Tito capítulo 2, versículo 11 diz assim, porque a graça de Deus se há manifestado

Titus chapter 2, verse 11 says this: for the grace of God has appeared.

Existe uma verdade prática nisso aí, porque por meio da morte expiadora de Cristo,

a graça de Deus manifestou-se aos homens trazendo-lhes plena salvação.

The grace of God has manifested to mankind bringing them full salvation.

Romanos capítulo 6, versículo 1 ao 7 diz, o que diremos pois?

Romans chapter 6, verses 1 to 7 says, what shall we say then?

Permaneceremos no pecado para que a graça seja mais abundante?

Shall we remain in sin so that grace may abound more?

O que o apóstolo Paulo diz aos romanos?

What does the apostle Paul say to the Romans?

Será que se nós pecarmos cada vez mais, a graça se abunde sobre nossas vidas?

Will we receive more grace in our lives if we sin more and more?

Aí Paulo mesmo responde, de modo nenhum.

Then Paulo himself replies, no way.

Então, nós que estamos mortos para o pecado, aquele que se batizou nas águas e aceitou

So, we who are dead to sin, he who was baptized in the waters and accepted

Jesus Cristo e começou a fazer parte da igreja, agora está morto para o pecado.

Como ainda viveremos nele?

Paulo continua, olha o que Paulo diz, de modo nenhum.

Olha só, ou não sabeis que todos quantos fomos batizados em Jesus Cristo, fomos batizados

na sua morte, ou seja, morremos junto com ele para o pecado.

Primeira, o homem é salvo mediante a graça, e esse é fato.

Segundo, a graça não autoriza o crente a pecar, para que seja manifestada com mais

Vamos compreender um pouco mais a graça.

A graça de Deus é dinâmica, não somente salva, mas vivifica aqueles que estão destruídos

The grace of God is dynamic, not only saves but gives life to those who are destroyed.

É uma capacitação através da graça também.

It is a training through grace as well.

Romanos mostra que a vida cristã requer santidade.

Romans shows that the Christian life requires holiness.

Na igreja, em Roma, muitos acreditavam que a salvação é pela fé.

In the church, in Rome, many believed that salvation is by faith.

Então, cada um podia fazer o que bem desejasse.

So, everyone could do whatever they wanted.

Olha só o pensamento que eles estavam.

Look at the thought they were having.

Ah, se a salvação é pela fé, eu posso fazer tudo o que eu quero.

Ah, if salvation is by faith, I can do whatever I want.

Não há lei, não há regra.

There is no law, there is no rule.

Eu só acreditar em Jesus é só ter fé nele.

I only believe in Jesus; I just have faith in Him.

Porém, Paulo, ele adverte ali.

However, Paulo, he warns there.

Então, cada um pensava.

So, everyone thought.

Podia fazer o que quisesse.

He/She could do whatever he/she wanted.

Se a lei não salva, temos algum compromisso com ela?

If the law does not save, do we have any commitment to it?

Eles perguntavam, né?

They were asking, right?

Porque se a lei não salva, que compromisso nós temos com ela?

Because if the law does not save, what commitment do we have to it?

Paulo, portanto, escreve para evitar o mal-entendido.

Paulo, therefore, writes to avoid misunderstanding.

Somos salvos pela graça, por meio da fé.

We are saved by grace, through faith.

Efésios 2, 8 ao 10.

Ephesians 2:8-10: For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

No entanto, a fé não anula a lei, mas a estabelece.

However, faith does not annul the law, but establishes it.

Isso é escrito em Romanos, capítulo 3, versículo 30 ao 31.

This is written in Romans, chapter 3, verses 30 to 31.

Mas existe aquela contestação.

But there is that challenge.

Havia duas correntes antibíblicas no período apostólico que procuravam contestar a doutrina da graça.

There were two anti-biblical currents in the apostolic period that sought to contest the doctrine of grace.

Que era o legalismo e o antionomismo.

