Então, o meu nome é Carolina Weber, eu tenho 25 anos, eu me formei em agosto de 2016 na PUC em Porto Alegre.

Hoje eu trabalho na AVF Comunicações, em Triunfo, e a gente presta trabalho, a gente é terceirizado e presta a parte da assessoria de imprensa para a Prefeitura de Triunfo.

Today I work at AVF Comunicações, in Triunfo, and we provide services; we are outsourced and handle the press advisory for the City Hall of Triunfo.

Então, a gente também faz outros trabalhos, às vezes pessoais, a gente não tem um vínculo exclusivo com a Prefeitura, mas o nosso contrato principal é o da Prefeitura,

So, we also do other work, sometimes personal, we do not have an exclusive bond with the City Hall, but our main contract is with the City Hall.

então a gente faz toda a parte da assessoria, cobertura de eventos para a Prefeitura de Triunfo.

So we handle all the advisory work and event coverage for the City Hall of Triunfo.

Ali eu estou há um ano e meio, mais ou menos.

I have been there for about a year and a half.

Ali na AVF Comunicações, mas eu atuo na área desde antes de me formar, eu já comecei a estagiar logo no meu primeiro semestre e segundo semestre, na verdade, desde lá eu sigo trabalhando na área.

There at AVF Comunicações, but I have been working in the field since before I graduated; I started interning right in my first and second semesters, actually, I've been working in the field since then.

A prestação do nosso serviço, ela é tipo terceirizada e funciona tipo assim, o meu contrato ele é fechado com a empresa.

The provision of our service is outsourced, and it works like this: my contract is signed with the company.

Eu recebo um salário fixo, porque a gente, tipo, o contrato da Prefeitura ele funciona de forma anual, então é um contrato que ele segue o ano inteiro, então não tem, então tipo, o meu salário é fixo, eu recebo como se fosse, tipo, sem ser um trabalho terceirizado, entendeu?

I receive a fixed salary because, like, the contract with the City Hall works on an annual basis, so it's a contract that lasts the whole year, so there isn't, so like, my salary is fixed, I get paid as if it were, like, not a outsourced job, you know?

Mas se tem algum outro evento, alguma coisa por fora, daí é acertado por campanha ou por atividade, porém o meu contrato é fechado.

But if there's another event, something outside, then it's arranged by campaign or by activity, however, my contract is fixed.

Sim, eu já atuei em outras áreas de comunicação, na verdade, tipo, eu sempre atuei na mesma área, a parte de assessoria de imprensa, porém de outras maneiras, né?

Yes, I have worked in other areas of communication; in fact, like, I have always worked in the same area, the press advisory part, but in different ways, right?

Eu sempre atuei como assessoria de imprensa para instituições públicas, principalmente, meus estágios, o primeiro foi em Prefeitura de São Jerônimo, depois trabalhei na Secretaria Estadual da Cultura.

I have always worked as a press advisor for public institutions, mainly during my internships; the first was at the City Hall of São Jerônimo, and then I worked at the State Secretariat of Culture.

Depois eu fui para a Secretaria Estadual de Agricultura e agora trabalho em Triunfo, então sempre foi na parte de assessoria de alguma instituição pública, né, funcionalismo público, porém essa é a primeira experiência como essa maneira é terceirizada através da imprensa, da empresa, que presta serviço à Prefeitura.

Then I went to the State Department of Agriculture and now I work in Triunfo, so I have always been in the advisory part of some public institution, right, public service, but this is the first experience like this that is outsourced through the media, the company, that provides services to the City Hall.

Todas as outras vezes eu trabalhava direto para o órgão público, né?

All the other times I worked directly for the public agency, right?

O quadro de comunicação na nossa empresa, tipo, a pessoa formada na área de comunicação lá sou só eu, que sou jornalista, até porque é eu que faço parte da comunicação ali mesmo, né?

The communication framework in our company, like, the only person trained in the communication field is me, as I am a journalist, after all it is I who is part of the communication there, right?

Os guris, o resto dos meus colegas, eles fazem mais a parte de filmagens e coisas assim, entendeu?

The guys, the rest of my colleagues, they do more of the filming and things like that, you know?

Eu atuo diretamente na parte que produz as matérias, parte 3D.

I work directly in the part that produces the materials, 3D part.

Eu faço produção textual principalmente e também quando tem alguma entrevista, alguma coisa, eu faço tanto a produção textual como reportagem, repórter, principalmente em eventos grandes.

I mainly do text production and also when there is an interview or something, I do both text production and reporting, mainly as a reporter at large events.

Mas no dia a dia, a minha atuação é, tipo, cobrindo os eventos, vou lá, fotografo, pego um resumo do que acontece para criar matéria para a Prefeitura ou para outra empresa.

But in my day-to-day work, I basically cover events, I go there, take photos, get a summary of what happens to create material for the City Hall or for another company.

Porque a gente esteja prestando serviço, né?

Because we are providing a service, right?

Os outros profissionais que trabalham comigo, eles cuidam da parte de filmagem, que é a equipe que trabalha junto para filmar as reportagens, fazer vídeo, às vezes cobertura fotográfica, outros deles também me ajudam nessa parte.

The other professionals who work with me take care of the filming part, which is the team that works together to film the reports, make videos, sometimes do photographic coverage, and some of them also help me with this part.

