Reflecting on the fact that before his redemption, his flesh was condemned to death by the law of God,

o apóstolo Paulo fez a confissão de fé que ele estava.

This is because the law reveals more sins that are hidden within them.

e assim faz com que tomem conhecimento de seus pecados

and thus makes them aware of their sins

and causes them to sin more and more.

One of the functions of the law is to make us recognize our sins,

If it weren't for the law that God gave us,

Mas Deus nos deu a sua lei

But God gave us His law.

and this not only makes sin more sinful,

Então a lei é pecado?

So the law is sin?

Com certeza não.

Certainly not.

Paulo explicou a lei de Deus enfatizando as suas funções.

Paulo explained God's law emphasizing its functions.

This shows how important it is to believe with understanding.

Antes, Paulo via seus pais,

And that is why he did not know his own sins.

Elas vão à igreja pensando que,

They go to church thinking that,

se tentarem um pouco,

if they try a little,

serão capazes de guardar toda a lei.

they will be able to keep the whole law.

Mas na realidade,

But in reality,

essas pessoas não serão capazes

these people will not be able

de encontrar a justiça de Deus.

Elas não perceberam o significado profundo da lei

They did not understand the deep meaning of the law.

dada por Deus e se tornaram legalistas.

given by God and became legalists.

São hipócritas cegas,

They are blind hypocrites,

incapazes de ver até mesmo seus próprios corações

unable to see even their own hearts

e não sabem que estão ficando contra a justiça de Deus

and they do not know that they are going against the justice of God

in the Christian community.

Aqueles que não conhecem verdadeiramente a justiça de Deus

Those who do not truly know the justice of God.

e aceitaram Jesus como seu salvador nominal,

and accepted Jesus as their nominal savior,

com uma fé legalista,

não serão eximidos da punição da morte certa.

they will not be exempt from the punishment of certain death.

Paulo afirmava que,

Os mandamentos de Deus

The commandments of God

revelaram a cobiça do coração de Paulo

they revealed the greed of Paulo's heart

e tornaram seus pecados ainda mais graves.

and made their sins even more serious.

Foi assim que Paulo percebeu que não era nada,

That was how Paulo realized that he was nothing,

mas apenas um grande pecador.

but just a big sinner.

Existem doze naturezas de pecado na mente humana.

There are twelve natures of sin in the human mind.

Quando Paulo ainda não conhecia as verdadeiras funções da lei,

When Paul did not yet know the true functions of the law,

ele pensava que era uma pessoa boa,

he thought he was a good person,

não percebendo qual pecador realmente era.

not realizing what sinner he really was.

Mas o resultado deste esforço

But the result of this effort

of living by God's commandments

How are people when they believe in Jesus?

Quando você começou a crer em Jesus, deve ter sido incendiado com a sua fé,

When you started to believe in Jesus, you must have been ablaze with your faith,

mas com o passar do tempo encontrou muitos pecados que estão em você.

butover time found many sins that are in you.

Como você encontrou esses pecados?

How did you find those sins?

Por meio da lei escrita e dos mandamentos descobrimos como nossos corações estão cheios com os doze tipos de pecados.

Through written law and commandments, we discover how our hearts are filled with the twelve types of sins.

Nós não víamos os nossos próprios pecados antes da lei.

We did not see our own sins before the law.

E assim descobrimos, por meio da lei, que realmente somos grandes pecadores.

And so we discovered, through the law, that we are truly great sinners.

É por isso que muitas pessoas criaram a doutrina da justificação para confortar a si mesmas.

That is why many people created the doctrine of justification to comfort themselves.

Esta doutrina diz que apesar de nós termos pecados em nossos corações,

This doctrine says that although we have sins in our hearts,

quando cremos em Jesus, Deus nos considera justos.

When we believe in Jesus, God considers us righteous.

Esta é simplesmente uma doutrina humana.

This is simply a human doctrine.

As pessoas criaram e passaram a crer nesta doutrina para esconder seus pecados,

People created and came to believe in this doctrine to hide their sins.

trying to live in the complacency of this doctrine.