What was legalism and antinomianism.

O legalismo, segundo este, só se adquire a salvação e a excelência moral mediante a lei mosaica.

Legalism, according to this, can only achieve salvation and moral excellence through the Mosaic law.

Esse sistema, defendido por certos judeus cristãos em Roma,

This system, defended by certain Christian Jews in Rome,

ensinavam que a justificação era decorrente da lei mosaica.

They taught that justification was derived from the Mosaic law.

Romanos, capítulo 3, versículo 27 ao 31.

Romans, chapter 3, verses 27 to 31.

E Gálatas, capítulo 3, versículo 4.

And Galatians, chapter 3, verse 4.

Mas Paulo os exorta acerca disto.

But Paul exhorts them about this.

Paulo vai contra o legalismo.

Paul goes against legalism.

Nenhuma carne será justificada diante dele pelas obras da lei.

No flesh will be justified before him by the works of the law.

Romanos, capítulo 3, versículo 20.

Romans, chapter 3, verse 20.

Olha o que Paulo faz.

Look at what Paulo does.

Paulo, vendo que existiam alguns cristãos legalistas,

Paul, seeing that there were some legalistic Christians,

que acreditavam que a lei salvava,

that believed the law would save,

ele vem e exorta.

he comes and exhorts.

E diz que nenhuma carne será justificada diante dele pelas obras da lei.

And it says that no flesh will be justified before him by the works of the law.

Só que tem o 2.

But there's the 2.

São duas correntes antibíblicas.

There are two anti-biblical currents.

Tinha o 2.

It had the 2.

Antionomismos.

Antinomianism.

O termo significa contrário à lei.

The term means contrary to the law.

Os antionomismos, ou antionomianos,

The antinomianisms, or antinomians,

acreditavam que podiam viver no pecado e, ainda assim,

they believed that they could live in sin and still,

estarem livres da condenação eterna.

to be free from eternal damnation.

Romanos, capítulo 6, versículo 1, versículo 7.

Romans, chapter 6, verse 1, verse 7.

Segundo os adeptos desta teoria,

According to the supporters of this theory,

uma vez que o homem foi justificado pela fé em Cristo,

once man has been justified by faith in Christ,

nenhuma obrigação moral é necessária agora.

No moral obligation is necessary now.

O apóstolo os persuade e diz

The apostle persuades them and says

Porque vós, irmãos, fossem chamados à liberdade,

For you, brothers, were called to freedom,

não useis então da liberdade para dar ocasião à carne.

Do not use your freedom then to give occasion to the flesh.

Tinha o legalismo e o antionomismo.

It had legalism and antinomianism.

O legalismo dizia que isso era a lei que salvava.

Legalism said that this was the law that saved.

O antinomismo dizia que a graça salvava e que eles podiam ficar no pecado.

Antinomianism said that grace saves and that they could remain in sin.

E Paulo adverte os dois.

And Paul warns the two.

Paulo entra no meio dos dois e diz

Paulo steps in between the two and says.

Olha, com certeza, o legalismo, a lei, ela não salva.

Look, for sure, legalism, the law, it does not save.

Nenhuma carne será justificada diante de Deus pelas obras da lei.

No flesh will be justified before God by the works of the law.

Isso é verdade.

That is true.

Porém, a graça não quer dizer que você tem que viver no pecado.

However, grace does not mean that you have to live in sin.

E Paulo desorda.

And Paulo disobeys.

Porque vós, irmãos, fossem chamados à liberdade,

For you, brothers, were called to freedom,

não useis essa liberdade para dar ocasião à carne.

do not use this freedom to give occasion to the flesh.

Ah, eu sou livre em Cristo, eu posso fazer o que eu quiser e tal.

Ah, I am free in Christ, I can do whatever I want and such.

Não.

No.

Paulo adverte eles a não fazer isso aí.

Paulo warns them not to do that.

A graça também tem os seus relacionamentos.

