요나의 표적

1. 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되, 악하고 음란한 세대가 표적을 구하나, 선지자 요나의 표적밖에 보일 표적이 없느니라.

Jesus answered and said to them, "A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah."

2. 요나가 밤낮 사흘동안 큰 물고기 뱃속에 있었던 것 같이, 인자도 밤낮 사흘동안 땅속에 있으리라.

Just as Jonah was in the belly of a great fish for three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

3. 심판대에 니누의 사람들이 일어나 이 세대의 사람을 정지하리니, 이는 그들이 요나의 전도를 듣고 회개하였음이거니와, 요나보다 더 큰 이가 여기 있으며,

The people of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment and condemn this generation, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.

4. 심판대에 남방 요왕이 일어나 이 세대의 사람을 정지하리니, 이는 그가 솔로몬의 제의로운 말을 들으려니라.

4. The Southern King will rise at the judgment seat to condemn the people of this generation, for he will hear the righteous words of Solomon.

더러운 귀신이 사람에게서 나갔을 때에 물 없는 곳으로 다니며 쉬기를 구하되 쉴 곳을 얻지 못하고

When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it wanders through waterless places seeking rest but finds none.

이에 이르되 내가 나온 내 집으로 돌아가리라 하고 와보니 그 집이 비고 청소되고 수리되었거늘

When he came to this point, he said, "I will return to my house from which I came," and when he went back, he found that the house was empty, cleaned, and repaired.

이에 가서 저보다 더 악한 귀신 일곱을 데리고 들어가 거하니 그 사람의 나중 형편이 전보다 더욱 심하게 되느니라

Then he goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that person is worse than the first.

이 약한 세대가 또한 이렇게 되리라

This weak generation will also become like this.

예수께서 우리에게 말씀하실 때에 그의 어머니와 동생들이 예수께 말하려고 밖에 섰더니

While Jesus was speaking to us, his mother and brothers stood outside wanting to speak to him.

한 사람이 예수께 여쭤오되 보소서 당신의 어머니와 동생들이 당신께 말하려고 밖에 서 있나이다 하니

One person asked Jesus, "Look, your mother and your brothers are standing outside wanting to speak to you."

말하던 사람에게 대답하여 이르시되 누가 내 어머니이며 내 동생들이냐 하시고

He replied to the one who was speaking to him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?"

손을 내밀어 제자들을 가리켜 이르시되

He stretched out his hand and pointed to his disciples, saying

나의 어머니가 내 동생들이냐 하시고

My mother said, "Are they my siblings?"

나의 어머니와 나의 동생들을 보라

Look at my mother and my siblings.

누구든지 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 뜻대로 하는 자가 내 형제요 자매요 어머니이니라 하시더라

"For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

잠시 하나님 앞에 은혜를 구하며 기도하겠습니다

I will take a moment to pray and seek grace before God.

자비로우신 하나님 아버지 오늘도 여전히 저희들에게 은혜를 베푸심으로

Gracious God the Father, today once again You bestow Your grace upon us.

저희를 말씀이 있는 은혜의 방편이 있는 곳으로 불러주시옵소서

Please call us to the place where there is grace and the Word.

주시니 감사합니다

하나님 아버지 이 시간에도 성령을 통해서 역사하여 주실때에

We know well that we can bear many fruits that please God.

하나님 아버지 이 시간에도 말씀을 축복하여 주실때에

Heavenly Father, as you bless the word at this time...

우리의 귀가 열리고 마음 문이 열려서 우리의 신비 가운데 잘 떨어지게 하시고

May our ears be opened and our hearts be opened, so that we may fall well into our mysteries.

그래서 떨어진 그 씨가 우리 속에서 생명력 있게 자라나게 하여 주옵소서

So please allow that seed, which has fallen, to grow vigorously within us.

부족한 적 말씀을 증거하기 위해서 당했었습니다

I endured it to testify about the lack of provisions.

그러나 이 일을 감당하기에 심히 부족한 것을 알고 있사오니 불쌍히 여겨주시고

However, I am fully aware that I am severely lacking to handle this matter, so please have mercy on me.

하나님의 성령으로 함께 해주셔서 이 시간 하나님의 진리만을 잘 전하옵소서

May the Holy Spirit of God be with us, and may we convey only God's truth at this time.

이 시간을 주의 성령께 온전히 유탁하올 때에

When I completely entrust this time to the Holy Spirit.

이 모든 말씀 주 예수 그리스도 이름으로 기도하옵나이다

서계관과 바리세인 중 몇 사람이 주님께 나와서 표적을 보여달라고 요구합니다

Some of the scribes and Pharisees came to the Lord and asked Him to show them a sign.

당신이 하나님께로부터 온 표적을 우리에게 보여주십시오

Show us a sign from God.

당신이 하나님께 온 표적을 우리에게 보여주십시오

Show us the sign that you have come from God.

그리스도라고 하는 표적을 우리에게 보여주십시오라고 그렇게 요구하고 있습니다

They are demanding, "Show us a sign that you are the Christ."

우리가 38절에 그때에 라고 하는 이 시간 부사를 주목할 필요가 있습니다

We need to pay attention to the temporal adverb "at that time" in verse 38.

그들이 주님께 나와서 표적을 요구했던 그 때가 언제인지를 바로 짚어주는데요

It points out exactly when they came to the Lord and demanded a sign.

그때라고 하는 것은 바로 우리가 2주 전에 생각해 보았던 우리 주님께서

What I mean by 'that time' is exactly what our Lord, whom we considered two weeks ago, has said.

귀신 들려 그 때가 언제인지를 바로 짚어주는데요

It points out exactly when that time is when a ghost possesses you.

눈 멀고 말 못하게 된 사람을 고쳐주신 바로 그때를 말하는 것입니다

It is referring to the very moment when someone blind and mute was healed.

이미 너무나도 분명한 표적을 그들에게 보여주셨습니다

You have already shown them a target that is too clear.

