Eu estava seguindo, não fazia mais sentido, que eu queria ver coisa nova,

I was following, it didn't make sense anymore, that I wanted to see something new.

Aí eu comecei a tirar umas pessoas e dar uma buscada na internet em novas pessoas.

So I started to remove some people and look online for new ones.

Nessa buscada na internet, uma amiga que falou,

E aí foi quando eu comecei a seguir e uma das coisas, sim, uma das coisas que eu mais gostei,

And that's when I started to follow, and one of the things, yes, one of the things that I liked the most,

que chamou muita atenção, foi o seu jeito leve de conduzir as postagens e tudo,

what drew a lot of attention was your light way of conducting the posts and everything,

e bem dia a dia, sem montar.

Me mudei para cá no ano passado, né, em 2019, logo após o casamento.

Me casei e mudei, literalmente.

I got married and moved, literally.

Enfim, coisas da vida.

Eu tenho 26 anos, eu trabalho com internet desde que eu tinha 15.

Então, foi assim, na época que surgiram os blogs, mesmo assim.

Eu criei um blog com a minha irmã, chamava, né, porque ainda não existe mais,

mas algo sempre, igual você falou, e é muito a minha pegada, assim, é muito natural.

but something always, as you said, and it’s very much my vibe, it’s very natural.

Sempre gostei muito de moda, de comunicação.

I have always loved fashion and communication.

Então, eu fui também, enfim, levando outros projetos, né, paralelos à internet.

So, I also went, after all, carrying other projects, right, parallel to the internet.

Mas eu comecei a trabalhar com internet muito nova.

But I started working with the internet very young.

E era na época que não existia Instagram ainda, que blog era algo muito novo.

And it was at a time when Instagram didn't exist yet, when blogging was something very new.

Então, foi quando as marcas começaram a procurar.

So, that's when brands started to look for it.

Você falava, nossa, mas como que você ganha dinheiro com isso?

You used to ask, wow, but how do you make money with that?

Como que isso pode ser um trabalho?

How can this be a job?

E a gente foi desvendando.

And we were unraveling.

Eu adoro acompanhar essa evolução, né, de tudo mesmo, assim.

Enfim, acho que a internet é uma ferramenta maravilhosa,

Porque eu acho que dá a impressão de que você tá sofrendo com esse deixar pra trás, né.

Because I think it gives the impression that you are suffering from this letting go, right?

Mas, assim, deixar isso pra viver um novo e começar meio que, assim, do zero praticamente, né.

But, like, leaving this behind to live a new one and starting kind of, like, from scratch practically, right?

Foi uma decisão super consciente, conversada.

It was a very conscious decision, discussed.

Não foi nada assim, eu não fui obrigada a vir, sabe.

It wasn't like that at all, I wasn't forced to come, you know.

Não tinha outra opção, nós conversamos muito.

There was no other option, we talked a lot.

E eu sempre tive algo muito...

And I've always had something very...

Não sempre, na verdade.

Not always, in fact.

Mas eu sou super a favor, assim, do...

But I am totally in favor, like, of...

Da gente se conhecer, do autoconhecimento e ter os nossos valores, né, bem definidos mesmo.

From getting to know ourselves, self-awareness, and having our values well defined, right?

Eu sou cristã e eu sou muito orientada por toda essa questão de família.

I am Christian and I am very guided by all these family matters.

E eu acredito muito na vontade de Deus na minha vida.

And I have a strong belief in God's will in my life.

Enfim, então todas as nossas decisões sempre foram muito pautadas em muita conversa e oração.

Anyway, all our decisions have always been very based on a lot of conversation and prayer.

E eu sempre tive muito...

And I have always had a lot...

Não, eu tô falando sempre, mas isso foi um processo, na verdade.

Mas hoje em dia, né, eu tenho muito claro pra mim o que...

O que eu desejo pra minha vida.

E quais são as minhas prioridades, sabe.

Eu sempre falo, assim, que a minha vida pessoal vai estar sempre à frente da minha vida profissional.

I always say that my personal life will always be ahead of my professional life.

Eu acho que, na verdade, tudo caminha junto.

Mas eu não deixaria uma carreira passar na frente da minha família.

Que, na verdade, seria, de fato, esse processo de abrir novas portas.

That, in fact, would be this process of opening new doors.

Mas que aqui eu teria infinitas possibilidades.

But that here I would have infinite possibilities.

Muito além do que em Goiânia, inclusive, sabe.

Far beyond what is in Goiânia, you know.

Apesar de já ter construído toda uma história lá de muitos anos.

Eu sabia que, falando pelo lado profissional exclusivamente.

I knew that, speaking purely from a professional standpoint.

Aqui poderia me abrir muitas outras portas, né.

