Once upon a time, there was a girl named Little Red Riding Hood.

Ela assim era chamada porque usava um gorro vermelho na cabeça

She was called that because she wore a red hood on her head.

Um certo dia a mamãe de Chapeuzinho Vermelho entregou uma cesta contendo frutas, bolo

One day, Little Red Riding Hood's mother gave her a basket containing fruits and cake.

E o que contém aí nessa cesta? Doces, frutas e bolo

And what’s in that basket? Sweets, fruits, and cake.

Aí o lobo mau já ficou todo empolgado

Then the big bad wolf got all hyped up.

Aí disse, Chapeuzinho Vermelho, por que você também não pega essas flores e leva para a vovozinha?

Then said Little Red Riding Hood, why don't you also pick those flowers and take them to grandma?

Ela toda inocente foi colher as flores também para levar para a vovozinha

She, all innocent, went to pick the flowers to take to grandma too.

O lobo mau mais esperto foi correndo

The cleverest big bad wolf ran.

Correndo para a casa da vovozinha

Running to grandma's house

Chegando lá, bateu na porta e a vovozinha fraca perguntou, quem é?

Upon arriving there, she knocked on the door and the weak grandmother asked, who is it?

He replied, it's me grandma, Little Red Riding Hood.

Immediately he entered, took grandma, locked her in the cupboard, and lay down in grandma's place.

When Little Red Riding Hood arrived, she found the big bad wolf in place of her grandmother.

E aí ela achou estranho e perguntou

And then she found it strange and asked.

Nossa vovozinha, que orelha tão grande é para te ouvir melhor

Our little grandmother, what big ears you have to hear you better.

Que mãos tão grande para te tocar melhor

What big hands to touch you better.

E que boca tão grande para te comer

What a big mouth to eat you.

E levantou e saiu correndo atrás da vovozinha na floresta

And he got up and ran after Grandma in the forest.

Chegando na floresta um caçador que já estava à procura do lobo

Arriving in the forest was a hunter who was already looking for the wolf.

Conseguiu pegar o lobo mau e resgatou

You managed to catch the big bad wolf and rescued it.

E aí ela queria saber onde tinha deixado a vovozinha

And then she wanted to know where she had left the little grandmother.

E o lobo acabou confessando

And the wolf ended up confessing.

E aí foram todos para a casa da vovozinha comer a cesta com os bolos e as frutas

And then they all went to grandma's house to eat the basket with the cakes and the fruits.

E ficaram felizes para sempre

And they lived happily ever after.
