And the Mother of Jesus was there.

Jesus was also invited, along with His disciples, to the wedding.

And when the wine ran out, the Mother of Jesus said to Him,

Было же тут шесть каменных водоносов,
There were six stone water carriers here,
стоявших по обычаю очищения иудейского,
standing according to the custom of Jewish purification,

holding two or three measures each,
и Иисус говорит им,
and Jesus says to them,
«Наполните сосуды водою».
"Fill the containers with water."
И наполнили их до верха.
And they filled them to the brim.
И говорит им,
And he says to them,
«Теперь почерпните и несите к распорядителю пира».
"Now draw it and take it to the steward of the feast."
И понесли.
And they carried.
Когда же распорядитель отведал воды, сделавшейся вино,
When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine,
а он не знал, откуда это вино,
but he didn't know where the wine was from,
знали только служители, почерпавшие воду.
Only the servants who drew the water knew.
Тогда распорядитель зовет жениха и говорит ему,
Then the steward calls the groom and says to him,
«Всякий человек подает сперва хорошее вино,
"Every man first serves the good wine,"
а когда напьются, тогда худшее,
And when they get drunk, then it's the worst.

"And you are a fine wine."
Хорошее вино сберег доселе.
Good wine has been preserved until now.
Так положил Иисус начало чудесам в Канне Галилейской
Thus Jesus began his miracles in Cana of Galilee.

And His disciples believed in Him.

What did the Lord do to save us from all our sins?
