É, isso aí, porque a gente sabe que ao longo do tempo o nosso corpo tem muitas alterações, né?

E principalmente nessa região, o Gabi também pode falar, a gente vai envelhecendo ali e vai sim ficando com uma alteração

As mulheres não conseguem nem olhar no espelho essa região.

Até mesmo meio cultural, assim, né? Porque não é uma coisa, assim, que ninguém te ensina, né?

Tipo, assim, eu tá ali no teu corpo, mas não é, assim, uma coisa que, ah, eu vou acessar a minha musculatura íntima, né?

Então, é aí que entra a Gabi como profissional, assim, no sentido de ajudar a tu te conhecer realmente, né?

Eu conheci a Gabi, então, antes da minha segunda gestação.

Na primeira gestação, eu nem fazia ideia do que era isso.

In my first pregnancy, I had no idea what it was.

Antes da minha segunda gestação, assim, e eu posso dizer, assim, que foi uma experiência, de fato, assim, que agregou, inclusive, no meu casamento, sabe?

Before my second pregnancy, well, I can say that it was an experience, in fact, that added to my marriage, you know?

Que a experiência deu me conhecer mesmo no meu corpo, tipo, eu hoje, no auge dos meus 34 anos.

That the experience allowed me to know myself even in my body, like, today, at the peak of my 34 years.

De fato, assim, a mulher, no sentido dessa musculatura, te ajudar até mesmo, assim, na tua relação com o teu parceiro, com o teu marido, parceiro, né?

Então, fala pra nós, assim, Gabi, qual é o ideal de começar, qual a frequência, quais as indicações, como é a tua avaliação?

Então, existe uma certa polêmica, digamos assim.

Em relação a quando começar a fisioterapia pélvica, né?

A maioria começa a partir do segundo trimestre, né?

Most start from the second trimester, right?

A partir ali das 14, 16 semanas.

Mas as orientações, né, do colégio americano, enfim, é que a gestante comece a se movimentar o quanto antes, né?

But the guidance, you know, from the American college, anyway, is that the pregnant woman should start moving as soon as possible, right?

Então, assim, o que a gente tem que pensar é, ah, era uma mulher extremamente sedentária,

que tem alguns riscos pra gestação, a gente prefere esperar um pouquinho ali o primeiro trimestre.

Pensando na preparação, não é só pra preparação do parto, mas é para a gestação, né?

Porque, independente da via de parto, o teu corpo vai sofrer alterações, né?

Ele tá mais ou menos pelo umbigo, então ele vai lá pra frente.

Então, tu vai ter alterações posturais, né?

O teu corpo, ele vai ter que se adaptar a essa nova realidade.

Então, tudo isso faz com que a gente precise ir preparando esse corpo pra ter menos dores,

Os objetivos principais da fisioterapia pélvica, então, é a diminuição da dor, a preparação do corpo, a diminuição da dor.

The main objectives of pelvic physiotherapy are therefore the reduction of pain, the preparation of the body, and the reduction of pain.

O que mais, assim, tu fala, Gabi?

A gente vai trabalhando de acordo com as queixas da paciente também, né?

We work according to the patient's complaints as well, right?

Então, ela vem, uma gestante que trabalha o dia inteiro sentada na frente de um computador,

So, she comes, a pregnant woman who works all day sitting in front of a computer,

ela vai, provavelmente, ter dores lombares, ter as dores psiquiátricas, o quadril.

She is likely to have lower back pain, psychiatric pain, hip pain.

Tem gestante que passa o dia inteiro em pé, caminhando.

Some pregnant women spend the whole day standing or walking.

Então, aquece com dor articular, às vezes, dor no joelho.

So, it heats up with joint pain, sometimes knee pain.

Enfim, a gente vai de acordo com a necessidade de cada uma.

Anyway, we go according to the needs of each one.

Nessa avaliação, então, tu vai pegar os objetivos e as necessidades, né?

In this assessment, then, you will take the objectives and the needs, right?

Isso. E de acordo com o que ela faz, se ela trabalha, se ela já faz alguma outra atividade física ou não.

Então, a gente vai adaptando, vai orientando, né?

Quem faz musculação, por exemplo, pode continuar com a musculação, a gente evita alguns exercícios, né?

E aí, a partir da avaliação, nas primeiras semanas, na verdade, até umas 30 semanas ali,

pra prevenir diástase, né?

Que é aquela separação do músculo abdominal.

A diástase é fisiológica na agitação, ela pode acontecer porque o bebê precisa de espaço pra crescer.

Diastasis is physiological during agitation; it can happen because the baby needs space to grow.

Mas a gente tenta controlar, né?

But we try to control it, right?

E se precisar reabilitar, é só depois do parto.

And if you need to rehabilitate, it's only after the delivery.

Quanto tempo depois?

How long after?

A diástase a gente começa ali depois que passou a quarentena, né?

The diastasis starts for us there after the quarantine, right?

Ali depois dos 30, 40 dias, normalmente.

There after 30, 40 days, normally.

A gente pode fazer uma avaliação melhor.

We can do a better evaluation.

A maioria volta, né?

A maioria das minhas pacientes, elas querem parto normal.

Most of my patients want natural childbirth.

Por isso que elas vêm, né?

São poucas as que chegam e dizem, não, eu quero cesárea.

There are few who come and say, no, I want a cesarean.

Porque a fisioterapia pélvica, ela ainda tá muito ligada ao parto normal, né?

Because pelvic physiotherapy is still very much associated with natural childbirth, right?

Mas, como a gente falou, não precisa ser para o parto normal.

But, as we talked about, it doesn't have to be for a normal delivery.

Tem todas essas coisas que a gente pode trabalhar, né?

There are all these things we can work on, right?

Independente da via de parto.

Regardless of the mode of delivery.

Mas, para aquelas que querem o parto normal, daí a gente faz toda a preparação também.

But for those who want a natural birth, we also do all the preparation.

Dá musculatura íntima.

It gives intimate muscle.

A gente trabalha mobilidade, como eu falei.

We work on mobility, as I mentioned.

E, na fisioterapia, a gente estuda muito o movimento do corpo.

And, in physical therapy, we study a lot about the movement of the body.

E parto é movimento, né?

And birth is movement, right?

Quem já passou por um parto normal sabe, né?

Those who have been through a natural delivery know, right?

O bebê, ele gira ali dentro para sair.

The baby turns around inside to come out.

A mulher, ela precisa se movimentar durante o trabalho de parto para acelerar o trabalho de parto.

The woman needs to move during labor to speed up the labor process.

E para ajudar nesses encaixes do bebê e na descida dele.

And to help with the baby's positioning and descent.

Então, tem posições de pé, por exemplo.

A gente tem uns nove meses ali, em média, para se preparar para esse momento.

We have about nine months there, on average, to prepare for this moment.

Gabi, por que que antigamente, no caso, as mulheres não faziam?

Gabi, why didn't women do that back in the day?
