회개와 회복의 초점

이번 주에 한국에 있는 어떤 힘들한 청년이 있어서 전화를 길게 할 시간이 있었어요

This week, there was a young person in Korea who was having a hard time, so I had time to talk on the phone for a long time.

그 청년이 한국에 있지만 저희 교회에 온라인으로 이렇게 예배를 드렸는가 봐요

It seems that the young man is in Korea, but he worshiped online with our church like this.

오늘도 같이 예배하고 있는지 잘 모르겠습니다

I'm not sure if we're worshiping together today.

그런데 같이 예배하면서 그 전에 목사님이 전해줬던 회계에 대한 설교를 쭉 들으면서

However, while we were worshiping together, listening to the sermon about repentance that the pastor had delivered before...

자기를 돌아보니까 자기 회계한다고 했는데 회계한 것이 아니었다는 것을 깨닫고

Looking back at oneself, I realized that what I called self-accounting was actually not accounting at all.

그 이후에 진짜 하나님께 회계하는 시간을 가졌대요

After that, I had a real time of repentance before God.

그런데 진짜 죽을 것 같이 힘들고 어려웠는데

But it was really hard and difficult, like I was going to die.

해보고 싶었어요

I wanted to try.

그리고 또 하나님과 깊은 개인적인 친밀한 관계도 갖게 되어서

And also, I have come to have a deep, personal, and intimate relationship with God.

하나님이 자기의 하나 말씀을 듣기 시작하고

God began to listen to His one word.

그리고 꾸미 넘겨주신 그 비전이 하나님 비전이구나

And the vision that you handed over to me is God's vision.

그러면서 하나님이 내가 이 비전을 위해서 어떻게 써일지에 대해서

Then God asked how I would be used for this vision.

하나님이 내게 말씀하셨다 하면서

Saying that God spoke to me

진짜 해보고 싶었어요

I really wanted to try it.

진짜 회복을 경험한 그 이야기를 해주더라고요

They tell me about the experience of truly recovering.

너무 감사했었습니다

I was very grateful.

우리가 진짜 회복은

Real recovery happens when we...

진짜 우리 삶의 회복을 원한다면

If we truly want the restoration of our lives

무엇이 중요할까 하는 것을

What could be important?

우리가 지난주부터 나누어 왔습니다

We have been sharing since last week.

내 힘으로 도무지 어떻게 해결할 수 없는

Something that I absolutely cannot resolve on my own.

절망적인 일들 있잖아요

There are desperate things, you know.

노력해도 안 될 것 같이 보여지는

It seems like it won't work even if you try.

진짜 힘든 절망적인 상황들

Truly difficult and desperate situations.

그 상황을 회복하는 것은

Recovering from that situation is

안 될 것처럼 보이잖아요

It seems like it won't be possible.

어떻게 해줄지 모르는 일들이 있을 수 있잖아요

There may be things that you don't know how to handle.

근데 성경은 아주 간단하고 단순한 방법을 말해요

But the Bible speaks of a very simple and straightforward method.

그거는 회개하라는 것이에요

That means to repent.

회개하면 회복이 될 수 있다

Repentance can lead to restoration.

그런 말씀을 하시죠

You say such things.

물론 회개라는 것은

Of course, repentance is...

교회에서 지난주에 한 만큼 많이 들었던 단어이기도 해요

It's a word I heard a lot at church last week.

근데 회개가 뭘까 했을 때

But when I wondered what repentance is.

크게 지난번에 나눈 거에 의하면

According to what we discussed last time,

두 가지 성격이 있어요

There are two personalities.

이 부분을 제가 원래 깨달았던 건 아닌데

I didn't originally realize this part.

말씀 준비하면서

While preparing my speech.

그냥 개시될 만큼

Just enough to be initiated.

클리어하게 회개에 대해서 이해가 저도 된 것이

I also came to understand repentance clearly.

부분이기도 해요

It's also a part of it.

회개는 두 가지 성격이 있는데

Repentance has two characteristics.

하나는 긍정적이에요

One is positive.

또 하나는 되게 적극적인 것이에요

Another thing is that it's very proactive.

긍정적이라 이

It is positive.

첫 번째 의미는

The first meaning is

회개하면 반드시 회복된다라는

If you repent, you will definitely be restored.

내가 진짜 회개하면 반드시 회복된다고 하는

If I truly repent, I will surely be restored.

소망을 품고 하는 것이

It is to do something with hope.

회개라는 점에서 회개는 되게 긍정적인 것이에요

Repentance, in that sense, is a very positive thing.

회개하고 비슷하게 오해하는 것이

Repenting and misunderstanding in a similar way.

후회하는 것이었어요

It was something to regret.

후회하는 거

Regretting it.

후회하는 것도 보면 뉘우침이 있어요

Even in regret, there is remorse.

그리고 다신 이것은 하지 말아야지

And I shouldn't do this again.

이런 생각도 해요

I also think like this.

그런데 후회는

But regret is

자기 자신의 잘못에 집중되어 있어요

I'm focused on my own mistakes.

그러다 보니까 죄책감으로 괴로워해요

As a result, I suffer from guilt.

그래서 다운되어 있어요

So I'm feeling down.

하지만 회개는

But repentance is

하나님의 선하심을 믿는 믿음인 거예요

It is the faith that believes in God's goodness.

