제가 읽을 때의 눈으로 마음으로 함께 따라 읽으시기 바랍니다.

고린도전서 2장 8절 말씀입니다.

This is the word from 1 Corinthians 2:8.

이 세상 통치자들 가운데는 이 지혜를 아는 사람이 하나도 없습니다.

Among the rulers of this world, there is not one who understands this wisdom.

그들이 알았더라면 영광의 주님을 십자가에 못 박지는 않았을 것입니다.

If they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

아멘

참 좋으신 하나님 아버지 오늘도 주님께 예배를 드릴 수 있는

Dear God the Father, it is a great blessing to be able to worship You today.

십자가입니다.

시간을 허락하여 주셔서 참으로 감사를 드립니다.

Thank you very much for giving me your time.

하나님 아버지 대한민국의 여러 지역과

Heavenly Father, in various regions of South Korea...

또 독일, 프랑스, 캐나다 또 미국의 여러 지역

Also Germany, France, Canada, and various regions of the United States.

그리고 베트남 등지에서 이 예배에 동참하고 있는

And those participating in this worship in places like Vietnam.

많은 하나님의 백성들이 있습니다.

There are many people of God.

이 시간에 그들에게 하늘의 지혜를 부어주시옵소서

At this time, may you pour down the wisdom of heaven upon them.

그들이 세상 것으로 점령당하고

They are occupied by worldly things.

하나님 아버지 안이하도록 크신 은총을 이 시간에 베풀어 주시옵소서

Heavenly Father, please bestow Your great grace upon us at this time.

그리하여 하나님의 말씀을 배울 때에 하나님 온전히 그 섭리를 잘

Therefore, when learning the word of God, may God fully carry out His providence.

깨달을 수 있는 은총을 허락하여 주시기를 간절히 기도드립니다.

I sincerely pray that you grant me the grace to be able to realize.

전하는 자의 입술도 주관하여 주시옵소서 예수님의 이름으로 기도드렸습니다.

여러분 지난주에 제가 한 주 걸렀습니다 제 개인적인 사정으로

Everyone, I took a week off last week due to personal reasons.

이렇게 매주 토요일 저녁에 드리는 예배 한국 시간이죠

This is the worship service held every Saturday evening, Korean time.

예배를 걸렀습니다

I skipped the worship service.

여러분 제가 이렇게 공개적으로 또 말씀을 드리는 이유는

The reason I'm openly speaking like this to all of you is...

여러분들의 각각의 사정에 따라서 이렇게 예배를 걸을 수 있는

Depending on each of your circumstances, you can walk through this worship.

있음을 말씀드리기 위해서 이렇게 제가 말씀을 드리는 겁니다.

I am saying this to inform you that it exists.

목사가 다수의 예배를 드리는 사람들과의 약속을 깨고

The pastor broke the promise with the many people who attend worship.

저렇게 개인적인 사정으로 예배를 걸을 수가 있는가?

Can one really skip worship for personal reasons like that?

이게 지금까지 한국 기독교의 윤리란 말이죠.

This is what the ethics of Korean Christianity has been so far.

그런데 이거는 성경이 제시하고 있는 신자의 윤리는 아니다라는 거죠.

However, this is not the ethics of believers presented in the Bible.

우리 기독교라고 하는 곳에서 만들어놓은 새로운 율법이거든요.

It's a new law created in what we call Christianity.

관습이고 전통이에요.

It's a custom and a tradition.

그래서 그런 것들이 조문화돼서 여러분들의 삶을 강제하면 안 된다라고 하는 거죠.

So, those things should not be forced upon your lives as a form of cultural assimilation.

성경은 결코 그런 말씀을 하신 적이 없다.

The Bible has never said such a thing.

오히려 내 안에서 자유하여라.

Rather, be free within me.

안식일의 주인은 내니 내 안에서 자유하여라.

The Lord of the Sabbath is within me; be free within me.

라고 하시는 말씀을 하고 계시니까 제가 일부러라도 이렇게 말씀을 드리는 겁니다.

Since you are saying that, I am intentionally saying this.

그리고 제가 지난주에 오늘 지금과 같은 시간에 예배를 드리겠다 하고

And last week, I said that I would hold worship at the same time as now today.

안 드린 것이 아니라 미리 광고의 말씀을 드렸다라는 거죠.

It's not that I didn't give it, but rather that I mentioned it in advance.

물론 비밀해제를 통해서 드리기는 했어도

여러분들의 각각의 사정에 따라서 예배를 거르는 것이

Skipping worship according to each of your individual circumstances

결코 하나님 앞에서 범죄가 되지 않음을 여러분들에게 말씀을 드리는 겁니다.

I am telling you that it will never be considered a crime before God.

그리고 여러분들이 설사 이렇게 다 모여서 드리는 예배를 거르는 것이

And even if you all gather together to hold this worship, skipping it...

혹시 깨름찍하시면 여러분들이

If you're feeling uneasy, you all...

여러분이 예배를 거르는 것이 혹시 깨름찍하시면

If skipping worship makes you feel uneasy,

사정상 이렇게 한자리에 모이지 못했다고 하더라도

Even if we couldn't gather in one place due to circumstances,

각각 처한 그 장소에서 여러분들이 잠시 짬을 내서 말이죠.

In each of the places you find yourselves, take a moment to pause and reflect.

하나님께 이런저런 여러분들의 사정을 아뢰고 하는 것으로

Bringing various circumstances of yours to God.

충분히 하나님께서 그러한 행동에 담긴 신앙의 절개들을

God fully understands the integrity of faith contained in such actions.

충분히 아름답게 보실터이니까 그리 해주시면 됩니다.

You can do it that way, as it will look beautiful enough.

우리 계속해서 고린도전서를 공부를 하고 있는데 말이죠.

We are continuing to study the First Epistle to the Corinthians.

이 고린도전서는 매우 좋은 책입니다.

This first letter to the Corinthians is a very good book.

제가 고린도전서 강의 처음에 말씀을 드렸듯이

As I mentioned at the beginning of the lecture on 1 Corinthians

고린도전서는 말이죠.

The First Corinthians, you see.

어떤 신학적인 다툼을 벌이는 장면을 기록을 하고 있어요.

It is recording a scene of a theological dispute.

그리고 그리스도인들의 윤리 그리고 예배 등의 삶의 실천 부분을

And the practical aspects of the lives of Christians, such as ethics and worship.

안에 있어서도 그릇된 점들을 보이고 있는 고린도교의 교인들의

The members of the Corinthian church, who are showing flawed aspects even while being inside.

그릇된 점들을 지적을 하고요.

I will point out the incorrect aspects.

또 바른 신학, 바른 기독교인으로서의 윤리 그리고 바른 윤리에 따른

Also, the correct theology, the ethics of a proper Christian, and ethics according to the correct principles.

그 실천, 바른 실천 등을 제시하고 있는 책이거든요.

It's a book that presents those practices and proper practices.

그러니까 매우 좋은 책이죠.

So it's a very good book.

그러니까 여러분들이 이렇게 고린도전서를 배워나가실 때에

So, as you learn the book of 1 Corinthians like this,

이런 것들을 염려하시고

Worrying about such things

염두에 두시고 여러분들의 삶을 다시 한번 되돌아보시고

Keep this in mind and take a moment to reflect on your lives once again.

개선해야 하실 점이 있으면 즉각 즉각 개선하는

If there are areas that need improvement, make improvements immediately.

그러한 시간들이 되었으면 좋겠어요.

I hope those times will come.

이 말씀을 공부하면서 그저 이걸 지식으로 알아서 머리에 저장하는 것이 아니라

As I study this word, it's not just about storing it as knowledge in my head.

이것이 삶의 실천으로 이어지는 그러한 시간들이 되기를 바란다라는 말씀입니다.

I hope that these moments lead to the practice of life.

그런 의미에서 여러분들께 먼저 질문을 드려볼게요.

In that sense, let me first ask you a question.

여러분, 포도주 부대가 낡았으면 그걸 버려야 합니까? 아니면 꿰매 써야 합니까?

Everyone, if the wine bag is old, should we throw it away? Or should we sew it up and use it?

성경에서 뭐라고 기록을 하고 있죠?

What does the Bible say?

그러니까 다른 말로 말씀을 드리면

In other words, let me put it this way.

우리 지금 한국 기독교의 기복신앙, 번영신학 이거 많이 지적을 하잖아요.

We often point out the prosperity theology and faith for blessings in Korean Christianity right now.

이걸 버리는 것이 맞습니까? 아니면 적당히 고려해야 합니까?

Is it right to throw this away? Or should I consider it carefully?

고쳐 쓸만한 신앙입니까?

Is it a faith worth fixing?

이걸 굳이 왜 말씀을 드리냐 하면

The reason I'm bringing this up is because...

아직도 기복이 뭐가 잘못입니까? 라고 물어보시는 분이 계시단 말이에요.

There are still people who ask, "What's wrong with ups and downs?"

그래서 적당히 그것을 내가 가지고 살겠다라고 하는 거거든요.

So it's about living with it moderately.

