네. 제대로 역할을 하지 못해서 그렇지 두 개나 있어요. 무려 두 개나 있습니다.

이미 존재하고 씨름 연맹이 두 개나 있다.

그러니까 세계 씨름 연맹 같은 경우에 WSF 같은 경우에 지난 2008년에 한국 씨름의 매력에 빠진 29개 나라의 씨름 대표들이 만장일치로 연맹을 창설하기로 결의해서

In the case of the World Ssirum Federation (WSF), in 2008, representatives from 29 countries who were captivated by the charm of Korean ssirum unanimously decided to establish the federation.

세계 씨름 연맹을 창설했고 사단법인 설립 인가까지 받고 해운국 수도 48개국까지 늘렸어요.

We established the World Wrestling Federation, received approval for the establishment of a nonprofit organization, and expanded to 48 countries in the maritime capital.

48개국 끊기면 제법 많은데요.

It's quite a lot if you cut off 48 countries.

그렇죠. 그리고 이 세계 씨름 연맹은 출범 당시에 목표를 내건 게 있습니다.

That's right. And the World Wrestling Federation set a goal when it was established.

그 대표적인 게.

The representative example is.

2년 주기로 월드컵 대회를 열겠다.

I will hold the World Cup every two years.

국제대회.

International competition.

씨름 월드컵 대회를 열겠다.

I will hold a wrestling World Cup tournament.

그리고 세계선수권대회 대륙선수권대회를 개최하겠다.

And we will hold the continental championships for the world championship.

이런 목표를 제시했습니다.

I have presented such a goal.

그를 통해서 또 향후에는 국제경기연맹 총연합회에 가입하고 유니버시아드 아시안게임 나아가서는 올림픽에서까지 씨름이 정식 종목으로 채택되는 것을 목표로 뛰겠다.

Through him, I aim to join the International Federation of Sports and strive for wrestling to be officially adopted as a sport in the Universiade, Asian Games, and ultimately the Olympics.

이런 굉장히 야심찬 포부를 밝혔어요.

일단 로드맵은 아주 화려하고 좋은데요.

하지만 지난 2016년부터 제대로 된 활동을 하지 않으면서 지금은 이름만 있는 유명무신한 단체로 전락해 있는 상태입니다.

However, since 2016, it has not been engaged in proper activities and has now fallen into a state of being a famous but hollow organization.

그래서 폴보이가 세계씨름연맹을 모르는 거예요.

어쨌든 2016년 이후부터 세계씨름연맹이 wsf가 유명무신한 단체로 전락하니까 2019년 9월에 또 다른 국제기구를 목표로 한 국제씨름연맹.

Anyway, since 2016, the World Wrestling Federation has fallen into obscurity, so in September 2019, the International Wrestling Federation was established with the goal of becoming another international organization.

인터내셔널 씨름 페더레이션 isf가 창립총회를 개최하면서 국제씨름연맹을 설립합니다.

The International Ssirum Federation (ISF) is establishing the International Ssirum Association by holding its inaugural general meeting.

그러면서 이제 우리나라의 씨름을 주관하는 국제단체가 국제경기단체가 2개가 됩니다.

As a result, there will now be two international organizations governing wrestling in our country.

우리는 저렇게 하지 말자고 호기롭게 또 시작을 했겠죠.

We must have boldly started again, saying let's not do it that way.

하지만 이 국제씨름연맹 같은 경우에 isf 같은 경우에 우리나라 엘리트 씨름선수들을 관리하고 대회 운영 업무를 담당해왔던 해오고 있는 대한씨름협회.

However, in the case of this International Wrestling Federation, the Korea Wrestling Association has been managing our country's elite wrestling athletes and overseeing the organization of competitions.

isf가 대한씨름협회 안에 국제위원회라는 걸 만들어서 대한씨름협회 국제위원회 주도로 만들어졌거든요.

The ISF has created an International Committee within the Korea Ssireum Association, which was established under the leadership of the International Committee of the Korea Ssireum Association.

이 단체가.

This organization.

그래서 그 위상이 좀 아주 애매합니다.

So that status is quite unclear.

일단 대한씨름협회 국제위원회면 본인들의 역할과 의무가 좀 있기 때문에.

First of all, since the International Committee of the Korean Ssireum Association has certain roles and responsibilities,

그래도 만들 수는 있어요.