그리고 그분을 그래서 의지해야 되겠다

And that's why I should rely on Him.

정말 그분의 말씀을 순종했다는 믿음에서 나오기 때문에

Because it comes from the faith that truly obeys His words.

회개하는 그 마음가짐과 태도는 되게 긍정적이에요

The mindset and attitude of repentance are very positive.

그리고 정말 소망이 소망을 가지고

And truly, hope has a hope.

반드시 새로운 인생이 되겠다 소망

I will definitely make it a new life.

그런 것이 있는 게 회개죠

That's what repentance is.

적극적이라는 것은

Being proactive means...

소망이 있기 때문에

Because there is hope

우리는 늘 적극성이 나오잖아요 삶에

We always show enthusiasm in life.

소망이 없으니까 유튜브 막 보면서

Since there is no hope, I'm just watching YouTube aimlessly.

늦잠 자면서 쭉 늘어져 있는 것이잖아요

It's about sleeping in late and just lounging around.

대책 없이 시간을 낭비하는 거잖아요

It's just wasting time without any measures.

소망에서 비롯된 것은 적극적인 것이죠

What comes from hope is active.

그래서 회개는 되게 진지하고

So repentance is very serious and...

철저한 돌이킴이 있는 것을 이야기해요

I'm talking about a thorough reversal.

말만 잘못했다 그러고

They say it was just a miscommunication.

마음에만 있고

Only in the heart.

행동에 변화까지 가지 않는 것은

Not changing behavior is

전심을 하는 게 아니에요

I'm not doing it half-heartedly.

전심을 하는 게 아니죠

It's not about being all in.

물론 마음의 일부는 잘못됐다는 생각을 하지만

Of course, part of my heart thinks that it is wrong, but...

전심이 아니기 때문에 다른 마음 한 켠에는

Because it's not my whole heart, there's a part of me that feels differently.

그럴 수밖에 없는 이유를 채우고 있는 거예요

I am filling in the reasons why it can't be helped.

그때는 어쩔 수 없었어

At that time, there was no way to help it.

그런 시기에 있는 거죠

It's that kind of time.

아담이 하나님이 먹지 말라는 선악을 알게 하는 나무를 먹었을 때

When Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which God had commanded not to eat from.

첫 반응은 하나님을 피해 숨는 것이었어요

The first reaction was to hide from God.

자기 잘못을 아는 거죠

It means recognizing one's own mistakes.

그렇죠

That's right.

내가 큰 일을 잘못했구나 하는 것이에요

I realize that I made a big mistake.

하나님이 찾아오셨습니다 오셨어

God has come. He has arrived.

왜 내가 먹지 말라는

Why do I say not to eat?

그 선악을 알게 한 나무가 있습니까?

Is there a tree that makes one know good and evil?

나무를 먹었지 했을 때 아담의 첫 반응은

When I said I ate the fruit, Adam's first reaction was

하나님 당신이 만들어서 내게 준 여자가

The woman that God created and gave to me.

내게 따먹게 했어요 이렇게 했어요

You made me eat it like this.

틀린 말은 아니죠

That's not wrong.

여자가 먼저 먹고

The woman eats first.

그 다음에 따먹으라고 주었기 때문에

Because I was given it to eat next.

틀린 말은 아니었어요

That wasn't an incorrect statement.

변명이 조금이라도 있으면

If there is even a little excuse

그것에 대해 철저히 돌이킬 자세가 되어 있지 않아요

I'm not ready to thoroughly reconsider that.

자기 뭔가 변명이 있기 때문에 그런 것이죠

It's because you have some kind of excuse.

그런 태도는 언제든지 또다시 그와 비슷한 행동을 또 할 수 있어요

That kind of attitude can lead to similar behavior from him again at any time.

그러니까 우리가 계속 죄를 반복해서 해겠다 하지만 또 짓는 거예요

So we keep saying that we will continue to commit sins, but we end up doing them again.

해계는 아무런 변명할 마음도 없을 정도로

Hae-gye has no intention of making any excuses at all.

오롯이 모든 책임을 철저히 내가 지고 돌이키겠다는

I fully accept all the responsibility and promise to make amends.

그게 해계라고 말할 수 있죠

You could say that's accounting.

세례요한이 요단강에서 이 해계에 세례를 베풀었어요

John the Baptist baptized in the Jordan River during this era.

해계할 자들은 와서 세례를 받으라고 그랬어요

Those who are to repent are told to come and be baptized.

그때 많은 사람이 왔는데

Many people came at that time.

바르세인과 서기관들도 왔었어요

The Pharisees and the scribes also came.

해계하겠다고

I will dare to do it.

그들의 그 태도는 저는 진심 어린 태도였다고 생각해요

I think their attitude was sincere.

왜냐하면 그들의 사회적인 입지를 볼 때에

Because when we consider their social standing

거기에 오른다는 건 대단한 용기가 있는 것이에요

Going up there requires a tremendous amount of courage.

잘못했다 나도 돌이키겠다

I made a mistake; I will also turn things around.

진짜 그 마음으로 그 자리에 온 것이었죠

You really came to that place with that heart.

근데 세례요한은 도리어 그들을 향해서 호되게 야단을 쳤죠

But John the Baptist rather harshly scolded them.

