 하면서 예수 그리스도의 복음을 전했을 때

When we preached the gospel of Jesus Christ while fellowshiping together.

사도행전을 보게 되면 이것이 합당하지 못해서

When you look at the Acts of the Apostles, this is not appropriate.

이것을 용납하기 어려워서 유대인들 가운데 40명이

Forty people among the Jews found it difficult to accept this.

금식을 하면서 저 사도 바울을 죽이기 전에는 우리가 먹지도 않겠다

We will not eat until we have killed that Apostle Paul while fasting.

그런 위협을 무릅쓰면서 사명을 감당했다

They undertook their mission despite such threats.

사랑하는 성도 여러분

Beloved saints.

여러분께서 어떤 일을 하실지는 모르지만

I don't know what kind of work you will do, but

어떤 일을 이루기 위해서는 장애물이 얼마나 많이 있습니까?

How many obstacles are there to achieve a certain task?

시련이 얼마나 많이 있습니까?

How many trials are there?

쉽게 되는 일이 어디가 있습니까?

Where is there anything that comes easily?

그 모든 어려움을 극복하며 나아갔을 때에

When I overcame all those difficulties and moved forward.

어느 업적을 이루듯이 복음을 전하는 일도 여러분 결코 쉬운 것이 아닙니다

Just as achieving any accomplishment is not easy, spreading the gospel is also not easy for you.

하나님의 은혜 가운데서 성령의 능력 가운데서

In the grace of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

우리가 모든 것을 극복하며 나아갈 때에

When we overcome everything and move forward.

우리가 전도의 열매를 맺게 될 줄을 믿습니다

We believe that we will bear the fruits of evangelism.

사도 바울은 뭐라고 했습니까?

What did the Apostle Paul say?

내가 사명을 주 예수 그리스도께로부터 받던

I received a mission from the Lord Jesus Christ.

이 복음을 전하는 사명을 마치려 하면

If you are to fulfill the mission of proclaiming this gospel,

나의 생명을 적은 것도 귀하게 여기지 않느냐

Do you not value even the small amount of my life?

생명을 바치면서 이루어야 될 것이 사명이라는 것이에요

What must be achieved by dedicating one's life is called a mission.

여러분 복음 전하는 것은 너무 간단하게 쉽게 생각하지 마십시오

Don't think of evangelizing as too simple or easy, everyone.

환란이 있습니다 핍박이 있습니다 장애물이 있습니다 반대가 있습니다 공격이 있습니다

There are tribulations, there is persecution, there are obstacles, there is opposition, there are attacks.

그러나 그 모든 것을 극복하며 나가서 하는 것이

However, overcoming all of that and moving forward is what matters.

우리가 주께서 우리에게 주신 것입니다

It is what the Lord has given us.

복음의 사명이라는 것입니다

It is the mission of the gospel.

저는 확신합니다

I am confident.

우리가 나가서 복음을 전할 때 하나님께서 우리를 도우실 줄은 믿습니다

I believe that God will help us when we go out and preach the gospel.

바울도 오늘 말씀을 보게 되면

If we look at the word today, Paul also...

이 일을 하고 있지만 자기가 아니라는 거예요

I'm doing this job, but it's not me.

그 안에 계신 하나님이 하신다는 것입니다

It means that God who is inside will do it.

18절 그리스도께서 이방인들을 순종하게 하기 위하여

Verse 18: To bring about the obedience of the Gentiles through Christ.

나를 통하여 역사하신 것

What worked through me.

결국 누가 역사하셨어요?

In the end, who made history?

하나님이 역사하십니다

God is at work.

바울의 말재주가 아닙니다 바울의 지식이 아닙니다

It is not Paul's eloquence. It is not Paul's knowledge.

전능전지하신 하나님께서 바울을 통하여 역사하신 줄을 믿습니다

I believe that the Almighty God has worked through Paul.

우리는 보통 사용하는 말대로 그냥 축복의 통로가 되면 되는 것이예요

We just need to become a channel of blessings, as we usually say.

하나님의 도구가 되면 되는 것이예요

You just need to become a tool of God.

하나님께서 알파와 오메가가 되셔서 처음부터까지 모든 역사를 이루실 줄을 믿습니다

I believe that God, as the Alpha and Omega, will accomplish all of history from beginning to end.

두려워하지 마십시오 여러분이 하는 것이 아닙니다

Do not be afraid, it is not you who is doing this.

하나님께서 하시는 것이예요

It is what God does.

하나님께서 성령을 통해서 19절을 보시면

If you look at verse 19 through the Holy Spirit, God...

표정입니다

It's an expression.

성령과 기사의 능력으로 성령의 능력으로 이루어졌다

It was accomplished by the power of the Holy Spirit and the power of the article.

여러분 우리의 힘으로 하게 되면 힘듭니다 불가능합니다

바울은 이러한 사육의 열매를 가지고

오늘 큰 고백을 하고 있습니다

바울은 이러한 사육의 열매를 가지고

Paul has these fruits of ministry.

그러므로 내가 그리스도 안에서

Therefore, I am in Christ.

하나님의 일에 대하여 자랑하는 것이 있건

If there is something to boast about in God's work.

자랑할 만하죠

예수를 믿은 지 5년, 10년, 20년

아니 50년이 넘는 분들도 계시고

그가 이 시작 가운데서

He in the midst of this beginning

20년이 지났고

20 years have passed.

27권 가운데 13권의 책을 쓰게 되고

Out of the 27 volumes, I will write 13 books.

많은 지역을 다니면서

While traveling through many areas

교회를 개척을 했고

I have started a church.

그가 기록된 로마사와 같은

Like the recorded history of Rome.

훌륭한 서신을 통해서

Through excellent correspondence.

2000년이 지났지만

It's been 2000 years, but

오늘날에도 많은 사람들이 은혜를 받고

Even today, many people receive grace.

도전을 받고 확신을 갖고

Receiving a challenge with confidence.

어떤 사람은

Some people.

한 번 인생을 살면서

While living life just once

이렇게 진짜 훌륭한 업적을 남기고

Leaving behind such a truly great achievement

주님 품에 안겼습니다

I am embraced in the Lord's arms.

어떤 사람들은

같은 한 인생을 살면서

While living the same life

또 한 번 인생을 살면서

Living life once again

자기만을 위해서

For oneself alone.

자기의 영광만을 위해서

For his own glory only.

자기의 쾌락만을 위해서

For one's own pleasure only.

자기의 그 작은 세계만을 위해서

For just his little world.

종말에 가서

참 우리의 인생을 바라봤을 때

참 부끄럽지 않겠나

To become a living disciple of Jesus Christ.

이러기 위해서는 항상 세 가지 질문을

오늘은 우리가 음력 달력을 보면 추본입니다