주님께서 불치병에 걸려서 정말 어려운 형평 가운데 있었던 불쌍한 병자를 치료해 주셨습니다

The Lord healed a poor patient who was truly in a difficult situation due to an incurable disease.

사람들 가운데서 귀신 들려 눈 멀고 말 못하는 이 병자가

Among the people, there is a possessed man who is blind and cannot speak.

다시 회복될 것이라고 하는 것입니다

It is said that it will be restored again.

그런 소망을 가진 사람은 거의 없었을 것입니다

There would have been almost no one with such a wish.

그래서 주님께서 이 병자를 치료하시자 이 일을 목격한 수많은 사람들은 크게 놀라게 됩니다

So when the Lord healed this sick person, many people who witnessed this were greatly astonished.

그래서 바로 나사란 예수가 그리스도가 아니신가 다위세 자손이 아니신가

So is this Nazarene not Jesus, the Christ, the descendant of David?

하나님께서 보내신 메시아가 아니신가라고 이야기하기 시작했죠

They began to talk about whether he was not the Messiah sent by God.

바로 그때에 바리세인과 서기관족이

At that moment, the Pharisees and the scribes

몇 사람이 나와서 당신이 메시아라고 하는 그리스도라고 하는 표적을 우리에게 보여주십시오라고 요구했다는 사실입니다

It is a fact that some people came out and demanded that you show us a sign that you are the Messiah, the Christ.

여러분 이것은 주님께서 하나님께서 보내신 그리스도시라는 사실을 믿기 위해서 표적을 요구하는 것이 아닙니다

Everyone, this is not about asking for a sign to believe that the Lord is the Christ sent by God.

구역에도 보면 믿음이 연약한 그러한 성도들이 하나님 앞에 표적을 구하죠

In the community, you can see believers with weak faith asking God for signs.

대표적인 사람이 기도원이지 않습니까

Isn't Gideon a representative person?

그래서 양털을 가지고 시험하잖아요

So you're testing with wool, right?

이슬이 양털에만 내리게 하고 또 이슬이 양털만 내리지 않게 해달라고

Please let the dew fall only on the fleece and also not let the dew fall on anything else but the fleece.

이렇게 표적을 구하면서 정말 하나님께서 나를 보내시기를 원하시는지를 이렇게 표적을 구합니다

I seek signs in this way to truly see if God wants to send me.

하나님은 표적을 구하는 그 자체가 잘못됐다고 말씀하시는 것이 아니라

God is not saying that seeking signs itself is wrong.

바리세인과 서기관들 가운데 몇 사람의 완악한 불신앙에 대해서

About the obstinate unbelief of some of the Pharisees and scribes.

말씀하고 계시는 것입니다

You are speaking.

주님께서 표적을 보여주실 때마다 이들은 더욱 공개하면서

Whenever the Lord shows a sign, they become more public about it.

주님의 사역을 어떻게 해서든지 회방하기 위해서 악착같이 또 다른 표적을 보여주십시오

Please show another sign with great determination to obstruct the Lord’s work by any means necessary.

이거 말고 또 다른 표적은 없습니까? 라고 하면서 그렇게 주님께 다른 표적들을 요구하게 된다는 사실입니다

Isn't there any other sign besides this? This is the fact that leads us to demand other signs from the Lord.

우리가 생각해 볼 때에 주님께서 얼마나 많은 표적을 보여주셨습니까

How many signs has the Lord shown us when we consider it?

내가 하나님 아버지의 보냄을 받은 메시아다 그리스도다라고 하는 사실을 증거하는 많은 표적을 보여주셨는데요

He has shown many signs that testify to the fact that I am the Messiah sent by God the Father, the Christ.

마태복음 12장만 해도 초기에 보면

Even in the early parts of Matthew chapter 12...

손 마른 사람을 치료해 주셨고 또 귀신 들려 앞을 못 보고 말 못하는 병자를 고쳐주십니다

He heals the person with dry hands and also cures the patient who is possessed and cannot see or speak.

8장에 보면 말씀으로

In chapter 8, it says with the word.

그리고 9장에 보면

And in chapter 9, it says...

그리고 9장 마지막에 보면

And if you look at the end of chapter 9,

죽은 아이를 살려주셨죠

You brought the dead child back to life.

여기에다 어떤 다른 표적들을 더할 것이 있겠습니까?

What other targets should be added here?

어떤 표적이어야 하는 것입니까?

What kind of target should it be?

정말 우리가 이 마태복음 12장 본문 말씀을 읽어보면

If we really look at the text of Matthew chapter 12...

마음이 정말 답답해지는 것을 경험하게 됩니다

You will truly experience a feeling of frustration.

그럼 도대체 어떤 표적이면 믿겠다는 건가?

Then what kind of target would make you believe?

하늘에서 별이 떨어져서 유대 땅이 그냥 다 불바다가 되면

If stars fall from the sky and the land of Judea turns entirely into a sea of fire,

그제서야 당신이 그리스도입니다 라고 인정할 것인가?

Will you then acknowledge that you are the Christ?

별악이 떨어져서

A star fell.

이 사람들이 맞아 죽어야

These people deserve to be beaten to death.

아 정말 하나님이 보내신 선지자구나

Oh, you are truly a prophet sent by God.

그것을 인정할 것인가?

Will you admit it?

어떤 다른 표적을 원하는 것인가?

What other targets do you want?

아무리 생각해봐도 이 사람들의 요구를 이해할 수 없어 보입니다

No matter how much I think about it, I can't seem to understand the demands of these people.

여러분 우리는 이 본문을 통해서요

Everyone, through this text, we...

불신앙이 얼마나 불합리한 것인가를 깨달아야 합니다

You need to realize how unreasonable disbelief is.

많이 공부하고 지식이 많으면

If you study a lot and have a lot of knowledge,

불신앙을 갖게 된다고 생각하지만 그렇지 않습니다.