그런데 기복신앙 제가 말씀드린 것처럼 보다 나은 나,

However, as I mentioned about faith in deities, a better version of myself,

그것을 추구하는 삶이 기복신앙이거든요.

A life that pursues that is a faith in fortune.

이건 제가 적당히 정의를 내린 것이라 조금 더 더

This is a definition I've made somewhat arbitrarily, so a bit more...

수정, 보완해야 할 것이 있으면 여러분들이 수정, 보완하시고

If there is something that needs to be revised or supplemented, please make the corrections and additions.

또 그런 점들을 저에게 알려주시면 좋겠어요.

It would be great if you could let me know about those things as well.

그러니까 정신적, 물질적으로 보다 나은 나를 추구하는 삶.

In other words, a life pursuing a better version of myself both mentally and materially.

이게 저는 기복신앙이다. 이렇게 정의를 해 놓고 있거든요.

This is what I define as belief in fickleness.

하나님의 백성이다 라고 하면 하나님의 말씀을 따라 살아야 하죠.

If you are the people of God, you must live according to God's word.

그건 무슨 말씀이냐면 하나님을 추구하는 삶이 되어야 한다는 거죠.

What that means is that we must lead a life that seeks God.

내가 보다 나은 정신적으로, 물질적으로,

I am better mentally and materially.

보다 나은 나를 추구하는 삶.

A life pursuing a better version of myself.

그건 바로 이 세상에서 육신적인 삶을 내가 살아보겠다라고 하는 거거든요.

It means that I want to experience a physical life in this world.

그래서 그걸 저는 기복신앙이다 라고 이렇게 정의를 내렸던 거거든요.

So I defined that as belief in the ups and downs.

그런데 여전히 성경을 통해서 돈과 성공을 읽어대거나

However, they still interpret money and success through the Bible or...

아니면 그저 인간 삶의 살림살이를 조금 개선하는 정도의,

Or just a slight improvement in the quality of human life,

그 인간 삶의 살림살이를 조금 개선하는 정도의,

To a degree that slightly improves the human way of living,

도덕적 업그레이드를 취할 수 있는 그런 어떤 도덕책 정도로 인식을 하거나 하는 그런 분들이 계신 것 같아요.

It seems that there are people who perceive it as a kind of moral book that can be taken for a moral upgrade.

그래서 제가 이 말씀을 드리는 거거든요.

That's why I'm saying this.

기복신앙은 버리는 게 맞습니까?

Is it right to abandon belief in deities?

아니면 고쳐 쓸 만한 신앙입니까?

Or is it a faith that can be corrected and rewritten?

저는 버려야 된다고 생각을 하고 버렸었어요.

I thought I should throw it away, and I did.

그러니까 여러분들도 버리기를,

So, you all should also throw it away.

거면합니다.

I will go.

그 밖에 뭐 여러 가지가 있겠지요.

There are likely various other things as well.

지금까지도 내내 아주 고집스럽게 지키고 있는 거,

What I have stubbornly kept until now,

구약율법 중에 딱 하나만 지키고 있는 11조는 어떻죠?

What about the tithe, which is the only one of the Old Testament laws that you are keeping?

이거 버려야 하는 거죠.

I need to throw this away.

조문으로는 버려야 하는 거란 말이에요.

It means that it should be discarded as a formal gesture.

그리고 신자의 삶을 세상에서 살아야 합니까?

And must believers live their lives in the world?

아니면 교회에서 살아야 합니까?

Or should I live in the church?

교회에서 산다고 아직도 교회에 매달려 있는 분들이 많이 있단 말이에요.

There are still many people who are still hanging onto the church even though they live in the church.

그렇죠?

That's right?

그중에 가장 대표적인 그룹이 어느 그룹이죠?

Which group is the most representative among them?

교회인 가운데서?

Among the churches?

목사죠, 목사.

It's a pastor, a pastor.

그렇죠?

That's right?

아무래도 목사가 교회에 제일 매달려 있다는 말이에요.

It seems that the pastor is the most devoted to the church.

신자의 삶을 교회에서 실천하려고 하는 거죠.

They are trying to practice the life of a believer in the church.

이게 그리스도의 말씀에 전적으로 위배가 됨에도 불구하고 버리지 않고 있죠?

You are still holding on to this even though it is completely contrary to the words of Christ, right?

않고 있단 말이죠.

I'm not doing it.

그리고 또 우리가 그리스도께서 직접 육성으로 하신 말씀 가운데서

And also among the words that Christ spoke directly in person.

하나님께 드렸기 때문에 부모에게 드릴 것이 없다고 하면 안 된다

Just because you have given to God, you shouldn't say that you have nothing to give to your parents.

라고 말씀을 하셨는데 여러분들은 어떻게 실천하고 계십니까?

You said that, but how are you practicing it?

여기서 부모 대신 이웃을 좀 넣어 보시자고요.

Let's try substituting neighbors for parents here.

하나님께 드렸기 때문에 혹시 이웃에게 줄 것이 남아 있지 않는 경우는 없으십니까?

Is there a chance that you have nothing left to give to your neighbors because you've given everything to God?

여러분 하나님께서 정말 여러분들이 입과 마음으로 마녀의 주라고 고백을 하신다면

If you truly confess with your mouth and heart that the Lord is a witch, God will...

하나님께 돈을 바친다 라고 하는 것이 얼마나 얼툭당툭한 일이라는 걸

How ridiculous it is to say that one offers money to God.

여러분들이

You all

아실 거란 말이에요.

You would know.

그렇죠. 말이 되지 않는 거거든요.

That's right. It doesn't make sense.

그러니까 여러분들이 굳이 교회에 헌금이라는 것을 가지고 간다면

So if you are going to bring donations to the church anyway,

물론 헌금이라는 것을 제가 말씀을 드렸지만

Of course, I mentioned something about donations.

말이 되지 않는다 라고 제가 무엇이든지 물어보세요.

Ask me anything that doesn't make sense.

지난번에 말씀을 드렸죠.

I mentioned it last time.

Offering, 헌, 드린다 라고 하는 것.

Offering means to dedicate or give something.

이것은 지금

This is now.

제물이 아니라 라고 말씀을 드렸죠.

I said it's not a sacrifice.

교회에 이런저런 쓸모를 위해서 그저 연보로 가져가는 거예요.

It's just being taken to the church for various purposes as offerings.

그러니까 membership fee 이것이 더 옳다 라는 거죠.

So, it means that the membership fee is more appropriate.

그러니까 offering money 이것으로서 옛날에는 offerings 였다.

So, offering money used to be offerings in the old days.

이렇게 헌물을 드렸잖아요.

I offered this tribute, you know.

짐승 같은 거 그렇죠.

It's like a beast, isn't it?

이렇게 헌물을 드렸는데 이제 자본주의 시대니까 헌금을 드린단 말이에요.

I have given you this offering, but now we live in a capitalist era, so people say they make donations.

그래서 미국의 근본주의 신학이 만들어낸 헌금 있잖아요.

So there is the offering created by American fundamentalist theology.

자본주의의 스펙트럼에 따라 읽은 성경을 읽은 그 근본주의.

The fundamentalism that reads the Bible according to the spectrum of capitalism.

그 근본주의가 만들어낸 말이 offering money란 말이에요.

The term created by that fundamentalism is "offering money."

offerings 대신에 헌물 대신에 헌금을 만들어 냈단 말이에요.

Instead of offerings, they created donations.

그런데 이건 잘못된 거라고 말씀을 드렸죠.

But I told you this is wrong.

지난번에 제가 무엇이든지 물어보세요.

Last time, I said to ask me anything.

그 시간에.

At that time.

2주 전이지요.

It was two weeks ago.

그런데 이걸 이렇게 아직도 생각을 하시는 분이 있단 말이에요.

However, there are still people who think like this.

이건 그냥 교회의 필요를 위해서 membership fee 같은 게 맞단 말이죠.

This is just like a membership fee for the needs of the church.

교회의 여러 가지 필요에 따라 사용하기 위해서 가져가는 돈이지

It's money taken for various needs of the church.

그것이 하나님께 바치는 돈이 결코 아니다 라는 거죠.

It means that it is never money dedicated to God.

그것이 하나님께 바치는 돈의 성격이 되려면 형제에게 궁핍한 형제에게

In order for it to be the nature of money offered to God, it must go to a brother in need.

나눠주기 위한 용도로 사용될 때.

When used for the purpose of sharing.

그와 같은 용도로 사용하기 위해서 교회의 사도 앞에 이렇게 돈을 가지고

To use for the same purpose, bringing this money before the apostles of the church.

갈 때는 그 믿음을 하나님께서 보시는 거죠.

When you go, that faith is what God sees.

그 믿음을 그 돈을 받으시는 것이 아니라.

It is not about receiving that money, but rather the belief.

그러니까 하나님께 드렸기 때문에 이웃에게 줄 것이 남아 있지 않다.

So there is nothing left to give to my neighbor because I have given it to God.

사실은 내가 불신앙이다라고 스스로 말하는 것이나 동일한 거라는 거죠.

The truth is that it's the same as saying to oneself, "I am an unbeliever."

하나님께 드렸다고요? 뭘 드렸는데요?

하나님은요? 여러분들의 믿음만 보시는 거예요.

