Благословен Бог и Отец Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, благословивший нас во Христе всяким духовным благословением в небесах,
Blessed be God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,

В Нем мы и сделались наследниками,
In Him we became heirs,
был предназначен к тому по определению совершающего все по изволению воли своей,
was intended for that by definition of one who does everything at his own will,
дабы послужить к похвале славы Его нам, которые ранее уповали на Христа.
in order to serve for the praise of His glory to us, who had previously hoped in Christ.
В нем и вы, услышав слово истины, благовествование вашего спасения,
In him also you, having heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation,
и уверовав в Него, запечатлены обетованным Святым Духом, который есть залог наследия нашего,
and believing in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, which is the guarantee of our inheritance,
для искупления удела Его, в похвалу славы Его.
for the redemption of His inheritance, to the praise of His glory.
Посему и я, услышав о вашей вере во Христа Иисуса и о любви ко всем святым,
Therefore, I also, having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints,
непрестанно благодарю за вас, Бога.
I constantly thank God for you.
Вспоминаю.
I remember.
Вспоминаю о вас в молитвах моих, чтобы Бог, Господа нашего Иисуса Христа,
I remember you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Отец Славы, дал вам Духа Премудрости и Откровения к познанию Его,
The Father of Glory has given you the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Him.
и просветил очи сердца вашего, дабы вы познали, в чем состоит надежда призвания Его,
and enlightened the eyes of your heart, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling,
и какое богатство славного наследия Его.
and what a wealth of His glorious heritage.
И как безмерно величие могущества Его в нас, верующих по действию державной силы Его,
And how immeasurable is the greatness of His power in us who believe according to the working of His mighty strength,
которую Он воздействовал во Христе, воскресив Его из мертвых и посадив одесную Себя на небесах,
which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
превыше всякого начальства и власти и силы.
above all principality and power and might.
И Господство, и всякого имени, именуемого не только всем веке, но и в будущем,
And the dominion, and every name that is named not only in this age, but also in the one to come,
и все покорил под ноги Его, и поставил Его выше всего, главою Церкви,
and He conquered everything, and placed Him above all, as the head of the Church,
которая есть тело Его, полнота наполняющего все во всем.
which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

God wanted to accept all people as His children,

And to achieve this, he spoke about salvation,

This means that God the Father intended to create us,
Своих собственных детей, через Евангелие воды и Духа,
Their own children, through the Gospel of water and Spirit,

manifested by His Son Jesus Christ.

Therefore, we, first of all,

must realize that every spiritual blessing in the heavens,

And when the time came, God the Father accomplished

Our salvation is in Jesus Christ through the Gospel truth of water and Spirit.

Why did God want to make us His children?
Ответ на этот вопрос таков, что Бог Отец избрал нас
The answer to this question is that God the Father has chosen us.
в Своем Сыне Иисусе Христе, чтобы полностью нас спасти
in His Son Jesus Christ, in order to save us completely
через Евангелие воды и Духа.
through the Gospel of water and the Spirit.
Как мы знаем, личинка должна пройти через метаморфоз,
As we know, the larva must undergo metamorphosis,
чтобы превратиться в муху или цикаду,
to turn into a fly or a cicada,
так же, как и гусеница в бабочку.
just like a caterpillar into a butterfly.
Таким же путем люди могут стать Божьими детьми,
In the same way, people can become children of God,
только если они примут прощение грехов,
only if they accept the forgiveness of sins,
уверовав в Евангелие воды и Духа,
having believed in the Gospel of water and the Spirit,
и таким образом родятся свыше, превратившись в Божьих людей.
And thus they will be born from above, transforming into God's people.
Это потому, что все мы по природе родились грешниками,
That's because we were all born sinners by nature,
и единственный путь для нас –
and the only way for us is –
стать Божьими детьми – это вера в Евангелие воды и Духа.
To become God's children is to have faith in the Gospel of water and Spirit.
Конечная цель нашей веры в евангельскую истину о воде и Духе
The ultimate goal of our faith in the gospel truth about water and Spirit.
состоит в том, чтобы обрести спасение от всех наших грехов
is to attain salvation from all our sins
и стать Божьими детьми.
and become God's children.

From the moment we were born,
мы родились в этом мире слабыми и немощными,
we were born into this world weak and frail,

in this world with weak and feeble people,

who could not refrain from sin,

God the Father has chosen all of us in Jesus Christ,

for He wanted to make us His children.
Вот почему Бог Отец задумал исполнить свою волю
That's why God the Father intended to fulfill His will.

in the Gospel of water and Spirit, in which we now believe,

and this is why He is completely,

He fulfilled His design about us.

