Но только ли такие типы людей можно встретить сегодня?
But are these the only types of people one can encounter today?

Помимо всего перечисленного, люди полагают, что есть другие пути избавления от грехов, следуя которым можно родиться свыше и очиститься от всех своих грехов.

Если я буду продолжать совершать благие дела перед Богом, то в один прекрасный момент я рожусь свыше, даже не подозревая об этом.
If I continue to do good deeds before God, then at some beautiful moment I will be born again, without even realizing it.
Однако, к каким бы выводам они ни приходили в результате своих рассуждений...

If we believe that the Lord has saved us.

Ложные чудеса и знамения,
False miracles and signs,

which are quite common
среди приверженцев человеческого разума,

а потому бессмысленны
and therefore meaningless

and have no relation whatsoever
к истинной вере,

It is necessary to simply believe.