I think it leads to disbelief, but it does not.

물리적으로 불신앙이 얼마나 불합리하고 얼마나 끈질기고 얼마나 무섭고 심각한 죄인지를

How physically unreasonable, persistent, terrifying, and serious disbelief is.

우리는 본문을 통해서 분명하게 깨달아야 하는 것입니다.

We need to clearly realize this through the text.

사람들이 예수를 믿지 못하는 것은 오늘날 표적을 보지 못했기 때문이 아닙니다.

The reason people cannot believe in Jesus is not that they do not see signs today.

그 마음이 죄로 말미암하여 깊이 병들어 있기 때문에 사람들이 예수 그리스도를 믿지 못하는 것입니다.

Because their hearts are deeply ill due to sin, people are unable to believe in Jesus Christ.

여기에 대해서 우리 주님께서 아주 단호하게 말씀하시는데요.

The Lord speaks very firmly about this.

39절 말씀을 보십시오.

Look at verse 39.

예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 악하고 음란한 세대가 표적을 구하나 선지자 유나의 표적밖에 보일 표적이 없느니라.

Jesus answered and said to them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah."

이 표적을 구하는 자들을 향해서 악하고 음란하다 그렇게 말씀하십니다.

He says that those who seek this target are wicked and immoral.

여기 악하다라고 하는 이 말씀은 그 사람들의 마음의 상태가 악하다는 말씀입니다.

The statement referred to as "evil" here means that the state of those people's hearts is evil.

이 사람들이 악하기 때문에 하나의 표적 그 다음의 표적 그 다음의 표적을 계속해서 보여주지만

Because these people are evil, they continue to show one sign after another.

그것으로 만족하지 못하고 끝까지 다른 표적을 구하게 된다.

They are not satisfied with that and continue to seek another target until the end.

그 사람들의 마음의 상태가 악하다.

Their state of mind is bad.

그렇게 진단하시는 것이고요.

That is how you are diagnosing it.

음란하다 음란한 세대다라고 말씀하시는 것은 그 세대가 주님께서 사역하셨던 그 세대가 하나님 앞에 신실하지 못하다.

It is said that it is an immoral and corrupt generation, which means that the generation in which the Lord ministered was not faithful before God.

하나님을 신실하게 섬기지 못하는 세대다라고 그렇게 평가하시는 말씀인 것입니다.

It is a statement that evaluates the generation as one that cannot faithfully serve God.

그러면서 불신함 가운데 있는 그래서 예수 그리스도께서 하나님이 보내신 메시야라고 하는 사실을

In the midst of distrust, the fact that Jesus Christ is the Messiah sent by God.

믿지 못하는 세대를 향하여 마지막으로 보여주실 표적은 요나의 표적뿐이라고 그렇게 말씀하십니다.

To the generation that does not believe, He says that the only sign He will show them is the sign of Jonah.

요나의 표적이란 무엇입니까?

What is the sign of Jonah?

요나의 표적이라는 것은 선지자 요나가 하나님의 보내심을 받아서 그 당시 아수르라고 하는 가장 강한 나라의 수도 니누에 가서

The sign of Jonah refers to the prophet Jonah being sent by God to the capital of Assyria, known as Nineveh, which was the strongest nation at that time.

하나님의 명령을.

God's command.

하나님의 말씀을 전하라는 명령을 받게 되죠.

You receive the command to deliver God's Word.

그런데 요나는 그 명령이 싫었습니다.

However, Jonah disliked that command.

니누에 가서 하나님의 말씀을 전하는 것을 싫어해서 배를 타고 하나님을 피해서 도망하죠.

He doesn't want to go to Nineveh and deliver God's message, so he gets on a boat to flee from God.

그런데 하나님은 배를 타고 달아나는 선지자를 그냥 놓아두시지 아니하시고 풍랑을 만나서 그를 추적해나갔습니다.

However, God did not just let the prophet who was fleeing by ship go; instead, He pursued him with a storm.

그래서 요나가 탄 배가 전복될 위기에 직면하게 됩니다.

So the ship that Jonah is on faces the crisis of capsizing.

요나는 이 모든 일이 자기 자신의 불순종 때문이라는 것을 알게 되죠.

Jonah realizes that all of this is due to his own disobedience.

하나님이 나를 잡으시려고 풍랑을 보내셨다는 것을 알게 됩니다.

I realize that God has sent the storm to catch me.

그래서 선원들에게 자기를 바다에 빠뜨리면 풍랑이 잔잔해질 테니 나를 바다에 던지라고 이야기합니다.

So he tells the crew to throw him into the sea, saying that the storm will calm down.

선원들은 더 이상 다른 방법이 없기 때문에요.

The crew has no other options.

그렇기 때문에 요나의 말을 따라서 요나를 바닷속에 던지게 되죠.

That's why they follow Jonah's words and throw him into the sea.

그러자 풍랑이 기적고같이 잠잠해집니다.

Then the storm becomes eerily calm.

요나가 바닷물에 던져지자 하나님께서는 미리 큰 물고기를 준비하셨다가 요나를 삼키게 하시죠.

When Jonah was thrown into the sea, God had prepared a large fish in advance to swallow Jonah.

그래서 요나는 3일 밤낮을 캄캄한 물고기 뱃속에서 지내면서 그곳에서 하나님께 자신의 죄를 깨달고,

So Jonah spent three days and nights in the dark belly of the fish, realizing his sins before God there,

세게 하며 자비를 구하게 됩니다.

They will plead for mercy while being strong.

하나님께서는 요나가 물고기 뱃속에서 들이는 그 기도를 들으시고 물고기로 하여금 다시 요나를 육지에 토해놓으라 그렇게 명령을 하십니다.

God heard the prayer that Jonah was offering from the belly of the fish and commanded the fish to vomit Jonah onto dry land.