God is only looking at your faith.

하나님은 여러분들의 재물을 조금도 하늘에 쌓아두지 않으신다라는 거죠.

God does not store your wealth in heaven at all.

하늘에 쌓아두는 것은 그렇게 사용하길 원해서

What I pile up in the sky is for that purpose.

부족한 형제들을 위해서 사용하기 위해서

To be used for the needy brothers.

교회에 연보로 가져간 그 믿음을 하나님께서 하늘에 쌓아두고 계시는 거죠.

The faith you brought as an offering to the church is being stored up by God in heaven.

그리고 밥 먹을 때에 반드시 식사기도를 우리가 하고 있잖아요.

And we always say a prayer before our meals, right?

이게 여러분 유대인의 손 씻고 밥 먹는 것과 차이가 있다고 보십니까?

Do you think there is a difference between this and how you Jews wash your hands and eat?

물론 밥을 먹으면서 감사기도를 드리지 말아라 라는 말씀을 드리려고 하는 것이 아니라

Of course, I'm not saying that you shouldn't say a prayer of gratitude while eating.

이것을 조문화해서 시도돼서

This has been attempted by being organized.

장소도 가리지 않고

Regardless of the location

아무데서나 물 한 잔 먹기만 해도

Just drinking a glass of water anywhere

차 한 잔 마시려고만 해도

Just to have a cup of tea.

바로 기도에 돌입하려고 하는 그러한 신자들의 어떤 형태

A form of believers who are about to enter into prayer immediately.

이것은 바르지 않다라는 말씀을 드리는 겁니다.

What I'm saying is this is not right.

그냥 늘 모든 것 여러분들의 삶까지라도 주시는 이가 하느님이시고

It is God who always gives everything, even your lives.

거두십니다.

You are collecting.

주시는 이도 하느님이시다라고 하는 신자로서의 고백을 실천해서 살아가시면

If you live by practicing the confession that the one who gives is also God...

그렇게 매번 매번 먹고 마실 때마다

Every time you eat and drink like that.

그와 같은 기도를 안 하셔도 된다는 거죠.

You don't have to pray like him.

막 시끄러운 식당에서도 그렇게 하시는 분들 봤는데

I've seen people do that even in really noisy restaurants.

굳이 그럴 일이 없다라는 거죠.

There's really no need for that.

양이 구덩이에 빠지면 여러분들 주일날 살리실 겁니까?

If a sheep falls into a pit, will you lift it out on the Sabbath?

아니면 그냥 빠진 채로 두고 교회 가실 겁니까?

Are you going to leave it as it is, or are you going to go to church?

무슨 말인지요?

What do you mean?

무슨 말씀이냐 하면 여러분들 생업이 달려있는데 주일이라고

What I'm saying is that your livelihoods are at stake, yet it's Sunday.

그 일요일임에도 불구하고 나는 교회 꼭 가줘야 되겠다라고

Despite it being Sunday, I really have to go to church.

일을 거르실 겁니까?

Are you going to skip work?

그래서 이전에는 일요일날 일해야 되는 분들에게

So previously, for those who had to work on Sundays...

목사들이 꼭 기도 제목을 달아주었던 것이 뭐냐면

What the pastors always attached as a prayer request was what?

직업을 바꾸게 해주세요 라고 하는 기도를 드리게 했다라는 거죠.

It means that I ended up praying to have my job changed.

이건 정말 말이 안 돼요.

This really doesn't make sense.

발전소에 일하는 사람들이 그날 다 쉬어버리면

If all the people working at the power plant take the day off...

그 교회에 불을 켤 수가 없겠죠.

You won't be able to turn on the lights in that church.

조금만 생각해봐도 알터인데 말이죠.

You could tell just by thinking about it a little.

그런 것들을 그렇게 강요하고 했었단 말이에요.

They forced those things like that.

그런데 제가 드리는 말씀이

However, what I'm saying is...

정말 이미 제가 여러 차례 드린 말씀의 반복이긴 해도

Although it's really a repetition of what I've told you several times already,

새롭게 들으시는 분들이 있고

There are new listeners.

여전히 내 육신의 습관이 덜해지고

Still, my physical habits are decreasing.

덕지덕지 내 몸에 남아있어서 그대로 지키고 가는 것이 있는데

There are things that remain stubbornly on my body, and I continue to keep them as they are.

예수께서 말씀하시기를

Jesus said,

포도주 부대가 낡았으면 버려야 한다.

If the wine bag is worn out, it should be discarded.

꿰맸어서는 안 된다.

It must not be sewn.

왜냐하면 포도주 부대도 이제 다 터져버리고

Because the wine pouch has burst now.

그 안에 담겨져 있던 포도주도 다 터진

The wine inside it also burst.

포도주 부대의 구멍에 따라 다 흩어져 버릴 것이기 때문에

Because it will likely scatter depending on the holes in the wine bag.

땅바닥에 쏟아져 버려질 것이기 때문에 안 된다라고

It should not be because it will be spilled onto the ground.

말씀하셨습니다.

알면서도 지키지 못하는 신앙이 참 문제인 것 같아요.

여러분 구약시대에 하나님께서는

In the Old Testament era, God...

이스라엘에게 무지하다라는 말씀을 참 많이 하셨어요.

You have often spoken about how Israel is ignorant.

그런데 오늘 바울을 통해서 교회에게 동일한 말씀을 하고 계십니다.

However, today God is speaking the same message to the church through Paul.

성경을 읽고 있는 교회는

The church that is reading the Bible

성경을 읽고 있는 사람들에게 왜 이런 말씀을 하신 것일까요?

Why did He say these words to those who are reading the Bible?

성경에 대한 이해가 바르지 못해서 그렇고

It's because the understanding of the Bible is not correct.

또 이해가 있다고 하더라도 실천을 하지 못해서 그런 거겠죠.

Even if there is understanding, it seems that it's because one can't put it into practice.

초반에 제가 서두에 말씀드린 것처럼

As I mentioned at the beginning...

신학적으로 큰 충돌이 있었어요.

There was a significant theological conflict.

잘 이해를 하지 못했던 거죠.

I just didn't understand well.

해석은 오직 그렇게 해야만 하는데

Interpretation must be done only in that way.

서로 여러 갈래로 흩어진 다른 해석들을 했단 말이에요.

We had various interpretations that were scattered in different directions.

그래서 바울패스에서

So at Paul Pass

베드로파, 아볼로파, 예수파 이렇게 나눠져서

Divided into the groups of Peter, Apollos, and Jesus.

막 다툼을 벌였다는 거죠.

They say they had a big argument.

그리고 신자의 윤리 이 부분도 심각한 문제가 생겼고

And there are serious problems in this part of the believer's ethics.

그 윤리에 따른 실천 부분에 있어서도 다툼이 벌어졌단 말이에요.

There has been a dispute regarding the practice part that follows that ethics.

그러니까 이와 같이 무지하기 때문에

So it's because of this ignorance.

오늘도 동일한 말씀을 주시는 거고

Today, you are giving the same message again.

또 알면서도 실천하지 못하니까

Even though I know, I still can't put it into practice.

또 이 말씀을 주셨는데

And He gave me this word as well.

이게 고린도전서를 읽으면서

While reading 1 Corinthians,

오늘 공부를 해 나가면서

While studying today.

우리들에게 하시는 말씀이다 라고

It is a message directed to us.

여러분들이 생각을 하시기를 바랍니다.

I hope you all think about it.

먼저 말이에요.

First of all.

지난번 공부할 때 말이에요.

It was when we studied last time.

여러분.

Everyone.

2장 오늘 본문 말씀이 8절인데

Chapter 2, today's scripture is verse 8.

6절에 가서 보면 성숙한 성인의 말씀이고요.

If you go to verse 6, it speaks of the words of a mature adult.

성숙한 사람들은 이 세대의 지혜나 통치자들의 지혜를 말한다 라고 바울이 지적을 했어요.

Paul pointed out that mature people speak of the wisdom of this age or the wisdom of rulers.

그렇죠.

That's right.

성숙한 사람들이라는 거죠.

They are mature people.

성숙한 사람들.

Mature people.

그러면 이 세대의 지혜나 통치자들의 지혜

Then the wisdom of this generation or the wisdom of rulers.

오늘은 통치자들의 지혜라고 말을 하고 있는데

Today we are speaking of the wisdom of rulers.

이게 이 세대의 지혜는 마찬가지인 거죠.

This is the wisdom of this generation, just the same.

그렇죠.

That's right.

통치자들의 지혜가 이 세대에 흩뿌려져 있는 거니까.

Because the wisdom of the rulers is scattered in this generation.

그러면 그 통치자들의 지혜라는 것이 뭡니까 여러분.

So, what is the wisdom of those rulers, everyone?

통치자들의 지혜.

The wisdom of rulers.

먼저 십자가의 도라는 건 없다는 거죠.

First of all, there is no such thing as the way of the cross.

십자가의 도라는 건 없다.

There is no way of the cross.

즉 죽어서 다시 사는 구원이라는 건 없다라는 겁니다.

In other words, there is no salvation that comes from dying and coming back to life.

