Después de haber fumado marihuana, la película se volvió mucho de los estereotipos, pues sus dos protagonistas eran extranjeros, uno asiático y otro hindú, y recientemente se estrenó su secuela Harold y Kumar van a Guantánamo Bay.

La película es muy disfrutable, aunque si tratan de elegir entre esta y su primera película, yo iría con la primera, porque es más simple y hasta cierto punto más divertida, pero no por mucho.