그래서 거의 지옥에까지 내려갔던 요나가 다시 생명을 얻게 되고 그 길로 니누에 가서 하나님의 말씀을,

So Jonah, who had almost descended into hell, received life again and went to Nineveh to deliver God's message.

전했는데 웬일인지 니누의 백성들이 요나의 설교를 듣고 회개하게 되었다라고 하는 사실이 바로 요나의 표적인 것이죠.

I delivered it, yet for some reason, the people of Nineveh repented upon hearing Jonah's sermon, which is precisely the sign of Jonah.

우리 주님께서 이 요나의 표적을 말씀하시는 것은요.

The reason our Lord speaks of this sign of Jonah is.

이제 마지막으로 불신앙 가운데 거하는 사람들을 위해서 주님께서 보여주시는 그 표적은 요나와 같이 우리 주님께서도 십자가에 달리신,

Now finally, the sign that the Lord shows for those who dwell in disbelief is like Jonah; our Lord was also crucified.

십자가에 달리셔서 대속에 피를 끌리시고 죽으셨다가 3일 만에 다시 살아나셔서 부활하실 것이다.

He will be crucified, shed His blood for atonement, die, and on the third day rise again.

예수 그리스의 십자가의 죽으심과 부활, 그것이 불신앙의 세대를 향해서 보여주시는 마지막 표적이 될 것이다 라고 그렇게 말씀하고 계신 것입니다.

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the cross will be the final sign shown to this generation of unbelievers.

자, 이 이야기 바로 뒤에 보면 이제 30, 43절 말씀인데요.

Now, if you look right after this story, you will find verses 30 and 43.

이제 43절에 보면 더러운 귀신 이야기가 나옵니다.

Now, in verse 43, the story of the unclean spirits is mentioned.

그래서 하나의 스토리로 이어지기가 조금 어려운 본문이 아닌가 그렇게 생각하실 수 있는데요.

So you might think that it's a bit difficult to connect everything into a single story.

우리가 이 구절들을 깊이 묵상해 보면 하나의 그런 연결고리가 있다는 것을 알게 됩니다.

When we deeply meditate on these verses, we realize that there is a connection.

귀신이 나갔다가 다시 돌아온 이 비유는 사람의 영혼의 상태를 묘사하는 그런 말씀입니다.

The parable of the spirit going out and then returning describes the state of a person's soul.

이게 더러운 귀신이라고 이렇게 43절에 기록되어 있는데 귀신 그러면 한국적인 정서에 보면 죽은 자의 영혼이라고 이렇게 사람들이 많이 생각하는데

It is recorded in verse 43 that this is a dirty ghost, and when people think of ghosts in the context of Korean sentiment, they often consider them to be the souls of the dead.

그것은요.

That is it.

이것은 사탄이 우리를 속이는 것이고요. 죽은 자의 영혼이 아니라 악한 영을 말하는 것입니다. 그런데 이 악한 자의 영혼이, 악한 영이 성령의 역사로 말미암아서 사람들에게 쫓겨난다는 것을 말씀하고 있습니다.

This is the deception of Satan concerning us. It refers not to the souls of the dead but to evil spirits. However, it is said that the soul of this evil being, the evil spirit, is cast out from people by the workings of the Holy Spirit.

44절에 보면요.

In verse 44, it says.

많은 사람들이 죄악된 습관들을 끊어버리려고 그렇게 노력하는데 완전히 끊어버리지 못하게 되는 것을 우리가 봅니다. 사실상 영화나 소설 같은 데 보면 사람이 개심을 하고 어떤 깨달음을 얻게 돼서 새 사람이 되었다라고 하는 그런 스토리들이 있잖아요.

Many people try so hard to break their sinful habits, but we see that they are unable to completely eradicate them. In fact, in movies or novels, there are stories where a person experiences a change of heart and gains some enlightenment, becoming a new person.

그런데 현실에서는 그것이 불가능한 것입니다.

However, in reality, it is impossible.

사람은 절대로 스스로의,

A person can never truly rely on themselves.

개심을 통해서 새 사람이 되지 못합니다.

One cannot become a new person through repentance.

왜 그렇습니까?

Why is that?

악한 영의

Of the evil spirit

영향력 때문에 그러한 것입니다.

It is because of influence.

어떤 사람이 죄악된 일을 반복해서

A person repeatedly commits sinful acts.

죄악된 습관을 갖게 되면

When you develop sinful habits.

그것은 마치

It is like

길을 잘 닦아 놓은 고속도로와 같은 것입니다.

It's like a well-paved highway.

그래서

So

평상시에는 잘 모르는데

I usually don't know much about it.

이제 내가 더 이상

Now I can no longer

그와 같은 죄악된 일을

Such sinful acts.

해야 될 것입니다.

It should be done.

행하지 않을 거야

I won't do it.

라고 생각하는데

I think so.

악한 영의 충동을 하면

If you are influenced by an evil spirit,

아무리 결심하고 다짐을 한다 할지라도

No matter how much I make resolutions and promises.

너무나 쉽게

Too easily.

닦여진 그 고속도로를 통해서

Through the paved highway

예전의 상태로

Back to the old state.

되돌아가게 된다는 사실입니다.

It is a fact that we will go back.

복음을 통해서 성령께서 하시는 일은 무엇입니까?

What is the work of the Holy Spirit through the gospel?

사람들에게서

From people

사람의 마음을 지배하고 있는

Dominating the hearts of people.

약한 영을 쫓아내시는 것입니다.

It is driving out weak spirits.

복음이 전파되면

When the gospel is proclaimed

하나님의 성령의 강력한

Powerful Spirit of God

능력에 의해서

Based on ability

악한 영들이 사람에게서 쫓겨납니다.

Evil spirits are cast out from people.

그래서 그 영혼이

So that soul.

어둠에서 빛으로 옮겨지고

Moved from darkness to light.

또한 죄에서 고룩함으로

Also from sin to holiness

또 사탄의 권세에서

From the power of Satan again

성령께서 말씀하시는

그 길로 나아가며 살아가는 것입니다.