독사의 자식들아 누가 너희들어

"You brood of vipers, who warned you?"

임박한 진노를 피하라고 말했지요?

You said to avoid the impending wrath, didn't you?

진노를 피하라고 가르치더냐

Are you teaching to avoid anger?

해계에 합당한 열매를 맺어라

Bear fruit worthy of repentance.

라고 했죠

I said so.

참된 해계라는 것은 그에 걸맞는

True wisdom is one that is deserving of it.

합당한 열매가 있어야 된다는 것을 이야기해요

It talks about the need for appropriate fruits.

해계는 열매가 있어야 되는 것이죠

The account must have fruits.

마음

Heart

마음 마음하고 생각 생각하고

Mind thinks and thoughts feel.

이런 것은 그것이 해계가 아니라

This is not accounting.

행동이 중요한 거죠

Actions are what matter.

이 부분은 저희 개인적인 경험 돌아보니까

Looking back on this part from our personal experiences...

저희 경험에도 하나님이 해계를 가르쳤을 때

In our experience, when God taught us about the plan.

이 부분을 가르친 적이 있어서

I have taught this part before.

정말 그렇구나 생각을 다시 하게 돼요

I see, it makes me rethink.

제가 대학 시절에 하나님께서

During my university years, God...

하나님을 정말 열심히 찾고 할 때에

When you truly seek God with all your heart.

단계 단계마다 이렇게 훈련을 시켜주셨는데

You trained me like this at each stage.

한 번은

Once

네가 잘못한 부분에 대해서

About what you did wrong.

해계한다면 철저히 책임지는 행동을 해라

If you are going to do it, take full responsibility for your actions.

그걸 보이라 행동으로

Show it through actions.

그것을 저에게 가르친 적이 한 번 있었어요

There was a time when you taught me that.

한국의 남자는 군에 제대하면

Korean men, when they finish their military service,

예비군 훈련을 거치고 민방위 훈련이라는 게 있어요

There is something called civil defense training after going through reserve forces training.

근데 제가 민방위 훈련을 받을 때

But when I was undergoing civil defense training...

어...

Uh...

주기적으로 언제 언제 받는 게 있잖아요

There are things that we receive periodically, right?

근데 어느 틈에 민방위 훈련을 제가 안 받았어요

But somehow, I haven't received civil defense training.

그거는 중간 이사를 했어요 다른 집으로

They moved halfway to another house.

근데 그 통지서를 제가 못 받은 거죠

But I didn't receive that notice.

안 받았으니까 그냥 이렇게 지나치면서 갔는데

Since I didn't receive it, I just passed by like this.

나중에 이제 동사무소에서

Later, at the community service center.

저희 주소지가 이제 알게 됐고 그래가지고

I have now figured out our address, so...

동사무소에 불렀어요

I called you to the district office.

직원이 이것은 남자로서 이 부분은 중요한 부분이긴 한데

The staff member said that this is an important part as a man.

평생 기록 남습니다 이거는

This will be a lifelong record.

빨간 줄 거입니다

I will give you a red line.

줄을 따라다닐 것이다 이렇게 이야기를 했어요

I said that I would follow the line.

물론 얼마든지 변명할 수 있죠

Of course, you can make excuses as much as you want.

이사했고 못 받았습니다 이렇게 할 수도 있는 일이지만

I moved and couldn't receive it. It could happen like this, but...

그때 책임감 있게 내가 반응해야 된다는 걸

At that time, I realized that I had to respond responsibly.

많이 마음을 가지고 있었기 때문에

Because I had a lot of feelings.

내가 조금만 성의가 있었다면

If I had shown just a little sincerity.

알아보고 내가 대책 세우고 할 수 있는 일이었는데

I could have figured it out and come up with a plan.

내가 책임감 없는 행동이었기 때문에

Because it was an irresponsible action.

이 부분에 대해서 어...

About this part, um...

변명하지 않고 책임지겠다

I will take responsibility without making excuses.

이런 마음을 제가 그때 가졌었어요

I had this feeling back then.

그래서 그대로 처리해 주세요 처리해 주세요

So please handle it as it is, please handle it.

평생 빨간 줄 꺼도 좋으니까 그대로 처리해 주세요

It's fine to have a red line for life, so please handle it as it is.

그 부분 직원이 당황했어요

The employee was confused about that part.

진짜 괜찮겠냐고

Are you really going to be okay?

나중에 저에게 책임 돌리면 안 돼요

You can't blame me later.

이렇게 할 정도로

To the extent of doing this.

아 괜찮다고

Oh, it's okay.

그렇게 그대로 처리해 주세요 라고 이야기했죠

I said to just handle it as it is.

그 이외에 별일 없었어요

Nothing else happened.

직원이 너무 당당하게 나왔어 그랬는지

The employee came out too confidently, I wonder if that’s why.

자기 알아서 처리했는지를 잘 모르겠어요

I'm not sure if they handled it on their own.

또 한 가지는

One more thing is

뭐 부끄러운 이야기지만 여러분이 이야기를 했으니까

It's a bit embarrassing to talk about, but since you brought it up...

또 하는 이야기일 수 있는데

It might be something I say again.

대학교 3학년 때인가 전공 과목에서 제가 페일을 했어요

I failed a major subject in my third year of university.

