Eu trabalho atualmente em duas instituições diferentes.

I currently work in two different institutions.

Trabalho pelo Estado da Bahia e trabalho pela Prefeitura Municipal de Camaçari.

I work for the State of Bahia and I work for the Municipal City Hall of Camaçari.

E os dois trabalhos são na comunidade de Arembepe, na Orla, no litoral norte.

And the two jobs are in the Arembepe community, on the coast, in the northern seaside.

E você lembra do seu primeiro dia em sala de aula?

And do you remember your first day in the classroom?

E como que você tem desenvolvido a sua linguagem de ensino? Como que você desenvolveu ela?

And how have you developed your teaching language? How did you develop it?

No primeiro dia de aula, eu tive que conhecer a comunidade.

On the first day of class, I had to get to know the community.

É impossível adaptar a linguagem de ensino sem conhecer a comunidade.

It is impossible to adapt the language of instruction without knowing the community.

Então, a primeira coisa para adaptar uma linguagem é conhecer as pessoas com as quais você vai trabalhar.

So, the first thing to adapting a language is to know the people you will be working with.

E a segunda coisa para adaptar a linguagem de ensino é conhecer as pessoas com as quais você vai trabalhar.

And the second thing to adapt the language of teaching is to know the people you will be working with.

Sabemos que a comunicação possui um lugar de destaque nas relações, principalmente sendo professora.

We know that communication holds a prominent place in relationships, especially as a teacher.

Nos dias de hoje, em que existe uma facilidade maior de haver ruídos na comunicação,

por conta da atenção dividida com os celulares dos alunos,

como fazer para fixar a atenção dos mais velhos e mais novos no que está sendo apresentado em sala?

Com os mais novos, eu gosto de fazer uma relação da linguagem informal, muito utilizada no celular,

com a linguagem formal, que é o que eles precisam desenvolver na escola, e fazer uma breve comparação.

A gente já fez assim várias vezes, até mesmo um glossário do que significa cada palavra que são usadas por eles

E assim, como abreviaturas, que se escreve muito VC, e aí a gente colocando VC no celular pode,

VC no texto escolar não pode, e tantas outras abreviaturas que a gente vê que se torna a linguagem informal.

You can't use "VC" in school texts, and there are so many other abbreviations that we see that turn into informal language.

Então, é o momento da gente dialogar o que é que pode ser utilizado na linguagem informal

Essa adaptação e busca do interesse do aluno, isso é feito na conquista da sala de aula.

E como você tem feito para driblar as dificuldades de comunicação com os alunos,

Que limitam o acesso desses alunos.

E o que diria para professores que ainda estão tentando se adaptar e fazer o melhor trabalho nessa nova rotina virtual?
