Pues vamos a estar el próximo 25, 26, 27 de mayo recorriendo lo alto de Puerto Rico,
Well, we are going to be traveling through the highlands of Puerto Rico on May 25, 26, and 27.
pasando justo al lado del pico más alto de Puerto Rico, el Cerro Ajusta en Ayuya.
passing right next to the highest peak in Puerto Rico, Cerro Ajusta in Ayuya.
Así que pues vamos a estar, Gabriel, pedaleando el primer día de la ruta.
So we will be, Gabriel, biking on the first day of the route.
Desde el pueblo de Yabucoa hasta llegar a Ayuya,

donde vamos a pernoctar, tenemos con el apoyo del municipio,
where we are going to stay overnight, we have the support of the municipality,
estamos haciendo todas las gestiones para que los ciclistas hospeden en todas las hospederías disponibles en el pueblo de Ayuya.
We are making all the arrangements for the cyclists to stay in all the available lodgings in the town of Ayuya.
Ya que queremos, pues que después que los ciclistas han pasado ese primer día pedaleando cuesta arriba,
Since we want, well, after the cyclists have spent that first day cycling uphill,
pues que tengan su merecido descanso, el siguiente día pues vamos de Ayuya a Ña,
Well, may they have their well-deserved rest, the next day we are going from Ayuya to Ña.

Te pregunto, porque mucha gente pues ve las actividades normales que se hacen en ciclismo aquí en la isla,
I ask you because many people see the normal activities that are done in cycling here on the island.
y entonces pues piensan pues que va a ser una cosa pues que solamente para ciclistas bien experimentados,
And so they think that it is going to be something just for very experienced cyclists,
tipo deportivo, rápido, ¿a qué tipo de público va dirigido esto y cómo va a ser el paso que ustedes van a llevar en la actividad?
Sports type, fast, who is this aimed at and what will be the approach you will implement in the activity?
Esta actividad va dirigida, Gabriel, a todos los ciclistas, ciclistas de alto rendimiento,
This activity is aimed, Gabriel, at all cyclists, high-performance cyclists,
y ciclistas pues que están empezando y están haciendo por lo menos alrededor de 10 a 12 horas de ciclismo durante la semana,
and cyclists who are just starting and are doing at least around 10 to 12 hours of cycling during the week,
ya que pues que necesitamos un fondo para poder subir las cuestas,
since we need a fund to be able to climb the slopes,
y mi consejo es que los que tengan monito, pues monten el monito especialmente para ese primero y segundo día,
And my advice is that those who have a little monkey should ride the little monkey especially for that first and second day.

since our purpose is to organize cycling events, to ride in a group, all united,

so we're going to be waiting for it to fall behind,

escort vehicles, we are going to have support vehicles, the famous brooms,
que si alguien pues mira, se siente que no puede subir una cuesta y quiere esperar pues llegar al pico,
if someone feels that they can't climb a hill and wants to wait to reach the peak,
pues mira, descansa, se come un guineo, se toma agua,
Well, look, rest, eat a banana, drink water.
y comienza nuevamente a bajar, esto es para pasarla bien,
and starts to go down again, this is to have a good time,
no es un evento deportivo, así que nos vamos a estar esperando en las cuestas,
it's not a sporting event, so we'll be waiting for each other on the slopes,
estamos ya, tenemos identificadas las cuestas en todas las rutas,
We are ready, we have identified the hills on all the routes.
y pues puede ser que tú subas tres cuestas, y en la tercita cuesta pues va a estar el pelotón esperándote,
And well, it may be that you climb three hills, and on the third hill, the peloton will be waiting for you.
no queremos que nadie se quede atrás, ya que mi filosofía en este tipo de eventos es que tenemos que esperarnos pedalear juntos,
we don't want anyone to be left behind, since my philosophy in this type of event is that we have to wait and pedal together,
y pues dado que en las cuestas yo no puedo pedirle a un ciclista de alto rendimiento,
And since I can't ask a high-performance cyclist on the slopes,
que te puede subir una cuesta un poquito más rápido,
that can help you climb a hill a little faster,
de tenerlo a cinco millas para esperar el que va más lento,
of having it five miles away to wait for the one that goes slower,
pues entonces lo que vamos a hacer es dejarle la subida al líder,
Well then, what we are going to do is let the leader take the lead.
esas cuestas que sabemos que nos vamos a encontrar de uno o dos kilómetros, o tres kilómetros,
those slopes that we know we are going to encounter of one or two kilometers, or three kilometers,
pues le damos la subida libre y arriba los esperamos,
Well, we give you free access and we'll be waiting for you up there.
y luego comenzamos a bajar todos juntos,
and then we all started to go down together,
tomando las precauciones pues que una vez el ciclista llegue arriba,
taking precautions since once the cyclist reaches the top,
pues tenga su espacio para descansar, para que se reciba nuevamente el oxígeno en su organismo,
well, have your space to rest, so that oxygen can enter your body again,
y evitar así por un accidente, como muchas veces vemos ciclistas luego de subir una cuesta,
and thus avoid an accident, like we often see with cyclists after going up a hill,
pues bajando se nos marean, yo gracias a Dios no he tenido esa situación, yo no he tenido esa situación,
Well, going down makes us dizzy, I thank God I haven't had that situation, I haven't had that situation.

since we are always taking the necessary precautions on the slopes,
y yo prefiero esperar que tener que lamentar,
and I prefer to wait than to have to regret,
y pues los que están en nuestras actividades, pues saben que nuestra velocidad de cicloturismo,
and well those who are in our activities know that our cycle tourism speed,
y vamos a pasear, a pasear, a pasarla bien, y más en la juta panorámica, lo dice la palabra,
and we're going to stroll, to stroll, to have a good time, and more on the panoramic view, the word says so,
panorámica es nuestra juta matriz, como podemos ver otras juntas panorámicas alrededor del mundo,
Panoramic is our matrix board, as we can see other panoramic boards around the world.