Por estar, enfim, numa capital do mundo.

For being, finally, in a capital of the world.

Inúmeras marcas.

Countless brands.

Estão aqui.

They are here.

E eu tenho experiência, assim, vivenciado isso mesmo.

And I have experience, having really lived through this.

Que toda essa dedicação.

What all this dedication.

Que, enfim, a decisão e tudo não foi em vão, sabe.

That, after all, the decision and everything was not in vain, you know.

Claro que lá era a minha zona.

Of course, that was my area.

Eu brinco que eu saí da minha zona de conforto mesmo.

I joke that I really stepped out of my comfort zone.

Um lugar onde eu conhecia todo mundo.

A place where I knew everyone.

Onde muitas pessoas me conheciam.

Where many people knew me.

Onde eu, enfim, trabalhei tantos anos.

Where I, finally, worked for so many years.

E vim pra cá pra conhecer novas pessoas.

And I came here to meet new people.

Mas tem sido maravilhoso.

But it has been wonderful.

Porque eu tenho conhecido pessoas maravilhosas.

Because I have met wonderful people.

Enfim.

Finally.

E nessa questão profissional também.

And in this professional matter as well.

É, eu concordo muito com isso.

Tanto que um dos motivos de retorno.

So much so that one of the reasons for the return.

De ter aberto o podcast.

E isso não exclui o fato de você poder ter uma carreira.

Eu acho que é a carreira que vai acompanhar a sua vida pessoal.

Bom, o Friendshop, na verdade, que era o Bazar Friendshop, nasceu em Goiânia.

Well, Friendshop, actually known as Bazar Friendshop, was born in Goiânia.

Com uma amiga minha, sócia.

With a friend of mine, a partner.

E sócia também.

And a partner too.

Se chama Thaís.

Her name is Thaís.

Em 2015, ela vendia até umas coisas no...

Acho que era no Facebook, no Instagram dela na época.

Enfim, eu lembro que ela já vendia algumas coisas, assim, de desapego e tal.

Anyway, I remember that she used to sell some things, you know, as a way of letting go and stuff.

E em 2015, eu fui...

Eu falei que eu morei a vida toda em Goiânia, né.

I said that I have lived my whole life in Goiânia, right?

Mas eu tive alguns períodos morando em Goiânia.

But I had some periods living in Goiânia.

Mas eu tive alguns períodos morando fora curtos, assim, meses.

But I had some short periods living abroad, like a few months.

E eu...

And I...

Em 2015, eu fui morar em Nova York e fui estudar.

In 2015, I moved to New York and went to study.

E eram alguns meses, mas eu não sabia exatamente, assim, talvez poderia ser mais e tudo.

It was a few months, but I didn't know exactly, so maybe it could be more and everything.

Aquela coisa.

That thing.

Eu queria dar um limpa no meu guarda-roupa, basicamente.

I wanted to clear out my wardrobe, basically.

Dar um limpa para levar só o necessário.

Do a clean-up to take only the essentials.

E para também aproveitar e juntar um dinheiro.

And to also take the opportunity to save some money.

Acabou que nós decidimos.

We ended up deciding.

Eu me juntei com ela.

Acho que já começou com esse nome.

Nós fizemos um salão de festas no meu prédio mesmo.

We made a party hall in my building.

Pegamos peças de outubro.

We picked pieces from October.

Outras amigas.

Other friends.

A gente fez tudo, assim, à mão na época.

We did everything by hand back then.

Foi bem caseiro, assim, mesmo.

It was very homemade, like that, really.

A gente pegou umas araras emprestadas.

We borrowed some macaws.

A gente só aceitava dinheiro.

We only accepted cash.

Foi algo super de última hora e corrido.

It was something very last minute and rushed.

Mas eu lembro que, assim, o bazar abriu, sei lá, nove da manhã.

But I remember that the bazaar opened, I don't know, at nine in the morning.

Era dez e meia.

It was ten thirty.

Já não tinha mais nada.

I no longer had anything.

E aí foi o maior sucesso.

And then it was a huge success.

E era só de peças de desapego.

And it was just about pieces of detachment.

Nós criamos toda a nossa metodologia de organização, de precificação, de tudo.

We created all of our organization methodology, pricing, everything.

Acabou que eu fui morar em Nova York.

I ended up living in New York.

Fui passar esses meses lá estudando.

I went to spend those months there studying.

Mas antes do final do ano, eu já voltei para a Goiânia.

But before the end of the year, I was already back in Goiânia.

E aí, quando eu voltei, nós falamos...

So, when I came back, we talked...

Foi tão legal.

E aí a gente foi se profissionalizando cada vez mais.

Tudo bem certinho.