제가 한국에 갔을 때

When I went to Korea

제 말씀을 듣고 듣고 들어보아도.

Even after listening, listening, and listening to what I have to say.

제가 한국에 갔을 때 제 말씀을 듣고 듣고 들어보아도.

When I went to Korea, I listened to my words, and even after listening, I continued to listen.

이 죽어서 다시 산다고 하는 건 도무지 깨달을 수가 없다.

I can't understand at all what it means to die and then live again.

이렇게 말씀을 하시는 분도 계셨어요.

There were people who said it like this too.

여러분들 여전히 이것이 의문입니까?

Are you still questioning this, everyone?

죽어서 다시 사는 건 두 가지 차원에서 제가 말씀을 드릴게요.

I will explain about living again after death from two different dimensions.

아, 일단 통치자들의 지혜가 뭔가부터 쭉 먼저 말씀을 드리죠.

Ah, first let me tell you about what the wisdom of rulers is.

그러니까 십자가의 도라는 건 없다. 십자가의 도는 죽어서 다시 사는 거잖아요. 그렇죠?

So there is no way of the cross. The way of the cross is to die and be resurrected, right?

죽어서 다시 남도 살리고 그게 십자가의 도인데 그게 없다라는 거죠.

Dying and saving others again, that is the way of the cross, but that doesn't exist.

그게 이 세대의 지혜죠. 그게 통치자들의 지혜라는 거죠.

That is the wisdom of this generation. That is the wisdom of the rulers.

그리고 또 하나.

And one more thing.

그러나 그러다 보니까 이 천하만국의 영광을 취하는 것이 가장 바른 삶의 원칙이 되어져야 한다. 이렇게 가르치죠.

However, as a result, taking the glory of this world should become the principle of living a righteous life. This is what is taught.

천하만국의 영광을 취하는 것.

To seize the glory of all nations in the world.

그래서 제가 자꾸 강조를 해서 드린 말씀이 성경에서 돈과 성공을 읽어내더라.

So the point I've been emphasizing is that the Bible reflects on money and success.

아니면 명예나 업그레이드된 도덕 등을 취하려는 어떤 도덕책?

Or a moral book that seeks honor or upgraded morality?

뭐라고 말하죠? 요즘의 어떤 삶의 지침서?

What should I say? A guide to life these days?

이 정도를 읽어내더라. 라는 거죠.

It means that they can read to this extent.

교회에서조차.

Even in church.

그러다 보니까 교회에서도 계속해서 하는 것이 치유집회 이런 거 한단 말이에요. 치유집회.

As a result, the church keeps holding events like healing gatherings. Healing gatherings.

예수께서 단 한 번도 하지 않으셨던 치유집회.

A healing meeting that Jesus never held even once.

예수님께서 치유 사역을 보였을 때,

When Jesus showed His healing ministry,

그때는 요한복음 말씀대로 샘플링 하신 거예요.

At that time, you sampled according to the words of the Gospel of John.

그래서 자신이 하느님의 아들이심과 그리스도이심을 나타내시기 위해서 하셨던 거란 말이에요.

So it means that He did this to reveal that He is the Son of God and the Christ.

그래서 병 걸린 모두를 고쳐주시지 않고 그 중에 하나를 샘플링해서 하나를 픽업해서 예로 들어서 그런 것들을 만인에게 보여주셨고

So instead of healing everyone who was sick, you sampled one and picked it up to show such examples to everyone.

오히려 치유 집회를 바랐던 모든 사람들 마태복음 4장에 원금각지에서 예수 그리스도께서 병을 잘 고친다라고 하는 소문을 듣고 온 그 사람들

Rather, all the people who were hoping for a healing gathering came to Jesus Christ after hearing the rumors in Matthew 4 that He healed diseases well.

그 사람들을 외면하고 산에 따로 올라가 앉으시고 입을 열어 가르쳐 가라사대 하시면서 하늘의 섭리를 가르치셨잖아요.

He turned away from those people, went up to the mountain to sit alone, and opened his mouth to teach, saying that he would teach the principles of heaven.

그런데 요즘은 오히려 입장료를 받고 즉 헌금이라고 하는 입장료를 받고 말이죠.

These days, on the contrary, they charge an admission fee, which is called a donation.

그리고

And

치유 집회를 한단 말이에요.

We're having a healing gathering.

대놓고 기도원 같은 데서는 헌금을 요구하는 경우도 있죠.

There are cases where they request donations in places like openly religious retreats.

그렇죠.

That's right.

그렇게 병 걸렸다고 하는 사람들 그 사람들이 심리적으로 지푸라기라도 잡으려고 하는 심리를 이용해서 다 사람들 모아서 그런 것들을 진행해 나갔는데

People who say they are sick are using the psychology of trying to hold onto anything, even a straw, and they gathered everyone together to carry out such things.

예수님의 행적을 보면 그와는 정반대였다는 거죠.

If we look at the actions of Jesus, they were the exact opposite.

실제로 병을 잘 고쳤다.

I actually treated the illness well.

고치셨어요.

You fixed it.

지금의 사람들처럼 쇼를 하는 것이 아니라

Rather than performing like people do now,

그럼에도 불구하고 원금각지에서 참 병을 잘 고치더라 라고 하는 소문을 듣고 온 사람들을 다 외면하시고

Nevertheless, you turned away everyone who came after hearing rumors that the original place really does cure illnesses well.

외면하신 이유가 요한복음 11장에 잘 기록이 되어져 있죠.

The reason you turned away is well recorded in the Gospel of John, chapter 11.

내가 부활이고 생명인 걸 알지 못하느냐 라고 하면서 자기의 형제 남자 형제가 죽게 되었으니 살려주시옵소서 했던 그 사람들에게 했단 말이에요.

"Do you not know that I am the resurrection and the life?" He said this to those who had asked Him, "Please raise my brother who has died."

그렇죠.

That's right.

그리고 죽고 나서 예수를 향해서 일가를 해냈던 여형제들이나 자매들이나 일가 친척들에게 예수께서 직접 하신 말씀이에요.

And this is a word directly spoken by Jesus to the sisters and relatives who had reached out to him after he died.

내가 부활이고 생명인 걸 알지 못하느냐 이렇게 말씀하셨잖아요.

"Don't you know that I am the resurrection and the life? You said it like this."

그것 때문인 거거든요.

It's because of that.

자신이 부활이고 생명인 걸 알지 못하는 그 사람들이 단지 육신의 치유를 위해서 모여왔단 말이에요.

Those people who do not know that they are the resurrection and the life have gathered only for the healing of the flesh.

그 사람들을 완전히 외면했던 거죠.

They completely turned their backs on those people.

왜냐하면 자신이 이 땅에 오신 이유는 그것 때문이 아니었단 말이에요.

Because the reason you came to this earth was not because of that.

그래서 그러셨던 거거든요.

So that's why you did that.

그런데 그 부활 몸이 다시 사는 거 이걸 현자라고 하는 사람들 세상에 1장에 가서 세상에 현자가 있느냐 그랬거든요.

However, there are people who call this resurrected body the enlightened one; when I went to the world of Chapter 1, I asked if there are enlightened ones in the world.

그런데 세상에 현자가 있어요.

But there is a sage in the world.

그런데 세상에 지혜로 똘똘 뭉쳐진 세상의 현자죠.

But in the world, they are the wise ones, tightly packed with wisdom.

그런데 1장에 고린도 조사 1장에 세상에 현자가 있겠느냐 했었을 때는

However, when it was said in 1 Corinthians chapter 1, "Is there wisdom in the world?"

하늘의 지혜 하나님의 지혜를 가진 그런 현자가 있겠느냐 했을 때 없다라는 말씀이거든요.

Is there such a sage with the wisdom of God from heaven? The answer is no.

그런데 세상의 현자 세상에 지혜를 가지고 지혜가 충만한 것과 같은 세상의 현자들은

However, the wise men of the world, who possess wisdom and are full of wisdom, are like...

그 사람들은 그렇게 말하잖아요.

They say that.

과학적으로 도무지 설명이 되어지지 않는다.

It cannot be explained scientifically at all.

그리고 이성적으로 경험적으로도 도무지 이해가 가는 것이 아니다라고 하면서

"And saying that, rationally and experientially, it is completely incomprehensible."

몸이 다시 사는 것을 부정한단 말이에요.

It means that the body is denying its revival.

그렇죠.

That's right.

그러니까 죽어서 다시 사는 건 이와 같이 몸이 다시 살아나는 거예요.

So, to be resurrected means that the body comes back to life like this.

또 하나 또 다른 측면이 있는데

There is another aspect to consider.

썩을 것으로 심근한

It will rot.

그 다음에 영광스러운 것으로 다시 살아나는 건데

Then it comes back to life in glory.

새로운 몸으로 난다라고 하는 것은 뭐냐면

What it means to be reborn with a new body is...

다시 살 때 새로운 몸으로 난다라고 하잖아요. 고린도 조사 15장에

They say that when we are resurrected, we are born again in a new body. In 1 Corinthians chapter 15.

그건 뭐냐면 윤리적으로 완전히 하나님의 모습과 형상을 회복한 상태가 되는 거거든요.