그렇죠.

That's right.

그런데 이게 문제는 국제씨름연맹 isf가 현재 대한씨름협회 산하단체로 소속되어 있거든요.

However, the problem is that the International Ssirum Federation (ISF) is currently affiliated with the Korean Ssirum Association.

그러니까 독립된 경기단체로 인정을 받지 못하고 있어요.

So, we are not recognized as an independent sports organization.

생각해 보세요.

육상경기연맹.

Athletics Federation.

그러니까 국제육상경기연맹이 대한육상경기연맹 산하기구라면 이상해요?

So, is it strange if the International Association of Athletics Federations is an affiliated organization of the Korea Athletics Federation?

안 이상해요.

대한 아래에 국제가 있는 거죠.

There is an international presence under the Korea.

좀 묘하긴 하네요.

물론 씨름은 우리가 종주국이고 우리가 주도화해야 된다라고 생각하면 어느 정도 이해를 할 수 있지만.

Of course, if we think that wrestling is our national sport and that we should take the lead, it is somewhat understandable.

그런데 그게 최소 수평이지 더 아래에 있는 건 조금 그렇죠.

However, that's the minimum horizontal level; it's a bit inadequate if it's lower than that.

일단 파국에서 가입하기를 조금 꺼려할 수도 있을 것 같긴 해요.

I think they might be a bit hesitant to join in the first place.

그리고 게다가 단체가 두 개가 되니까 서로 자신이 씨름의 세계화를 담당할 수 있는 주체다.

And besides, since there are two organizations, each one believes it can be the entity responsible for the globalization of wrestling.

국제경기단체다.

It is an international sports organization.

이렇게 주장을 하니까 그럼 어떻게 되겠어요.

If you make such a claim, then what will happen?

좀 애매해지죠.

It becomes a bit ambiguous.

정작 씨름의 세계화는커녕 오히려 wsf isf가 서로 대립하고 갈등만 일으킵니다.

In fact, rather than the globalization of wrestling, the WSF and ISF are only confronting each other and causing conflicts.

또 경쟁하고 그래요.

They compete and such.

아니 그러니까 이렇게 뭘 좀 하려고 그러면 야 니네가 무슨 정통성이 있냐.

The K-SSIREUM Promotion Private Joint Committee is aiming to promote the globalization of ssireum.

그러니까 또 하나의 옥상옥 단체가 생긴 거예요.

So, another layer of an organization has emerged.

그냥 삼국지가 돼버렸네.

It's just become like the Three Kingdoms.

그러니까 이제 어떻게 보면 k씨름진흥민간합동위원회가 씨름의 세계화를 주도하니까

So now, in a way, the K wrestling promotion committee is leading the globalization of wrestling.

wsf나 isf는 그 밑으로 들어가야 되는 거예요.

WSF or ISF has to go underneath that.

이렇게 되는 거지.

This is how it becomes.

말 듣기가 쉽지 않겠죠.

It won't be easy to listen.

그런데 문제는 문체부가 이렇게 씨름의 세계화 그리고 씨름을 한국스포츠

그런데 비치 레슬링은 말 그대로 해변의 모래사장에서 레슬링을 펼치고

경기를 하는데 선수들이 맨발로 볼에 비해서 경기를 합니다.

The players play the game barefoot compared to the ball.

그리고 상대를 넘어뜨리거나 경기장 밖으로 밀어내면 승리하는 정말

비치 레슬링 경기 규칙 잠깐 소개해 드리면 우리 씨름을 떠올리면서

Let me briefly introduce the rules of beach wrestling, which will remind you of our traditional wrestling.

생각 한번 해보세요.

30cm 두께의 모래가 채워진 지름 6m의 원형으로 된 모래링을 만듭니다.

A circular sand ring with a diameter of 6m, filled with 30cm thick sand, will be created.

To win a beach wrestling match, you must throw your opponent to the ground.

등이 모래 바닥에 닿게 하고 3초간 그 상태를 유지하면 폴승이라고

If you touch your back to the sandy floor and hold that position for 3 seconds, that's a win.

해서 폴승을 거두게 되고.

So, he ends up achieving a pull victory.

하지만 거의 대부분의 국가에서는 이제 축구가 가장 인기 있는 스포츠죠.
