우린 취재도적 2016년 최목사의 교회에서도 정미 씨와 비슷한 일을 겪은 신도가 있었다는 사실을 알게 됐습니다.

그런데 우리는 캄보디아 취재 당시 이 씨가 세운 D교회 현판에서 70대 노모의 이름을 확인할 수 있었습니다.

However, during our reporting in Cambodia, we were able to confirm the name of a 70-year-old mother on the plaque of Church D that Mr. Lee established.

제가 알기로는 목사님들하고 헌금하신 집사님들이나 권사님들 대신 장모님들 존함인 걸로 알고 있습니다.

As far as I know, it is the names of the elders instead of the pastors and the deaconesses or deacons who have made offerings.

한국 돈으로 2억 5천 정도 들어간 걸로 알고 있습니다.

I know it cost around 250 million won.

캄보디아에 교회를 몇 개 지어놓고 그걸 법인으로 만든다는 게 있었어요.

There was a plan to build several churches in Cambodia and turn them into a corporation.

법인 이름을 넣어놓으면 나중에 노후 대책이 된다. 이런 식으로 아마 유도를 했을 거예요.

If you put in the name of the corporation, it will become a retirement plan later on. They probably encouraged it this way.

스토리가 그런 식으로 나가야 한다고.

지적장애인 딸을 둔 70대 여성의 돈으로 세운 교회에 현지인 아내로 인해 문제가 생기자 이후 투병 중인 남편을 둔 정미 씨의 돈으로 교회를 되찾았던 겁니다.

When problems arose regarding a church established with the money of a woman in her 70s who has a daughter with an intellectual disability, the church was regained with the money of Ms. Jung-mi, who has a husband currently battling illness.

현재 교회의 명의는 이 씨가 새로 사귄 20대 현지인 여성 앞으로 옮겨진 것으로 확인되는 상황.