What it means is that one becomes completely restored to the image and likeness of God in an ethical sense.

하나님의 절대선 이것을 회복한 그런 거 그게 다시 사는 거예요.

Restoring God's absolute goodness, that is what it means to live again.

그러니까 썩을 몸 이 썩을 육체로 인해서 연약한 육체로서

So, because of this decaying body, as a weak flesh.

죽는 거죠. 그렇죠.

We're going to die, right?

그래서 이 썩을 몸이 심겨지는 거예요.

So this rotten body is being planted.

그래서 완전히 썩어 진토가 되어버리는 거죠.

So it completely becomes rotten and turns into dirt.

그리고 새로운 몸으로 다시 사는 거죠.

And you live again in a new body.

윤리적으로 세상에 있지 않는 하나님의 절대선을 다시 회복하게 되는 거란 말이에요.

It means that we are going to restore God's absolute goodness, which does not exist in the world ethically.

그렇죠.

That's right.

그래서 나는 날마다 죽노라고 하는 그 바울의 고백이

So the confession of Paul that he dies every day

자신의 몸에 덕지덕지 붙어 있는

stuck all over one's body

그와 같은 자신이 만든

Made by someone like him.

율법들을 뜯어내는

tearing apart the laws

그러한 것 그것이 죽음이고 다시 하나님의 말씀 안에서

That thing, that is death, and again within God's word.

새로운 피조물이 되는 거 이것이

Becoming a new creation, this is

죽어서 다시 사는 거다 이렇게 말씀을 드렸죠.

It means living again after death, as I mentioned.

그런데 세상에 이 세대의 지혜라고 하는 그 통치자들의 지혜는 이런 십자가의 도 즉

However, the wisdom of the rulers of this generation, which is called the wisdom of the world, is like this path of the cross, that is...

죽어서 다시 사는

To die and be reborn.

그런 도는 없다 이렇게 말을 한다는 거죠.

There is no such way to say this.

그렇죠.

That's right.

그런데 이걸 누가 구하더라?

By the way, who is looking for this?

성숙한 자들이 구하더라 라는 거예요.

It means that mature people seek.

그러니까 천하만국의 영광을 취하는 것이

So, it is taking the glory of all nations in the world.

가장 삶에 옳고 바람직한 원리가 되어져야 한다.

It must become the most right and desirable principle in life.

그렇게 가르친단 말이죠.

That's how they teach.

그리고 수적 성장이 교회 부흥이다.

And numerical growth is church revival.

이건 신학교에서 조차 가르치기 때문에 교회 성장학

This is taught even in seminary, which is church growth studies.

이런 과목을 만들어서 가르치고 있다는 거죠.

It means that they are creating and teaching such subjects.

독일 신학자로 세계적인 교회 성장학에 거두가 있어요.

There is a prominent German theologian in the field of global church growth.

이게 교단을 막론하고 쓰는 교회 성장학의 교과서가 있는데

There is a textbook on church growth that is used regardless of denomination.

NCD라고 약자로 Natural Church Development이거든요.

NCD stands for Natural Church Development.

이게 한국말로도 제가 공부를 했을 때는 번역이 되지 않았는데

When I studied this in Korean, it couldn't be translated.

지금은 한국말로 번역이 되어서 한국 신학교에서도 쓰여진단 말이에요.

It is now translated into Korean and is being used in Korean seminaries.

그런데 여기서도 뭐라고 말을 했나요?

But what did they say here?

물론 하나님의 말씀을 말하고 있지만

Of course, I am speaking the word of God, but...

결국 이와 같이 교회가 양쪽으로 커지는 이런 이야기를 주로 담고 있거든요.

Ultimately, it mainly contains stories about how the church is growing on both sides.

그러니까 참 안타까운 일이라는 거죠.

So it's really a sad thing.

신학교에서 조차 이와 같이 수적 성장 이걸 말을 하고 있는데

Even in seminary, they are talking about this kind of numerical growth.

성경은 그렇게 말을 하고 있지 않죠.

The Bible doesn't say that.

하나님의 영광을 아는 지식이 온 세상에 편만하게 퍼지는 것

The knowledge of God's glory being spread abundantly throughout the whole world.

그걸 성장이라고 말을 하고 있답니다.

They say that is called growth.

이렇게 말해요.

This is how I say it.

그리고 사다리형 권력 구조 유지 이런 것들이 통치자들의 지혜죠.

And maintaining a ladder-shaped power structure is the wisdom of the rulers.

그래서 예를 들어서 한국의 교단들의 연합체라고 하는 것이

For example, what is referred to as a union of Korean denominations.

한기총인데 한기총에서 그랬죠.

It's the Korean Christian Federation, and they said that.

우리가 범 기독교다.

We are pan-Christian.

우리가 기독교를 대표한다.

We represent Christianity.

이렇게 말을 아무렇지도 않게 한단 말이에요.

You're saying this so nonchalantly.

그렇죠?

That's right?

그리고 교단 중심인 어떤 구조가 있단 말이에요.

And there is some structure that is centered around the church.

한국 기독교는.

Korean Christianity.

이런 것들.

Things like these.

그리고 교회에 가서 보아도 여전히 사다리형 권력 구조 이것들을

And even when you go to church, you can still see these ladder-like power structures.

공고하게 유지하고 있죠.

It is being maintained firmly.

그런데 하나님의 눈은 그렇지 않죠.

But God's eyes are not like that.

출애굽 사건에 출애굽 역사도 보면 하나님의 눈은 다수의 이스라엘

In the event of the Exodus, if we look at the history of the Exodus, God's gaze is upon the multitude of Israel.

에게 초점이 많습니다.

There is a lot of focus on.

그런데 또 하나님까지는 그 눈이 그 중에 무언가를 맞춰줬지 모세가

However, God also made sure that Moses hit something with that eye.

아니라는 거죠.

It means "That's not it."

그래서 신약시대에 분명하게 말씀으로 기록을 해 놓은 것이 하나님을 신앙하는

Therefore, it is clearly stated in the scriptures of the New Testament that those who have faith in God.

신자들이 하나님 나라요.

The believers are the kingdom of God.

백성이요.

It is the people.

그렇죠.

That's right.

그다음에 거룩한 왕이요.

Then the holy king.

왕 같은.

Like a king.

거룩한 왕 같은 제사장이다.

It is a holy priesthood like a king.

이렇게 거룩한 나라다.

This is such a holy country.

거룩한 백성이다.

It is a holy people.

그러고 왕 같은.

And then like a king.

받지 않는 왕같은 존재고

A being that does not receive like a king.

그리고 제사장이다. 그랬죠.

And he is a priest. That's right.

하나님의 눈은 다수

The eyes of God are many.

하나님의 백성, 백성에게

God's people, to the people.

있지. 특정 지도자에게

Yes. To a specific leader.

있지 않단 말이에요. 그런데

I’m saying it doesn’t exist. But...

이렇게 지금

Like this now.

한국 기독교계에서 만들어놓고 있고

It has been created within the Korean Christian community.

다수의 무지한 사람들이

Many ignorant people

목사 중심의 신앙

Pastor-centered faith

생활이라는 걸 하려고

To live life.

한단 말이에요. 그래서 종을

I'm telling you. So the bell...

상전 모시듯 모시는 거죠.

It's like serving a lord.

스스로 종이라고 하면서

Calling oneself a servant

자신이 흡사 레위인인 것처럼 말을

Speaking as if one is almost a Levite.

하는데 거기에 말씀

I'm saying that there.

에 대한 이해가

Understanding of

전무한 평신도라고 하는

A layperson who is called 'infinite'.

사람들이 아멘으로 화답해서

People responded with "Amen."

목사라는 사람들을

The people called a pastor.

상전으로 모신다라는 거죠.

It means to serve as a master.

그래서 기독교계에서는 상전

So in the Christian community, the master

즉 서번트라고 하는 사람들이

In other words, the people called servants.

서번트는 누구의 서번트?

Whose servant is the servant?

주의 서번트. 주의 종이잖아요.

Attention, servant. You are a servant, after all.

Servant of the Lord. 이렇게

Servant of the Lord.

돼야 되잖아요. 상전이

It has to be done, right? The master.

따로 있단 말이에요. 주, 주인이 따로

There is a separate owner. The owner is different.

있는데 종이라고

There is a bell.

말을 하면서 상전으로

While speaking, as a master.

등치시켜서 이해를

I understand by relating it to size.

하는 것 같아요.

It seems like I am doing it.

종이고 상전처럼. 그래서

"Like a paper and a master. So,"

대놓고 말하기를 목사 섬기는 것이

To put it bluntly, serving as a pastor is...

하나님을 섬기는 거라고

It means serving God.

말을 하는 사람도 있는데

There are also people who speak.

이런 말에도 아멘하더라.

He/she said amen to such words.

도무지 말이 안 되는 일들이

Things that simply don't make sense.

한국 기독교에서 교회들에게서

In Korean Christianity, from the churches.

벌어지고 있는 거죠.

It is happening.

뭐 이밖에도

What else is there?

여러분들이 그동안

What you all have been through.

많이 생각을 하셨고 경험들을 하셨고

You have thought a lot and gone through experiences.