Grace also has its relationships.

Os relacionamentos da graça.

The relationships of grace.

A graça e justificação.

Grace and justification.

Romanos 3, 24, 5, 18

Romans 3:24, 5:18

A graça de Deus garante gratuitamente a justificação em Cristo Jesus

The grace of God guarantees justification in Christ Jesus freely.

através da morte expiatória de Cristo.

through the atoning death of Christ.

A graça manifestou-se aos homens garantindo-lhes a justificação e a vida eterna.

Grace has been manifested to men, assuring them justification and eternal life.

Essa é a graça e a justificação.

This is grace and justification.

Mas a graça tem também o relacionamento com a redenção.

But grace also has a relationship with redemption.

Segundo as Escrituras, a graça de Deus se há manifestado trazendo salvação a todos os homens.

Cristo trouxe-nos completa redenção.

Christ brought us complete redemption.

1 Coríntios 1, 30

Comprou a todos com o seu sangue.

Redimiu-nos da maldição da lei e dos nossos pecados.

E por meio do Espírito selou-nos para um dia da redenção, segundo as riquezas da graça.

And through the Spirit, He sealed us for the day of redemption, according to the riches of grace.

Olha os relacionamentos da graça.

Look at the relationships of grace.

Relacionamento com a justificação.

Relationship with justification.

Relacionamento com a redenção.

Relationship with redemption.

E o relacionamento com a purificação.

And the relationship with purification.

Graça e purificação.

Grace and purification.

Tito 2, 11-14

Titus 2:11-14

A graça salvadora não apenas ensina os homens a renunciarem à vil concupiscência,

The saving grace not only teaches men to renounce vile desires,

à impiedade e às mazelas morais da sociedade rebelada contra Deus,

to the wickedness and moral ills of the society rebelling against God,

mas também capacita o crente a viver

but also empowers the believer to live

sóbria, justa e piamente no presente século.

sober, just, and piously in the present century.

Vejamos o que se deve esperar, irmãos, de alguém cheio da graça de Deus.

Let us see what we should expect, brothers, from someone filled with the grace of God.

A. Evitar a impiedade.

A. Avoid wickedness.

A impiedade de uma categoria de pecado que se opõe à piedade.

The impiety of a category of sin that opposes piety.

Logo, inclui tudo o que a pessoa faz sem considerar a Deus e as suas leis morais.

So, it includes everything that a person does without considering God and His moral laws.

Salmos 10, 13

Psalms 10:13

O ímpio não reconhece nem admite sua dependência de Deus.

The wicked do not recognize or admit their dependence on God.

Os pecados de impiedade incluem a blasfêmia contra Deus, a malícia, a violência e as iniquidades.

The sins of impiety include blasphemy against God, malice, violence, and iniquities.

O cristão deve rejeitar a impiedade.

The Christian must reject ungodliness.

Tito 2, 12

Titus 2:12

Pois os que negligenciam a piedade serão condenados.

For those who neglect piety will be condemned.

Essa é a palavra.

Temos que evitar as paixões mundanas também.

We must also avoid worldly passions.

Não somente evitar a impiedade, mas também evitar as paixões mundanas.

Not only to avoid ungodliness, but also to avoid worldly passions.

Ser ímpio constitui não apenas uma maneira de pensar,

Being impious is not only a way of thinking,

mas um estilo de vida específico.

but a specific lifestyle.

Os ímpios são materialistas e sensuais.

The wicked are materialistic and sensual.

2 Pedro 2, 12-14

2 Peter 2:12-14 "But these, like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed, blaspheming about matters of which they are ignorant, will also be destroyed in their destruction, suffering wrong as the wage for their wrongdoing. They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, while they feast with you. They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children!"

E buscam as coisas que condizem aos seus apetites carnais.

And they seek the things that align with their carnal desires.