그러한 크리스찬은 존재할 수가 없습니다.

Such Christians cannot exist.

왜냐하면

Because

성경이야말로 하나님의

The Bible is truly God's.

음성을 듣는 그러한 방탄소년단의

형편이 되기 때문에 그런 것입니다.

우리가 성경을 읽으면

When we read the Bible

성경을 기록한 어떤 사람의 생각을 깨닫는 것이 아니라

성경을 기록해 하신

The one who had the Bible recorded.

하나님의 음성을 듣게 되는 것입니다.

You will hear the voice of God.

그래서 날마다 우리가

이제 성령을 따라서

그런데 많은 그런 크리스찬들이

성령을 따라서 살아가는 그 삶을 포기해 버립니다.

시작도 안 해버리고

그래서

복음의 역사로 말미암아서

마음이 깨끗해지고 수리된 그 상태를

The state of the heart being purified and restored.

텅 빈 채로 이렇게 내버려 둔다는 것입니다.

그런데 우리가 힘들고

But we are having a hard time.

또 때로는 많은 노력을 하고 있는 것입니다.

그런데 우리가 힘들고 또 때로는 많은 노력을 하고 있는 것입니다.

그런 노력과 헌신을 필요로 하지만

지속적으로 해 나가게 된다면

그리고 결국에는 이제

영적인 능력을 체험하는

성령을 따라 살아가는 삶을

A life that walks according to the Holy Spirit.

즐기게 된다는 사실입니다.

성령을 따라서 행하게 되면

우리는 점점 더 하나님의 말씀과 진리를

We are increasingly embracing God's word and truth.

더 깊이 깨닫게 되고요.

그래서 그 말씀과 진리를 깨닫게 되는 것입니다.

So you come to understand that word and truth.

진리를 통해서 참된 자유함과 기쁨을 누리게 되는 것입니다. 우리가 점점 나이가 들수록 삶에 낙이 없다 즐거움이 없다 그렇게 생각하시잖아요. 그렇지 않겠습니까? 몸이 아프고 몸을 잘 가누지도 못하는데 많은 부기가 무슨 소용이 있으며 또한 권력이 있다고 해서 그것이 무슨 위로가 되겠습니까?

Through truth, one experiences true freedom and joy. As we grow older, we often think that life lacks delight and enjoyment, don’t we? Isn’t that right? When the body is sick and cannot even manage itself well, what use is there in wealth, and what comfort does power provide?

그런데 우리가 놓치지 말아야 하는 것은 그러한 때에도 성령께서 주시는 참된 자유함과 기쁨이 있다는 것이죠.

However, what we must not overlook is that even in such times, there is true freedom and joy given by the Holy Spirit.

설교자들이 자신에게 맡겨진 그 사명을 마지막 그 순간까지 감당하는 일들을 많이 보지 않습니까?

Don't we often see preachers fulfilling the mission entrusted to them until the very last moment?

자기 몸을 가누기도 힘든데 마지막 남은 힘을 다 쥐어짜서 하나님의 말씀을 전하고자 하는 것입니다.

Even while struggling to manage their own body, they are squeezing out the last bit of strength to convey God's word.

열망들이 있습니다. 왜냐하면 그 일을 행하는 데 있어서 하나님께서 기쁨과 자유함을 주시죠.

There are desires. Because God gives joy and freedom in carrying out that work.

또는 우리가 언젠가는 이 세상을 떠나가야 합니다. 우리는 다 죽음의 침상에 누워야 합니다.

Or we must leave this world someday. We all have to lie on the deathbed.

그때에 우리에게 무슨 위로가 있겠습니까? 무슨 소망이 있습니까? 우리가 성령을 따라서 행했다면 그때에 우리는 많은 그런 위로들을 받게 될 것입니다.

At that time, what comfort do we have? What hope do we have? If we had acted according to the Holy Spirit, then we would have received many such comforts.

이제 내가 성령을 따라서 하나님과 동행하며 살아왔는데 내가 그토록 동행하며 살아왔던 그 하나님을 더 가까이에서 볼 수 있겠구나라고 하는 그런 소망이 생기지 않겠습니까?

Now that I have lived my life walking with God according to the Holy Spirit, don't you think a hope arises that I will be able to see that God, whom I have walked with so closely, even more closely?

윌리포스 2장 13절에 보시면 이런 말씀이 있습니다.

In Philippians 2:13, it says the following.

너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님이시니 자기의 기쁘신 뜻을 위하여 너에게 소원을 두고 행하게 하시나니.

For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님이시니 우리 안에서 하나님이 행하신다는 것을 우리가 확신할 수만 있다면 다른 누가 설득하는 것이 아니라

The one who works within you is God, so if we can be assured that God is working within us, it is not someone else who persuades us.

여러분 스스로가 날마다 하나님 음성을 듣기를 원해서 성경을 펼치고 기도하며 그렇게 살아왔는데 어느 순간에 하나님께서 이제 그것을 깨닫게 하시는 것이죠.

You have been opening the Bible and praying, wanting to hear God's voice every day, and at some point, God makes you realize that.

너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님이시니.

He who is at work in you is God.

그 어떠한 것으로도 흔들 수 없는 기쁨과 확신의 근원이 되는 것입니다.

It becomes the source of joy and confidence that cannot be shaken by anything.

하나님이 내 안에서 행하시는구나. 내가 하나님 안에 하나님이 내 안에 계시는구나라고 하는 이 사실을 우리가 생각하게 되면 세상에 그 어떤 것을 소유한 것보다도 즐겁게 될 것이고 확신하게 될 것이고 기뻐하게 될 것입니다.

God is acting within me. When we consider the fact that I am in God and God is in me, we will find more joy, assurance, and delight than in possessing anything else in the world.

여러분 그 영혼의 상태를 우리는 경험하며 살아야 합니다.

아 내가 오늘 너무 아팠다.

