Peygamberimiz sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem buyurdu ki,

Our Prophet, peace be upon him, said that,

Allah-u Teâlâ'nın çok sevdiği kimse,

The person whom Allah, the Exalted, loves very much,

dinini öğrenen ve başkalarına öğretendir.

He is the one who learns his religion and teaches it to others.

Dininizi, İslâm âlimlerinin ağızlarından öğreniniz.

Learn your religion from the mouths of Islamic scholars.

Hakîkî âlim bulamayan,

One who cannot find a true scholar,

ehl-i sünnet âlimlerinin kitaplarından öğrenmeli

One should learn from the books of the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah.

ve bu kitapların yayılmasına çalışmalıdır.

and should work to spread these books.

İlm, amel ve ihlâs sahibi olan,

He who possesses knowledge, action, and sincerity,

Müslümana, İslâm âlimi denir.

A Muslim is referred to as an Islamic scholar.

Bu üçünden biri noksan olup da,

If one of these three is lacking,

kendini âlim tanıtana,

to one who presents themselves as a scholar,

kötü din adamı, yobaz denir.

A bad clergyman is called a bigot.

İslâm âlimi, insanı saadet kapılarını açan sebeplere kavuşturur.

The Islamic scholar brings a person to the causes that open the doors to happiness.

Dinin bekçisidir.

He is the guardian of the religion.

Yobaz, insanı felakete sürükleyen sebeplerin içine düşürür.

Bigotry leads a person into the reasons that drag them into disaster.

Şeytanın yardımcısıdır.

He is the helper of the devil.
