E esse foi o exato motivo de eu ter iniciado esse projeto, essa ideia que vai começar agora.

E a minha ideia veio porque eu simplesmente não encontrei ainda um podcast que fale sobre

And my idea came because I simply haven't found a podcast that talks about.

all the topics that I am interested in from all the perspectives that interest me

e com todos os convidados que eu queria escutar.

and with all the guests that I wanted to hear.

Então eu me senti moralmente obrigado a começar esse trabalho.

So I felt morally obligated to start this work.

E a gente vai trazer convidados e a nossa intenção aqui é sempre trazer convidados,

And we will bring guests, and our intention here is always to bring guests.

mas quando não der ou quando não estivermos afim, a gente vai ter só uma conversa,

but when it doesn't work or when we're not in the mood, we'll just have a conversation,

uma coisa mais casual, uma coisa menos teórica e enfim.

Esse podcast não tem nenhuma pretensão de defesa, de algum posicionamento em todas as áreas que ele vai tocar,

porque eu sou estudante de teologia, mas eu vou querer e vou abordar diversas temáticas

Because I am a theology student, but I will want to and will address various themes.

e áreas do conhecimento, mais especificamente sobre as ciências humanas

and areas of knowledge, more specifically about the humanities

e obviamente mais próximo da ciência da religião, que é o lugar onde eu atuo e pesquiso.

and obviously closer to the science of religion, which is the field where I work and conduct research.

Dentro dessas áreas, o podcast em si não tem nenhuma bandeira, não tem nenhum propósito,

mas a pessoa que está fazendo a organização dele atualmente, pelo menos,

É que a gente consiga subsumir no sentido de conseguir encontrar positividade nas coisas que nem sempre a gente concorda.

It's that we can manage to find positivity in things that we don't always agree with.

E aquelas coisas que a gente achar que não devem ser subsumidas, nós não iremos abordar.

And those things that we find should not be subsumed, we will not address.

Nós iremos abordar temáticas, pessoas, iremos abordar lugares e questões

We will address themes, people, we will address places and issues.

que nós acreditamos que sejam possíveis retirar positividades e coisas boas

that we believe can bring out positives and good things

e coisas para superações das nossas formas de estudar, de pesquisar e de continuar trabalhando.

and ways to overcome our ways of studying, researching, and continuing to work.

Esse podcast também não tem uma proposta meramente acadêmica, como pode parecer um pouco o meu palavreado ou não, não sei.

This podcast also doesn't have a purely academic proposal, as my wording may seem a bit or not, I don't know.

Mas ele tem sim uma influência pelo próprio meio e pelas próprias pessoas,

But he does have an influence from the environment and the people themselves.

que eu escuto, mas a nossa proposta é conseguir dialogar com todas as pessoas,

that I hear, but our proposal is to manage to engage in dialogue with all people,

seja dentro da academia, fora da academia, dentro da teologia, fora da teologia,

whether inside academia, outside academia, within theology, outside theology,

e conseguir fazer um debate, um diálogo bom entre todas essas questões.

and to manage to have a good debate, a good dialogue among all these issues.

Nós vamos abordar temas polêmicos aqui também, e para fazer isso, normalmente, eu vou chamar alguém,

We will also address controversial topics here, and to do that, I will usually invite someone.

porque eu não quero pôr minha cara a tapa para temas que não são minhas pautas, não são minhas questões.
