Już 1 marca bieżącego roku odbędzie się kolejna konferencja popularnonaukowa z cyklu Ewolucja. Stworzenie.

Another popular science conference from the series Evolution. Creation will take place on March 1st of this year.

Tym razem będzie to już ósma edycja tej konferencji, zatytułowana Naukowy i religijny wymiar kosmologii.

This time it will be the eighth edition of this conference, titled The Scientific and Religious Dimension of Cosmology.

W ramach tej konferencji poszukamy odpowiedzi na pytanie, czym zajmuje się kosmologia, a czym teologia.

As part of this conference, we will seek answers to the question of what cosmology is about and what theology is about.

Czyli zobaczymy, jakie są różnice w przedmiocie badań i w sposobach dochodzenia do ustaleń, do wniosków.

So we will see what the differences are in the subject of research and in the ways of reaching conclusions.

Później zobaczymy naukowy wymiar kosmologii, czyli powiemy sobie o kosmologii jako nauce, która rekonstruuje dynamikę, rozwój Wszechświata od Wielkiego Wybuchu do dnia dzisiejszego.

Later, we will see the scientific dimension of cosmology, meaning we will talk about cosmology as a science that reconstructs the dynamics and development of the Universe from the Big Bang to the present day.

Później powiemy o religijnym wymiarze kosmologii, to znaczy, czy kosmologia może nam coś powiedzieć ciekawego, co byłoby interesujące dla teologa.

Later we will talk about the religious aspect of cosmology, that is, whether cosmology can tell us something interesting that would be of interest to a theologian.

I na koniec znajdziemy odpowiedź na pytanie, czy kosmologia i teologia mogą mówić o tym samym.

And finally, we will find an answer to the question of whether cosmology and theology can speak about the same thing.

Czy jest to ta sama perspektywa badawcza, na przykład na początek i pochodzenie Wszechświata, czy te perspektywy nieco średnie.

Is this the same research perspective, for example, on the beginning and origin of the Universe, or are these perspectives somewhat average?

Czy te perspektywy się od siebie różnią. Innymi słowy będzie to próba odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy nauka może zastąpić religię, w tym wypadku, czy kosmologia może zastąpić badania z zakresu teologii.

Do these perspectives differ from each other? In other words, this will be an attempt to answer the question of whether science can replace religion, in this case, whether cosmology can replace studies in theology.