한국시험 F학점을 제가 받은 적이 있었어요

I once received an F grade in a Korean exam.

근데 수업도 안 빠졌고 과대도 내었고

But I didn’t skip any classes and I submitted my assignments.

시험 쳤는데 시험을 못 쳤겠죠

I took the exam, but I probably didn't do well.

그래도 한국 대학은 알지만

I still know about Korean universities.

웬만하면 D를 주더라도

Even if I get a D, it's fine.

그 정도를 가지고 페일을 줄 일은 없었죠

There was no reason to give a fail with just that level.

근데 그때 하나님이 저에게 주셨던 강한 마음 중에 하나가

But one of the strong feelings God gave me at that time was

네가 예술을 잘 믿는다 하면서

You say you believe in art well, but...

성교단체 열심히 훈련 받는다 하면서도

While claiming to be diligently training for the sexual education organization,

아무리 데모하고 수업 시간은 없다 했지만

No matter how much you've demonstrated, you said there are no class hours.

네가 공부하는 일에 열심히 안 했다

You didn't work hard on your studies.

그걸 책망을 많이 하셨어요

You scolded me a lot about that.

그래가지고

So, then

아 내가 책임을 져야 되겠다

Ah, I guess I have to take responsibility.

이 부분에 대해 내가 철저하게 회개해야 되겠다

I need to thoroughly repent for this part.

이런 생각을 가지고

With this kind of thought

어필할 생각도 전혀 안 했지만

I didn't even think of appealing.

여기에 대한 책임을 내가 지겠다

I will take responsibility for this.

이런 생각을 했어요

I had this thought.

그래서 그 다음 해에

So the next year

한 해 후배가 있는 전공 과목이니까 당연하죠

It's natural since it's a major subject with juniors after a year.

그 후배 반에 저 혼자 들어갔어요

I entered that class alone with that junior.

되게 부끄러운 일이었어요

It was really embarrassing.

수치심을 1년 동안 감수하겠다

I will endure the shame for a year.

그런 마음으로 한 번도 빠지지 않고

With that kind of heart, never falling behind.

열심히 서울 참석했죠

I diligently attended in Seoul.

그 A플러스를 주시더군요 교수님께서

The professor gave me that A+.

주간에다 변명할 이유는 얼마든지 있었지만

"There were countless excuses to make during the week, but..."

상황을 말할 수 있었지만

I could have described the situation, but...

하나님 앞에 진심으로

Sincerely before God.

그걸 다운되거나 위축됨도 없이

Without getting down or feeling diminished.

내가 누구를 보지 않고

Without looking at anyone.

하나님 앞에 나의 삶을 들이면서

Offering my life before God.

되게 겸손하지만

Very modest, but...

내가 하나님 앞에 바로 선다는 그 기쁨으로

With the joy of standing right before God.

긍정적인 마음을 가지고

Having a positive mind.

그렇게 했던 기억이 나요

I remember doing that.

그래서 아 회개라는 게 그런 거구나

So that's what repentance is all about.

막 이기고 디프레션 되고

Just win and feel depressed.

푹 무기력해지고 막 슬퍼하고

Feeling very lethargic and just sad.

막 왜 그러지 막 후회하듯이 그렇게 살아가는 게 아니라

Why are you doing that? It's not about living like you regret it.

되게 소망과 긍정과 적극적이고

Very hopeful, positive, and proactive.

철저하겠다는 이 마음들

The determination to be thorough.

그 어떤 변명도 하나도 없이

Without any excuses at all.

하나님 앞에서 나를 세우겠다는

I will stand before God.

그 책임감 있는 태도들이 그게 회개구나

That responsible attitude is repentance.

그것이 사람을 바꾸고 변화시키고 회복시키구나

It changes, transforms, and restores a person.

하는 생각들을 오늘 말씀 보면서

As I reflect on the thoughts today while listening to the sermon...

이번 말씀을 보면서도

While looking at this word...

더 그런 생각들을 하게 됐던 것 같습니다

I think I started having such thoughts more.

우리는 되게 많이들 회개한다는 말을 해요

We often say that we repent a lot.

근데 제대로 회개하지 않은 경우들이 너무 많아요

However, there are many cases where people haven't truly repented.

그러니까 계속 반복해서 죄를 짓는 거죠

So you keep committing sins repeatedly.

그리고 하나님이 그렇게 회개하는 자에게는

And to those who repent like that, God...

약속하신 회복을 경험하지 못하는 거죠

You are not experiencing the promised recovery.

근데 이런 회개를 사람들이 잘 안 해요

But people often don't repent like this.

너무 미련하죠

It's so foolish.

그래서 대부분은 하나님이 오랜 연단을 받아요

So most of them undergo long trials from God.

그리고 그래서 그 깊은 어려움을 당했을 때

And so when you faced that deep hardship.

비로소 마음에 깨닫고

At last, I realize in my heart.

진심으로도 이런 회개를 그때 하는 경우가 많죠

There are many cases where one sincerely repents like this at that time.

이거는 지난 에스겔 선지자를 통해서

This is through the prophet Ezekiel from last time.

외쳤던 그 수많은 심판이 메시지를 들었던

The countless judgments that cried out heard the message.

유대의 백성들이 가졌던 태도였다는 것을 알 수 있죠

You can see that it was the attitude held by the people of Judea.