내가 너무 아파갖고 오늘 읽어야 될 성경을 읽지 못해서 내가 너무 마음이 아프다.

I am in so much pain that I couldn't read the Bible I was supposed to read today, and it makes me very heartbroken.

내가 그냥 잠을 자기엔 너무 아깝다.

It's too precious for me to just sleep.

나는 그런 안타까운 마음이 있어야 한다는 것입니다.

I must have such a heartfelt sentiment.

그것은요 마지막 죽음의 침상에 있는 그런 사람들의 그런 상태를 보면 두려움과 공포와 어찌할 수 없어 하는 그 누구도 도와줄 수 없는 그러한 불안감에 시달리면서

It is when you see those people in their final deathbed state, suffering from fear and terror, in a helplessness that no one can help them, enduring such anxiety.

인생의 마지막을 보내는 사람과 기쁨과 기대와 소망과 확신에 차서 하나님을 찬송하며 이 세상을 떠나가는 그 사람의 차이는 정말 하늘과 땅만큼의 차이가 있다고 그렇게 우리는 생각해 볼 수 있을 것입니다.

We can think that there is truly a difference as vast as heaven and earth between a person who is spending the last moments of their life and a person who leaves this world filled with joy, anticipation, hope, and certainty while praising God.

그런데 우리가 복음을 통해서 성령의 역사를 경험했습니다.

However, we experienced the work of the Holy Spirit through the gospel.

우리 마음을 지배하고 있는 악한 영을 성령의 능력으로 쫓아내 주셨습니다.

He has cast out the evil spirit that is ruling our hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit.

그런데 우리가 그 깨끗하고 수리된 그 마음에 하나님을 우리 마음의 주인으로 모시지 않는다면 어떠한 일이 벌어지는 것입니까?

But what happens if we do not welcome God as the Lord of our hearts in that clean and restored heart?

사탄은 텅 비고 수리된 그 마음이 자신의 거처라고 생각해서 모깃감으로 생각해서 다시 우리의 마음을 차지하기 위해서 사력을 다하게 될 것이라고 우리 주님이 말씀하시는 거예요.

Satan thinks that the empty and repaired heart is his dwelling and considers it as a target to occupy our hearts again, and our Lord is telling us that he will do everything in his power to achieve this.

그래서 결국 어떻게 됩니까?

So what happened in the end?

결국 나중에 상태가 이전보다 더 훨씬 심각하게 된다고 말씀하고 있는 것입니다.

In the end, it is stating that the condition becomes much more serious than before.

왜냐하면 사탄은 우리의 마음이 비고 수리되었는데 그곳에 하나님이 주인으로 계시지 않으면 이건 내 집인데 라고 생각하고 반드시 거기에 들어가서 그 전보다 더 많은 악한 영을 몰고 와서 거하게 될 것이라고 말하기 때문에 그러한 것입니다.

Because Satan knows that when our hearts are empty and repaired, if God is not the owner there, he will think, "This is my house," and will surely come in, bringing even more evil spirits to dwell there than before.

그래서 우리는 우리의 마음에 하나님을 날마다 주인으로 모시고 성령을 따라서 행하고 있는가를 돌아보아야 합니다.

Therefore, we must reflect on whether we are making God the owner of our hearts every day and walking according to the Holy Spirit.

우리가 이제 마지막으로 49절부터 50절까지의 말씀을 생각해 보려고 하는데요.

Now we are going to think about the words from verses 49 to 50 for the last time.

사실 이 말씀도 달락달락 나누어져 있는 그래서 서로 연결고리가 없는 것입니다.

In fact, these words are also divided into sections, so there are no connections between them.

이런 것처럼 생각되지만은 결국 그 전달락과 연결되는 그런 고리들이 있습니다.

It may seem like this, but ultimately there are connections that link to that transmission loss.

49절부터 50절까지를 보면요. 주님께서 유대 백성들에게 천국 복음을 전파하실 때 주님의 어머니와 동생들이 찾아옵니다.

In verses 49 to 50, we see that when the Lord was proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom to the Jewish people, His mother and brothers came to visit Him.

아마도 바리새인들이 퍼뜨린 소문 때문에 그러했을 것이라고 추측할 수 있습니다.

It can be speculated that this might be due to rumors spread by the Pharisees.

나사렛 예수가 귀신의 왕 바할세부를 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아낸다라고 하는 그런 소식을 듣고 염려가 되어서 찾아왔을 것을 우리가 추측할 수 있습니다.

We can speculate that they came out of concern after hearing the news that Jesus of Nazareth drove out demons by the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons.

본문에는 어떠한 이유 때문에 찾아왔는지 그 이유는 밝히고 있지 않기 때문에 아마 그러한 이유지 않을까 우리가 추측을 해봅니다.

The text does not specify the reason for the visit, so we can only speculate that it might be for such reasons.

이 소식을 들으신 주님께서 이렇게 반문하십니다.

Upon hearing this news, the Lord asks in response.

48절인데요.

It's verse 48.

누가 내 어머니며 내 동생들이냐. 손을 내밀어 제자들을 가리켜 이르시되 나의 어머니와 나의 동생들을 보라.

Who are my mother and my brothers? And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers."

누가 내 어머니며 내 동생들이냐라고 그렇게 반문하셨다는 것이죠.

"Who asked, 'Who are my mother and my siblings?'"

이 말씀은요.

This saying is...

주님의 가족관계는 혈육으로 맺어지는 것이 아니다.

The Lord's family relationship is not established by blood.

자, 하나님의 가족이 되는 것은 혈육으로 맺어지는 것이 아니다라고 말씀하시는 것이고 오직 믿음으로만 되는 것임을 말씀해 주시는 것입니다.

Well, it is saying that becoming a family of God is not established through blood ties, but is only possible through faith.

주님에게는 새로운 가족들이 있다고 말씀하십니다.

He says that there are new families in the Lord.