Romanos 1, 18

Romans 1:18

Em lugar do reino da justiça de Deus, procuram tudo o que satisfaz os seus desejos pecaminosos, desagradáveis perante Deus.

In place of the kingdom of God's justice, they seek everything that satisfies their sinful desires, displeasing to God.

Viver também a vida sensata.

Live the sensible life as well.

Viver uma vida sensata.

Live a sensible life.

A palavra sensata no original, soforenio, quer dizer de mente sã, mente sobra ou temperante.

The sensible word in the original, soforenio, means of sound mind, sober mind, or temperate.

Este termo se refere à prudência e ao autocontrole proveniente de uma reflexão criteriosa.

This term refers to the prudence and self-control arising from careful reflection.

O temperante é alguém que não se deixa dominar pela ansiedade.

The temperate person is someone who does not let anxiety take control of them.

É alguém que pondera os seus atos e as suas respectivas consequências,

It is someone who reflects on their actions and their respective consequences,

de acordo com a palavra de Deus.

according to the word of God.

Também temos que viver justa e piedosamente.

We also have to live justly and piously.

A graça de Deus possibilita ao crente ou ao cristão uma vida justa e piedosa diante de Deus e dos homens.

The grace of God enables the believer or the Christian to live a righteous and godly life before God and men.

O termo piedoso refere-se ao cristão que é reverente a Deus e que pratica o bem em todos os seus relacionamentos.

The term pious refers to the Christian who is reverent to God and practices good in all their relationships.

2 Pedro 2, 9

2 Peter 2:9

Uma pessoa piedosa tem como centro a vontade de Deus em todos os seus caminhos.

A pious person has the will of God at the center of all their ways.

Para concluir, nesta lição aprendemos que a graça de Deus é imensurável.

To conclude, in this lesson we learned that God's grace is immeasurable.

Ela aspira, inspira e cultiva, santifica e transforma.

She aspires, inspires, and cultivates, sanctifies, and transforms.

Tudo isso vai muito além do que a lei confere, tornando a salvação da alma um empreendimento divino.

All of this goes far beyond what the law grants, making the salvation of the soul a divine undertaking.

Embora mediante a fé seja necessário a humanidade.

Although faith is necessary for humanity.

A fé seja necessária a uma resposta positiva do homem.

Faith is necessary for a positive response from man.

Efésios 2, 8-9

Nós entendemos que a graça de Deus é um favor imerecido para a sua vida.

We understand that the grace of God is an unearned favor for your life.

Que a graça tem um relacionamento com várias situações da palavra.

That grace has a relationship with various situations in the word.

Um relacionamento com a justificação, um relacionamento com a redenção e um relacionamento com a purificação.

A relationship with justification, a relationship with redemption, and a relationship with purification.

Entendemos também que existiam duas correntes.

We also understand that there were two currents.

Que hoje existem em nossos mundos atuais.

That today exist in our current worlds.

Tem aqueles cristãos que dizem que tem que ser legalista, que temos que seguir a lei.

There are those Christians who say that we have to be legalistic, that we have to follow the law.

Tem igrejas que guardam o sábado e tudo mais.

There are churches that observe the Sabbath and everything else.

E até criticam os irmãos que não guardam.

And they even criticize the brothers who do not keep it.

Isso gera uma briga e Paulo advertiu e foi contra o legalismo.

This causes a fight, and Paulo warned against legalism.

Mas também tem o outro lado da história, a outra corrente também.

But there is also the other side of the story, the other current as well.

Que era o antinomismo.

What was antinomianism.

O antinomismo.

Antinomism.

Que achava que a graça salvava de tudo.

That believed that grace saved from everything.

Que podia pecar, que agora estava livre para fazer o que quisesse porque já era salvo através da graça.

That one could sin, that now they were free to do whatever they wanted because they were already saved by grace.

E muitos jovens tem caído nessa mentira.

And many young people have fallen for this lie.

A graça salva, mas não devemos andar no pecado.

Grace saves, but we should not walk in sin.