오늘은 회개에 대해서

Today is about repentance.

다른 측면에 대해서 살펴보려고 합니다

I would like to examine another aspect.

앞에서 말한 지금까지 말한 회개는

The repentance mentioned earlier is

지난번에 말했던 회개는 회개의 성격

The repentance I mentioned last time is the nature of repentance.

회개가 얼마나 중요한가

How important is repentance?

뭐 이런 측면이었다고 한다면

If it was in this aspect, then...

오늘부터 오늘 보려고 하는 것은

Starting today, what I'm going to look at is

회개가 진짜 뭐냐

What is true repentance?

회개의 핵심

The core of repentance.

회개의 목표는 뭔가

What is the goal of repentance?

라고 하는 실제로 내용을 가지고 좀 이야기하고 싶습니다

I want to talk a bit about the actual content that is said.

회복에 대한 메시지는

The message about recovery is

우리가 34장을 읽었지만

We read chapter 34, but

33장부터 사실 시작되는

It actually starts from chapter 33.

여기서 메시지의 성격이 확 바뀐다고 말씀을 드렸어요

I mentioned that the nature of the message changes completely here.

근데 제일 먼저 회개에 대해서 이야기하실 때는

But when you first talk about repentance,

즉, 이 회복에 대한 메시지를 말하는데

In other words, I'm talking about the message regarding this recovery.

회개를 먼저 말했단 말이죠

You said repentance first.

그 말은 회복은

That means recovery is

회복은 회개밖에 없다

There is no recovery other than repentance.

그거를 말씀하기 위해서

To mention that.

회복의 메시지를 전하는데

To convey a message of recovery.

회복이면 소망 속 좋은 말씀이잖아요

If it's recovery, it's a good word within hope.

그런데 이 심각한 죄의 회개에 대해 말씀하신다는 것은

But to talk about repentance from such a serious sin means that...

회개 없이는 절대 회복이 없다는 것을 말하고 싶어서

I want to say that without repentance, there is absolutely no recovery.

회복의 메시지를 시작하는 마당에서

In the garden where the message of healing begins.

회개에 대한 이야기를 33장에 말하고

It speaks about repentance in chapter 33.

오늘 34장도

Today, chapter 34 as well.

그와 관련된 말씀들을 다시 하고 있는 것이죠

We are again discussing the matters related to him.

근데 오늘 본문에서 강조하고 있는 것이 무엇인가를 보면

However, if we look at what is being emphasized in today's text...

우리가 다 읽지는 않았지만 34장을 보면

We haven't all read it, but if you look at chapter 34...

이스라엘의 목자들에 대한 책망이었어요

It was a rebuke against the shepherds of Israel.

여기서 말하는 목자들이라고 한다는 것은

The shepherds being mentioned here refer to

왕과 정치적인 지도자

King and political leader

그리고 종교적인 지도자들을 가리키죠

And it refers to religious leaders.

그들이 잘못했기 때문에

Because they were wrong.

양들인 이스라엘 백성들이 고통을 당하는 것은

The reason the sheep of the people of Israel are suffering is...

흡수한 것이다 라고 말씀하셨어요

You said it has been absorbed.

그래서 하나님께서 그 목자들을 대적하고

So God opposed those shepherds.

심판하겠다고 말씀하시는거죠

You are saying that you will pass judgment, right?

회복의 메시지를 전하는

Delivering a message of recovery.

장을 들었음에 불구하고

Despite the fact that I lifted the curtain.

이상한 심판의 메시지들을

Messages from the strange judge

계속 하신다는 것이 여러분 좀

What you are saying is a bit...

생뚱맞아도 있을 순 있어요

It might be unexpected, but it can happen.

그런데 이런 지도자들 뿐만 아니라

However, not only these leaders

17절부터 19절에 보면

In verses 17 to 19,

이 지도자들에게 빌붙었으

I clung to these leaders.

기생충처럼 다른 백성을 괴롭혔던

Like a parasite, it tormented other people.

동료 백성들도 있다고 하시면서

He said that there are fellow citizens as well.

있다고 하시면서 그들에게도 심판하시겠다라고 주님이 말씀하셨습니다.

The Lord said that He would judge them, saying that He does exist.

그러니까 이스라엘 지도자들과 그 밑에 있는 기생충 같은 모든 자들을

So, all the leaders of Israel and all the parasites beneath them.

심판하시겠다고 하시면서 이어서 하신 말씀이 뭐냐면

You said you would judge, and then you continued with what?

내가 친히 그들의 목자가 되어주겠다 이렇게 말씀을 하셨어요.

He said, "I will personally be their shepherd."

예를 들면 15절, 16절을 보면

For example, if you look at verses 15 and 16.

내가 친히 내 양의 목자가 되어 그것들을 누워있게 할지라

I will personally be the shepherd of my sheep and let them lie down.

주여와의 말씀이라

This is the word of the Lord.

그 잃어버린 자를 내가 찾으며 쫓기는 자를 내가 돌아오게 하며

I will seek the lost and bring back the strayed.

상한 자를 내가 싸매주며 병든 자를 내가 강하게 하려니와

I will bind up the wounded and strengthen the sick.

살찐 자와 강한 자는 내가 없애고 정의대로 그것들을 먹이리라 이렇게 말씀하셨어요.