그들이 누굽니까?

Who are they?

복음을 듣고 주 예수 그리스도를 믿어 하나님을 섬기게 된 자들이 진정한 하나님의 가족들이라고 그렇게 말씀하고 있는 것이죠.

Those who have heard the gospel, believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, and serve God are truly the family of God.

주님께서 새로운 가족을 부르시는 호칭을 보면요.

When you see the titles that the Lord calls the new family...

형제, 누이, 모친이라는 매우 사랑스럽고 친밀한 표현을 사용하십니다.

He uses very loving and intimate expressions such as brother, sister, and mother.

내 형제, 누이, 모친.

My brother, sister, mother.

그래서 세상에서 아무리 공필팜 가운데 있다 할지라도

So, no matter how much one may be in the middle of a busy world

크리스찬은 그리스의 형제입니다.

Christian is a brother of Greece.

그리스의 형제입니다.

He is a brother from Greece.

그리스의 형제고 누이고 모친인 것이죠.

She is the sister and mother of the Greek.

그래서 하나님을 잘 섬기는 하나님의 사람들, 그 사람들은 하나님의 친밀한 가족이라고 하는 사실을 우리가 알게 됩니다.

So we come to understand that those who serve God well are God's intimate family.

이들은 공통적인 특징이 있는데요.

They have a common characteristic.

이들 모두 어떻습니까?

하나님 아버지의 뜻을 잘 알 뿐만 아니라 그것을 행하는 사람들이라고 말씀하고 있어요.

그런데 누가 하나님의 가족들인가?

Those who live according to the Holy Spirit are truly the family of God.

바다의 풍랑을 일으켜서,

By stirring up the waves of the sea,

요나를 추격하시는 하나님,

God, who chases after Jonah,

또 물고기 뱃속에서도,

Even inside the fish's belly,

요나를 사흘동안이나,

For three days and nights, Jonah...

살아나게 하신 하나님이시라면,

If He is the God who brings the dead to life,

능히 자신들을,

They can certainly themselves,

죽이기도 하시고,

You sometimes kill, and...

살리기도 하시는,

"Who also saves,"

전능하신 하나님이 아니시겠는가?

Isn't He the Almighty God?

그들은 그렇게 확신하며,

They are so convinced that,

요나의 짧은 설교를 듣고서도,

Even after hearing Jonah's short sermon,

회개하며,

Repenting,

하나님 앞에 순종하며 나아갔다는 것입니다.

It means that I have gone forward in obedience to God.

시간 관계상,

Due to time constraints,

구체적인 본문에 나와있는 이야기들을 다,

All the stories mentioned in the specific text,

설명드리진 않지만,

I won't explain, but...

어떤 사람들은,

Some people,

요나의 회개는 형식적인 것이었지,

Jonah's repentance was merely formal.

진정한 것이 아니었어라고,

It wasn't real.

생각하시는 분도 있어요.

Some people think that way.

그런데, 우리 주님께서 하시는 말씀을 잘 보시면요,

However, if you closely examine what our Lord is saying,

41절에 보면,

In verse 41,

심판대에,

On the judgment stand,

니누의 사람들이 일어나,

The people of Ninuw rise.

이 세대의 사람을 정죄하리라.

I will condemn the people of this generation.

그들의 회개가,

Their repentance,

일시적이고,

Temporary,

피상적인 것이었다면,

If it was superficial,

심판대에 일어나서,

Stand up at the judges' table,

이 세대의 사람들을 정죄합니까?

Are you judging people of this generation?

그 말은,

That means,

마지막 심판대의 성도들이,

The saints of the final judgment,

세상을 판단할 것이라고 말씀하셨잖아요.

You said that you would judge the world.

그 성도라고 하는,

That so-called saint,

그 무리 안에,

Among that group,

니누의 사람들이 들어 있다는,

The people of Ninu are inside.

예수님의,

Jesus'

그런 말씀인 것이죠.

That's what you mean, right?

그들의 회개는,

Their repentance is,

진실된 회개였다라고,

It was a true repentance.

예수님께서 확증해 주시는 거예요.

It is confirmed by Jesus.

이와 마찬가지로요,

Similarly,

우리 주님의,

Our Lord's,

십자가와 부활이 왜,

Why the cross and resurrection?

불신앙의 세대에 주시는,

To the generation of unbelief,

마지막 표적인가?

Is this the final target?

하나님께서 범죄와 놀이를,

God forbids sin and play.

여전히 사랑하셔서,

Because you still love me,

그 사랑하시는 독생자를,

His beloved only Son,

이 땅에 보내셔서,

Sent to this land,

우리 죄에 대한,

For our sins,

화목제물로 사무실 정도로,

As an offering for harmony, to the extent of an office,

우리를 사랑하셨다면,

If you loved us,

그리고,

And,

죽으셨다가 3일 만에,

After three days of being dead,

다시 부활하게 하셨다면,

If you have brought me back to life,

이것이야말로,

This is it,

하나님의 사랑과,

God's love and,

극률과,

Compassion,

자비에 대한,

About mercy,

가장 명백한 표적이 아니고,

It is not the most obvious target,

무엇이겠는가 하는 것입니다.

What could it be?

하나님의 사랑을,

God's love,

그 어떤 것으로 증명할 수 있습니까?

How can it be proven with anything?

우주에 무슨,

What in the universe,

천체의 어떤,

Some of the celestial bodies,

변화가 일어나고,

Change is happening,

또,

Also,

화려하고,

Colorful,

또 웅장한 그런,

Also that magnificent one,

역사들을 일으킬 수 있지만은,

It can raise historical issues, but...

그것이 하나님의 사랑을 증명합니까?

Does that prove God's love?

하나님의 사랑과,

God's love and,

극률과,

Compassion and,

자비에 대한,

Regarding mercy,

가장 확실하고,

The most certain,

분명한 표적은,

The clear target is,

하나님께서,

God.

