Я с 2005 года работаю на кафедре МОВУ, трудовой как туда положил в 2005 году, так вот уже 16 лет и работаю.

То есть цель — готовить людей на стыке практики и науки.

Александр, скажите, как вы оказались на физтехе, как всё начиналось?

Учился в обычной школе в городе Королёв, ну, правда, город необычный, Наукоград.

I studied at an ordinary school in the city of Korolyov, well, actually, the city is unusual, a science city.

Школа с углублённым изучением английского языка и гуманитарных предметов.

Собственно, по этим предметам я как раз хуже всего и учился.

Увлекался спортом довольно так серьёзно, поэтому на учёбу как-то времени было не очень много,

Понял, что надо что-то менять.

Ну и вот начиналось всё с каких-то вот олимпиад такого невысокого уровня,

с занятиями с папой, который старался прививать мне какую-то любовь к науке, к математике, к физике.

with lessons from my dad, who tried to instill in me some love for science, for mathematics, for physics.

С факультатива в школе к нам приездил преподаватель из МГТУ имени Баумана и вот его факультатива.

From the elective at school, we had a teacher from Bauman Moscow State Technical University come to us, and this is his elective.

В конечном итоге я один на них ходил, и он ради меня ездил с другого конца.

In the end, I went to them alone, and he traveled from the other end for my sake.

Ну и, конечно, за ФТШ.

Я уже слышал, что я не первый, кто про это говорю, но это правда важно.

Ну то есть там точно брали, там был полный балл.

Или там фундаментально науке как-то так назывался.

ЕУ, это получается по информатике, программированию, да, было направление?

Она называлась традиционная.

И набрал там, не знаю, сколько-то баллов, которые давали полный балл.

And I scored, I don't know, some points there that counted as a full score.

То есть, получается, не надо было никакие там...

So, it turns out, there was no need for any...

Был выезд.

There was a trip.

Тогда не было ЕГЭ, тогда был экзамен, который надо было писать.

Back then there was no Unified State Exam; there was an exam that had to be taken.

И, кстати сказать, экзамен мне сложнее было писать, чем вот...

And by the way, it was harder for me to write the exam than...

Ну и вот физтех, получается, тоже брал без экзамена.

So, it turns out that the physics and technology institute also admitted students without an exam.

Другой я даже не подавал ничего.

Как-то тогда не было так принято, что во много мест.

Более того, мне кажется, что вот то, что у меня были какие-то сомнения,

когда, ну, открылся независимый университет,

когда на физтехе, вот на старших курсах,

when at the physicotechnical institute, in the senior years,

появилась свобода, то есть не было такой нагрузки, как на третьем,

у меня стало время, появилось, что я могу ходить, например, в МГУ на занятия.

какие-то такие отобранные специальные курсы,

some kind of selected special courses,

и можно их просто слушать вот дополнительно,

and you can just listen to them additionally,

а в физтехе всё-таки какая-то система в бакалавриате.

И вот ознакомившись с этой системой,

And having familiarized myself with this system,

потом уже на старших курсах я посещал отдельные занятия,

later, in my later years of study, I attended individual classes,

там, топология, не знаю, какие-то по вероятностным циклам,

there, topology, I don't know, some probabilistic cycles,

вот в МГУ.

И в независимом университете.

И фактически, можно сказать, что я так или иначе

Но, так сказать, пользуясь вот этими пропусками, я ходил на всё подряд.

Мне кажется, что бакалавриат физтеха

У тебя нет цели там быть, как сказать,

Это потому что не спорт всё-таки.