"I will remove the fat and the strong, and I will feed them with justice."

23절, 24절에 보면 기생충 같은 사람들에 대한 심판을 말하면서

In verses 23 and 24, it speaks of judgment against people like parasites.

이어서 여기서는 다익과 같은 목자를 보내주겠다고 말씀하셨어요.

He said that he would send a shepherd like David here.

물론 여기서 말한 다익과 같은 목자를 보내주겠다고 말씀하셨어요.

Of course, He said He would send a shepherd like David mentioned here.

다익과 같은 목자는 과거는 다이슨 과거의 사람이었으니까

A shepherd like Daik was a person from Dyson's past.

여기서 말하는 다익과 같은 목자라고 한다면 장차 오실 메시야

If the shepherd referred to here is like David, it means the Messiah who is to come.

우리로 본다면 예수 그리스도를 같이 가르치는 거죠.

From our perspective, it is teaching about Jesus Christ together.

그가 오시면 마지막 장의 절의를 하시는 25절, 31절에 보면

When he comes, in verse 25 and verse 31 of the final chapter, it says

양들과 화평의 은약을 맺어서 그들을 평안히 한평, 평안히 그하게 하실 것이다.

He will make a covenant of peace with the sheep and will lead them to peaceful pastures, allowing them to rest in safety.

그렇게 말씀하셨습니다.

You said so.

후에 예수님께서 그들을 이루시죠.

Later, Jesus fulfills them.

예수님 오셔서 하신 말씀을 보면 요한봉은 10장 14절, 15절에 보면

In the words of Jesus when He came, as seen in John 10:14 and 15.

나는 선한 목자라, 나는 내 양을 알고 양도 나를 아는 것이

I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.

아버지께서 나를 아시고 내가 아버지를 아는 것 같으니

It seems that my father knows me and I know my father.

나는 양을 위하여 목숨을 버리노라 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다.

"I lay down my life for the sheep."

오늘 34장 앞에 지난번 33장의 해계가 얼마나 중요한지를 말씀하셨고

Today, in front of Chapter 34, you talked about how important the explanation of Chapter 33 was last time.

말씀하셨다면 오늘 34장은 해계의 실제 내용이 뭔가

If you mentioned it, then what is the actual content of Chapter 34 today?

해계의 목표가 뭔지에 대해서 말씀하시고 계셔요.

You are talking about what the goal of the accounting world is.

근데 그것이 목자에 관한 말씀이었다는 거예요.

But it was a message about the shepherd.

이게 우리의 해계에 대해서 알게 하는 아주 중요한 내용이에요.

This is very important information that helps us learn about our world.

우리 보통 해계하면 어떤 구체적인 잘못된 행동을 고치고 바로 잡는 것이라고 생각해요.

We usually think of accounting as correcting and rectifying specific wrong actions.

해계의 일차적인 행동을 고치고 바로 잡는 것이라고 생각해요.

I think the primary action of the accounting system is to correct and rectify.

해계의 일차적인 행동은 맞아요. 내 행동, 잘못된 행동을 고치는 것이에요.

The primary action of the accountant is correct. It is to rectify my actions, to correct my wrong actions.

근데 그게 최종 목적은 아니에요. 최종 목표는 목자예요.

But that's not the ultimate goal. The ultimate goal is the shepherd.

즉 하나님과 온전한, 온전한 관계를 맺는 것이 해계의 진정한 내용이죠.

In other words, establishing a perfect relationship with God is the true essence of repentance.

그러니까 해계라는 것은 행할 행동, 무엇이 아니라 누구와 관련되어 있는 것이에요.

So, what we call "accounts" is related to who, not what actions are to be taken.

해계는 무엇이 아니라 누구와 관련되어 있다는 거죠.

The concept of accounting is not about what, but rather about who it is related to.

누가 보면 15장에 보면 유명한 탕자비우 있잖아요.

In Luke 15, there is the famous parable of the prodigal son.

집 나간 아들, 둘째 아들 이야기 나오잖아요.

The story of the prodigal son, the second son, comes to mind.

둘째 아들이 아버지 재산을 가지고 방탄하게 진짜 소위 말하는 나쁜 행동들을 하면서 살다가

The second son lived with his father's wealth, engaging in what is commonly referred to as bad behavior.

비참한 신세가 되었을 때,

When I found myself in a miserable state,

그가 해계를 해요.

He does accounting.

자신이 얼마나 큰 죄를 지었는지를 스스로 고백하죠.

They confess to themselves how great their sin is.

그러면서 거기서 돌이키려고 해요.

And while doing that, I'm trying to turn back there.

그런데 그 돌이킴의 최종 목적지는 뭐였죠?

By the way, what was the ultimate destination of that turnaround?

아들의 그 돌이킴의 최종 목적지는

The ultimate destination of the son's return is

아버지의 선하심을 기억하고 그 있는 자리에서 일어나서

Remembering my father's goodness, I rise from where I am.

아버지께로 돌아가는 것이었어요.

It was about returning to my father.

아버지께로.

To father.

그러니까 해계라는 것은 나의 잘못된 행동에서 돌이키는 정도가 아니라

So, repentance is not just about turning away from my wrong actions.

그 잘못을 인해서 하나님과 멀어진 관계를 회복하는 데까지 가는 것이에요.

