Isso acontece porque a nossa mente, além da definição de como vai realizar aquela tarefa específica que tem ali pela frente,

Não quer dizer que vai dar 100% certo aquilo que você vai fazer, mas você já consegue traçar boa parte do caminho,

It doesn't mean that what you are going to do will work out 100%, but you can already outline a good part of the way.

definir boa parte do caminho, e aí reduz bastante as decisões que você vai ter que tomar e já direciona bastante,

o caminho, o sentido que a sua vida vai tomar.

Então, por que não dividir para conquistar? Por que não definir o que você quer conquistar?

Uma analogia que eu gosto bastante é de que a nossa vida é como um veículo que está em uma estrada.

An analogy that I really like is that our life is like a vehicle on a road.

Alguém tem que estar dirigindo. Se ninguém estiver dirigindo, ele corre o risco de ir para qualquer lugar aleatoriamente,

Someone has to be driving. If no one is driving, it risks going anywhere randomly.

ou pior ainda, até mesmo de se acidentar, sair da estrada.

or even worse, to have an accident, to go off the road.

E o ideal é que você esteja dirigindo esse veículo.

And ideally, you should be driving this vehicle.

O momento que você faz um planejamento, você vai fazer um planejamento, você vai fazer um planejamento, você vai fazer um planejamento,

Aí você pode dizer, tá bom Leandro, mas como é que eu faço isso? Tem um método para fazer isso?

Fica bem mais fácil quando você tem ali um caminho, uma receita para seguir.

E uma forma simples de você fazer isso, eu já quero compartilhar com você,

basta você sentar com calma, foque somente nisso, mas comece definindo quais são os seus objetivos,

just sit down calmly, focus only on this, but start by defining what your goals are,

de uma forma bem geral, bem ampla mesmo, o que você quer alcançar.

In a very general, broad way, what do you want to achieve?

E uma vez que você definiu esses objetivos, você vai quebrá-los em metas, por quê?

And once you have defined those objectives, you will break them down into goals, why?

O objetivo é grande demais para ser alcançado direto, quando você quebra ele em metas, fica mais possível.

The goal is too large to be reached directly; when you break it down into smaller targets, it becomes more achievable.

E depois você vai traçar, tá bom, de que forma que eu alcanço essas metas, que estratégia eu vou alcançar,

And then you will outline, okay, how I will achieve these goals, what strategy I will use to reach them,

vou utilizar para alcançar essas metas, você define as estratégias e por fim, você vai definir o que você vai estar fazendo,

I will use to achieve these goals, you define the strategies and finally, you will define what you will be doing.

todo dia, com o que você vai estar se envolvendo todo dia, para poder alcançar essas metas, através da estratégia que você definiu.

Every day, with what you will be engaging in every day, in order to achieve these goals, through the strategy you have defined.

Não é tão complicado assim, à medida que você vai começando a desenhar, você vai vendo como é possível,

It's not that complicated; as you start drawing, you'll see how possible it is.

como isso ajuda você a, de fato, chegar onde você quer, aonde você mesmo definiu que queria chegar,

how does this help you to actually get to where you want, to where you yourself defined you wanted to go,

e não deixou que aleatoriamente outras pessoas ou situações definissem isso.

and did not allow random other people or situations to define that.

E como eu disse, vale a pena, vale muito a pena.

And as I said, it is worth it, it is very worth it.
