Não é realista esperar que o padrão estético seja somente branco.

Todos possuem um lugar de fala, pois cada um fala a partir de um lugar social.

Pessoas brancas não costumam pensar sobre o que significa ser branco,

White people do not usually think about what it means to be white,

pois debates raciais sempre são focados na negritude.

because racial debates are always focused on blackness.

Elas também não se incomodam com a ausência ou baixa intensidade de pessoas negras em espaços de poder.

They also don’t mind the absence or low intensity of black people in positions of power.

Mas em um país em que a maioria da população é negra, isso deveria ser chocante,

mas na verdade é naturalizado na sociedade.

Portanto, as pessoas brancas devem reconhecer seus privilégios para que eles não sejam naturalizados.

Pessoas acham que só porque tem pessoas pretas em suas vidas, não são racistas.

Muitas das vezes somos racistas e nem percebemos.

E por isso, temos que trabalhar isso em nós mesmos.

Muitas das vezes esses cargos vão para brancos que tiveram oportunidades.

Diferente do negro que não teve privilégio em algum, conseguiu se formar.

As mulheres negras são as últimas do estrupo no Brasil e além que eles perdem por isso o racismo somado com o machismo fazem que as mulheres negras passem por situações absurdas sendo sexualizadas ao extremo.