그 다음에 저도

더 많은 이야기를 했습니다.

그런데 대충

Well, roughly...

이렇게만 살펴보아도 이런 것들이

Just by looking at this, things like this...

바로 통치자들의 지혜라는 거죠.

It's precisely the wisdom of the rulers.

뭐 한 가지 지나가다가 더 성숙한

What passes by is something more mature.

사람들이 말하는

What people are saying.

이 세대의 지혜는 뭐냐면

What is the wisdom of this generation?

그것이 신자의 지혜처럼 보이지만

It may seem like the wisdom of a believer.

즉 하늘의 지혜처럼 보이지만

It may seem like the wisdom of the heavens, but...

아닌 것이 뭐냐면

What it is not is

조금 전에 말씀드렸던 11조

The 11th article I mentioned a little while ago.

같은 거거든요. 그렇죠?

It's the same thing, right?

11조를

11th article

11조 생활을 한다고 하는 사람들

People who say they live on 11 trillion won.

그리고 남에게 11조 생활을

And the 11th chapter of life to others.

해야 한다고 권면한 사람들은

Those who advised that it should be done

대개가 자신들이

Most of them themselves

성숙한 사람들이다라고

They are mature people.

스스로를

Yourself

믿는 사람들이에요.

They are believers.

그렇죠?

That's right, isn't it?

그런데 그것은

However, that is...

이 세대의 지혜라는 거죠.

It's the wisdom of this generation.

자본주의에 함몰된

Immersed in capitalism

그리고 자본주의를

And capitalism

스펙트럼으로 해서 성경을 읽은

I read the Bible through the spectrum.

그 사람들의

Those people's

시각이니까

Because it’s visual.

해석이니까 그건 세상 것이에요.

Since it's an interpretation, that's of the world.

결코

Never

하늘의 지혜가 아니라는 거죠.

It's not wisdom from the heavens.

이런 게

This kind of thing.

세상에

Oh my goodness!

즉 통치자들의 지혜인데

In other words, it is the wisdom of the rulers.

이 통치자들의 지혜는

The wisdom of these rulers is

결코 구원에 이르게 하는 지혜가

The wisdom that leads to salvation.

아니라는 거예요.

That's not true.

그렇죠?

That's right?

그래서

바울을 통해

바울을 통해서 하느님께서

말씀을 하셨던 거죠.

You were saying something.

1절에 뭐라고 바울이 말을 했냐면

In the first verse, what did Paul say?

나는 하나님의 비밀을 전할 때에

When I proclaim the secrets of God

훌륭한 말이나 지혜로 하지 않았다.

It was not done with great words or wisdom.

여기서 훌륭한 말은

The great words here are

세상의 말이죠.

It's the talk of the world.

지혜 역시 세상의 지혜를 말을 하는 거예요.

Wisdom also speaks of the wisdom of the world.

훌륭한 말이나 지혜로 하지 않았다.

It was not done with great words or wisdom.

이렇게 말을 하고 있다는 거죠.

This is what I'm saying.

완전히 선을 긋는 거예요.

It means to draw a clear line.

뭔가

다른 말을 했다는 거죠.

You mean that you said something different.

것을 전했다.

It was conveyed.

그렇죠?

그리고 4절에 가서 말한 것이

이것이 성령의 능력이 나타낸

This is the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit.

증거거든요.

It's proof.

그러니까 예수 그리스도가 직접 말씀하신 것처럼

So, just like Jesus Christ said directly...

자기 자신이 바로

Just yourself

하늘의 섭리를

The providence of heaven.

증거하는 것이다.

It is to prove.

라고 요한복음에 말씀해 놓고 있잖아요.

It is written in the Gospel of John.

나를 통해서

Through me

하나님을 알 수 있다는 거잖아요.

It means that we can know God.

나를 보는 것이 하나님을 보는 거다.

Seeing me is seeing God.

이렇게

말씀을 하고 계시잖아요.

You are speaking.

그런데 예수께서

But Jesus

공생회를 하시기 전에

Before holding a co-living meeting

침례를 받으실 때에

When you are baptized

성령이 비둘기처럼 그에게 임하셨잖아요.

The Holy Spirit came upon Him like a dove.

인간 예수가

마리아라는

여자의 몸에서 나온 인간 예수가

일을 해나가시기 전에

어떤 훌륭한 말이나 지혜로

무엇을 막 설명하려고 한 것이 아니라

성령의 능력이 나타낸 증거

Evidence of the power of the Holy Spirit.

즉 예수 그리스도가

That is, Jesus Christ.

예수께서

Jesus

인간 예수께서 그리스도가

The human Jesus is the Christ.

그리스도로 사신

Living as Christ.

그 삶

That life.

그 삶을 증거했다라는 거죠.

It means that life was testified.

그 삶을 통해서 나타낸

Expressed through that life

하늘 섭리

Heavenly Providence

그걸

That.

그걸 전했다라는 거예요.

That means it was conveyed.

바울이.

Paul.

그렇죠?

That's right, isn't it?

그것이 바로 죽어서 다시 사는

That is exactly what being reborn after death means.

십자가의 도

The way of the cross.

그걸 전했다라고 말을 한 거거든요.

I said that I conveyed that.

그리고 5절에 가서

And then go to verse 5.

이유를 설명했어요.

I explained the reason.

왜 그렇게 했는가?

Why did you do that?

여러분들의 믿음이

Your faith.

사람의 지혜에 바탕을 두지 않고

Without relying on human wisdom

하나님의 능력에 바탕을 두게 하려는

To base it on God's power.

목적이 있어서였다라고

It was because there was a purpose.

분명히 5절에

Certainly in verse 5.

말을 해놓고 있다라는 거죠.

It means that you are saying something.

그렇죠? 그게 이유였어요.

That's right, that was the reason.

사람의 훌륭한 말이나

A person's great words or

세상의 지혜를 하지 않은 이유가

The reason for not practicing the wisdom of the world.

그거라는 거죠.

세상의 학문

The knowledge of the world.

그 지식을 바탕으로 한 것이 아니라

It is not based on that knowledge.

그것을 바탕으로

두게 하기 위해서라는 거죠.

That's right? When you die.

다시 사는 것을 말하지 않는 사람들은

Those who do not speak of living again.

그저 예수의 정신만을

Only the spirit of Jesus.

말을 한단 말이에요. 그래서

그를 사상가

혁명가 등으로 그렇게

As a revolutionary and so on.

말을 하는 거예요. 그렇죠?

You are talking, right?

그런데 그게 아니라니까요.

But that’s not it.

여러분들의 믿음이

Your faith.

그런 사람의 지혜에

the wisdom of such a person

그런 것에 바탕을 두지 않고

Without basing it on such things.

하나님의 능력

God's power

하나님의 능력이 뭐예요? 구원의 능력

What is God's power? The power of salvation.

하나님의 능력

그러면 구원의 능력이란 말이에요.

Then it means the power of salvation.

그렇죠? 세상에 없는

That's right? Something that doesn't exist in the world.

죽어서 다시

Die and return.

살게 하는 그 능력

The ability to make one live.

예수 그리스도를 통해서

Through Jesus Christ

보여주신 그것. 그렇죠?

What you showed me. Right?

그 하나님의 능력에

In that power of God

바탕을 두게 하려는 목적이

The purpose of wanting to set a foundation.

있어서였다라고 2장 5절에

분명하게

말씀하고 계시단 말이죠.

그렇죠? 그리고 7절에 와서

그러면서도 말하기를

말을 하죠. 우리는 비밀로

감추어져 있는 하나님의 지혜를

The hidden wisdom of God.

말한다. 이렇게 주장을 해요.

They say. They make this argument.

그러니까 이때는 지혜가

So at that time, wisdom was...

하나님의 지혜라는 거죠. 세상의 지혜가

It's the wisdom of God. The wisdom of the world.

아니라. 1절에서는

No, in the first verse...

훌륭한 말이나 지혜로 하지 않았다.

It wasn't done with great words or wisdom.

라고 했을 땐 세상의 지혜를 말하는 거예요.

When I say that, I'm talking about the wisdom of the world.

그런데 그러면서도

However, even so,

말을 하기를 1절에

In the first verse.

지혜로 말하지 않았다라고 하면서도

Even though I said I didn't speak wisely,

말하기를 지혜로 말한다.

Speak with wisdom.

그런데 이 지혜는 세상의 지혜가

However, this wisdom is the wisdom of the world.

아니다. 라고 하는 거죠. 비밀로

감추어져 있는 하나님의

지혜다.

그리고 그 지혜는 어떤

And that wisdom is something

지혜냐 하면

If you're talking about wisdom, then...

우리를 영광스럽게 하시려고 미리

To glorify us in advance.

정하신 지혜다라는 거죠.

It's the wisdom you have determined.

영광스럽게 된다는 건 뭐죠?

What does it mean to be glorified?

세상의 모든

All of the world's

죄로부터 완전하게

Completely from sin.

벗어난 상태. 이게 영광스럽게

A state of deviation. This is gloriously.

되는 거잖아요.

It's possible.

그게 영광체가 되는 거거든요.

That becomes the body of glory.

