Y a mí lo que también más me gusta, la comida, pues bueno,

Sí, las tostadas, el ponche, claro, el ponche es lo que más me gusta.

yo acepto de lleno el compromiso que tengo con la humanidad,

I fully accept the commitment I have to humanity,

que tengo con Dios, que tengo con mi prójimo

What do I have with God, what do I have with my neighbor?

y, pues, yo me lanzo dispuesto, ¿no?,

And, well, I throw myself in ready, right?

a tenerle la mano siempre a quien lo necesite.

to always lend a hand to those who need it.

Yo creo que ese sería el mensaje esencial de las fiestas decembrinas,

I believe that would be the essential message of the December holidays,

claro, sin dejar de lado todo lo demás,

el ponchecito, el atolito, los dos laditas,