It is about restoring the relationship that has been distanced from God because of that mistake.

결국 해계의 핵심은 예수 그리스도를 목자로 모시는 것이에요.

Ultimately, the core of the gospel is to acknowledge Jesus Christ as the shepherd.

진정한 해계는

True harmony.

예수 그리스도,

Jesus Christ,

그분에게로 가는 것이죠.

It's going to him/her.

그렇게 할 때 참된 회복이 있는 것이에요.

True recovery happens when you do that.

그 유명한 마태복원 11장 28절 3절

The famous Matthew 11:28 verse 3.

수고하고 무거운 진진자들아, 회복이 필요한 사람들,

Those who are struggling and heavy-hearted, to those who need healing,

문제의 덩어리가 된 삶이 어디서부터 꼬였는지 모르겠지만

I don't know where my life, which has become a bundle of problems, got tangled up.

수고하고 많이 무거운 진진자들에게

To the hard-working and heavily burdened people.

주님이 요구한 건 뭐였습니까?

What did the Lord require?

회계.

Accounting.

회계의 파이널 데스틀레이션.

Final Destillation of Accounting.

내게로 오라고 말씀하셨어요.

You told me to come to you.

내게로 오라고.

Come to me.

회계는 최종 목적은 예수께로 가는 것이에요.

Accounting ultimately aims to lead to Jesus.

회복이 필요한 수고와 무거움을 징을 지는 우리들에게 있어서.

For us, who bear the effort and heaviness that needs recovery.

가면 주님이

The Lord is wearing a mask.

멍해를 메고 내게 배우라고 하셨어요.

You told me to learn while carrying a burden.

철저히 바꾸고 오라는 거죠. 철저히.

You are being told to change completely. Completely.

멍해를 메고 진지하게 바꾸라는 거죠.

You're saying to seriously change while carrying the burden of a fool.

그래야만 너의 마음이 힘을 얻을 거다.

Only then will your heart gain strength.

회복.

Recovery.

회복될 거다.

It will be restored.

라고 말씀하셨어요.

You said that.

회계의 목표는 예수 그리스를 향하는 것이다.

The goal of accounting is to move towards Jesus Christ.

그렇게 할 때 회복이 그 예수 그리스에게서 오는 것이다.

In doing so, healing comes from Jesus Christ.

라고 하셨어요.

They said.

회복은 내게서 오는 것이 아니에요.

Recovery does not come from me.

회복은 어떤 누군가에서 오는 것이 아니에요.

Recovery does not come from someone else.

회계는 예수 그리스에게서 오는 것입니다.

Accounting comes from Jesus Christ.

믿었습니까?

Did you believe it?

아멘.

그래서 그분과의 관계가 무엇보다도 중요한 것이죠.

So the relationship with that person is the most important thing.

바르게 살아가는 것보다 더 중요한 것은

What is more important than living rightly is

예수 그리스를 사랑하고 그분과 동행하는 것이에요.

It is about loving Jesus Christ and walking with Him.

그분과 사랑하는 관계를 맺을 때 바르게 살아갈 수 있는 능력도 얻을 수 있는 것이죠.

When you enter a loving relationship with that person, you can also gain the ability to live rightly.

무슨 말이냐면 바르게 살아도

What I mean is that even if you live rightly,

바르게 살아도 바르게 살아갈 수 있는 능력도 얻을 수 있는 것이죠.

Even if you live rightly, you can also gain the ability to continue living rightly.

하나님과 얼마든지 바른 관계를 맺지 못할 수 있다 이 뜻이에요

It means that one can fail to establish a proper relationship with God in any way.

세상적인 기준을 볼 때 바르게 살아가고 있어도 역시 회개가 필요할 수 있다 이 뜻이에요

From a worldly perspective, even if you are living rightly, repentance may still be necessary. That's the meaning.

왜? 회개는 관계 부분이기 때문에 결국에는 그렇거든요

Why? Because repentance is a matter of relationship, and that’s ultimately the case.

바르게 살지만 세상의 기준은 바르게 살지만

Living rightly, but the world's standard is to live rightly.

그렇다고 해서 꼭 하나님과 바른 관계를 맺고 있지 않을 수도 있기 때문에

Therefore, it is possible that one may not necessarily have a proper relationship with God.

대표적인 예가 뭡니까? 역시 그 누가 보면 15장

What is a typical example? It is indeed Luke chapter 15.

둘째 아들 이야기를 앞에 했지만 첫째 아들을 한번 생각해 보십시오

I talked about the second son earlier, but please think about the first son for a moment.

그의 고백에 의하면 그는 아버지의 명을 한 번도 어긴 적이 없다 그랬어요

According to his confession, he said he has never disobeyed his father's orders.

한 번도 아버지의 명을

Never once did I follow my father's orders.

그리고 그 시간 그때까지도 둘째 아들의 동생이 돌아올 그때도

And even until that time, when the younger brother of the second son returns.

아버지에 대해서 열심히 섬기고 있었어요

I was diligently serving my father.

섬기다가 받았죠

I received it while serving.

아버지한테서 섬기다가 왔다는 거죠

It means that you came after serving your father.

그런데 그는 아버지와 사랑의 관계를 맺고 있지 않았다는 거죠

However, he was not in a loving relationship with his father.

