Департамент здравоохранения Москвы установил в городе три арт-объекта, где любой желающий мог подойти и прослушать пять гипоаллергенных ароматов и проголосовать за один из них.

The Moscow Department of Health has set up three art installations in the city where anyone could come and listen to five hypoallergenic fragrances and vote for one of them.

Первой моей реакцией на эту новость была, конечно же, мысль, опять они в своей Москве деньги жопой жуют.

My first reaction to this news was, of course, the thought that they are, once again, wasting money in their Moscow.

А потом я вспомнил, что запах на самом деле крайне важен для нас, как для человеков, в плане восприятия.

And then I remembered that smell is actually extremely important for us, as humans, in terms of perception.

И нет, не только в туалете, а вот в целом в квартире.

And no, not just in the bathroom, but in the apartment as a whole.

Так что идея с ароматом на самом деле мне все-таки больше нравится.

So I actually like the idea with the scent more.

И неплохо бы, похоже, как-то реализовать в общественном транспорте.

And it would be a good idea, it seems, to somehow implement it in public transport.

Нижегородский пес по кличке Кругец, которого добрые люди раскормили до невероятных ста килограмм, похудел и ищет добрые руки.

Nizhny Novgorod dog named Krugets, who was overfed by kind people to an incredible one hundred kilograms, has lost weight and is looking for a loving home.

В октябре прошлого года СМИ рассказывали о замечательном алабае Кругеце, которого хозяева выгнали на улицу.

In October of last year, the media reported about a wonderful Alabai named Krugets, whose owners threw him out onto the street.

Благо мир не без добрых людей, поэтому его стали подкармливать.

Fortunately, the world is not without good people, so they started to feed him.

Причем делали это от всей души.

Moreover, they did it with all their heart.

Пес набрал такой большой вес, что уже самостоятельно с трудом стал передвигаться.

The dog gained so much weight that he started having difficulty moving around by himself.

Из-за боли в суставах бедный Кругец целый день жил.

А ночами плохо спал.

And I slept poorly at nights.

Он даже в туалет не мог нормально сходить, бедный песель.

He couldn't even go to the bathroom properly, poor little dog.

Только и оставался что лежать и тихонько скулить.

All that was left was to lie there and quietly whimper.

В какой-то момент на него обратили внимание зоозащитники и началась прям борьба за жизнь.

At some point, animal rights activists noticed him, and a fight for his life began.

Для него подобрали рацион, чтобы он похудел.

A diet was chosen for him to help him lose weight.

Раздобыли всякие специальные корма и лекарства для больных суставов.

We obtained all sorts of special feed and medications for sick joints.

Кстати, из-за этого песеля на все процедуры анализа возили на тележке.

By the way, because of this puppy, they were taking him on a cart for all the analysis procedures.

И вот за 7 месяцев Кругец сбросил почти половину своего веса.

And so, in 7 months, Krugets lost almost half of his weight.

В конце мая он весил уже 50 кг.

А потом он стал более тяжелым.
