Essa opção basicamente serve pra você escolher o dispositivo que você vai reproduzir e gravar o seu áudio, ou seja, a interface que você vai reproduzir e gravar o seu áudio.

Essa opção, ela basicamente funciona da seguinte forma.

Ela controla a latência e o nível de atraso, na verdade, o nível de atraso da reprodução de um áudio.

Ou seja, o nível de atraso entre o momento que o músico toca e o momento que ele é reproduzido na sua monitoração.