우리를 위해서,

For us,

그 아들 예수 그리스도를,

That son, Jesus Christ,

이 땅에 보내셨다는 사실이죠.

It is the fact that you were sent to this land.

우리의 죄를 담당하게 하시려고,

To bear our sins,

그렇게 하셨다는 것입니다.

That is what you did.

하나님께서,

God,

자신의 사랑하시는 독생자를,

His beloved only Son,

우리를 위해서 아끼지 아니하시고,

He does not spare for us,

이 세상에 보내셨다면,

If you have sent me to this world,

하나님의 사랑에 대한,

About God's love,

또 다른 증거가 필요한가?

Do you need more evidence?

하는 것입니다.

It is doing.

어떤 증거가 또 필요한가?

What other evidence is needed?

어떤 표적이 또 우리에게 필요한가라고,

What other targets do we need?

우리는,

We are,

반문할 수 밖에 없다는 사실입니다.

It is a fact that I have no choice but to question it.

그래서,

So,

예수 그리스의 십자가와,

The cross of Jesus Christ,

부활을 보면서도,

Even while seeing the resurrection,

여전히 하나님 아버지의 사랑과,

Still the love of God the Father,

자비와 극률에 대해서,

About mercy and compassion,

의심하고 있는 사람이 있다면,

If there is someone you are suspicious of,

그 사람에게 보여줄,

To show that person,

또 다른 표적은 존재하지 않는다는 것입니다.

It means that there are no other targets.

하나님의 사랑에 대해서,

About God's love,

자비와 극률에 대해서,

About mercy and compassion,

의심하고 있는가? 예수 그리스의 십자가를,

Are you in doubt? The cross of Jesus Christ,

바라보라고 말씀합니다.

He tells me to look.

이것이야말로,

This is it,

가장 명백한,

The most obvious,

하나님이,

God,

우리를 사랑하신다는,

That you love us,

명백한 표적이라는 것입니다.

It means a clear target.

두 가지 적용의 말씀을 드리고,

I would like to mention two applications.

오늘 설교를 마치겠습니다.

I will conclude the sermon today.

첫 번째는요,

The first one is,

우리는 그리스의 십자가와 부활을 통해서,

Through the cross and resurrection of Greece,

하나님의 사랑과,

The love of God,

자비와 극률에 대해서,

About mercy and compassion,

분명하게 확신하고 있습니까?

Are you quite sure?

어리석게도,

Foolishly,

또 다른 표적을,

Another target,

구하고 있지는 않습니까?

Aren't you looking for it?

오늘,

Today,

마태봉 12장에 나와 있는,

It is found in Matthew chapter 12.

바리새인들과 서기관 중 몇 사람들이,

Some of the Pharisees and scribes,

또 다른 표적을 구하는 것이,

Searching for another target,

얼마나 혐오스러운,

How disgusting,

그런 모습입니까?

Is that how you look?

이해할 수 없는,

Incomprehensible,

불합리한 그런 요구이지 않습니까?

Isn't that an unreasonable demand?

혹시 우리는,

Perhaps we,

또 다른 표적을 보여달라고,

Please show me another target.

하나님 앞에 구하고 있지는 않습니까?

Aren't you asking God for it?

두 번째는요,

The second is,

하나님의 사랑과,

God's love and,

우리의 마음을 주인으로 모시고,

Serving our hearts as masters,

성령을 따라서 살아가고 있습니까?

Are you living according to the Holy Spirit?

복음을 통해서,

Through the gospel,

성령의 역사로 말미암아,

By the work of the Holy Spirit,

우리의 마음의 악한 영을,

The evil spirit of our hearts,

쫓아내 주셨습니다.

I have been chased away.

만일,

If,

우리가,

We,

하나님을 주인으로 모시고,

Making God the master,

살지 못한다면,

If I can't live,

우리는 어떻게 되는 것입니까?

What will happen to us?

이전보다도,

More than before,

더 악한 상태가 될 수 있다고,

It can become a worse situation.

말씀하십니다.

You are speaking.

하나님을 여러분의 마음의 주인으로 모시고,

Make God the master of your heart,

살아가십시오.

Live your life.

날마다 성령을 따라 살아가십시오.

Live according to the Spirit every day.

만일 그렇게 행하고 계신다면,

If you are doing it that way,

여러분들이야말로,

It is you all who,

진정한,

genuine,

하나님의 가장 가까운 가족들이십니다.

You are God's closest family.

같이 기도하시겠습니다.

Let's pray together.

또한,

우리 속에서 행하시는 분이,

That He is God.

우리 모두가 확신하게 될 때에,

When we all become certain,

세상이 감당할 수 없는,

Unbearable for the world,

온전한 믿음의 용사들이 되게 하여 주옵소서,

May we become warriors of complete faith.

혹여 아직까지도,

Just in case, even now,

하나님의 사랑과,

God's love and,

자비와 긍류를,

Mercy and compassion,

의심하고 있고,

I am suspicious, and

또 다른 표적을 보여달라고,

Please show me another target.

하나님 앞에 강구하는 영혼들이 있다면,

If there are souls who make supplications before God,

하나님 오늘 말씀을 통해서,

God, through today's words,

십자가로 인도하여 주옵소서,

Lead me to the cross.

십자가는,

The cross is,

가장 분명한,

The clearest,

하나님의 사랑과,

God's love and,

자비와 긍류에 대한 표적임을 알게 하시고,

Make them aware that they are a sign of mercy and compassion.

십자가 아래서,

Under the cross,

하나님 앞에 설복되게 하시고,

May you be humbled before God,

그래서,

So,

하나님의 가족이 되는,

Becoming a family of God,

그러한 고원의 은혜를 허락해 주옵소서,

Please grant us such a grace of a highland.

이번 한 주간의 삶을,

This week's life,

주의 성령께 이탈합니다.

I am diverging from the Holy Spirit.

성령 하나님 우리를 인도하여 주옵소서,
