Луки, глава одиннадцатая, стихи девятый, тринадцатый.

Luke, chapter eleven, verses nine and thirteen.

И я скажу вам, просите, и дано будет вам, ищите и найдете, стучите, и отворят вам, ибо всякий просится.

And I will tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you, for everyone who asks receives.

Ищущий получает, и ищущий находит, и стучащему отворят.

The seeker receives, and the seeker finds, and to the one who knocks, it will be opened.

Какой из вас отец, когда сын попросит у него хлеба, подаст ему камень?

Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

Или когда попросит рыбы, подаст ему змею вместо рыбы?

Or when he asks for fish, will he give him a snake instead of fish?

Или если попросит еду?

Or if they ask for food?

Итак, если вы, будучи злы, умеете деяния благие давать детям вашим,

So if you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,

тем более Отец Небесный даст Духа Святаго, просящим у Него.

Чего бы мы ни хотели, Бог говорит, что мы должны просить об этом у Него,

Нам нужно уповать на Слово Божье

We need to rely on the Word of God.

и просить Бога обо всем, что нам нужно,

если мы действительно верим в правду Божью.

Мы нуждаемся во многом.

We need many things.

Наш Бог-Отец обещал, что Он исполнит все,

что мы у Него не попросим,

если об этом попросят те,

кто из нас, кто стали чадами Божьими.

И это правда.

Просите, и дано будет вам

We should think about which door we should knock on.

Мы должны стучаться в Божью дверь

Божье дело не становится явным,
