해당 수업에 참여했는지를 평가한 성적이 보고되는 것이고

일반적으로 3학년이 시작되는 5월부터 다음에 4월까지

참여한 수업의 종류 순서대로 취득한 성적을 밝히며

이 학생은 외과에서 중상위권에 해당하는 성적을 받은 것이 아니고

This student did not receive grades that are considered mid-high level in surgery.

중하위권에 해당하는 성적을 받은 것이라고.

It indicates that they received a score that falls in the lower middle range.

분석할 수 있겠습니다.

하지만 수학과에서도 똑같은 하이패스 성적을 받았더라도

However, even if I received the same high-pass grade in mathematics as well,

수학과에서는 15%의 학생만이 어널스 성적을 받았고

In the mathematics department, only 15% of the students received an A grade.

40%의 학생이 하이패스 성적을 받았으며

40% of the students received high pass grades.

45%의 학생은 패스 성적을 받은 경우라면

모두 어너스를 받아야만 원하는 레지던시 프로그램에 매칭이 되는 것은 아니지만

Not everyone needs to receive an honor to be matched with the desired residency program, but...

적어도 본인이 지원하는 분야에서는 어너스로 주로 표현되는 최고점을 받는 것이 도움이 된다는 점이죠.

At least in the field you are applying for, receiving the highest score, which is mainly expressed as honors, is helpful.

내과의사가 되고자 하는 학생이 외과 수업에서 최고점을 받지 못하는 것은 이해가 되지만

It is understandable that a student who wants to become an internist does not achieve the highest scores in surgery classes, but...

내과 수업에서 최고점을 받지 못하면 경쟁력 있는 병원에서 내과 전공의로 트레이닝을 받는 것이

If I don't get top scores in my internal medicine class, it will be difficult to receive training as an internal medicine resident at a competitive hospital.

쉽지 않을 수 있으니 모든 것을 잘하려고 할 필요는 없지만

It may not be easy, so there's no need to try to do everything perfectly.

원하는 것은 잘하려고 할 필요는 절대적으로 있습니다.