And made them His children.
Из-за своих слабостей и недостатков мы не могли удержаться от того,
Due to our weaknesses and shortcomings, we could not refrain from...
чтобы каждый день не грешить,
to not sin every day,
и поэтому все мы были обречены быть осужденными Богом
And so we were all doomed to be judged by God.

for our sins and crimes.
Однако Бог Отец спас нас от всех наших грехов
However, God the Father saved us from all our sins.

How did we get the opportunity to become God's children?

This became possible because God the Father chose us in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Such an opportunity arose through the grace of our God the Father.

Ныне все вы должны уверовать в любовь Бога Отца по Его воле
Now all of you must believe in the love of God the Father according to His will.

Послание к Ефесиным объясняет нам,

It was precisely because it pleased God.

He has granted us the Gospel of water and Spirit.

and prompting us to believe in it,
Бог сделал нас Своими детьми.

Иными словами, Бог Отец спас нас, верующих в Него,

exclusively due to the righteousness accomplished by His Son.
Ни одно создание не повлияло на наше спасение.
No creature has affected our salvation.
Евангелие воды и Духа привело нас к Божьей праведности.
The gospel of water and the Spirit has led us to God's righteousness.
Но если бы Бог Отец не задумал сделать нас Своими детьми
But if God the Father had not intended to make us His children.
через это Евангелие и не сделал нас таковыми,
through this Gospel and did not make us so,
наша вера всегда была бы непостоянна.
Our faith would always be unstable.
Если бы наша вера была построена на таком ошибочном основании,
If our faith were built on such a faulty foundation,
как современная христианская вера и современное благословение,
as modern Christian faith and modern blessing,
она была бы несовершенна.
She would be imperfect.
Но наше спасение от греха было предопределено
But our salvation from sin was predetermined.
исключительно праведностью Бога и Иисуса Христа.
exclusively by the righteousness of God and Jesus Christ.
Бог Отец задумал наше спасение в Иисусе Христе,
God the Father conceived our salvation in Jesus Christ,
а Иисус Христос, в свою очередь, одновременно спас всех нас,
and Jesus Christ, in turn, simultaneously saved us all,

All this happened by the will of God the Father.
По Своей воле Бог Отец спас нас от всех наших грехов
By His will, God the Father saved us from all our sins.

Даровав нам Евангелие воды и Духа в Иисусе Христе,
Having granted us the Gospel of water and Spirit in Jesus Christ,
Он смыл наши грехи.
He washed away our sins.
Наше совершенное спасение уже было предопределено
Our perfect salvation has already been predetermined.
для нас, Богом Отцом, еще прежде создания мира.
For us, God the Father, even before the creation of the world.
Поскольку Бог возлюбил нас, Он захотел сделать нас
Since God loved us, He wanted to make us.
Своими сынами и дочерями, и поэтому Он смыл все наши грехи
With His sons and daughters, and therefore He washed away all our sins.
и принял нас как Своих совершенных невыгодных.
and accepted us as His perfect unprofitable servants.
Своих совершенных непорочных детей.
His perfect, innocent children.
А значит, то, что мы с вами стали детьми Бога и членами Его Церкви,
And thus, the fact that we have become children of God and members of His Church,
не имеет никакого отношения к нашим достоинствам и недостаткам.
has nothing to do with our strengths and weaknesses.
Но это произошло исключительно по Божьему плану спасения,
But this happened solely according to God's plan of salvation,
задуманному и осуществленному во Иисусе Христе.
conceived and accomplished in Jesus Christ.
Учитывая тот факт, что мы стали детьми Бога Отца,
Considering the fact that we have become children of God the Father,
исключительно по Его воле, нам больше ничего не остается,
exclusively by His will, we have nothing more left.
кроме как благодарить и славить три единого Бога.
except to thank and praise the Triune God.
Вот почему учит нас апостол Павел здесь, в первой главе послания к Ефесиным,
This is why the apostle Paul teaches us here, in the first chapter of the letter to the Ephesians.
давая всем нам ясно понять, что мы обрели наше спасение,
making it clear to all of us that we have found our salvation,
по вере в Евангелие Воды и Духа в соответствии с волей Бога Отца.
by faith in the Gospel of Water and the Spirit in accordance with the will of God the Father.
Мы теперь живем в этом мире как дети Божьи,
We now live in this world as children of God,
но иногда у нас наступает разочарование,
but sometimes we experience disappointment,
когда мы видим свои слабости и недостатки.
when we see our weaknesses and shortcomings.

But does it matter that we still have many shortcomings?

After all, despite our shortcomings,
