Eu queria saber de vocês dois um pouco disso, como que vocês começam a criar?

I would like to know from both of you a little about this, how do you start creating?

Eu gosto muito dos dois processos, na verdade, esta questão de ou criar primeiro um bocadinho sozinha ou criar inicialmente coletivamente, porque eu acho que os dois processos têm ambos momentos muito prazerosos.

I really like both processes, actually, this issue of either creating a little bit alone first or creating collectively initially, because I think both processes have very enjoyable moments.

Mas eu gosto muito de andar de comboio e o comboio é um dos meus escritórios preferidos. Passo muitas horas dentro do comboio. E então esses momentos em que vou ali sozinha, em que vou observar as vidas das outras pessoas e assim, acabam por me trazer muitos bocadinhos de coisas que eu acabo por utilizar nos meus textos.

But I really like riding the train, and the train is one of my favorite offices. I spend many hours inside the train. And so those moments when I go there alone, when I observe the lives of other people and such, end up bringing me many little pieces of things that I end up using in my texts.

E às vezes começa só por isso.

And sometimes it starts just for that.

Por apenas por uma ideia, por uma perceção, por uma sensação que eu tenho. Mas depois acaba sempre por, pelo menos numa fase inicial, acaba por ser algo que converso muitas vezes com a Roberta, que é minha parceira de criação, e acabamos por desenvolver um bocadinho o que é que podia ser essa ideia e depois eu então lanço-me à escrita.

It's just an idea, a perception, a feeling that I have. But then it always ends up being, at least in an initial phase, something that I often discuss with Roberta, who is my creative partner, and we end up developing a bit what that idea could be, and then I dive into writing.

E a escrita é uma fase, claro, a escrita assim, em bruto, é uma fase mais solitária. Acaba por ser uma fase mais solitária em que eu testo uma série de materiais de escrita, mas depois o texto final é sempre afinado, por assim dizer, e limado em coletivo.

Writing is a phase, of course, writing like this, in its raw form, is a more solitary phase. It ends up being a more solitary phase in which I test a series of writing materials, but then the final text is always refined, so to speak, and polished collectively.

Primeiro não.

Primeiro não. Primeiro é uma fase mesmo de texto, porque eu preocupo-me muito com as palavras e com a maneira como isso pode ou não servir aos atores.

Eu não sou aquele tipo de autor que diz, ai não, não se pode mexer no texto, eu escrevi assim. Não, eu tenho muita preocupação com o outro, com que as minhas palavras possam pertencer ao outro.

I am not that type of author who says, oh no, you can't change the text, I wrote it this way. No, I am very concerned with the other, with the idea that my words can belong to the other.

Então primeiro há essa fase de depuração relativamente ao texto e só depois então, mais à questão de ensinar.

So first there is this phase of refining the text and only then, more towards the issue of teaching.

A minha formação foi ali mais ou menos no ano de 2010.

E nessa época a gente vinha de uma série de experiências na cidade de grupos que trabalhavam em processos colaborativos, onde a dramaturgia era pensada fundamentalmente de um modo coletivo.

At that time, we came from a series of experiences in the city of groups that worked in collaborative processes, where the dramaturgy was fundamentally conceived in a collective way.

Então tem vários exemplos, o Grupo Espanca, a Companhia Luna Luneira, o próprio Galpão teve experiências de escrita colaborativa com Luiz Alberto de Abreu, lá de São Paulo.

Então tanto na escola quanto nas minhas primeiras experiências, quase tudo era muito feito colaborativamente.

So, both at school and in my early experiences, almost everything was done very collaboratively.

Então eu tive um longo tempo de experimentação disso, o que que era escrever a partir de um improviso, o que que era ter que editar ou rearranjar textos de outros atores e atrizes.

So I had a long time experimenting with this, what it was to write from an improvisation, what it was to have to edit or rearrange texts from other actors and actresses.

Toda essa dramaturgia que vai se dando em sala de ensaio mesmo, de um modo muito coletivo e num fluxo muito dinâmico, onde você tem que mediar e administrar muitos desejos, muitas propostas e ver o que que surge dali.

All this dramaturgy that happens in the rehearsal room, in a very collective manner and in a very dynamic flow, where you have to mediate and manage many desires, many proposals, and see what emerges from that.

Que é uma experiência bastante rica.

It is a very enriching experience.

Ao longo dos anos eu acho que eu fui também me permitindo aos poucos o trabalho mais individual.

E eu acho que isso também é muito bom em termos de crescimento também de um dramaturgo.

Aí outras coisas se defrontam.

E também são tão ricas quanto.
