Então, eu vou contar uma experiência, especialmente, que eu tive no ensino superior,

Inclusive, foi uma proposta que motivou os alunos do curso de letras portuguesa a pensarem materiais

que eles pudessem utilizar no ensino, numa disciplina de língua portuguesa, né?

that they could use in teaching, in a Portuguese language class, right?

E essa experiência, então, tem a ver com gamificação.

E ela foi muito interessante porque ela...

And it was very interesting because she...

Ela foi uma experiência que motivou muitos estudantes a pesquisarem,

It was an experience that motivated many students to research,

eles se engajaram muito, e a pesquisarem não só o conteúdo em si, né?

They engaged a lot, and researched not only the content itself, right?

Mas também uma forma de transpor esse conteúdo, de transformar esse conteúdo em um objeto de ensino

But also a way to transpose this content, to transform this content into a teaching object.

Então, essa experiência se deu numa universidade no interior do Rio Grande do Sul,

Então, era uma universidade com curso de letras muito pequeno,

os alunos praticamente todos se conheciam, né?

The students practically all knew each other, right?

Em algum momento da faculdade, eles acabavam sendo alunos, né?

At some point in college, they ended up being students, right?

Da maioria dos professores, pelo fato de ser um curso pequeno.

From most of the teachers, due to it being a small course.

E isso possibilitava, então, que a gente tivesse muito mais liberdade, né?

And that made it possible for us to have much more freedom, right?

Muito mais adesão, inclusive, dos alunos para a proposta.

Much more support, including from the students for the proposal.

Que fossem diferentes.

That they were different.

E nessa instituição, uma outra coisa interessante é que os professores participavam de muitas formações.

And in this institution, another interesting thing is that the teachers participated in many training sessions.

Eram oferecidas muitas formações sobre metodologias de ensino que fossem as chamadas metodologias ativas.

Many training sessions on teaching methodologies known as active methodologies were offered.

Como a metodologia da problematização, metodologia do arco, sala de aula invertida, instrução por pares.

Like the problematization methodology, arch methodology, flipped classroom, peer instruction.

Então, são alguns exemplos de metodologias ativas.

E a gente fez, então, um estudo teórico relativamente detalhado, né?

So we did a relatively detailed theoretical study, right?

E depois eu propus a eles, então, que eles inventassem, né?

And then I suggested to them that they come up with something, right?

Que eles pensassem em jogos para o seu público,

That they think about games for their audience,

que era um público que eles deveriam...

E que eles propusessem, então, jogos que explorassem essa questão da MorphoSyntax, né?

E, então, eles acabaram levando duas aulas nessa pesquisa e na elaboração dos jogos, né?

And so, they ended up taking two lessons in this research and in the development of the games, right?

E também na elaboração.

And also in the elaboration.

Foi uma proposta interessante porque não demandou nenhum aparato tecnológico muito diferente, né?

It was an interesting proposal because it didn't require any very different technological apparatus, right?

Eles usaram nada mais do que papel, caneta, tesoura, cola,

They used nothing more than paper, pen, scissors, glue,

eram os materiais de papelaria que a gente já tinha no curso, né?

They were the stationery materials that we already had in the course, right?

E fizeram esse trabalho em grupos, né?

And they did this work in groups, right?

Acho que eram grupos de 5 alunos, 6 que se reuniram por afinidade.

I think they were groups of 5, 6 students who gathered by affinity.

E o resultado foi muito bacana.

And the result was really cool.

Nessas duas aulas, então, eles planejaram e executaram os jogos

In these two classes, they planned and executed the games.

e no terceiro encontro eles apresentaram os jogos e convidaram os colegas a brincar.

And in the third meeting, they presented the games and invited their classmates to play.

Vou dar alguns exemplos daquilo que os estudantes produziram.

I will give some examples of what the students produced.

Então, alguns dos jogos criados foram, por exemplo, Morpho Cassino.

So, some of the games created were, for example, Morpho Casino.

Morpho Cassino foi uma criação de três discos giratórios e a apresentação foi muito interessante

Morpho Cassino was a creation of three spinning discs and the presentation was very interesting.

porque eles decoraram a sala como se fosse um cassino mesmo, com música.

because they decorated the room as if it were a real casino, with music.

Tinha realmente motivos decorativos que lembravam um cassino.

It really had decorative reasons that reminded one of a casino.

E o jogo eram três discos, um disco com prefixos, um disco com radicais e um disco com sufixo.

And the game consisted of three discs: one disc with prefixes, one disc with roots, and one disc with suffixes.

E era chamado assim, um jogo de azar.

And it was called that, a game of chance.

Os estudantes precisavam girar aqueles três discos

The students needed to turn those three disks.

e aí precisavam que desse a sorte de formar uma palavra existente na língua portuguesa.

And then they needed me to be lucky enough to form an existing word in the Portuguese language.

Então esse foi um dos primeiros.

So that was one of the first.

O segundo foi o dos Cubos Mágicos.

The second was the Magic Cubes.

É mais ou menos o mesmo princípio, mas em vez de discos, os estudantes usaram cubos.

It's more or less the same principle, but instead of disks, the students used cubes.

Então em cada face do cubo, dos prefixos, colocaram uma lista de prefixos

So on each face of the cube, of the prefixes, they placed a list of prefixes.

no cubo que continha os radicais da mesma forma

in the cube that contained the radicals in the same form

e dos sufixos também.

and of the suffixes as well.

Então bastava lançar os cubos e como eram listas de prefixos, de radicais e de sufixos,

Então esse foi o segundo jogo.

E como todos os jogos de tabuleiro, tem uma trilha que precisa ser percorrida

Então tinha, como nos jogos de tabuleiro, casas que tinham bônus ou que ofereciam punições

E os materiais ficaram muito interessantes, porque ficaram muito coloridos.

E apesar de não terem sido feitos no computador, terem sido feitos à mão,

ficaram materiais muito atrativos visualmente também.

Um outro jogo que eles propuseram também foi o Stop,

que é um jogo que já tem outras temáticas e eles adaptaram para o ensino de língua.

Então a temática do Stop que eles montaram foi a derivação.

So the theme of the Stop they set up was derivation.

Então eles tinham...

Precisava ter simplesmente uma tabela num papel para cada um dos jogadores.

I simply needed to have a table on paper for each of the players.

Então havia algumas colunas.

So there were some columns.

Na primeira coluna tinha o radical.

In the first column was the root.

Na segunda tinha o tipo de derivação.

On Monday, there was the type of derivation.

E também uma coluna destinada a anotar a pontuação do jogador.

And also a column designated to record the player's score.

Então em vez de dizer uma letra, como tradicionalmente se usa no jogo do Stop,

So instead of saying a letter, like is traditionally done in the game of Stop,

pelo menos no Rio Grande se usava, no Rio Grande do Sul, né?

Esses jogos, por exemplo, que foram bolados

poderiam muito facilmente serem transpostos para meios digitais, né?