그도 회개가 필요한 사람이었어요

He was a person in need of repentance as well.

왜? 회개는 하나님을 향하는 것이 핵심이기 때문에 그래요

Why? Because repentance is fundamentally about turning towards God.

차라리 첫째보다는 둘째가 그런 점에 나은 거죠

Rather, the second one is better in that regard than the first.

관계가 더 중요한 것입니까? 그런 것입니다

Is the relationship more important? That's it.

그런데 볼 때 우리를 보는 거죠

But when they look, they are looking at us.

나는 회개한 사람인가? 회개한 사람인가?

Am I a repentant person? Am I a repentant person?

하나님과의 관계가 어떠냐는 거죠

It's about what your relationship with God is like.

나는 하나님과 치밀한 관계인가?

Do I have a close relationship with God?

하나님과 사랑하는 관계에 대해 있는 사람인가?

Is there a person who has a loving relationship with God?

그것이 특정한 둘째 아들처럼 죄를 지어서 그럴 수 있는 것이고

That could be possible because it committed a sin like a particular second son.

아니면 첫째 아들처럼 반듯하게 살아가지만

Or, like the eldest son, live a proper life.

어떤 이유든지 그분과 멀어져서는

For any reason, do not distance yourself from Him.

그런 수도 있는 것이죠

That could be the case.

회개가 필요하다고 느낀다는 것은 그런 것이죠

Feeling that you need to repent is that.

나는 진짜 회개가 필요한 사람

I am a person who really needs repentance.

회개한 사람은 하나님과의 깊은 치밀한 관계를 누리고 살죠

A repentant person lives enjoying a deep and intricate relationship with God.

철저하게 진지하게 주의 말씀을 순종하고 살아가는 모습이겠죠

It would be a thorough and serious appearance of living by obeying the Word.

그렇게 반응하고 살아가는 자들에게 회복이 있는 것이에요

Those who respond and live like that will find recovery.

풍성함이 있는 것이죠

There is abundance.

회개와 관련된 유명한 구절은 야고버스 4장 8절에서 17절까지 있는데요

A famous passage related to repentance is found in James 4:8-17.

거기 보면 이렇습니다

It looks like this there.

하나님을 가까이 하라 그리하면 너희를 가까이 하시리라

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

죄인들아 손을 깨끗이 하라 두 마음을 품은 자들아 마음을 성결하게 하라

You sinners, cleanse your hands; you who are of double mind, purify your hearts.

슬퍼함에 애통함에 울지하다 너의 웃음을 애통으로 너의 즐거움을 근심으로 바꿀지하다

In sorrow and lamentation, I cry; I may change your laughter into lamentation and your joy into worries.

주 앞에서 낮추라 그리하면 주께서 너희를 높이시라

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

이 말씀에도 회개의 핵심이 되는 말씀이 나와요

This verse also contains the core message of repentance.

하나님을 가까이 하라 주 앞에서 낮추라

Draw near to God, humble yourself before Him.

하나님과 관련되어 있는 거죠

It's related to God.

그 일을 위해서 진지하고 철저하게 웃음을 애통으로 즐거움을 근심으로 바꿀 만큼

To the extent that one can seriously and thoroughly change laughter into sorrow and joy into concern for that task.

그 정도로 그렇게 주님을 간절히 찾고 가고

To seek the Lord so earnestly, to that extent.

가까이 하는 관계에 헌신하기 시작할 때 높이시리라 너희를 높이시리라

When you start to commit to a close relationship, He will elevate you.

주님이 가까이 한 임재를 경험하게 될 것이다 그렇게 말씀해 주셨습니다

You will experience the presence of the Lord being close to you, so it has been said.

우리의 삶이 어떠하든지 우리가 보기에 너무 많은 어려움과 절망이 있고

No matter how our lives are, we see that there are too many difficulties and despair.

막막하고 힘들어도 it doesn't matter I don't care 아무 상관없습니다

Even if it feels bleak and difficult, it doesn't matter; I don't care.

회개해 회개만 하면 회복이 시작되는 것이죠

Repent, and once you repent, restoration begins.

특별한 어느 시점뿐만 아니라 언제나 항상 하나님 앞에 그렇게 반응하시면

If you respond before God like that not just at a special moment but always,

우리의 상황이 어떠든지 우리의 마음이 어떠든지 아무리 절망적이다 치더라도

No matter what our situation is or how we feel, no matter how hopeless it may seem.

내 힘으로 어떻게 할 수 없는 상황이 된다 할지라도

Even if it becomes a situation that I cannot handle with my own strength.

주님을 그렇게 간계에 헌신하고 찾고 나아가면

If you dedicate yourself to the Lord and seek Him in such a way,

주님 반드시 회복시켜주시는 은혜를 베풀어 주실 줄 믿습니다

I believe that the Lord will surely grant the grace of restoration.

오늘 이 밤에도 그렇게 주 앞에 나아가신 여러분 되시길 바라고

I hope that you all come before the Lord like that tonight as well.

여러분 매일매일 사랑하고 주님의 마음을 사랑하고

Love each other every day and love the heart of the Lord.

우리 삶 안에 회개하는 그런 사람

A person who repents in our lives.

하나님 앞에 자기 삶이 나아간 사람들 다 되시기를

May all of you become people whose lives are moving forward before God.