모든 흠 있는 것들로부터

From all things imperfect.

흠 있는 것들은 모두

All the things that are flawed.

썩어져 진토가 되어버리고

It has rotted away and become mud.

새로운 몸으로 나게 되는 거. 그게

It's being born with a new body. That's it.

영광스럽게 되는 거란 말이에요.

It means becoming glorious.

그 영광스럽게 되는 것을

To become glorious.

로마서 3장에서는 제가

여러 차례 강조해서 말씀을 드린 거란 말이에요.

모든 죄로부터

From all sins.

벗어나서 의의에 이르게 되는 것.

Escaping to reach significance.

그것을 영광스럽게

하나님의 절대에서는 회복하는 것.

Restoration in God's absolute.

그 회복하게

하시기 위해서

비밀로 감추어져서

Hidden in secret

그 하나님의 지혜를 말을 하는

It speaks of the wisdom of that God.

것이다. 라는 거죠.

하늘의 지혜를 믿음으로

Believe in the wisdom of the heavens.

수용해서 그 믿음으로 믿음에

하나님의 지혜라고 하는 것은

하나님의 능력은 구원에 이르게 하는

The power of God leads to salvation.

능력인 것처럼 하나님의 지혜는

Like a skill, God's wisdom is

지혜라는 거예요. 그래서

가장 멋들어진 것임에도 불구하고

왜 바울이 이렇게 말을 했을까요?

Why did Paul say this?

Like him.

매우 아름다운 신앙 고백임에도

Despite being a very beautiful confession of faith,

불구하고 이것을 조문화

Despite this, I will adjust it to a cultural format.

해서 막 다툼이

So there was a big argument.

벌어졌으니까. 그렇죠.

It happened, didn't it?

그것 때문에 보내신 게

Is that why you sent it?

아니라는 거죠. 하늘의 비밀의 말

It's not true. The words of the secret of the heavens.

하늘의 지혜의 말

Words of heavenly wisdom.

하늘 섭리

Heaven's providence

이걸 전하라고 했던 거지

You said to convey this, right?

그와 같은 형식을 실천하라고 했던 건 아니라는 거죠.

That doesn't mean I asked you to practice the same form as him.

그래서 그리스도께서는

친례를 주라고 나를 보내신 것이 아니라

You did not send me to receive a special treatment.

복음을 전하라고 보내셨습니다.

He sent us to proclaim the gospel.

이렇게 말을 하고 이어서

After saying this, 이어서

복음을 전하되 말의 지혜로 하지 않게

Do not preach the gospel with the wisdom of words.

하셨습니다. 그것은

그리스도의 십자가가

The cross of Christ.

헛되지 않게

Don't let it be in vain.

하시려는 것입니다.

You are going to do it.

말의 지혜로 하지 않게 하셨습니다.

He did not allow it to be done with the wisdom of words.

여러분들 복음을

말로 전한다고 생각하지 마세요.

Don't think of it as just speaking.

복음을 말로 전하는 게 아니에요.

The gospel is not communicated through words.

물론 말로 잘

Of course, well spoken.

이해를 해야 하죠. 말로 전해야만

You need to understand. You can only convey it through words.

해요. 그런데 그 말에는

I do. But in that statement,

반드시 바울처럼

Must be like Paul.

자신이 그와 같은

Someone like him.

하늘의 비밀의 섭리의 삶을

The life of the providence of the secrets of heaven.

살아내는 것이 선행이 되어져야

Living must become a virtuous act.

된다는 거죠. 나는 날마다

It means that it works. I do it every day.

죽노라

I am dying.

누구 안에서? 그리스도 예수 안에서

In whom? In Christ Jesus.

그의 죽음과

His death and

합해져서 나는 죽노라

Merged together, I die.

그가 십자가에 달린 것처럼 나도

Just like he was crucified, so am I.

십자가에 달린

Crucified

죽노라라고 하는 고백이

The confession of saying "I will die."

고백적 삶이

A life of confession

선행되어져야 한단 말이에요.

It has to be done beforehand.

그랬을 때 전해지는 말이

The words that are conveyed at that time.

살아 운동력 있게 되는 거죠. 남에게도

It becomes vibrant and energetic. To others as well.

그렇죠.

That's right.

그러니까 말의 지혜로 하지 않게

So, don't rely on the wisdom of words.

하셨고 이유는

You did it, and the reason is...

그리스도의 십자가가 헛되이 되지

The cross of Christ will not be in vain.

않게 하시려는 거죠. 지금은요

You want to make sure it doesn't happen, right? Not at the moment.

아무리 전해봐요. 너나

No matter how much I tell you. You or me.

잘해. 이렇게 말을 한다니까요.

You're doing well. This is how I'm speaking.

그러니까 여러분

So, everyone.

구원에 대해서 성경적으로

Biblically about salvation.

그리고 신학적으로 아무리

And theologically, no matter how much

바른 정리를 하고 계시고

You are organizing correctly.

바른 이해를 갖고 계시다고

You have a correct understanding.

하더라도 그것 가지고

Even if that's the case.

여러분들이 구원 받았다라고

You have been saved.

하는 증거가 하나님 앞에서 될 수

It can become evidence before God.

없다라는 거예요.

It means there is none.

그것이 이성적인 이해

That is rational understanding.

그렇죠?

That's right?

그리고 그걸 마음으로 수용했다고

And I accepted that in my heart.

하더라도 그것을

Even if it is that.

실천적 삶으로

Through a practical life

살아내지 못한다면

If you can't live through it.

못한다면 여러분들

If you can't do it, everyone.

아직 구원에 이르는 게 된 것이

It has not yet become a path to salvation.

아니라는 거죠.

That's not true.

다시 말씀을 드릴게요.

도에 대해서 죽었다

사는 비밀에 대해서 여러분들이

머리로

With the head

이해를 하고 깨닫고 계시다고 하더라도

Even if you say that you understand and realize it.

즉 성경적으로 신학적으로

That is, biblically and theologically.

바른 이해와 바른 정리를

Correct understanding and correct organization.

하고 계시다고 하더라도

Even if you are doing it.

나는 날마다

I do it every day.

죽노를 하는 실천적 삶이

A practical life of living for the moment.

따르지 않는다면 여러분들은

If you do not follow, you will.

아직 구원에 이르지 못한 상태다

I am still in a state that has not yet reached salvation.

라는 거예요.

It's saying that.

여러분들이 여러분들의 삶을 쭉

You all have been living your lives continuously.

펴놓고 살펴보셔야 하는 거거든요.

You need to spread it out and take a look.

그래서 그리스도의 십자가가

So the cross of Christ

헛되지 않게 하시려는

To prevent it from being in vain.

의도 때문에 말의

Because of the intent, the words...

지혜로 하지 않게 하셨다라는 거죠.

It means that it was not done wisely.

바울에게. 그렇죠?

To Paul. Right?

그리고 18절에

And in verse 18

십자가의 말씀이 멸망할

The word of the cross will perish.

자들에게는 어리석은 것이지만

It may be foolish to them, but...

구원을 받는 사람인

A person who is saved.

우리에게는 하나님의 능력입니다.

We have the power of God.

그냥 죽기만 했는데

죽은 그 죽음이

The death of the dead.

어떤 메시지를 전하더라.

What message are they conveying?

그 죽음의 행동이

The act of that death

그 행함이 어떤

What act is that?

말씀을 담고 있더라 라는 거죠.

It means that it contains a message.

우리에게 전하는

Delivering to us

어떤 메시지가 있더라.

There was some message.

그게 뭐예요?

What is that?

그게 멸망할 자들에게는

For those who are destined for ruin.

매우 어리석은 거지만

It's a very foolish thing, but...

왜요? 그걸 세상적으로 이해하니까

Why? Because I understand it in worldly terms.

정치적으로 이해하니까

I understand it politically.

사회적으로 이해하니까

Because I understand it socially.

그렇죠?

That's right?

단지 인문학적으로 이해를 하니까

It's simply understood from a humanities perspective.

도무지 알아낼

I can't figure it out at all.

방도가 없는 거죠.

There's no way out.

왜 저렇게 죽어? 의미도 없이

Why are they dying like that? Without any meaning.

세상에서 치욕적인 죽음을

A humiliating death in the world.

왜 저렇게 죽어?

Why is he/she dying like that?

약지도 못하게?

Can't even make excuses?

그거 아니에요.

That's not it.

무슨 의미가 있다고?

What does it mean?

그렇죠?

That's right, isn't it?

예수가 그리스도가 되어서

Jesus became the Christ.

나를 통하지 않고는 아버지 나라를 볼 자가 없다.

No one can see the Father’s kingdom except through me.

나를 보는 것이

Looking at me

아버지를 보는 것이다.

It is to see father.

라고 하는 말을 깨닫지 못한다면

If you don't realize the words that are being said...

예수를 보험에 있어서

In regards to insurance, Jesus.

아무리 인문학적인 이해를 한다고 하더라도

No matter how much one understands the humanities,

그가 뭐 그렇게

What's he like so much?

대단한 삶을 살았냔 말이에요.

I’m saying you’ve lived an extraordinary life.

그렇죠?

That's right?

