But it's Friday, not even Monday.

O toque faz muita falta todos os dias, ainda mais nesse período de pandemia que a gente está vivendo.

The touch is greatly missed every day, especially during this pandemic period we are living through.

E eu acho muito estranho quando a gente vê uma pessoa na rua, assim, aquele amigo, aquele conhecido, aquela pessoa que estudou com a gente.

And I find it very strange when we see a person on the street, like that friend, that acquaintance, that person who studied with us.

E a gente passa por ela na rua, de esbarrar com essas pessoas na rua, mas não poder abraçar.

And we pass by her on the street, bumping into these people on the street, but not being able to hug.

O afeto faz falta porque é a consolidação do amor.

Affection is necessary because it is the consolidation of love.

E essa consolidação se dá através do toque, do sentir, do abraçar.

And this consolidation happens through touch, feeling, and embracing.

E esse toque é essencial para o ser humano.

And this touch is essential for the human being.

Não poder tocar outra pessoa, sentir o calor da pele dela me faz pensar em todas as vezes que tivemos a oportunidade de nos encontrar, e apenas ignoramos.

Not being able to touch another person, to feel the warmth of their skin makes me think of all the times we had the opportunity to meet and just ignored it.

Time stopped.

O toque faz falta porque é por causa dele que a gente se sente vivo, que a gente se sente parte de alguma coisa.

Touch is essential because it is through it that we feel alive, that we feel part of something.

E não tê-lo é como se tirassem a nossa humanidade, e como ela tem feito falta nos últimos tempos.

And not having it is like having our humanity taken away, and how it has been lacking in recent times.

Que exerce certa função de nos aproximar física e sentimentalmente

That performs a certain function of bringing us closer physically and emotionally.

Nesse momento onde a gente tem que se distanciar cada vez mais

O calor humano acaba fazendo muita falta

The world is in the windows and on the screens of cell phones and TVs.

Então a falta do toque também é a falta de sentido de alguma forma

Pensar que as pessoas se apegam em coisas

E isso é tipo absurdo pra mim