Mas porque eles ainda são revelados pecadores diônicos,

But why are they still revealed as diabolic sinners,

seus pecados pesam cada vez mais nas suas consciências.

your sins weigh more and more on your consciences.

Para sermos libertos de todos os nossos pecados,

To be freed from all our sins,

não temos escolha senão crer no evangelho que contém a justiça de Deus.

We have no choice but to believe in the gospel that contains the justice of God.

Esta é a única forma de sermos libertos de todos os nossos pecados.

This is the only way for us to be freed from all our sins.

Como Paulo no passado pensava que Deus havia dado os mandamentos a serem seguidos,

Just as Paul in the past thought that God had given the commandments to be followed,

ele também pensou que Deus havia dado os mandamentos a serem seguidos,

he also thought that God had given the commandments to be followed,

ele considerou natural tentar e fazer o melhor para guardá-los.

He considered it natural to try and do his best to keep them safe.

Mas ao contrário, ele descobriu que esses mandamentos

But on the contrary, he discovered that these commandments

Paulo finalmente compreendeu que havia entendido e crido errado nos mandamentos de Deus.

Paul finally understood that he had misunderstood and believed incorrectly in God's commandments.

Todos têm em seus corações os doze tipos de pecados mencionados em Marcos 7,

Everyone has in their hearts the twelve types of sins mentioned in Mark 7.

Porque de dentro do coração dos homens é que procedem os maus desígnios,

For from within the hearts of men come evil thoughts,

a prostituição, os furtos, os homicídios, os adultérios, a avareza, as malícias,

prostitution, thefts, homicides, adultery, greed, malice,

o dolo, a lascivia, a inveja, a blasfêmia, a soberba, a loucura.

the deceit, the lust, the envy, the blasphemy, the pride, the madness.

Ora, todos estes males vêm de dentro e contaminam o homem.

Well, all these evils come from within and contaminate man.

Paulo e todas as outras pessoas reconheceram seus pecados por meio dos mandamentos de Deus.

Paulo and all the other people recognized their sins through God's commandments.

Pela lei, eles perceberam seus pecados e encontraram a morte.

By the law, they realized their sins and met their death.

Então, descobriram a justiça de Deus através de Jesus Cristo e creram nisso.

So, they discovered the justice of God through Jesus Christ and believed in it.

Qual é o seu entendimento sobre a justiça de Deus?

What is your understanding of God's justice?

Are you still trying to keep the commandments while thinking you can observe them?

Deus nos deu sua lei para que pudéssemos reconhecer nossos pecados e retornar a ele,

God gave us His law so that we could recognize our sins and return to Him,

para sermos libertos dos pecados, em outras palavras, pela fé na justiça de Deus.

to be freed from sins, in other words, by faith in God's righteousness.

Devemos ter um entendimento correto de porque Deus nos deu seus mandamentos e crer neles corretamente.

We must have a correct understanding of why God gave us His commandments and believe in them correctly.

Uma vez que você percebe esta verdade, saberá como é precioso o evangelho da água e do Espírito.

Once you realize this truth, you will know how precious the gospel of water and the Spirit is.

Aqueles que creem nos mandamentos de Deus podem perceber como são pecadores na visão de Deus.

Those who believe in God's commandments can recognize how sinful they are in God's eyes.

As pessoas que não conhecem o papel dos mandamentos e não creem na justiça de Deus

The people who do not understand the role of the commandments and do not believe in the justice of God.

encontrarão grandes dificuldades em suas vidas religiosas e, no final, serão guiadas para sua própria destruição.

they will face great difficulties in their religious lives and, in the end, will be led to their own destruction.

Isso porque é simplesmente impossível permanecer longe do pecado enquanto vivemos em um mundo que é cheio de pecados.

This is because it is simply impossible to stay away from sin while we live in a world that is full of sins.

É por isso que algumas pessoas se isolam em montanhas remotas e tentam ter vidas ascéticas.

That is why some people isolate themselves in remote mountains and try to lead ascetic lives.

Elas pensam que vivendo em montanhas isoladas, se escondendo dos pecados do mundo, podem evitar os pecados, mas isso não é verdade.

