Это живопись меня нашла, а не я живопись.

То есть я этим занимаюсь с детства, когда был вопрос о том, куда меня направить, на какую секцию.

Папа меня записал на баян, а я сама себя перезаписала в художественный кружок.

Dad signed me up for the button accordion, but I re-signed myself for the art club.

И ходила 8 лет в детскую школу искусств.

А потом у меня тоже был вопрос, куда поступать.

Решила поступать опять в художественный вуз, выбрала.

Жила я в городе Мирном, Архангельская область.

I lived in the city of Mirny, Arkhangelsk region.

И поехала, получается, в Питер.

And so she went to St. Petersburg.

Поступила и жила там.

She moved in and lived there.

А часто на картинах у тебя твой город?

Когда у меня была первая выставка в баре, и я спрашивала у людей их отзывы,

И мне кажется, что невозможно просто сидеть и рисовать в мастерской,

То есть для впечатлений, для каких-то сюжетов

«Out of shell», типа как в английском есть такой термин.

Ты должен выходить и смотреть на людей,

чтобы черпать какие-то новые эмоции.

to draw some new emotions.

То есть это правильно, я считаю, — работать, пробовать разные работы,

узнавать новых людей.

И... Ну, какие-то вещи.

Какие-то сюжеты появляются более интересные,

Ну, например, мне кажется, иконописцу не обязательно выходить,
