Y la sensación de repente dices, coño, he ganado.

Pues la verdad es que fue casi real, porque yo tenía una grabación que había hecho para simplemente registrar temas que estaban compuestos de hacía tiempo.

Well, the truth is that it was almost real, because I had a recording that I had made just to document songs that had been composed a long time ago.

Entonces elegí cuatro temas que un poco resumiesen esas cuatro etapas musicales, ¿no?

So I chose four songs that somewhat summarize those four musical stages, right?

Y muy diferentes entre sí a nivel estilístico, aunque ahora mismo es muchísimo más diferente.

And they are very different from each other stylistically, although right now it is much more different.

Y entonces, nada.

Fue cuestión de que me dio un arrebato, lo mandé al concurso este.

It was a matter of me having a burst of inspiration; I sent it to this contest.

Y de repente, pues estábamos en Radio 3 y de repente ya estábamos en el FIB.

And suddenly, well, we were on Radio 3 and suddenly we were at the FIB.

Entonces tampoco fue, no me lo tomé tampoco ni como un concurso, ni siquiera las vivencias que tuvimos dentro, ¿no?, con las otras bandas.

So it wasn't that either, I didn't take it as a contest, not even the experiences we had inside, right?, with the other bands.

Tuvimos esa sensación y, bueno, y que realmente por experiencia.

We had that feeling and, well, it was really from experience.

Bandas que se quedaron como finalistas o semifinalistas y luego continuaron su trabajo.

Bands that were finalists or semifinalists and then continued their work.

Gente que ganó y que después, pues no, no pudo continuar por lo que fuese, ¿no?

People who won and then, well, couldn't continue for whatever reason, right?

Entonces, ser ganador o no, en este caso, lo que nos ayudó es a un poco a mostrar el proyecto y tener más posibilidades de, pues eso, de público.

So, whether we are winners or not, in this case, what helped us is that it allowed us to showcase the project a bit more and have more chances of, well, having an audience.

Estaba yo pensando que sí que hay premios malditos.

I was thinking that there are indeed cursed prizes.

Yo recuerdo, creo que fue la década de los 90, la MTV, nuestros premios.

I remember, I think it was the 90s, MTV, our awards.

El que daba Artista Revelación fue matemático.

O sea, hay como 5 o 6 años seguidos que, sí, el disco que ganó el premio, ese vendió.