Então, é uma equipe pequena, mas, tipo, é o que precisa para a gente fazer.

So, it’s a small team, but, like, it’s what we need to do.

Agora, se tiver algum evento grande, a gente contrata alguma pessoa específica para fazer.

Now, if there's a big event, we hire someone specific to do it.

Porque abertura de eventos ou, tipo, repórter também, depende se for necessário alguma equipe maior, né?

Because the opening of events or, like, a reporter too, depends if a larger team is needed, right?

Os principais desafios que a equipe encontra, né?

The main challenges that the team faces, right?

Eu acho que seriam os mesmos, independente de ser na situação como profissional terceirizado na área, ou se fosse quando eu trabalhava na época direto com a instituição pública.

I think they would be the same, regardless of whether it was in the situation as a third-party professional in the area, or if it were when I worked directly with the public institution at that time.

Os desafios são os mesmos, né?

A parte do jornalismo, jornalismo, a comunicação em geral, tu tem... tu lida direto com pessoas.

Apart from journalism, journalism, communication in general, you have... you deal directly with people.

Então, lida direto com pessoas, às vezes tu encontra desafios, às vezes tem pessoas que tu precisa entrevistar e não são fáceis de entrevistar, que não gostam de falar, não é todo mundo que se sente à vontade de falar.

So, you deal directly with people, sometimes you encounter challenges, sometimes there are people you need to interview who are not easy to interview, who don’t like to talk, not everyone feels comfortable talking.

E também por ser eventos, tipo, é tudo ao vivo, basicamente.

And also because it's events, like, it's all live, basically.

Então, tipo, tá ali, tu não pode perder nada.

So, like, it's right there, you can't miss anything.

Nada que tu acontece.

Nothing that happens to you.

Então, é um evento muito grande.

So, it's a very big event.

Há pouco tempo, ano passado, nós cobrimos o evento Triunfo em Festa, e é um evento muito grande, porque tinha muita coisa acontecendo ao mesmo tempo.

Not long ago, last year, we covered the Triunfo em Festa event, and it is a very large event because there was a lot happening at the same time.

Então, a gente tem que... é uma correria pra estar em tudo que é lugar.

So, we have to... it's a rush to be everywhere.

Então, eu acho que os principais obstáculos é nesse aspecto, sabe?

Eu gosto mesmo dos desafios e é isso.

Pra Prefeitura de Triunfo, a gente faz a cobertura de todos os eventos.

For the City Hall of Triunfo, we cover all events.

Quando a gente tem o contrato com eles, não é só eventos grandes.

When we have the contract with them, it's not just big events.

É até reuniões que acontecem no gabinete do prefeito.

There are even meetings that take place in the mayor's office.

Todo e qualquer tipo de evento que seja realizado pela prefeitura,

a gente, como é uma empresa terceirizada que tinha o contrato com eles pra prestar esse serviço de assessoria,

we, as a third-party company that had the contract with them to provide this advisory service,

a gente realiza todo o trabalho que seria... que cabe à assessoria de imprensa, né?

We do all the work that would be... that is up to the press office, right?

Independente de ser terceirizada ou não, a assessoria de imprensa, ela fica responsável por todos os eventos.

Então, tipo, dias de eventos diários, como nas creches, eventos grandes, etc.

eu acho, a gente ia para lá desde de manhã e ficava até duas da manhã, direto, assim.

I think we used to go there from morning and stay until two in the morning, straight like that.

Lá, a gente montou tipo um estúdio lá, então a gente fazia... acompanhava.

There, we set up kind of a studio, so we would do... follow along.

Tinha de manhã, mais ou menos, as provas de genetiada, principalmente,

I had, in the morning, more or less, the genetics tests, mainly.

algumas outras provas artísticas em alguns dias, então a gente tinha que ir lá fotografar,

some other artistic performances in a few days, so we had to go there to take pictures,

filmar, acompanhar o que estava acontecendo para estar sempre abastecendo,

to film, to follow what was happening in order to always keep updated,

abastecendo as redes sociais da prefeitura e também o site com a matéria.

Mas, como é um evento grande, muita coisa, a gente não fazia uma matéria a cada coisa que acontecia, né?

But, since it's a big event, a lot of things happen, we didn't write an article for every single thing that occurred, right?

A gente fez uma matéria no final do evento, resumindo tudo o que aconteceu, os melhores momentos.

We wrote an article at the end of the event, summarizing everything that happened, the best moments.

Mas a gente ia abastecendo, principalmente, as redes sociais em tempo real, né?

But we were mainly fueling social media in real time, right?

Eu acompanhava os eventos da prefeitura, tudo que a prefeitura fazia,

fotografava, ajudava a fazer o texto e abastecia as redes sociais também.

Quando eu trabalhava na Secretaria de Cultura do Estado, também como estagiária,

eu era responsável pelas redes sociais, aí eu ficava, especificamente, nas redes sociais.

Eu não ia tanto nos eventos, porque tinha, daí tinha lá a estrutura maior,

Então, tinha um fotógrafo específico da Secretaria, tinha uma jornalista responsável,

Então, mais eles acompanhavam o secretário aos eventos e traziam as informações

que eu fazia os textos para as redes sociais e lá eu tinha uma colega que era designer,