They think that by living in isolated mountains, hiding from the sins of the world, they can avoid sins, but that is not true.

We must realize that, although it is true that everyone in this world commits sins

And therefore, they have sins in their hearts; the redemption of all sins can be found when we know and believe in God's righteousness.

But if we avoided the world in order to escape its sins, we would still be unable to escape the sins of our hearts.

To truly escape from sin, we must believe in the gospel of water and spirit.

God's law and its commandments make our sins even more serious.

Aqueles que conhecem a severidade dos seus pecados devem conhecer e crer na justiça de Deus revelada para nós por meio do evangelho da água e do espírito.

Those who know the severity of their sins must know and believe in the justice of God revealed to us through the gospel of water and spirit.

E o mandamento que me fora para a vida, verifiquei que este mesmo se me tornou para a morte.

And the commandment that was meant for life, I found that it became death for me.

Porque o pecado, prevalecendo-se do mandamento, pelo mesmo mandamento, me enganou e me matou.

For sin, taking the opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and killed me by that same commandment.

Romanos 7, de 10 a 11

Romans 7:10-11: "And the commandment, which was intended to bring life, actually brought death. For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death."

Nós devemos ter um entendimento correto da lei.

We must have a correct understanding of the law.

Aqueles que não têm um entendimento correto da lei,

Those who do not have a correct understanding of the law,

gastarão a vida toda no legalismo, tentando escapar da lei até o seu último dia.

they will spend their whole lives in legalism, trying to escape the law until their last day.

Apenas aqueles que conhecem o verdadeiro papel da lei, amarão e crerão na justiça de Deus cumprida por Jesus.

Only those who know the true role of the law will love and believe in God's justice fulfilled by Jesus.

Você conhece a justiça de Deus?

Do you know God's justice?

O apóstolo Paulo disse que, por não ter nascido de novo no passado,

The apostle Paul said that, for not having been born again in the past,

ele pertencia à carne e estava sob o pecado.

he belonged to the flesh and was under sin.

Ele também confessou que, apesar de desejar viver pela lei de Deus,

He also confessed that, although he wishes to live by the law of God,

acabava fazendo aquilo que não queria, ou seja, cometia pecados.

I ended up doing what I didn't want, that is, I was committing sins.

Isso porque ele não tinha o Espírito Santo nele e, portanto, não tinha a justiça de Deus.

This is because he did not have the Holy Spirit in him and therefore did not have the righteousness of God.

Paulo, então, admitiu que a razão pela qual ele cometia pecados

Paulo then admitted that the reason he committed sins

ele era um pecador que só podia continuar vivendo em pecado,

he was a sinner who could only continue living in sin,

porque, não tendo ainda conhecido a Jesus Cristo, não havia recebido a redenção de seus pecados.

because, not having yet known Jesus Christ, he had not received the redemption of his sins.

Portanto, ele estava condenado à morte em razão dos seus pecados.

Therefore, he was condemned to death because of his sins.

É por isso que ele confessou que era um homem miserável, lamentando.

That's why he confessed he was a miserable man, lamenting.

Quem me livrará do corpo desta morte?

Who will deliver me from the body of this death?

Essa era a lembrança de Paulo sobre si, mesmo quando era um pecador.

This was Paulo's remembrance of himself, even when he was a sinner.

Você deve pensar em aplicar esta confissão de Paulo para você mesmo.

You should think about applying this confession of Paul to yourself.

Você ainda é prisioneiro do corpo desta morte, que não pode guardar a lei?

Are you still a prisoner of this body of death, which cannot keep the law?

Nós precisamos crer na justiça de Deus.

We need to believe in God's justice.

No evangelho da árvore do Espírito, a justiça de Deus está escondida

In the gospel of the tree of the Spirit, God's justice is hidden.

e nós podemos alcançá-la, crendo neste evangelho.

and we can reach her by believing in this gospel.

Paulo pôde ser liberto de toda a sua miséria,

Paul was able to be freed from all his misery,

crendo no batismo de Jesus Cristo e sua morte na cruz.

believing in the baptism of Jesus Christ and his death on the cross.