그가 사회개혁을

He is a social reformer.

대단한 어떤

Something amazing

움직임을 보였느냐라는 거죠.

The question is whether there was any movement shown.

그저 작은 구제

Just a little relief.

사회에 어려운 사람들을

People in difficult situations in society

좀 도우며 살아야 되지 않겠니?

Don't you think we should help each other out?

정도의 말은 있었어도

There were words to that extent.

그런 말씀은 세상에도

Such words exist in the world as well.

널부러져 있단 말이에요.

I'm saying that I'm sprawled out.

세상에 현자들이 해놓은 말에도

Even in the words of the wise men of the world,

굉장히 많이 있단 말이에요.

There are a lot of them.

겨우 그 정도를 읽어낼 것이냐라는 거죠.

Are you saying that you can only read that much?

그렇죠?

Right?

그래서 멸망할 자들에게는

So for those who are doomed to perish

어리석은 거다.

It's foolish.

겨우 그것 때문에

Just because of that.

죽임을 당하느냐.

Are you going to be killed?

겨우 그것 때문에

Just because of that.

종교 지도자들, 정치 지도자에게

Religious leaders, to political leaders.

잡혀서 치욕적인 죽임을

A shameful death after being captured.

당해야 할 것이냐.

Should I endure it?

어리석어 보이잖아요.

You look foolish.

그런데 구원을 받은 사람

But the person who has been saved.

하늘 백성이 된 사람

A person who became a citizen of heaven.

그리스도 나라의 백성이 된

The people of the kingdom of Christ.

그 사람

That person.

예수를 볼 때 하나님을 보는 것처럼 보는 사람

A person who sees Jesus as seeing God.

그렇죠?

That's right, isn't it?

예수를 통해서만

Only through Jesus.

아버지 나라에 갈 수 있다라고

I can go to my father's country.

믿음으로 고백하는 그 사람

That person who confesses with faith.

그 사람들에게는

To those people

하나님의 능력이 되더라

It became the power of God.

라는 거잖아요.

It means.

그렇죠?

That's right?

그러니까 하늘의 지혜는

So the wisdom of heaven is

이걸 말하는 거거든요.

이게 십자가의 도를 말하는 거예요.

This is what speaks of the way of the cross.

그러니까 하늘의 지혜는

바로 성령의 능력인데

예수를 통해서 십자가의

Through Jesus, the cross of

I did not know God.

세상은요.

The world is.

세상의 지혜로 하나님을 알지 못한다는 거죠.

It means that one cannot know God through the wisdom of the world.

선언적으로 딱 못 박듯이 해놓는 거예요.

It's done in a way that clearly declares and establishes it.

하나님의 지혜가 그렇게 되도록 한 것입니다.

It is God's wisdom that has brought it to be this way.

그러니까 성령의 능력이 된

So it became the power of the Holy Spirit.

십자가의 도로 나타난

The way of the cross has appeared.

그 메시지가

That message

세상의 지혜를 그렇게

That’s how the wisdom of the world is.

만들었다라는 거죠.

It means "It was made."

즉,

In other words,

그 십자가의 도라고 하는 것

What is called the doctrine of the cross.

성령의 능력이라고 하는 것

The power of the Holy Spirit.

하나님의 지혜라고 하는 것은

What is called the wisdom of God

세상의 지혜와

The wisdom of the world and

완전히 100%

Completely 100%

구별된 것이다.

It has been distinguished.

라는 말씀을 이렇게 말을 하는 거예요.

What I'm saying is this.

문학적으로.

Literarily.

하나님의 지혜가 그렇게 되도록 한 것이다.

It is the wisdom of God that has made it so.

라고 말을 하는 거죠.

That's what I'm saying.

그러니까 십자가에 달려

So, being hung on the cross.

죽으심으로 그리고 살아내 다시

By dying and living again.

사심으로

With selfish motives.

전달되어진 십자가의 도는

The doctrine of the cross that has been delivered

세상에 지금까지

Until now in the world

있어 왔던 그와 같은

Like the one who has been here.

지혜와

wisdom and

분명히 구별되도록

To be clearly distinguished.

그렇게 하신 것이다.

That is what you have done.

그 메시지는 완전히 다른 것이다.

That message is completely different.

라고 하는 거죠.

That's what it means.

그렇죠.

That's right.

그리고 하나님께서는 어리석게 들리는

And God sounds foolish.

설교를 통하여 믿는 사람들을

Through preaching, those who believe.

구원하시기를 기뻐하실 것입니다.

He will be pleased to save.

그러니까 프리칭

So, preaching.

설교라고 하는 것은 이런 것이 되어줘야 한다는 거죠.

통치자들의 지혜는

The wisdom of the rulers is

2세대의 지혜인데

It's the wisdom of the second generation.

로마서 12장에 가서도

Even when you go to Romans chapter 12.

2세대를 본받지 말라

Do not follow the example of the second generation.

이렇게 말씀을 해놓고 계시고

You are saying this like this.

가난한 땅

Poor land

적과 꿀이 흐르는 땅이라서

Because it is a land flowing with milk and honey.

가난한 땅이라고 문학적으로 묘사해놓은

Described as a land of poverty in a literary sense.

그 낙원을 상징했던

That which symbolized the paradise.

가난한 땅

그 가난한 땅을

정복하게 하실 때도

When you make (me) conquer.

그 안에서 거주하고 있었던

who had been living inside it

칠족 속의 모든 것을

Everything of the seven clans.

멸하라 이렇게 말씀하고

"Destroy it, saying this."

계셨잖아요.

You were there.

그러니까 우리가 우리 몸에 이식되어져 있는

So what is implanted in our bodies.

세상 것들은 우리가 모두

The things of the world that we all...

멸해야 하는 거죠.

It must be eliminated.

세상 지혜까지라도 다 멸해야 하는 거예요.

We must destroy even all the wisdom of the world.

그걸 멸해야 돼요.

We need to eliminate that.

완전히 다르게

Completely differently.

하셨으니까.

Since you did it.

그렇죠?

하나님의 지혜는 세상의 지혜와

God's wisdom is not the wisdom of the world.

완전히 다르게 그렇게 되도록 하셨으니까.

You made it so completely differently.

십자가 위에서 달려 죽으심으로

By dying on the cross.

아무 말도 하지 않으셨지만

You didn't say anything, but...

십자가에 달려 죽으심으로

하고자 했던

What I wanted to do

하시고자 했던

What you wanted to do.

그 말씀이 있었다.

There was that remark.

그 말씀은 세상의 지혜

That statement is the wisdom of the world.

세상의 훌륭한 말과는 완전히 다르다.

It is completely different from the great words of the world.

그러니까 우리가

So we are

우리 몸에 덕지덕지 붙어있던

stuck all over our bodies

그 세상의 지혜에

To the wisdom of that world.

세상의 가르침들은 모두

All the teachings of the world are

멸해야 하죠.

It must be destroyed.

칠족 속의 모든 것들은

Everything of the seven clans.

멸해야 한다는 거죠.

It means that it must be eliminated.

그리스도 나라에 살고 있다라고 하는 우리들은

We, who say that we live in the kingdom of Christ,

가난한 땅에 거주하고 있는

Residing in a poor land

영적인 가난한 땅에 거주하고 있는 우리들은

We, who reside in a spiritually impoverished land,

그 세상의 모든 것들을

All things in that world

말하고 있는 그 칠족 속의

The tribe that is speaking

모든 것들을 다

Everything.

멸해버려야 하는 거죠.

It must be destroyed.

이것이 로마서 신약시대에서는

This is in the book of Romans in the New Testament.

이 세대를 본받지 마라.

Do not imitate this generation.

이렇게 말씀하신 거거든요.

이 지혜를 아는 사람이 하나도 없습니다.

영광의 주님을 십자가에

못 박지는 않았을 것입니다.

It probably wasn't nailed down.

여러분들

Everyone

세상 지혜에 함몰되어져

Lost in the wisdom of the world.

그대로

Just as it is.

세상 지혜대로 살아감으로

By living according to the wisdom of the world.

여러분들도 손으로

You all too, with your hands.

예수 그리스도를 십자가에

Jesus Christ on the cross

다시 못 박는 어리석음을

The foolishness of hammering again.

범하지 않는 그와 같은

Like him, who does not transgress.

삶을 사시기를 바랍니다.

I hope you live your life.

그리고 온전히 하늘의 지혜 즉 성령의

And the complete wisdom of heaven, that is, the Holy Spirit.

능력이 나타나는

Abilities emerge.

그 증거 즉 다시 말씀을 드려서

That evidence, in other words, to put it again

예수 그리스도가 나무에 달려

Jesus Christ was hung on a tree.

죽어서 말씀하시고자 했던

그 십자가의 도

The way of the cross.

그렇죠.

그 십자가의 도 즉 다시 말씀을 드려서

The way of the cross, in other words, to put it again.

죽어서 다시 사는

Dying and coming back to life.

하늘의 비밀 그 섭리

The secret of the sky, its providence.

그 섭리를 잘 깨우고

Awakening to that providence well.

깨달아 실천해 나가는

Realizing and putting it into practice.

사는 비밀이 하나님
