Tómala para ti y haga mi Señor el Rey lo que bien le parezca y aún los bueyes daré para el holocausto

Take it for yourself, and let my Lord the King do what seems best to him; I will even give the oxen for the burnt offering.

Y los trillos para la leña y trigo para la leña y los trillos para la leña

And the thrashers for the firewood and wheat for the firewood and the thrashers for the firewood.

Yo lo doy todo entonces el Rey David dijo a Ornán no sino que efectivamente la compraré por su justo precio

I give it my all, then King David said to Ornán, "No, but I will indeed buy it for its fair price."

And David gave Ornan for that place the weight of 600 shekels of gold and David built there an altar to the Lord.

En el que ofreció holocausto y ofrendas de paz e invocó a Jehová quien le respondió

In which he offered burnt offerings and peace offerings and called upon the Lord, who answered him.

Por fuego desde los cielos en el altar del holocausto entonces Jehová habló al ángel

By fire from heaven on the altar of the burnt offering, then the Lord spoke to the angel.

Y éste volvió su espada a la vaina un lugar para el templo viendo David que Jehová le había oído

And he returned his sword to the sheath, a place for the temple, seeing that David had heard him.

En el texto que acabamos de leer yo le comentaba fue un momento primeramente de aflicción

Si David al censar al pueblo le vuelvo a reiterar pensando en su capacidad de armamento

Pensando en su capacidad humana tal vez hasta donde le iba a dar o donde le permitía

Y no confiando en lo que Dios tenía para él, un momento de aflicción, de mortandad

Pero llega un momento también donde viene la palabra para David

Para levantar un altar en el terreno de Ornán, Jebuseo dice la palabra del Señor

Tanto este hombre como David y tanto este hombre como Ornán

Nos puede llevar a convertir la primera piedra

It can lead us to lay the first stone.

Para que nuestro futuro sea esperanzador prácticamente

¿Cómo podemos hacer?

David llegó el momento que Dios le habló

David reached the moment when God spoke to him.

Porque había destrucción y dijo algo tengo que hacer

Because there was destruction and he said, I have to do something.

Algo tengo que acontecer, algo tiene que acontecer

Something has to happen, something has to happen.

Algo tiene que pasar para que esto cambie

Something has to happen for this to change.

No puede seguir igual, no puede el pueblo estar muriendo
