Eu vou fazer a leitura, eu peço aos irmãos que acompanhem em suas bíblias.

I will read, and I ask the brethren to follow along in their Bibles.

Esperai-me, pois, a mim, diz o Senhor, no dia em que eu me levantar para o despojo,

Wait for me, says the Lord, on the day when I rise for plunder,

porque a minha resolução é ajuntar as nações e congregar os reinos,

because my resolution is to gather the nations and unite the kingdoms,

para sobre eles fazer cair a minha maldição e todo o furor da minha ira,

to unleash my curse upon them and all the fury of my wrath,

pois toda esta terra será devorada pelo fogo do meu zelo.

for all this land will be devoured by the fire of my zeal.

Então darei lábios puros aos povos, para que todos invoquem o nome do Senhor

So I will give pure lips to the peoples, so that all may call on the name of the Lord.

e o sirvam de comum acordo.

and serve it by mutual agreement.

Da lei...

Of the law...

Além dos rios da Etiópia, os meus adoradores, que constituem a filha da minha dispersão,

Besides the rivers of Ethiopia, my worshipers, who make up the daughter of my dispersion,

me trarão sacrifícios.

they will bring me sacrifices.

Naquele dia não te envergonharás de nenhuma das tuas obras com que te rebelaste contra mim.

On that day, you will not be ashamed of any of your works with which you rebelled against me.

Então tirarei do meio de ti os que exultam na sua soberba

Then I will remove from your midst those who exult in their pride.

e tu nunca mais te ensoberbecerás no meu santo monte.

and you will never again be arrogant on my holy mountain.

Mas deixarei no meio de ti um povo modesto e humilde, que confia em o nome do Senhor.

But I will leave in the midst of you a meek and humble people, who trust in the name of the Lord.

Os restantes de Israel não cometerão iniquidade, nem proferirão mentira,

The remnant of Israel will not commit iniquity, nor will they speak lies,

e na sua boca não se achará língua enganosa, porque serão apacentados.

And in your mouth, there will be no deceitful tongue, because they will be shepherded.

Deitar-se-ão e não haverá quem os espante.

They will lie down, and there will be no one to frighten them.

Canta, ó filha de Sião.

Sing, O daughter of Zion.

Rejubila, ó Israel.

Rejoice, O Israel.

Regozija-te e de todo o coração exulta, ó filha de Jerusalém.

Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

O Senhor afastou as sentenças que eram contra ti e lançou fora o teu inimigo.

The Lord has removed the judgments that were against you and cast out your enemy.

O rei de Israel, o Senhor está no meio de ti.

The king of Israel, the Lord is in your midst.

Tu já não verás mal algum.

You will no longer see any evil.

Naquele dia se dirá a Jerusalém,

On that day it will be said to Jerusalem,

Não temas, ó Sião, não se afrouxem os teus braços.

Fear not, O Zion, let not your hands be weak.

O Senhor, teu Deus, está no meio de ti, poderoso para salvarte.

The Lord, your God, is in the midst of you, mighty to save you.

Ele se deleitará em ti com alegria.

He will delight in you with joy.

Renovar-te-á no seu amor, regozijar-se-á em ti com júbilo.

He will renew you in His love, He will rejoice over you with gladness.

Os que estão entristecidos,

Those who are saddened,

por se acharem afastados das festas solenes,

for feeling distant from the solemn festivities,

eu os congregarei,

I will gather them,

estes que são de ti e sobre os quais pesam opróbrios.

these who are yours and about whom there are reproaches.

Eis que naquele tempo procederei contra todos os que te afligem,

Behold, at that time I will deal with all who oppress you,

salvarei os que cocheiam e recolherei os que foram expulsos.

I will save the lame and gather those who were cast out.

E farei deles um louvor e um nome em toda a terra,

And I will make them a praise and a name in all the earth,

em que sofrerem ignomínia.

in which they suffered ignominy.

Naquele tempo, eu vos farei voltar e vos recolherei.

At that time, I will bring you back and gather you.

Certamente, farei de vós um nome e um louvor entre todos os povos da terra,

Certainly, I will make for you a name and a praise among all the peoples of the earth,

quando eu vos mudar a sorte diante dos vossos olhos, diz o Senhor.

"When I change your fortune before your eyes, says the Lord."

Amém.

Amen.

Oremos.

Let us pray.

Pai bendito, Pai amado,

Blessed Father, beloved Father,

te louvamos a Deus.

We praise God.

Pela tua palavra, Pai.

By your word, Father.

Palavra esta que é santa, é viva e eficaz.

Word that is holy, is alive and powerful.

Palavra que é fiel, é verdadeira.

A word that is faithful is true.

E que anuncia o poder e a majestade do Senhor.

And it announces the power and majesty of the Lord.

Anuncia, certamente, a ira do Senhor contra toda a iniquidade.

It surely announces the Lord's wrath against all iniquity.

Mas anuncia, também, a grande misericórdia do Senhor para com o teu povo.

But it also announces the great mercy of the Lord towards your people.

É por isso, ó Deus, que nós te rendemos graças.

That is why, O God, we give you thanks.

Porque conseguimos, ó Deus,

Because we can, O God,

vislumbrar, ó Pai, a glória do Evangelho,

to glimpse, O Father, the glory of the Gospel,

a beleza e a obra da pessoa de Cristo Jesus em nosso favor,

the beauty and the work of the person of Christ Jesus on our behalf,

por meio da tua santa palavra.

through your holy word.

Dá-nos, ó Deus, entendimento da mesma.

Give us, O God, understanding of it.

Te rogamos, ó Deus, inclusive, sobre este que expõe as Sagradas Escrituras.

We beseech You, O God, also regarding this one who exposes the Holy Scriptures.

Que o Senhor use-o, ó Deus, apesar das suas debilidades,

May the Lord use him, O God, despite his weaknesses,

apesar das suas limitações.

despite your limitations.

Que o Senhor use, ó Deus, o teu servo para edificação da tua igreja.

May the Lord use, O God, your servant for the edification of your church.

Para edificação da sua própria alma.

For the building up of your own soul.

Que o Senhor, assim, ó Deus, haja com graça e misericórdia

May the Lord, thus, oh God, act with grace and mercy.

para tantos quantos ouvirem a pregação da Sagrada Palavra do Senhor.

for as many as hear the preaching of the Holy Word of the Lord.

É o que nós te pedimos, ó Pai querido, confiando e crendo.

It is what we ask of you, dear Father, trusting and believing.
